Elon Musk has been recorded basically describing a future in which artificial intelligence replaces humanity, for him any form of consciousness existing is fine even if humanity itself disappears. The path to this “progress” is authoritarianism, using things like universal basic income to keep those who have lost jobs to robots happy. He dreams of replacing carbon based like with artificial silicone based intelligence.
The time to jump off the train men like Musk are guiding is right now, but the path isn’t simple and direct.
Creating parallel, alternative structures that engender material independency from the present ruling class is an essential. Using the organic cohesiveness that shared nationhood, as a spiritual and not a racial or political construct, is going to be vital to making these alternative structures viable and robust without becoming as authoritarian as those they are meant to help people escape from.
Musk’s stance here is essentially authoritarianism, including “universal basic income”, which is basically a system of abject dependency that can only end with you as a human being becoming a mere cost to the ruling class who don’t need your labor but use basic income to keep you from rioting or something. Population control and genocide are the logical extensions of this.
The vision we call “Upadaria” foresaw this world emergence of authoritarianism as a cooperation between monopoly corporations and political power holders, the ruling class. This vision also foresees the solution, which is the intentional creation of alternative structures that engender material independency from the systems used by the ruling class to control people and turn them into modern serfs.
The worldview of Western Civilization in its genesis and foundations may be solid and good, because it is largely a Judeo-Christian worldview rooted in ancient truth and open to great advancement through logic and science. But in order to preserve the essence of the core ideational framework of Western Civilization one must think of constructing the genesis structures of a new civilization. We cannot save the West. This and other extant moribund civilizations will collapse into a totalitarian morass and we cannot change this.
The only way to escape the starkly authoritarian vision men like Musk envision and embrace, because they stand to gain thereby, is to begin now building our own alternative structures that stand outside the influence and control of men like Elon Musk, a man who represents the zeitgeist of a dying civilization. But, we further propose, without the organic cohesiveness of shared nationhood, and an intentional shared nationhood at that, we will struggle to create truly decentralized structures that prevent the emergence of authoritarianism for generations to come.
Through the vision of Upadaria and its frameworks and blueprints we have the tools and ideas needed to promote and nurture the development of these alternative structures for human flourishing. Such a comprehensive and internally cohesive ideational framework coupled with a strong shared identity anyone can adopt is what is needed BEFORE alternative structures can be created.
For many, as they become acquainted with the vision of Upadaria, the choice will be between being reduced to a useless person on basic income, dominated by a ruling class who use AI and robots to produce fantastical wealth for them, and being free and self-sustaining in a way that nurtures your dignity, respects your rights, and engenders your flourishing.
The march of the terrorist group, the Taliban, across Afghanistan, as the US ceded all military and diplomatic ground to the violent group, has put Christian and other religious minorities in the cross-hairs and in danger of being killed for their faith.
Refusing to grant Christians or other religious minorities special P2 status, which prioritizes their evacuation from Afghanistan, the Biden Administration is leaving Christians and others religious minorities to the Taliban, who are known to kill religious minorities in gruesome ways.
“I was told by contacts from various groups working to rescue those still in danger in Afghanistan—who must remain anonymous — that the State Department at least at a certain point was not implementing the lists that they require the organizations to compile — even though they have sent them multiple times,” Faith McDonnell, director of advocacy at Katartismos Global, an Anglican nonprofit ministry group based in Manassas, Virginia, told CNA Wednesday.
“It seems at present as if no one is getting any priority unless they have some sort of special connection inside the airport,” she said.
The anti-Christian bias of most leaders of the Democratic Party and their hostility toward those who practice historic Christian orthodoxy is well known and appears to be informing official US policy. The Obama administration refused Christians from Syria while pushing to import tens of thousands of mostly military aged men whose Islamic views were not vetted for radicalism.
The evacuation from Afghanistan has been chaotic and largely held at the mercy of the terrorists of the Taliban, who were essentially installed by the US government’s actions and inaction and by the legitimizing of the terror group as they advanced through brute force and countless war crimes against and unwilling population. Even as Democrats demonize legitimate dissent at home and push a bill to cement vote fraud into policy, all to ensure their ability to cheat at the polls, they acquiesce to and legitimize the Taliban.
The glaring hostility toward Christians by Democrats is lost on most people who don’t read past the Democratic Corporate Propaganda Machine which currently fancies itself the press and whose rabid partisan hack activists fancy themselves journalists. The “press” are nothing more than agit-prop purveyors working toward a one-party authoritarian regime led by the Democratic Party.
For this reason, most Americans do not know that Democrats are seeking to abandon Christian and other religious minorities in Afghanistan who will be murdered by the Taliban who they installed in power.
