Building A Nationwide Support Structure For Freedom Builders!

People struggle to build freedom mostly because they lack a support structure that gives them connections, activities, and resources that cater to them. The support structures of our present sociocultural and socioeconomic system benefit the rulers and corall and manage the serfs, they are not designed to promote or facilitate things like virtue, liberty, and independence.

What does a national support structure for freedom builders look like?

We intend to use a virtual-to-local approach to building such a support structure, we intend it to be fully funded mostly through subscriptions within a free market framework, and we intend it to support a multiplicity of freedom-building organizations, businesses, and local groups/networks all over this land. Our conception ot a nationwide support structure is based on a virtual-to-local approach where people connect and gain insights through The Freedomist and other affiliated websites or virtual communities but they use a ready-made local charter to gather and work together locally. In essence we are talking about a country-level Freedomist Network that either plants its own local franchise groups, communities, and networks or facilitates like-minded and similar, but unaffiliated, groups of people.

This website is just the beginning. Our content is meant to both inform you of current affairs from a pure freedom perspective and to arm you with ideas and concepts by which you might persuasively engage others. It is also meant to gather a massive countrywide list of freedom activists around the country, focusing in having at least 1000 “Freedomists” in every single Congressional District who support our effort as subscribers. This is both our main product, intelligence and empowerment content for freedom builders, and our crowdfunding effort. Through subscriptions to The Freedomist our goal is to build more virtual structures and to hire full-time freedom builders in every state and Congressional District who can proactively serve and support individual freedom builders.

In the event, for instance, we see at least 10 local Freedomist Communities in every US Congressional District with 500 or more members per community, we will see a massive support structure that tens of millions of Americans can access that facilitates their freedom building efforts. We could see a time when, thanks substantially to this countrywide support structure and its virtual-to-local approach, over 50% of all US Counties and Parishes have declared themselves to be Freedom Sanctuaries, or what we call “Freedom Shires”, whose elected or appointed officials, school officials, judges, and law enforcement at every level actively embrace and defend liberty as defined by the original spirit and intent of the US Bill of Rights.

Many freedom building efforts fail because they attempt to “go to battle” without first gathering, training, and nurturing an “army” of dedicated and engaged activists who are not merely told what to do but who are empowered and given agency to decide what to do within a broad but cohesive and disciplined framework. Our aim is to build the infrastructure for a countrywide Freedomist movement of activist freedom builders who are empowered to pursue and build their own freedom and to activate local citizens until they find themselves living in a Freedom Shire.

Let’s try to visualize this support structure and what it will do for you and local groups of Freedomists.

The “end of the funnel” for this effort is a Freedomist Group of around 10-20 adults, a Freedomist Club of around 120 adults, a Freedomist Community of perhaps 500-1000 adults, and, through their activities, the eventual declaration at County level of Freedom Sanctuaries, which, when combined with local freedom-building networks that facilitate individual and local self-reliance, result in a Freedom Shire.

A Freedom Shire isn’t an entity per se, it is an achievement wherein a county parish, or city has both been declared a Freedom Sanctuary and has a local citizenry who are mostly self-reliant and self-sustaining without being dependent on any entity or system they do not directly own and/or self-govern. This is the end-goal of the Freedomist: to facilitate communications, knowledge, connections, and collaboration which would ultimately result in over 50% of all US Counties, Cities, and Parishes being both declared Freedom Sanctuaries and achieving a Freedom Shire state of being.

We cannot begin to imagine the political, cultural, and economic shift and devolution of power and wealth from the top and center to individuals and local communities that must necessarily and inevitably follow achieving this result. If over 50% of all US Counties, Parishes, AND Cities become like unto a Freedom Shire in their living, daily reality the ability of left or right authoritarians to corall people into serfdom would be critically undermined.

Let’s focus on a Freedomist Community organized around Groups and Clubs and what activities it would promote, facilitate, or conduct. The Freedomist Community would be responsible for the following primary types of activities:

1. Providing hosting and meeting facilities to engender social activities and gatherings among Freedomists and to engage the local citizenry in a Town Meeting system of instruction and guidance to all local officials and entities of any kind that hold a public trust (Clubs would have their own local facilities)

2. To create a mirror structure of all local official and corporate or non-profit organizations and entities whereby “Mirrors”, individuals who mirror their actual counterpart, and their 5-10 member Round Table Groups, shadow and track all activities and, at the behest of a Town Meeting of all Freedomists, engage those officials in a transparent civil discourse

3. To facilitate the development of a local intranet through mesh hubs whereby Freedomists can connect and communicate without using corporate controlled platforms, communications services, or the internet which can also be connected to all such networks via our own satellite communications

4. To act as and build a local people-centered free press using the RAWE News model where RAWE stands for Resource, Advocacy, and Watchdog coverage that is Entertaining and Educational

5. To facilitate the printing and distribution of a free “underground newspaper” that speaks the truth and mobilizes peopld to take positive, peaceful, and effective action for freedom

6. To provide educational, inspirational, and practical information and local training and cooperative activities that tend to help individuals, families, and free associations to be prepared for disasters and emergencies, to become materially self-reliant and independent, to be safe and secure, and to have legal protection of their rights, persons, and property from all hazards

7. To educate, inform, motivate, and mobilize voters to take The Freedomist Pledge, participate in local Town Meetings and Caucuses to guide all local officials and organizations, and to vote in elections based on a Freedomist litmus test

8. To find constructive and consensus-based solutions and answers to actual injustice and inequity which affects local people and through which the result is a local culture that is based on a free and pluralistic society of equals

9. To facilitate and nurture, through our own alternative Chambers of Commerce, a true free market, a Freedomist-based capitalism that puts people first as opposed to the cronyism masquerading as Capitalism, whereby economic exchanges are based on freewill participation for the profit and benefit of all (even if you don’t like the word capitalism, we hope you embrace our concept of a truly free market that is just and equitable)

While our goal is to work with everyone who will work with us, our initial focus must be on finding, gathering, organizing, and mobilizing a core of Freedomist activists around the country until there is a vocal and visible Freedomist presence in every US Congressional District.

Today we have a free email list of around 584,000 American Citizens and an activist list of around 78,000. We have far to go but we have a good start and with your help we plan to go much further. Our network reaches many thousands of people every day, but we need to reach multiple millions and we need them to be from all over this land amd from all major demographics.

The Freedomist is NOT “Republican”, our core is freedom with justice for all people equally and fairly without favor or prejudice. We are not “Democrats”, our concept of freedom is founded on virtue, liberty, and independence at the individual to local level and through freewill participation among equals.

The Democrats today lead the charge in freedom taking activism using bogeyman fears and utopian promises on one hand and suppression and corporate censorship on the other hand. But that could change in the future as the Republicans are today collaborators with this freedom taking agenda and were in the past in the vanguard of this execrable movement away from freedom.