Talk about revolution, civil war, and upheaval is so strong that around 60% of Americans think it is possible to likely to occur soon. But while it may be true we need to rethink and reinvent society in a revolutionary manner, to reverse the war on freedom by the corrupt ruling class, the violence, coercion, and alienation that attend most revolutions aren’t worth the achievement of their goals.
If we juxtapose our concept of a peaceful revolution within, based on the UPDR Ideals (Unity in diversity, Popular sovereignty, Democratic equality, and Rule of law) with most ideological revolutions we see on one hand, the Upadarian (UPDRian), peace and harmony with tolerance and love, and, on the other hand, oppression, fear, and upheaval.
The Upadarian (UPDR) Revolution is peaceful change from within through freewill participation, it has little to do with politics beyond demanding politics remove its coercive control from the realms of faith, family, culture, and freewill participatory community.
The Upadarian Revolution envisions the devolution of political and corporate power and wealth from the center and top of society to private and local structures and institutions based mostly or wholly on freewill participation. In that regard, while adherents of this Revolution will gather and connect based on its shared ideals and principles, its effects could extend way beyond its practitioners.
What we call “The Upadarian Revolution” is itself a bold departure from what most people think of when they talk about revolution. Most revolutions tend toward three things: violence, compulsion, and alienation. They are conducted in violence. People who are in lockstep are compelled to adhere to their edicts. Everyone who opposes their underlying ideology is alienated from the group conducting the revolution. But the whole concept of the Upadarian Revolution is itself revolutionary: it does not in any way use violence, no compulsion is applied to anyone, and those who don’t agree with its ideas are not considered alienated from those who do.
If this kind of revolution is successful, there will be large-scale structures and global institutions that meet people’s needs, but everyone who participates in and benefits from this revolution will do so willingly and through informed consent. The chief problem with most ideologies is that they try to create structures and institutions based on coercion and force and they alienate people who don’t agree with their principles or goals. They almost claim that in order to acheive their aims, usually bogeyman fears addressed or utopian promises provided, they must be followed by everyone, without exception.
The effects of the Upadarian Revolution would be unilaterally created alternative sociocultural and socioeconomic structures and institutions, perhaps even whole private distributed cities and safe havens, that reflect shared ideals, principles, and practices based on Christian beliefs, values, and convictions. Beyond participants and adherents, such a revolution would also result in a more formal recognition and accommodation of private alternative forms of sociocultural and socioeconomic autonomy for groups of people who are drawn together through mutual consensus and freewill participation alone.
Too many “revolutions” have no value unless and until they dominate a landscape and create their own political, sociocultural, and socioeconomic hierarchies that dominate the lives of everyone. In other words, they don’t offer much of anything until everyone within a given land is under their rule. But, at the same time, even when they gain dominance, they tend to fail miserably: they don’t succeed in ending the bogeyman fears nor in fulfilling any of their utopian promises.
Our revolution is unilateral and peaceful. It is something one practices, it isn’t something one imposes. Even within unfree and dysfunctional societies, people who start with our four core ideals and use the other principles and practices will tend toward being more free and prosperous than their neighbors, all without needing the permission, much less the submission, of their neighbors. To be able to create positive and beneficial change without worrying about the opinions of others or who wins an election is a truly revolutionary idea whose time is now.
We cannot emphasize enough how our concept of revolution is such a departure from the previous concepts of revolution as a forceful change of rules and rulers over everyone, whether they like it or not. Being jingoistic, divisive, and hateful toward the “other” who doesn’t meet your expectations will not solve our problems in a just manner that honors the laws and nature of God!
People who come to embrace this new way of conducting a revolution within their own lives, relationships, associations, and communities on the basis of freewill participation alone will experience the benefits of such a revolution even if society around them continues its spiritual and moral decline into depraved corruption.
There is no “otherfying” your neighbors, no division or intolerance, and no hatred of others within our concept of revolution as we are seeing emerge on the left and right. If your version of society demands you demonize dissenters or otherfy your neighbors, then it’s more of the same top-down centralized control by the few over the many. We simply aren’t interested in otherying our neighbors or assuming everyone who doesn’t embrace our ideals and the such is somehow not as good as us. We reject the “us versus them” narrative.
One chooses the Upadarian Revolution as a pathway to fulfillment, to freedom and prosperity, and to actualizing God’s scroll of destiny and purpose for their lives, that which is God’s best for their lives. Beyond sharing this and urging others to consider this, the practitioners of our revolution don’t otherfy their neighbors or in any way pursue a path of coercion or control over anyone else.
We don’t need these top-down, coercive revolutions that use violence and that alienate people from each other.
Have you noticed that wildly popular ideas, like terms limits and a balanced budget amendment, are always stopped while wildly unpopular ideas, like property tax and income tax, somehow get through and never go away? Have you ever noticed that the more our leaders tout “democracy” and use fears of any “threat to democracy” the less free you are to own your own property, make a decent living, speak your true mind, or just live your life and choose who to associate with?
We cannot ever have a real democracy. This is not about whether it’s a good idea, it’s just as impractical to say we can have a democracy as it is to mandate that every ride to work on a unicorn. Democracy requires total transparency, absolute free speech, truthfulness, and equitable participation by citizens only in a voting regimen that is 100% fraud-proof. To even have informed consent, we would need a free press that is assiduously dedicated to fairness, truth, and accuracy and that would never cater to partisan interests or corporate sponsors.
We cannot expect a true free press without bias, we cannot prevent a quasi-monopoly of a few press companies and platform owners from bottling up information dissemination and preventing any save their favored voices from being heard. To think otherwise and to somehow “manage for results” is untenable in the long-term, the best you can hope for is market disruptions that tend to shake things up and explode the number of voices before new dominance emerges and new disruptions are needed.
The internet of the early 2000s disrupted the information monopoly of the broadcast news and major newspapers, which was already under assault by talk radio. Today’s platforms and the press outfits favored by them have again created a controlled quasi-monopoly and partisan/biased bottleneck of information that once again renders any legitimate informed consent as to real issues and events impossible.
Having a system that is responsive to the sentiment, needs, and wishes of those it serves is desirable. The alternative to “democracy” isn’t autocracy. Our concern here, however, isn’t with a form of government, it is with the cause of justice through freedom and freedom is, in practical terms, a condition of maximum control over your choices being limited to you and those you freely choose to connect to. A perfectly competitive free market without monopolies and with maximum accountability to standards of equitable and just treatment of all participants is far more like a “democracy” than a system of potentially unfair elections where voters who cannot possible render informed consent decide who will dictate things to everyone else.
The movement away from top-down, centralized control and hierarchical “managing for results” which renders most people little better than children must take new forms outside of pure politics. This movement for real freedom, practical freedom, demands new private structures and institutions that have a more fraternal and/or market-based means of responding to the needs and sentiments of those they serve.
While the government and the monopoly corporations must be compelled on moral grounds to give way and respect as well as serve these new structures and institutions, their inherent right to exist stands outside and above any political law or corporate policy. In other words, private groups of people, within a broad freedom and justice standard, have a right to form their own freewill participatory arrangements as they see fit and all other existing institutions have a moral duty to respect and honor those arrangements and not impede them.
Take our concept of a privately created and run extended kinship community of people whose sociocultural and socioeconomic arrangements reflect shared belie, values, and convictions that are themselves essential to their shared identity. These groups of, say, around 120 adults ought to own the same right to create domiciles, perhaps little villages, for themselves that are regarded in the same legal framework as the private home of a nuclear family
We aren’t for gutting the fair housing law to allow discrimination, the point here is that what we consider family needs to be broadened, if we wish, to encompass what used to be larger extended family groups which by and large did cluster together for maximum mutual support based on shared beliefs, values, and convictions. We would not want whole towns to be made exclusive to one group, our aim being a free and pluralistic society of equals, but the idea an extended kinship community could not cluster together as in days of old is itself designed to atomize individuals and make them more pliable and controllable.
This is just an example of how we need to reshape public policy to devolve control from the corporations and the government to individuals, families, extended families, and local communities. Regardless of form of government or arrangements by which magisterial and civil/civic functions are supplied, even if through a more client-provider relationship, if the individual, the family, kinship communities, and local towns and cities have maximum practical freedom, no system of government can easily become autocratic.
On the other hand, if these “new” freedoms of freewill participation and the basic freedoms are not respected and if people cannot form their own private associations and networks where most of their needs are met through freewill participation, then an autocracy is inevitable. So we say, “democracy, no”, because “democracy”, even a republican form thereof, is practically impossible but “freedom, yes” because there are many ways to promote freedom regardless of the system of government.
It’s almost a distraction to focus so much on a form of government and so little on a real devolution of power and wealth from the mega corporations and centralized governments to individuals, families, extended families, and communities of different types, mostly based on freewill participation.