To Republicans freedom has been basically limited to doing whatever you like for profit and the social consequences or social injustice be dammed. To the Democrats, freedom is mostly limited to sensual life in the form of sex and recreational chemicals while in all other matters their corporate monopolies or the government are in total control of your life.

Neither the Republicans or the Democrats are a pro-freedom party. Neither truly advances freedom based on virtue, liberty, and independence for everyone equally, fairly, and justly. The policies of neither Party could ever result in an individual and local community centered free and pluralistic society of equals.

By building this countrywide support structure we have a chance to stem the tide of leftwing and rightwing anti-freedomists whose agendas tend to do harm to the rights, persons, and property of average people, albeit each Party tends to favor some demographics over others.

Calling Out Woke Communists and Weak GOP Leaders

Tom Klingenstein is a playwright, businessman, and academic whose true north has always been threefold: loving America, fighting for freedom, and upholding vital values and core institutions which are essential to an advanced civilization. His latest speech, found at tomklingenstein.com, is called “Winning The Cold Civil War” and is both a rallying call to those opossed to the totalitarianism stalking the halls of Congress and the White House and to GOP leadership who seem to not recognize the severity and intensity of the woke communist threat to our freedom.

Klingenstein states in the speech, “Winning a war requires two fundamental understandings. First, you must understand that you are, in fact, in a war. War time requires very different rhetoric, strategy and people than peace time. Trump is a wartime leader. Second, you must understand your enemy, what it wants and how it goes about getting what it wants. What our enemy wants is the destruction of the American way of life. It goes about it by trying to force everyone to say ‘America is systemically racist.’ If it can convince us of this falsehood, it will be well on its way to overturning the American way of life. Every time Joe Biden accuses America of being systemically racist, he is, though he doesn’t know it, calling for the overthrow of the American way of life.”

After detailing the true agenda of the woke communists and their tactics of delegitimizing America itself, Klingenstein focuses on the GOP’s role in fighting back, a role that Party has, in our estimation, abdicated.

“What should we do about all this? The essential thing, as I’ve tried to stress, is for Republicans to understand we are in a war and then act accordingly. War is not a time for too much civility, compromise, or for imputing good motives to the enemy. Our generals must fight as if the choice were between liberty and death. This is no time for sunshine patriots”, Klingenstein opined.

The effort to cancel America itself and replace it with woke communism, what we have called a new brand of communist totalitarianism that couples state and corporate power for authoritarian ends, has been barely acknowledged by the Republicans, who we often call a collaboration party for that reason.

US Mass Deports Haitian Refugees

Haiti is an insecure hell hole of corruption and inefficiency led by people without morals and it is no wonder tens of thousands want to flee to the US. But while the Biden administration practically rolls out the welcome mat for Hispanic migrants/refugees from the south, the African-descended Haitians are not welcome.

The US is unceremoniously and without any hearing for asylum seekers deporting over 12,000 Haitians to their homeland which is riven by disaster, from an assassination of the President to an earthquake to ongoing economic collapse. If any group of people could be called refugees, these people certainly can, but the woke administration for all its claims of caring for people of color more than anyone else is brutally and with historic speed sending people who are far more vulnerable and at risk than anyone else back while welcoming, how shall we see, rather lighter skinned migrants who are more well off and less vulnerable.

The people of Haiti have a country ruled by maniacs, to be blunt, and controlled by international agencies and global corporations in a way that the average Haitian has no hope or means of changing a thing. They are true victims without any realistic way to save themselves, no matter how hard they work.

One wonders why the Haitians are being removed so brutally, with nary a word of protest from the social justice media, but clearly the very notion of importing more black people seems to offend Democrats.

As AP Reported:

Central Americans have also crossed the border in comparable numbers without being subject to mass expulsion, although Mexico has agreed to accept them from the U.S. under pandemic-related authority in effect since March 2020. Mexico does not accept expelled Haitians or people of other nationalities outside of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.

We suspect if we dig deeper that, in truth, importing millions of brown-skinned vote slaves who are also cheap labor is enough for the Democrats and their Republican collaborators, but accepting genuine refugees whose skin is black is off the table. In both cases, whether accepted or not, these people in both camps are being treated like cattle, dehumanized, and either retained for exploitation or expelled because they are of African descent.

THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE CAESAR

We live in the dawning of new Western Empire, under the banner of globalism but aimed at world domination by a mostly white ruling class in the West via such entities as the UN, WTO, IMF, World Bank, and others. This is the end of “the republic”, or the period of relative decentralization, at least on a global scale. The desire is to ultimately turn all countries into puppets of a corporate ruling class mostly living in the West and mostly white male in composition.

The irony of this coterie of ruling class thugs using things like rainbow politics, alt-gendered social experiments, white-shaming, social and racial justice, equality and economic justice is that the very ruling class pushing these things to destroy the social fabric and unsettle society are quite against any of these things. In short, it’s a sham. Everyone being fired up to change the very shape and structure of society to fit these theoretical fantasies is being used to undermine the social order in order to pave the way for authoritarianism.

But there us only room at the top of an empire for one Caesar. As much as the ruling class think their unofficial and informal junta of around 100 or so top people can share power once they eliminate all competition to their unholy alliance, the truth is all of these grandees are at risk of falling victim to the same “canceling” as they are orchestrating against others.

“It (Caesarism)…is not dictatorship, not the result of one man’s overriding ambition, not a brutal seizure of power through revolution. It is not based on a specific doctrine or philosophy. It is essentially pragmatic and untheoretical. It is a slow, often century-old, unconscious development that ends in a voluntary surrender of a free people escaping from freedom to one autocratic master.” (From: pg. 5 in 1st edition Introduction, and pg. Let’s be clear on two points: the entire new alt-gendered sociocultural paradigm being pushed so hard now is a sham and will be discarded as soon as possible and that there can only be one Caesar if the ruling class coalition wins its way. The emergence of that Caesar will likely be extremely violent.

This new empire will not be as universal as it aims, and it won’t even have unopposed control over the lands it rules. There will always be a growing core of people who find gaps for freedom and build parallel structures that are proof against all the efforts by the new Caesar to shut them down.

Ultimately, the West and and every civilization dominated by its rulers will suffer failure and collapse. The measures needed to gain and keep such monopoly power will bankrupt this empire long before it becomes invincible.

But ONE SINGLE Caesar is coming and must come, because in the end, when it comes to empire, there can only be ONE Caesar at a time.

America As A Commonwealth of Freedom

If you truly want a free country, a Commonwealth of Freedom, start by repealing the 16th Amendment and the Federal Reserve Act, both in 1913, the year our republic died but it took this long for that death to look obvious. Anybody who isn’t serious about these things isn’t serious about saving freedom from our corrupt and rapacious ruling class and is just playing silly games that don’t matter to anyone in any material way.

Beyond these things the following Constitutional Amendments, or something like them, are needed to enhance the Bill of Rights and devolve power to private persons and local communities. Whether you agree with them all or not, perhaps by sharing them we can begin a transcendent and open discussion of alternatives to the present and increasingly authoritarian system of corruption and control.

Here is a starting point for reform, dubbed “The Expanded Bill of Citizens’ Rights”:

1. Term limits and the rights of recall, petition, guaranteed majority elections, referendum, and redress, paper ballots, secure manual and publicly visible vote counting, voter ID

2. Treatment of corporate entities that exceed 5% market share, all Unions, and all financial institutions that serve the general public as semi-official bodies with a “public trust”, and that they be bound by the Bill of Rights in their treatment of their clients and the public, prohibiting them in the same way government entities are prohibited from participating in partisan politics

3. Creation of new Domestic Nations with tribal status and Homelands with the same internal autonomy as the states with the basic requirements being these Homelands be at least 100 acres in size for each parcel and the Domestic Nation have a tribal, ethnic, or fraternal bond and be similar to a fraternal benefit society of at least 25,000 members save for indigenous tribal groups which have to size requirement and granting one seat in Congress to each such Domestic Nation per 800,000 members

4. Return to the Gold Standard

5. Creation of a 1200 member Council of Censors individuals can petition to try any official in government who violates the Bill of Rights, this body being drawn by lottery from qualified Electors who pass a Constitutional Law test and who have a high character

6. Strengthening the Bill of Rights explicitly, especially the right to arms equal to a common infantry soldier, the right of free speech, Rights of conscience and free association, freedom of religion, and trial by jury

7. Requirements that all laws apply to all officials in government, that they be easily understood, and that they all be subjected to national referendum, as well as the REINS Act

8. The death penalty as the ultimate punishment for officials who violate the Bill of Rights, or at least stripping their citizenship

9. All elections use paper ballots, require ID, and all counting be live video fed to the public and be observed by all Parties and candidates designated representatives

10. Free trade that is fair trade aimed at applying the same regimen other countries apply to US goods and services to those countries and dissolution of international bodies like the WTO and the IMF, which are global kleptocracies

11. The right of freehold by which no person shall be taxed in their freehold, i.e. property taxes cannot be levied on the essential freehold needed for families and individuals

12. The right to form clustered living cohabitations for people related by blood, nationality, or fraternal bonds with up to 200 adult member-owners of a mutual benefit corporation and the internal social, cultural, and economic liberty of the same

13. The ability of 2/3rds of all States, whether by their Governor OR the legislature, to veto a Supreme Court ruling and require a national referendum in which 60% must APPROVE of the Supreme Court ruling

14. Reform of prisons to require no private prisons, no exploitation of the prisoners, and humane treatment that transitions prisoners to productive life in civil society and punishes those guards and prisoners who harm other inmates and holds all prisoners to a humane and civil standard: death penalty for prisoners who rape or seriously injure other inmates

15. Removal of government from all forms of marriage or civil unions with each marriage/civil union being a private contract, albeit absolutely prohibiting polygamy and allowing any domestic nation or religious organization to define these matters as they see fit

16. Ending federal involvement in all activities not explicitly consented to by 3/4 of all States with all federal departments being subjected to review as well as termination of all regulations not explicitly passed by Congress in detail

17. Requirement that no member of Congress vote on any bill they have not read and that unrelated items not be grouped together, with the Council of Censors having the power to try any member of Congress who fails to abide by this

18. Stripping of citizenship from any member of Congress who advocates for any policy deemed to violate the Bill of Rights in their original spirit and intent by the Council of Censors

19. Supremacy of Common Law and requirement that all alleged violations of any law be shown to involve an actual tort as well as creation of a requirement that all juries be directed as to their right to exercise jury nullification, to try both the person AND the law

20. Restriction of all Courts to the original spirit and intent of the Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights, and the trial of any judge by a 12 member panel from the Council of Censors who violates this with the penalty being stripping of office and citizenship

21. Requirements that every state deem Counties or Parishes as constituent and self-governing entities which are assumed to hold all the powers not reserved to the Federal Government and that 3/4 of all Counties be required to approve state functions with a review of every department, all states being sovereign republics consisting of the Counties or Parishes

22. Home Rule Amendment whereby locales may form consensual community democracies through a consensual decision-making process like unto a town meeting with maximum local sovereignty

23. Treatment of gangs, totalitarian organizations which envision the destruction of liberty as defined by the Bill of Rights, terrorist organizations, and violently racist organizations which would violate the rights of others, as deemed so by the courts, to be criminal organizations as non-lawful enemy combatants in a state of rebellion, affiliation therewith being illegal (subject to review by the Council of Censors)

24. Community policing through a citizen’s constabulary led by ward level elected constables and the elected Sheriff to replace local police and state police, with greater access to weapons for volunteers who participate, creation of a county level 120 member Council of Censors who both oversee the entire Citizen’s Constabulary and who protect the Bill of Rights from violations by elected or appointed officials and government entities

25. Requirement that Constitutional literacy, especially the original spirit and intent of the US Bill of Rights, be taught and tested in High School, be a condition of receiving the right to vote as an Elector, and be taught at a higher level to obtain any degree or professional license

Such reforms are necessary to save the country and transform America into a commonwealth of freedom, a free society of equals which leaves nobody behind. We can debate these ideas but we need a new set of Amendments to fortify the rights of citizens and devolve power from state and federal governments and mega corporations to individuals, private free associations and enterprises, and local communities.

The Federal Reserve Pretends To Do An Ethics Review On Itself

If the stark architecture of the Federal Reserve building looks a bit like Albert Speer designed it in “neoclassical-fascist”, akin to the Soviets, the Nazis, and other dictatorship such as Italy under Mussolini and Spain under Franco, perhaps it was a subconscious admission as to the true intentions behind the creation of this financial and monetary behemoth.

1913 will forever be a dark year in American history: the 16th Amendment allowing the creation of the IRS and the Federal Reserve Act of the same year laid the groundwork for an emerging authoritarianism and gross levels of corruption our country may just find to be fatal to the republic.

According to CNBC, the Fed is “under an ethics review” after Senator Elizabeth Warren sent letters to 12 Fed Presidents “demanding stricter ethics in stock buying.” But the “ethics review” ordered by Fed chairman Jerome Powell is unlikely to deal with the fundamentals of our 1913 mistake, a mistake as awful as the bit in the Constitution that allowed for slavery, only through the IRS and the Fed, every American who isn’t in the corporate and political ruling class has become mostly subjected to these two freedom-busting organizations.

The CNBC article said, “Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell directed staff to review the central bank’s ethics rules for appropriate financial activities after disclosures that several senior central bank officials made multiple multimillion-dollar stock trades in 2020, while others held significant investments.”