By Bill Collier- There are many things and people that impact your life, often by way of not fulfilling their role or promise in anything approaching an ideal manner. Parents, governments, spouses, children, and friends can and will fail us or even violate us, they will not be consistent, always keep their word, or even respect our welfare or dignity as human beings. Indeed, if we consider our own lives from this perspective, our own inconsistencies and flaws and how they affect other people in our lives and relationships will drive us into self-condemnatiin, unless of course we are totally lacking in self-awareness.
Faith in God is a very useful antidote to the failures of society, our institutions, people we are connected to us, and ourselves. But sometimes faith in God is harder to realize and other times it becomes a wilful closing of our eyes to reality and an unwillingness to own responsibility for our lives and actions. Faith in God transcends all these things, but it doesn’t replace or negate them: indeed true faith in God should nurture self-awareness and personal moral and material responsibility with an eye toward the truth God can and will enable us to transcend this earthly and temporal life and build the foundation for an eternal existence as kings and priests in His Kingdom.
Passive acceptance of life’s circumstances without taking personal responsibility and owning our own spiritual sovereignty is not faith in God. In this case it is surrender to the temporal using God as an excuse. This is approaching taking the Name of God in vain!
We are destined for an eternal life in the Kingdom of God as members of some form of a nation, there are many nations in the New Creation to come, and as kings and priests who are joint-heirs with Yeshua. If we understand this we realize that the time to begin learning and practicing our spiritual sovereignty as kings and priests unto the Lord, is right now and that part of that is taking personal ownership over our own lives.
Your life has a narrative. This is a storyline that essentially defines the possibilities and limits of your life. If your narrative is that you are a spiritually sovereign king and priest as a joint-heir with Yeshua it presents different possibilities than if your narrative is that people and institutions have abused you and are keeping things from you that they owe you.
It may be, it probably is, that people and institutions owe you something. Perhaps your parents never honored their obligations and abandoned you. Perhaps the justice system failed to punish a criminal who did you wrong or punished you for a mistake in disproportionate to your crime while others far worse got off scott-free.
It takes emotional energy to dwell on these things and every time you do there is pain and suffering added to your heart and soul. Thinking on these things, complaining about them, beyond just getting things off your chest (which you should do), doesn’t bring healing, doesn’t change anything, and leads to more pain. Focusing on these things can become an impediment in your mind to owning your own life, in stewardship to God, and can stop you from taking material control over your situation.
You may feel God let you down, after all doesn’t He control everything? But if you feel this way, and that is perfectly understandable, then you may not be seeing Creation in the proper light or the process of Creation in the proper light. A life free of suffering and full of purpose is the destination of Creation but the process, especially in this temporal life, involves trial and sorting. We don’t like or understand it, but many human beings will reject the path of destiny and life and embark on a road of eternal destruction.
Regardless of your understanding or acceptance of whatever you think God owes you or humanity or whatever you think anyone or any institution owes you, the plain and inescapable fact is two-fold: your fate in this life is largely up to you and your eternal status and standing is your responsibility. If you live your life focused on what God or anyone else owes you, you will always be unhappy and you won’t reach your potential.
You have to live or die. You can choose to die, but your soul will not cease to exist, therefore your ownership over what happens to your soul is yours alone and you do yourself no good debating why the rules and laws of Creation are what they are or why you don’t like them. It is useless energy wasted on useless things that brings no benefit to anyone. The determination to own your life, both in this world and the world to come, and to understand how you should conduct YOURSELF in light of the laws of Creation, whether you like them or not, is the ONLY path to true and eternal success and happiness.
Let’s be clear: inquiring as to why God allows this or that or why certain laws and rules exist in Creation is an intellectual exercise, but if the goal isn’t to understand the truth and apply it usefully, then it is a sad waste of time and energy that will sap us and decrease our chances of happiness and success.
One chief objection is this idea that God creates us, we don’t ask to be born, and that He then demands we love Him or face eternal domination. It’s not that simple, but even if this were true, and trying to convince people it isn’t is hard to impossible, what of it? God actually owns a right no human owns, the right to demand absolute loyalty and obedience. As it says, “will be pot say to the potter, why have you made me?” It is a question we are not ALLOWED to ask and God owes us no reply to.
We cannot judge the Creator by human standards, He lives outside time and space and He literally OWNS US. This is something people struggle with and we recoil at God owning us and having a right to dictate to us just as we might do so for another human being. But it isn’t so, we don’t have a right to demand that God be reduced to a human status and “respect” our equality with Him. We are not equal to God and do now own the same rights He alone owns, including the right of ownership over ourselves.
Even if we own our own life, we own this only in relation to nature and man, not in relation to God. In relation to God, we are owned by Him, we are His Creation, and we have no right to question why He made us or why He governs His Creation as He does.