The very notion this is anything but theater meant to assuage deeper, legitimate concerns about the Fed basically “monetizing” all Americans’ labor for the benefit of the few is itself either naivety or the ultimate form of propaganda collaboration between a phony press operation and a corrupt ruling class. The obvious investments by these bank officials are paltry compared to the true depths and breadths of thievery being officially sanctioned and facilitated by the Federal Reserve Act of 1913.

The only solutions are to repeal the 16th Amendment, devolve almost all Federal power save for national defense, repeal the Federal Reserve Act, return to the Gold Standard forthwith, and create new Constitutional Amendments to establish term limits, a balanced budget requirement, the creation of a Council of Censors to try all officials who violate the Bill of Rights in their most generous interpretation, and to establish Domestic Nations and Homelands for them with ownership by their tribal governments and not the Federal Government.

None of these measures, save the last two perhaps, are likely to gain purchase among America’s elected officials who will decry them as impossible, fantastical, and even radical. The Fed will hold its “ethics review” that will make surface suggestions and then keep pillaging our economic productivity in favor of the extremely few at the expense of almost everyone, especially productive workers in the middle class.

One may see in the creation of such Leviathan-like institutions the obvious signs of a civilization in deep and alarming moral, spiritual, and ethical decadence that cannot be managed or changed by the present political system because the massively corrupt ruling class is using that system to protect itself.

The Federal Reserve is a creature of a ruling class that arrogantly sees every human being as a commodity and pawn in their own games, all meant only to serve the benefit of that ruling class. Its ethics inquiry is pure theater.

Rebuilding The Social Fabric- A Upadarian Kinship Group

Totalitarianism, upheaval, and even the collapse of a whole civilization are the fruits of the lack of a strong social fabric that connects people on a purely freewill participatory basis. This social fabric connects people from the individual to a very large scale and provides a sanctuary against the centralized and top-down hierarchies of control, which always devolve to serfdom for the many for the benefit of the ruling class.

The social fabric of human civilization exists within such known structures as marriage and the family, but also within more ancient and weakened or even forgotten structures like the extended family, kinship groups of around 15 or so adults, and kinship communities of around 120 adults, all with some form of shared faith and ethnic/national identity. Rebuilding such social fabric is not about reform or using politics and laws, it is about both using our own models and blueprints and it is about imparting these ideas to others but mostly through a living witness and example they can see and interact with.

Eventually, networks of such kinship communities form the basis of larger distributed communities (we call them “Shires”) like unto free cities, cities of refuge, or spiritual city-states all based on spiritual as opposed to political sovereignty. In this manner we build the genesis structures both for a new qnd globally-distributed nation and a new civilization of many such nations even in the midst of the decline of old civilizations whose cultural and spiritual life has been politicized and corrupted.

We both propose our own model, the Upadarian Model based on our spiritual nation as a vanguard people of a new civilization, and the broader adaption of its more universal principles to other peoples and nations around the world, all based on Kingdom essentials, like the core of historic Christian doctrinal and ethical orthodoxy.

We begin with a Upadarian Kinship Group which you and others can unilaterally and autonomously build together using our blueprint qnd framework. Aside from the need to secure a very low cost “license” to use our brand and nomenclature, the development and management of your kinship group is controlled by you and can connect to the larger global Upadarian community through our website and eventually our platform.

A Upadarian kinship group is a more formal extended, but intentional, familial group of around 10-20 adults who treat one another like an extended family in terms of mutual support, mutual self-reliance, and a shared purpose. Imagine 20 other adults who live near you and who care for your well-being, success, and happiness as much as they care for their own and where you feel the same way.

A Kingship Group is like unto a small extended family, but it does not replace your own blood kin. In fact, many such groups may form mostly among people already related by blood, though blood relations are not the sole basis of a Kinship Group and every adult member is both a Christian and a peer of our spiritual nation. But, that being said, Kinship Groups do not replace your own blood relations to whom you have mutual obligations.

In an ideal world, using historical examples as our inspiration, kinship groups generally occupied the same property. But in the real world where people have leases and mortgages and cannot just up and relocate, or may not wish to, such groups may be “distributed”, as in people who live near each other connect and gather at some sort of common space or in each other’s houses. Either way, it is possible to reconstitute a modern version of the ancient kinship group whenever a group of people meet the criterion for such a group and choose to practice mutual self-reliance and support in pursuit of shared goals.

We propose that nationhood, as in a form of shared identity that can be shared with two people or more and that can scale upward to include millions without a neee for some centralized hierarchy of top-down control, or something like it, is an essential criteria. A kinship group requires a deep degree of shared beliefs, values, and convictions about daily life and practices, otherwise the only form of cohesiveness that is possible would be through some form of charismatic and/or authoritarian leader, which is most certainly not what anyone needs.

When the connections and bonds of unity are organic, that is, from the heart and strictly voluntary and open-ended (free to enter, free to leave), then the need or tolerance for top-down control is almost zero. It should be zero. The difference between a healthy kinship group where people’s individual destiny and happiness are served and a cultish environment where people’s individuality itself is subsumed may in fact be this organic cohesiveness.

Cultish behavior is considered by Upadarians to be one of the greatest threats to human dignity, happiness, and autonomy as God intends it. People lording it over others and forcing or manipulating them to conform for the good and benefit of the few is a gross sin against God and your fellow human beings.

Where something like nationhood as we define it, on strictly voluntary and spiritual grounds and through freewill participation and adoption of shared ideals and the such, is applied, we have organic cohesiveness that is open-ended and that enhances the individual’s quality of life. In theory other forms of organic cohesiveness may be created, but unless they embody shared social, cultural, economic, and even civic virtues and standards that guide the whole and reflect the actual beliefs, values, and convictions of the participants on a freewill participatory basis, then the opportunity for some form of top-down control to emerge is there.

Through our 17 Protocols, for instance, we can spell out what those things are on a very transparent manner and people can then decide, on a voluntary basis, whether or not these things reflect their own beliefs, values, and convictions. It’s not a matter of us saying “you need to change to relfect these Protocols”, it’s us saying “we are being totally transparent about the things that guide us and IF AND ONLY IF this REFLECTS your own beliefs, values, and convictions and FITS AND SERVES your own destiny and happiness, then perhaps these 17 Protocols are yours as well, perhaps you already are a peer of our spiritual nation.”

It is not unusual for one of us to tell people that their choice to affiliate with our spiritual nation, by making a pledge between themselves and God alone to be guided and inspired by these 17 Protocols, is entirely their own and should only be made if they are ceertain this fits and serves God’s best for their lives. If we maintain this stance and Upadarian kinship groups and communities emerge around bodies of people autonomously pursuing the use of these Protocols to have and experience mutual self-reliance and support, then every Upadarian kinship group will be a launching pad for the dreams and visions of each individual participant.

As we must often say, Upadaria isn’t a church or denomination. As a spiritual nation, any person, anywhere in the world, can adopt this form of nationhood, call it an intentional spiritual nationality, without formally joining any organization or buying anything. There is no hierarchy of control deeming who can become a Upadarian nor how using the 17 Protocols best fits your life, your needs, your dreams, and your circumstances.