It is a hard thing to accept but those who desire eternal happiness must come to terms with the nature of God and His Creation. Every ideology and idea that recoils at the absolute and unquestionable sovereignty of God also recoils at the spiritual sovereignty of each individual in relation to nature and man.
Owning your life in relation to man and nature, while acknowledging and accepting God’s ownership over your life as His Creation, despite the fact you did not choose to be born, balancing what you cannot choose with what you must choose, is essential to success and happiness.
God created you and He didn’t need your permission. Your parents likely chose you to be born, again, there was no way to choose your existence. God meets His obligations to you based on the rules HE created, because He is God and not a person. Your parents owe obligations to you based on God’s laws which they cannot alter or defy without denying God, and yet they will and they do fail these laws even if they want to follow them because, as Paul the Apostle said, “the good that I would do, I do not do and the bad I don’t want to do, I do!” Only someone who has raised children understands how deeply and truly we struggle to meet our God-given obligations to our children or how imperfect our attempt is!
What others owe you may be real. You deserve to be treated with equal love and supported by your parents, you deserve to have the same system and standards of justice as everyone else, you deserve to be respected and honored by every institution, you deserve to be given the same chances for success as everyone else.
Often you hear, “people don’t owe you anything”, and we all have said it, but people do owe things to each other, according to the laws of the Universe and common sense! This is not the issue. The issue is that imperfect and flawed human beings won’t perfectly live up to these moral obligations to each other, neither will you! The second issue is: what are you going to do with that information, spend your time angry and upset about what is owed you or focusing on owning your life in relation to your fellow man and nature while accepting God’s ownership over your life as His right?
In relation to God, you are owned by Him. In relation to your fellow man and nature, you are a spiritually sovereign person made in God’s very likeness.
Owning your life means you accept that all or most of your reality moving forward will be determined by you, that you will give yourself what others who owe you don’t, that you will ruthlessly choose your companions based on their fidelity to mutual and positive obligations to each other, and that you will not be focused on what others have or haven’t done to make life harder for yourself. If you don’t do this you will be very unlikely to experience a lot of success or happiness.
Whatever you think God should be or do, whatever others should be or do, you must choose to be and do for yourself and seek arrangements that enable you to begin to claw back control over your circumstances and your choices. It is far more frutiful to be the ideal you desire in others than to feel powerless unless and until they do what you know or think they should do.
Incredible as it sounds, most voters most of the time are likely to vote for some degree of authoritarianism if the person or policy promises benefits based on shallow needs and wants and/or parochial interests. It’s not a left or right, Democrat versus Republican, thing. Regardless of your left or right leanings or your party affiliation, you have been subconsciously indoctrinated through socializing agents and acculturation to not think deeply or according to ideals and principles, which makes you relatively easy to control.
Today we make note it is mostly Democrats who are keen on authoritarianism, but they are not the sole progenitors of authoritarianism! Authoritarianism is basically a monopoly of power and control by a snall hierarchical cadre, often but not always led by a dictator or monarch, without any practical accountability to anyone.
Democrats are not the problem, at times past especially, and probably in the future, Republicans also bend toward this trait. The Republican leadership typically offers reactionary resistance to most anything that addresses poverty or racism or any real social injustice. This belies their claims to be all about freedom and prosperity, because if you deny justice and equality to some, even if just through neglect, you are not truly for freedom and prosperity. Just as the left wears justice and equality as a banner to repaint their authoritarianism, so the right tend to wave the banner of freedom and prosperity, neither side’s leaders actually live up to these branding claims.
Why then do Republicans in primaries and general elections often promote authoritarians like Mitt Romney and the Bushes? Why did the GOP become essentially a sort of fan club for one man, Donald Trump, whose own behavior and some of his views also tend to go against a true freedom and prosperity agenda? (Being for or against Trump isn’t the issue, the issue is that many simply follow Trump and don’t really have any other reason to support Republicans.)
Why do Democratic voters let people control their party who genuinely reject the fundamentals of civil rights whenever it is convenient and/or hurts their opponents? Why do Democratic voters tend to support an abundance of laws and regulations that fail to deliver on their promised benefit while simply making life harder for more people?
The basic question is, why, after one scratches the surface and finds a politician and/or a policy that tends toward authoritarianism do voters in both parties vote for these people and policies? More basically, why do voters vote for authoritarianism?
The average person and the mass mind follow basic animal instinct, they judge every book by its cover and they weigh most every choice on shorter term personal gain of the most basic of needs and wants. The average person and the mass mind live in a shallow way, they don’t dig too deep or look too high, they cannot see very far in the future or very far into the past. The entire premise of marketing is to understand and influence the instinctive aninal brain and to depend on a population not being trained to dig deeper, to know history, or to use logic and critical thinking to ascertain long-term future probabilities.