Likewise, while every Upadarian kinship group will use these 17 Protocols as a guide, just how they do this, in what order or priority, and in all the details and specifics, is up to that autonomous and self-governing body of people. While Upadarian structures, organizations, enterprises, and institutions can and must exist, no Upadarian, by virtue of having taken the Pledge, is obliged to subscribe to our join or otherwise be governed by any of them. If you choose to adopt this spiritual nationality in addition to your political citizenship or ancestral ethnicity/nationality, and layered within and subordinated to your identity as a follower of Yeshua and citizen of the Kingdom of God, that is totally and solely, to be abundantly and painfully clear, between you and God!

Upadarians are first and foremost Christians, followers of Yeshua and citizens of the Kingdom. That, and not Upadaria, is our core identity. Being a Upadarian is a diversity expression of nationhood as prescribed by God who ordained a multiplicity of diverse nations of people whose God is the Lord. Not all Believers are called to our diversity expression of nationhood in Christ.

So even as we propose and lay out frameworks specifically for Upadarian kinship groups, the broader principles apply to all, and at the heart of this must be some form of organic cohesiveness like unto those who, through adopting the 17 Protocols, have become peers of our spiritual nation on a strictly voluntary basis.

This is the most difficult concept for people in the West especially because they live such atomized, as in separated to the smallest scale, lives. They are individuals and at most nuclear families that are easily and lightly separated by a form of divorce that has no deeper mutual commitment than what satisfies each individual person’s lower order needs. Such an atomized life is easy prey to any cohesive group with more wealth and power in society, for which reason slaves were never allowed to develop their own nuclear families on a long-term basis (mates would be separated and sold out, for instance, and children were taken from parents). They certainly weren’t allowed to create extended family groups or cohabitations with them.

The idea of a grand scale form of voluntary kinship which includes both people related by blood who maintain the same connections and others who aren’t blood related but who you have a spiritual connection to is difficult to envision. We cannot say “here is a modern example that is exactly what we are talking about.”

Historic examples existed and students of history know that from hunter-gatherer bands to the first village-size settlements, for most of human history, most human beings were connected to, but did not lose their personal identity within, bands and villages of around 15-20 adults which were usually connected to larger community groups pf around 80-150 adults. What has been lost and is being suppressed is that we “modern” humans have not by any means lost our needs for these kinds of social, cultural, economic, and civic connections based on a shared form of identity, like nationhood. The number one reason why we are seeing corporations and governments run amuck and violate basic human rights with impunity is their deliberate suppression of the social fabric.

Hedonism and the destruction of the family and extended family through atomized libertinism are the hallmarks of a society headed toward some form of tyranny or collapse, or both. While we would not mandate who you loved or lived with or how you define marriage or family, it is our conviction and belief that a man and woman raising their own biological and/or adopted children in connection with a larger extended multi-family community of like-minded souls is the ideal and perfect fractal of human civilization.

It is not for you to agree or not. Our holding to the dream of creating our own scalable social fabric on this basis alone, to the exclusion of all other arrangements, is not a threat to your holding to other opinions and ideas in your own connections and relationships. We believe that in a sick society, politics and the corporate world tend to create, or impose is a better word, a top-down culture that atomizes individuals and that thwarts efforts to create a more positive and voluntary social fabric. In a healthy society politics and corporate policy serves culture, it doesn’t impose sociocultural norms throughout coercive or manipulative means from above.

The idea in Western Civilization that one can change culture to change politics is idealism. One must so change politics that it retreats from culture and thereby also prevents the emergence of monopoly corporations that also use their influence and economic power to punish those who don’t adhere to the corporate ideology. But it is also possible to find and create carve-outs from even this political-corporate regimentation of atomization of individuals into an amorphous blob. While one ought to engage whatever powers are engaging them, by all reasonable means at hand, the deliberate creation of these kinship groups and the restoration of the social fabric of human civilization on a unilateral and freewill basis could eventually become pervasive enough that politics and corporate policy will change.

To create a kinship group with people who have adopted the 17 Protocols of Upadaria as a guide for their shared identity, conduct and behavior toward each other, and goals and purpose, is to walk away from the atomized life of top-down control and opt for more individual liberty and self-sufficiency using this most successful model for human flourishing. It is a change on lifestyle, particularly who you spend time with, where you spend that time, and how you spend that time, and even how you use your wealth, property, talents, and resources.

Changing from the atomized collectivism of a centralized command culture that serves the ruling class to an organic cohesiveness in connection to a kinship group based on a shared spiritual nationality is a major shift for most people akin to moving to an entirely new and alien land with a different sociocultural framework than you have ever known. It is an ancient way of life that is readily adapted to modern needs and possibilities, but for most people it is as novel as an imagined culture on an alien planet.

Part of why we have “Experiences” that start on the basis of you being a “refugee” is that the understanding of this form of social fabric is outside most people’s previous experiences within Western Civilization. Reconstituting these ancient norms and connections in modern form will take some effort and it requires a careful balance to prevent abuse: forming a strong social fabric should in no way subordinate or bury your individuality or allow anyone to control your life. The opposite should be the case.

A Upadarian kinship group just using the 17 Protocols has the basic foundation upon which to build organic cohesiveness that is positive, beneficial, and empowering to each individual. Participants in such efforts will find that more and more of their lives are liberated from the top-down control of a corrupt political and corporate ruling class who lord it over an amorphous mass of atomized individuals.

The New Dawn of A Nation of People Whose God is the Lord: A Proclamation

We are living in the new dawn of a Christian nation, or “Kingdom Nation”, whose purpose is to nurture the social fabric of civilization as God intends it (kinship), to reach and the nations as a witness and influence for Jesus (missions), and to provide sanctuary, aid, and advocacy for Christian and other refugees through creating physical safe havens as support hubs and even whole hub communities (refuge).

Can a nation come into existence without any political state or military power but only on the basis of spiritual sovereignty? Can such a nation be blessed and protected even though it takes a form more like an international Christian mutual benefit, missionary, and refugee society? Can a Christian nation be favored and secured by God even though the closest form of “statehood” is an intentional virtual commonwealth that connects people around the world and empowers them to autonomously build the genesis structures of that spiritual nation in their own neighborhoods and communities?

We are proclaiming a new Christian nation, as the vanguard people of a new civilization, and an international virtual commonwealth of freedom promoting the restoration of the social fabric of human civilization as ordained by God.

The social fabric of human civilization lives, in the Biblical worldview as adapted to our present era, in the form of things like individual spiritual sovereignty, marriage, the nuclear family, the extended family, an intentional kinship based on spiritual connections, the practices of clustered living based on spiritual kinship, kinship-based distributed communities, and physical spaces designed to nurture and promote these structures, including distributed cities and even major hubs like unto cities of refuge.

Unlike some worldly nations who depend on statehood and military means, our spiritual nation does not ever envision mandating our way of life through politics or laws on anyone: one must freely choose to adopt our way of life in connection to other peers they choose to associate with on a strictly freewill/voluntary basis.

Restoring and protecting the social fabric of a nation of people whose God is the Lord and a whole civilization whose very ideals are forged in Kingom essentials, is the mandate and purpose of what we call the “Upadaria” project. This is an intentional birthing of a new nation that isn’t a political state and that won’t be established or built using political or military force. Through a website, a book, and a virtual commonwealth platform, what we call “Upadaria” will become an international network of hundreds of thousands of clusters of people who adopt and use our 17 Protocols to autonomously build the genesis structures of a new Christian civilization in their own midst.

While a few will get this and be able to run with this, many will not embrace this opportunity to adopt a new form of spiritual nationhood, with all the blessings therefore, until they see the first physical structures, like a common facility or clustered living spaces. The pioneer builders of the genesis structures of this nation will be like those who were chosen by God to serve alongside Gideon, the Gideonites of Upadaria as we call them.

Many will come to our banner seeking refuge and safety, knowing that our nation is favored by God not because He is on our side but because we choose to be on His side for the advancement of human civilization.

The emergence of Upadaria as the vanguard spiritual nation of a new civilization is part of a larger paradigm shift from the age of kuriakos, or the church as a limited religious institution, to the age of the Kingdom, in which all the elements of the Kingdom are intentionally manifested among the elect. The birth and rise of Upadaria will play a role in manifesting the Kingdom of God among us and through us to reach the nations for Jesus Christ.

Because Upadaria, as the vanguard people of a new Christian civilization, is a Kingdom nation and not a worldly nation, it will be established through spiritual sovereignty as opposed to political sovereignty. It’s people (in their local chapter communities, missions and embassies common houses, and clustered living housing developments) will live all over the world among the nations as a witness and influence for the Lord.

Essentially, and legally, Upadaria will be manifested to most people through a privately owned and “for profit” virtual platform called The Virtual Commonwealth of Upadaria which emulates a free and pluralistic society of equals, and an international Christian mutual benefit, missionary, and refugee support society, with many Branch Societies and other structures all affiliated with both the virtual commonwealth and the international society. Upadarians are Christians who live all over the world and who have adopted and adapted our 17 Protocols to manifest the Kingdom of God among themselves in order to draw people to Christ.

This is a nation based on Kingdom essentials and sacred Biblical blueprints whose peers come from all lands and ancestries and who belong to every Christian denomination or church affiliation, we are not a church or denomination ourselves. A nation is substantively different than “the church”, even if its people are all citizens of the Kingdom and of the elect of the church.

It is our conviction, albeit not a doctrine, that the four core elements of the Kingdom, as we understand it, include what we call Ecclesium, Ethnium, Oikosium, and Koinonium or church, nation, family, and community.

The Ecclesium is the church universal and eternal, where we see “ecclesia” at the area level as the general government of the Kingdom, participated in by the Elect, over a distributed spiritual city-state of the Elect who are God’s embassy to the people in that area. The Ecclesium includes the local congregations, churches, and all Christian bodies as well as all followers of Yeshua.

The Ethnium which is both the universal commonwealth of the Elect as spiritual Israel and the many diverse nations whose God is the Lord. It has ever been God’s intention for a DIVERSITY EXPRESSION of Kingdom Nationhood to exist on this earth, in the form of many unique nations whose God is the Lord, as a witness to the nations.

The Oikosium is familial connections of spiritual kinship which manifest mostly in the form of marriage between a man and woman who raise their own children (including adopted children) in their own home and within the kinship connections of a multi-family extended household community that behaves as a larger extended family to meet all the basic needs of the whole.

The Koinonium is community through freewill participatory association based on intentional kinship and God’s standards of righteousness and justice. Koinonia basically refers to a form of scalable fellowship like unto kinship that amounts almost to an informal contract for mutual assurance and support between individuals and groups of people.

When most people think of church they think of buildings, clergy, and services but church is bigger than this (although it includes this) and, what is important here, the Kingdom itself has other elements of importance which are not contained within even the element of the church/ecclesia. Nationhood is a core element of the Kingdom meant to serve the broader world, not just its peers or Christians, so that, through its structures and spaces, people might find God if haply they seek Him.

²⁶And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

²⁷That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

Familial connections (Oikosium) and kinship community (Koinonium) engage and are essential to both Ecclesium and Ethnium, but they are their own elements. The core ideals for these elements include Unity in diversity for Ecclesium, Popular sovereignty for Ethnium, Democratic equality for Oikosium, and Rule of law for Koinonium, although all four core ideals apply to these elements in their own way. These are the four core ideals of Christian civilization as we understand and practice them.

It is important to keep in mind: nationhood as we present and practice it does not equate to the church and isn’t a form of a church any more than your own family or business is a church. We are promoting nationhood as Biblical element of the Kingdom, we are not creating a church of any kind.

While to some, becoming part of Upadaria is like unto joining an intentional society with a fraternal/mutual benefit, missionary, and refugee support focus, adopting this spiritual nationality as an addition to your own nested identities (like your country, ancestry, denomination, and etc), doesn’t require you to join any formal organization. Upadaria is a spiritual nation and anyone in the world who loves God, has a passion to reach the nations, and feels led to adopt and use our 17 Protocols, can become a Upadarian and pursue these things autonomously, led by God alone.

When you choose to adopt this spiritual nationhood, by making the Upadarian identity and way of life part of who you are and what you do, because these things fit God’s scroll of destiny and purpose for your life, you come within a sacred border of protection and provision (pomerium) which extends only to nations whose God is the Lord. God’s unique blessings, provision, and protection for such nations comes only through such a form of nationhood.

To become a Upadarian, or a peer of our nation, is to choose a form of nationhood based on God’s blueprint for the nations, His righteous and just standards for all nations as the basis of human civilization. But like the Kingdom, our spiritual nation is not built on the same basis as the worldly nations which tend toward things like force and political power. A Upadarian can love their country and the land where they live and does not need or demand any form of political separation, their only demand is for basic human dignity and human rights so they can express and experience their own way of life with fellow Believers and fellow Peers and be a witness and influence for Yeshua to the world around them.

It’s time to embrace the new thing God is doing: raising up a new nation of people who live all over the world but who are all part of the same spiritual nation as a witness to the nations for the Lord.

Authoritarianism Has Infected Our Society and It Must Be Defeated

Authoritarianism isn’t a strictly Democratic Party thing, it’s a malady afflicting almost all people with a high position, in government and corporations, whose first reaction to most problems is to force people and to delegitimize dissenters and opponents. The very rhetoric common to elections, in which the other side is painted in the grossest terms and with exaggerated caricatures, is an authoritarian tactic when you cannot win with ideas and/or your audience, the voters, lacks the mental discipline to be won by ideas rather than personalities and slick marketing.