If you were to explore, learn, understand, and apply the deeper and more sublime ideals and principles of freedom, the balance of virtue, liberty and independence and the core ideals, you would find that you are not very free, that most all your political options tend to oppose these freedom ideals and principles to some degree, and that you can be more free. But most people don’t think in terms of ideals and principles and they don’t consciously or with any discipline evaluate anything on the basis of ideals and principles.
The word “indoctrination” is usually a negative term for people. When schools stop teaching essentials and skills and seek only to indoctrinate children into following a radical leftwing authoritarian ideology, even though it is not presented openly for what it is, we think of indoctrination as something very bad. But indoctrination is just the internalization of doctrine and if the doctrine is good and the indoctrination process is open, transparent, and engaged in freely, it’s just a way to internalize a compass that gives direction to our decisions and behaviors and thus increases our chances for success and happiness.
The insidious and deliberate use of socializing agents of influence and control to subconsciously inculcate us with what are bad doctrines rooted in authoritarianism is the kind of indoctrination we need to guard our hearts and minds against. The use of this form of indoctrination has never been worse or more prevalent in human civilization. On the other hand, we have never had more information and insight into how socialization and acculturation work than we do now, so we can protect ourselves from this like never before.
Most people are not self-indoctrinated to understand freedom ideals and principles, therefore they can be made to support people and policies that undermine their own freedom, do them injustice, create massive inequalities, and reduce prosperity for most people. It is true that justice, equality, and prosperity matter and tend to promote success and happiness, but the foundation of these things is freedom.
To be clear, our concept of freedom is not to be confused with the brand of freedom used to help elect Republicans. Often this is itself rather shallow and limited and doesn’t include freedom from abuse, injustice, and exploitation.
Freedom exists when you are mostly governed by a combination of your own individual choices and the common standards and norms of your own free associations with other people. Justice happens when all laws and policies by ALL institutions equally and consistently protect your freedom and both respect and nurture your human dignity, human rights, and human flourishing without bias or favor, privilege or prejudice. Whatever other needs and wants are promised by any politician or policy, if they tend to shift the governance of your life towards coercive systems like the system set up by monopoly corporations or the state, then they will tend to be a drag on your life, not a benefit.
But most people cannot fathom this because the causal relationship isn’t direct and immediate, it is indirect and more long-term in its effects. An authoritarian policy can bring short-term benefits to some people, usually the targeted voter base of the party proposing such policies, but the longer term effect is that those very same people experience a decrease in freedom and an increase in cost that doesn’t justify the benefits of the policy.
Welfare as constructed and provided has gutted the family unit and rendered whole cities third-world-like nightmares riven with corruption and violence. Few will ever understand that voting for the party that offered these “benefits” is the reason they were raised by a single parent, went to crappy schools, have brutal police who see them as animals, can’t find a good paying job, and can’t find a faithful mate who will love them for life. Most of these people would never even read these words because The Freedomist itself isn’t endorsed by their quisling leaders who sell their communities to the Party for a pittance and then peddle bogeyman fears and utopian promises as a hallucinogenic.
People vote for authoritarianism because they cannot or will not indoctrinate themselves with a freedom ideology that they can internalize to make better choices, including their own daily life and who and what they vote for. Few people will ever agree to and embrace the truth that ideals and principles should guide our choices, including how we vote, or that every choice should basically be subjected to the litmus test of those ideals and principles.
A quote wrongly attributed by H TrevorRoper to Joseph Goebells, Nazi Propaganda Minister, sums up the methodology of all authoritarians:
There was no point in seeking to convert the intellectuals. For intellectuals would never be converted and would anyway always yield to the stronger, and this will always be “the man in the street.” Arguments must therefore be crude, clear and forcible, and appeal to emotions and instincts, not the intellect. Truth was unimportant and entirely subordinate to tactics and psychology.
The only counter to this is to have and hold a deeper freedom ideology based on sound logic and reason and that promotes success and happiness both broadly and for each individual. Yielding to anything, whether force or empty promises to meet shallow wants and needs should never be an option. But history shows that such intellectual and moral courage and discipline is always the exception for individuals and almost never the rule for the masses.
Obtaining and internalizing a freedom ideology isn’t just a good way to make better voting choices, it is a secret formula for personal success and happiness that, if you use it consistently, will tend to make you more free and more prosperous and will tend to protect you from injustice and unequal treatment based on bias, prejudice, and bigotry. If you want justice, you must start with freedom, but to protect freedom, you must uphold and advance justice.