Unfortunately none of us, including the Freedomist, is immune from this malady in our rhetoric and, while we must call out true authoritarianism and corruption in uncompromising language, our collective conscience as a country has been perverted into this authoritarian instinct toward the “others” outside our group. If our forefathers said something like that our form of government required a virtuous or moral people, surely civic virtues must be included in that “morality”, not just our own convictions about love, marriage, family, and decency.

Whether it was George Bush the second and his war on terror, along with his “Patriot Act”, or Biden’s vaccine mandates on all companies who have over 100 employees, the basic instict, left and right, is to use the hard power of authoritarianism rather than trust people as individual, families, free associations, free enterprises, trust communities, and local governments to make the best decisions for themselves. In an environment where everything outside state and federal government has the most power to choose and where these bodies of people and individuals choose what is best for them, the best and smartest ideas triumph over foolishness.

Devolution of corporate and political power from the few to the many is an essential element in any kind of freedom agenda. This must be coupled with caring for the places and people in our country who have been historically and presently left behind and denied equal and just access to the “American dream.” This is a vision of liberty with justice for all and prosperity through a combination of merit and equitable opportunities, regardless of race, ethnicity, income, status, sex, or anything else.

The desire to have a free and pluralistic society of equals where merit is matched with absolutely equal opportunity leads to an instinct that is averse to using the hard power of authoritarianism. Nothing, not even a pandemic that has less than a 1% chance of killing the afflicted, justifies authoritarianism, but for most politicians, every crises is an opportunity for self-aggrandizement or to do favor for cronies who helped them into power.

The Biden administration’s reliance on authoritarianism is becoming intolerable for those who disagree with his neocommunist ideology and his perverted hedonism. But for those who endured Trump’s ideology and who saw his ideas as undermining social justice and fomenting divisions, the same sort of angry opposition was the result. Trump’s rhetoric was hostile, crude, and lacked decorum and was almost always meant to engage in character assassination rather than engaging in ideas.

We are not losing our collective minds over Trump’s rhetoric and, while we reject such behavior in any leader, the truth was that President Trump did not materially assault our core freedoms as most Democrats do, but other Republicans, including Mitch McConnell and Kevin Brady, have no compunction with using authoritarianism. Both, for instance, support the ideas of taxing miles driven and installing a breathalyzer or something like it in every car, all gross violations of our human dignity and human rights.

The attitude from those on the right, which we as Freedomist have long been associated with whether we mean it or want it or not, is for those disadvantaged by our society to “pull themselves up by their own bootstraps”, and to stop whining about racism or social and economic justice or historic wrongs like slavery, native genocide, or prejudice. When being black and living in certain cities is a guarantee of lack of equitable and fair opportunity and of societal prejudice, the right response is to rally around such people and demand restorative justice without violating anyone else’s rights in the process.

The wrong response is to demonize all white people or to use this as a justification for authoritarian measures, like “outlawing”, now via corporate monopolies, “hate speech”, and broadening the definition therof to include any idea not in harmony with the enforcer’s pet ideology. The wrong response is to deny this injustice and to hire mercenary occupier cops who treat the populace like the entire community is one vast slave plantation.

Authoritarianism as we define it is the enforcement or advocacy of strict obedience to corporate or governmental powers/decisions and policies at the expense of personal freedom and self-determination among voluntary bodies of people, usually coming from a lack of concern and respect for the wishes, concerns, needs, or opinions of others.

This definition of authoritarianism is accurate and useful as a plumbline to determine whether an official, corporattion, or any entity, including the so-called “press”, is acting out in an authoritarian manner. We find thereof that aspects of authoritarianism have pervaded our culture and our very discourse to such a degree that one hardly realizes that it is present on their side but readily sees it on the other side.

If your response to something is to want to make it mandatory, whether by corporate or government power, and to show a lack of concern or respect for others who may have different opinions and needs, then you are afflicted with this malady. You are also part of the problem. We are part of the problem!

Freedom is built on virtue, liberty, and independence. Included in virtue is social and economic justice that leaves nobody behind. Included in liberty is equitable opportunity to have a fair and even chance at life. Included in independence is the country-wide mutual assurance and restoration of people and communities who have been left behind so that they can become materially independent.

As Freedomists we want all the freedoms associated with the right in their rhetoric, things like free speech and self-determination, self-preservation and a free market. We think our friends on the left should also embrace these things because without them social and economic justice are just words used to make people angry and get votes without actually helping them.

But as Freedomists we also embrace the virtue of social and economic justice by which nobody is left behind. We embrace equitable opportunity and fairness so everyone has the same even chances based on their true merit of character and skills. We embrace mutual assurance to help people in crisis and restorative justice to lift up people and communities left behind until all can become materially independent.

We urge our friends on the right to see in these things not a leftwing plot to impose comminism, though actual necomm progressives are using rhetoric about these things to move us toward authoritarianism. We urge our friends on the right to realize that if we can address these issues and needs then our entire free and pluralistic society will flourish and freedom will prevail.

For instance, white shaming isn’t restorative justice. Restorative justice is when a disadvantaged person and their community are given a hand and assistance to become prosperous and to take back their power in a way that matches their needs, wishes, and beliefs. The end goal of restorative justice is for every person and every community to have the same platform and opportunity to prosper and succeed and to always enjoy the same human dignity and human rights which leads to human flourishing as everyone else.

We must both purge ourselves of authoritarian thinking and we must discern, expose, confront, and overcome authoritarianism wherever and however we can, and that without partisan favor or prejudice.

Building Globally-distributed islands of freedom

Imagine an international network of hubs and communities where God’s standards of righteousness and justice prevail and therefore everyone within these spaces enjoys freedom and prosperity regardless of what is happening in the society around them.

Freedom is not a wish, it is something we build, preserve, and protect regardless of how anyone else feels and regardless of the majority “opinion” or vote: it is an absolute standard of human dignity, human rights, and human flourishing, based on virtue, liberty, and independence, that nobody, not a dictatorship nor a democratic majority, has any legitimate authority to violate.

Let’s be perfectly and abundantly clear to the point of repetition if need be: we own freedom, as we have defined it, and nobody, no organization or institution, by any means has any legitimate authority to try to prevent us from being free people, from serving and worshipping our God in peace, or from living and proclaiming our own Biblical way of life.

Eschatology does not matter, we own this freedom forever, whether here before the so-called “tribulation”, or during it if we are still around, and certainly after it. Our rights and duties to preserve freedom for ourselves and our progeny are not suspended at any time, even if they are violated through coercion or force.

What we call a “Upo Hub Community” may look like a small village with space set aside for peers of our nation, fellow Christians, other groups who want to cluster together, refugees, and the public. A global network may eventually include thousands of these Upo Hub Communities all over the world in many countries, most all of them built autonomously by local Upadarian Branch Societies and/or their local chapters. Through broadcasting the core Gideon’s call, building model hubs and hub communities, and providing blueprints and frameworks, many groups of people all over the world can autonomously fulfill this vision for themselves.