Until we see a new day emerge where most voters follow ideals and principles before promises and shallow parochial interests, we will always see authoritarianism gain some support from most voters.

The mission of the Freedomist is to broadcast a message and rally Americans to restore our great and noble country to its TRUE manifest destiny which includes being the cradle of a new civilization, an empire of liberty, and a free and pluralistic society of equals which leaves nobody behind. We believe that unless Americans unilaterally and voluntarily embrace this manifest destiny, we will be dragged into the cesspool into which a dying Western Civilization is being pulled through moral depravity, corruption, and a growing authoritarianism.
The irony about the spiritual collapse of Western Civilization and the emergence of a new civilization is that the very core values and beliefs that animated Western Civilization are carried now only through the seeds of a new civilization which will build upon those values and ideals to produce something even more glorious. Basically, everyone who is determined to “preserve the Western moral and intellectual tradition” is likely a seed-bearer of an even more advanced civilization.
If you are one who desires to “save Western Civilization” from spiritual apostasy, moral depravity, intellectual incompetence, cultural decay, and socioeconomic and political corruption then your best bet is to explore and understand the ideals, principles, and practices of a new freedom-building civilization whose foundation includes God’s standards of both righteousness and justice. We cannot merely restore some glorious past, we must build on the good and bad learned from the past to go beyond anything that has ever been achieved before in human civilization.
We believe America is good and that those who wish to cancel America, by falsely deconstructing our history and our core ideals through defamation and libel, “evince a design of tyranny.” We are engaged in defeating a war on freedom led by an unholy alliance consisting of the neocommunist wokatariate on the left and the neocom cronytariate on the right, two sides of a corporate/political ruling class whose aims are mostly just defined by a raw and animalistic lust for monopoly power at any price, a price you and I are meant to pay.
This absolute clarity of mission, of narrative, and of the very nature of the fight as well as the path to victory has been lacking. No organization, movement, or publication has emerged that contains all these elements. If they had, you would be wholeheartedly supporting them and participating in their efforts.
The Freedomist is led and managed by Bill Collier, a champion of freedom for all people of every race and ethnicity and of every socioeconomic class and demographic. Collier, our publisher, and his team, who he has gathered to fight the battles that will make YOU more free and prosperous, has a long track-record of success. Together, these experts, professionals, and leaders have the knowledge, skills, experience, and track record needed to both formulate and carry out a plan that will fundamentally change the nature of how we fight the freedom takers.
At present our digital publication is mostly about providing the intellectual backing and inspiration needed to fight for and build freedom in your life. We will be adding the following features as we gain backing:
1. Daily tickler that analyzes press coverage- this is way beyond criticism of the media and its bias or lack of professionalism, it is an analysis of their intentions and aims through their false claims and lies and the narrative they are promoting and a clear annunciation of the actual truth (we treat these “journalists” as political partisans who are as open to transparency research as any political candidate or public figure)
2. Legislative calendar- we will track major issues down to the lowest levels and all Federal legislative activities in a neat and tidy summary that gives you actionable intelligence on the use of legislation both for and against the cause of freedom
3. Community calendar- we think of freedom builders as a community and will cover events and activities of interest to freedom builders, you will find lots of ways to get engaged and support freedom and not just through the American Freedomist Network
4. Intelligence report on the fight for freedom- this is written by former intelligence experts and analysts and views the war on freedom by the authoritarian ruling class through the lens of a geopolitical conflict, with clinical, dispassionate, and objective rewriting and analysis you can take to the bank as reliable and useful
Beyond this, our vision includes a national digital publication that informs and empowers freedom builders, 50 State Freedomists run as chapters/franchises of the American Freedomist Network, a nationwide network of local freedom building activists who connect and collaborate in their own neighborhoods to transform their communities into Freedom Havens, and a nationwide network of people-centered free press operations that defeat the narrative of the partisan corporate press.
Yes, we intend to “win elections”, especially local ones, for “Freedomist” candidates, but our foundation and our core efforts are based on gathering, connecting, supporting, and mobilizing a virtual-to-local digital “army” of freedom building activists who materially support one another as much as possible. Our focus is on collaboration that supports many efforts, mutual self-reliance and material independency, preparedness for emergencies and crisis through voluntary mutual assurance, information truth and dissemination outside the monopoly platforms, and creating local Freedom Havens through civic activism that is non-partisan.
What you see with this site is only the beginning. We have much more planned and, with your support, we can build a team of skilled professionals to facilitate a massive nationwide network of local freedom builders until most US Counties and Congressional Districts are dominated by “Freedomists” and not the freedom takers.