To build hubs and communities that are islands of freedom we have come to the realization and firm conviction that a high degree of what is called “organic cohesiveness” is needed. Organic cohesiveness comes when some form of a shared identity based on things like shared ideals and standards, shared goals, and a shared way of life, comes from the heart and soul of each person, voluntarily, and allows them all to flow and act as one without very much top-down hierarchical command and control structures.

We have further concluded, after studying forms of organic cohesiveness in the Bible, that some form of nationhood, as in nations of people whose God is the Lord, is both ideal and prescribed by God for human civilization to have such cohesiveness without the need to resort to governance systems that violate our God-given freedom.

Broader “Kingdom alliances” between different, unique, Christian nations and between diverse familial and kinship groups at the local level, all under the banner of our universal shared nationhood, are necessary and will emerge. But these will flow from the emergence of intentional forms of nationhood by which bodies of people can act with very tight unanimity that comes organically from shared ideals, principles, practices, and shared goals, standards, and norms. This is, as we say, “our breakthrough idea.”

There are blessings and provisions which flow to us from God ONLY through His blueprints being followed. God has given us a blueprint for nationhood as a spiritual construct instead of a mere political construct defined by statehood and instead of something rooted in race or blood ancestry. Nations of people whose God is the Lord are uniquely blessed and provided for in a special way and are ordained by God to exist. They are not defined in God’s Word by statehood or by race or blood ancestry.

Even Israel was allowed, some say encouraged, to induct people into their tribes and nation who weren’t of the blood ancestry. And we all know Israel existed as a stateless nation well before the creation of the first commonwealth and then the Kingdom and long after these states disappeared.

Our specific vision for a stateless nation founded on Kingdom essentials and spiritual sovereignty in Christ is itself also a model other bodies of Christians will use and adapt as they see fit to either form new forms of nationhood or to revive and restore or convert whole nations of people through the penetration of the Gospel of the Jesus Christ into all aspects of their society and among all their people.

This concept of intentional nationhood as the foundation for an organic cohesiveness that makes close cooperation possible without resorting to the authoritarian systems being used in many countries and lands is essential to how we intend to build hubs and communities for freedom.

It is a novel concept and innovation, even if we see and claim it has ancient roots in the Bible, that many will tend to struggle to comprehend. Only after the Gideonites, people who answer a Gideon’s call to build the genesis structures of this globally-distributed spiritual nation, have established physical spaces and enterprises based on this form of nationhood will people have an easy time grasping and buying into this vision.

We must therefore insist that to proceed to build these islands of freedom we will need a form of nationhood that people can adopt because they feel called and led to embrace the shared ideals, principles, practices, and mandates of our spiritual nation. We propose that we cannot build things like an intentional extended kinship community or a distributed free city as well as physical hubs and whole hub communities without this shared nationhood animating the core builders and administrators of these structures.

A spiritual nation whose God is the Lord can serve and reach other nations, it can serve the whole Body of Christ, and it can serve the public and whatever lands and countries its members dwell in. The hubs and hub communities as well as kinship communities, distributed cities, and even whole physical cities or “homelands” hosted by various countries, can serve peers of our nation, fellow Christians, and the public and form a pluralistic and free society as an oasis of freedom in an otherwise unfree world.

The legal structures and devices used to allow for these distributed free cities, local kinship communities, hubs, hub communities, and privately owned and managed free cities hosted by different countries will vary from country to country. Many will require multiple interdependent structures and organizations, some being groups of people and some being private individuals or enterprises.

Things like mutual benefit corporations, housing covenants, land trusts, fraternal benefit societies, clubs, corporations, non-profit organizations, and the such will all be utilized to find a legal structure that de facto allows for the operation of these hubs and etc to freely exist as an island of freedom. The ability of the people who are the core of these islands for freedom to cooperate closely in economic and civic matters and to provide their own social, cultural, and other needs and services will be strongly facilitated by their shared nationhood, as in an adopted spiritual nationality.

Shared identity that has Christ as its head and that is based on clearly defined commonly held ideals and etc is essential to this work. We theorize that no freedom-building movement aimed at creating islands of freedom will succeed deeply, on a large scale, and on a long-term basis if this organic cohesiveness is not animating at least its core builders and leaders.

The mere fact God prescribes nationhood in the Bible both now and for eternity tells us how important nationhood is even though the modern religious establishment seems to have zero interest in or understanding of this.

Are there other forms and means of creating this organic cohesiveness? Certainly. But few or any can offer a scalable form of organic cohesiveness that had the closeness and warmth of a familial connection that comes from the heart. Nationhood is to us as essential to building these islands of freedom all over the world as is an understanding of what freedom is and a commitment to a pluralism that invites and serves the greater world to partake of that freedom.

Through adopting a shared form of nationality based on clearly defined ideals and etc large bodies of people with minimal governance structures (some are needed, as Moses himself learned in appointing captains of tens, hundreds, and thousands) can build incredible things that scale up, have great depth, and last for many generations.

An extended kinship community is the restoration and adaptation of the ancient multi-family household and local village made up of a few of these “extended households.”

A hub is a clustered living space with common facilities that serves both residents and non-resident members who live nearby.

A hub community is a larger contiguous community with multiple areas set asifr for diverse groups of people in a more pluralistic arrangement, even if the core builders and managers are from a single spiritual nation.

A distributed free city is an area-wide network of hubs, hub communities, and common facilities distributed here and there throughout an area and within its various locales and communities but that is in fact a self-sustaining and mutually self-reliant community within the larger area. It is as if one took a city in area and distributed its parts within all the communities and cities within an area: it may have small plots in many separate places but it is a unitary city in the eyes of its participants.

A free private city is an entire city hosted by a country that grants it a charter as a special zone wherein its social, cultural, civic, and economic life are governed by its own rules autonomously of the host country’s laws, but with its charter.

Our global network of all these things as well as their legal structures, including an international society, NGOs, and Branch Societies for every country, will be called a virtual commonwealth and will enable cohesive collaboration and mutual support between all these entities which are a part of it.

Where hubs begin is through friendships, new kinship connections made intentionally, and the local gathering of people who have been led to be part of a spiritual nation by adopting its ideals and etc as their own way of life. First the website and then the platform as well as a large book, using a fictional future history to impart its vision, will make it easier for people to connect, gather, collaborate, and build together with a more directed and disciplined focus.

As the message and vision of this spiritual nation and of nationhood in general spreads, people will organically form connections and gather, and then collaborate and cluster, until these islands of freedom naturally emerge all over the world. What is more, as we, the people participating in our specific virtual commonwealth and our spiritual nation, advance, others will “copy” and adapt these ideas until even more such islands of freedom emerge.