Becoming a subscriber will help us do things like the following:
1. Broadcast our message until this website has over 5 million visitors per month and at least 5,000 visitors per every US Congressional District and the District of Columbia (we have around 160,000 or more monthly visitors now)
2. Build our existing email list of over 584,000 to include at least 500 Freedomist Subscribers and activists as well as at least 2,5000 free email subscribers per each US Congressional District to build the largest and most in-depth virtual-to-local digital army in US history
3. Hire a staff of 30 or so top professionals and 20 or more writers and content producers to produce the most comprehensive news intelligence source for freedom builders ever launched in this country (we have 4 key staff)
4. Promote the first Freedom Havens in 5-10 areas, by empowering and supporting local “chapter groups” of the Freedomist, which people can visit and emulate until most US Counties are Freedom Havens
5. Reach at least 20 million Americans per month with a pro-freedom message that breaks through the biased corporate press propaganda and the partisan labels (today our network can reach over a million people per day and around 2-3 million per month)
It isn’t just about subscribing for content. We need to raise around $450,000 per month to conduct this program, which would result in fulfilling these aims within 2 years or less from the time we achieved this level of backing.
At present, we have raised around $25,000/month through direct and indirect sponsorships and subscriptions, mostly through sponsorships. It is our strong conviction that if we have the support of 120,000 backers, and not just a few major sponsors or advertisers to our network, that we will be stronger and less easily deplatformed or canceled.
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT NOW MORE THAN EVER! Time is running out for freedom in this land, the freedom takers are marching Taliban-like through our institutions and all their would-be opponents are as feckless as the Afghanistan government! Join is and become a Freedomist, a patriot who loves freeedom and works toward a free and pluralistic society of equals for ALL Americans!
Simply go over to our SUBSCRIPTION PAGE and select an option, from free to $14.95/month, and become a Freedomist today! Once you do, invite your friends and family to join you!
Sponsors are always sought and welcome! You can be a visible sponsor and show up our main site or you can sponsor our network, either way you could gain 5,000 to 100,000 visitors per week to your website. We do plan a Freedomist Business and Resource Directory for $125/month that includes basic WordPress webhosting.

The Upadaria Project is envisioned as a multi-faceted effort to build freedom not only to enable a strong witness and influence for Jesus to the nations but for advancing human dignity, human rights, and human flourishing for all people, all over the world. The project itself is focused on a web platform with a virtual-to-local approach to making empowering connections between fellow eCitizens, building physical hubs that act as administrative, training, and service/ministry support centers and places of refuge, and various organizational structures such as an international Christian society and NGO as well as branch societies and other organizations.
Through this project we envision empowering millions of Christians to both live in freedom and be an effective witness to the world around them. We envision a restoration of family and kinship within a freewill community of mutual trust and support as an alternative to top-down politically controlled hierarchies. We envision clustered housing arrangements that resemble the ancient extended multi-family household community than the atomized life of this culture. We envision persecuted Christians having many safe-havens spread all over the world where they can find sanctuary. We envision country-specific and international organizations with legal standing as 21st century alternative “sovereignties” (like an NGO) to advocate for and protect the rights and welfare of all Upadarians and Christians in general.
The vision of this global project would result in a new model for sharing the Gospel and for promoting freedom in general that is both more rooted in ancient and sacred truth and yet also innovative and thoroughly modern. The modalities of global communications and commerce and local and individual self-sustainability using the latest technology will allow this project to take the smallest root in many places and then grow organically from there.
All over the world, using 17 Protocols and the connections and support of our platform, people will be able to create Upo Hubs and other familial/community structures for mutual self-reliance that will be a total game changer for many who participate. This distributed, decentralized, and autonomous model based on a shared nationhood founded upon ideals and principles, will allow the Upadaria project to blossom among people in every country on this planet, potentially, and to develop and grow without top-down “management” or control.
Upadaria is both a modern innovation on the concepts of nationhood and a restoration of the spirit of lost ancient institutions, especially the extended multi-family household community and kinship groups that are autonomous of the surrounding culture.
While our work has begun and will grow as we go, our mid-term aims include gathering and mobilizing a core of backers and participants who, together, fund a $10 million per year progam that will sow the initial seeds for the web 3.0 platform, the first model Upo Hubs, and the first genesis organizational structures. We are building a core of experts and proven leaders who have accomplished great things in their fields to ensure a workable and successful plan going forward.
The activation of this project will give you both a virtual home to flourish within and find real support, collaboration, and networking, but it will also, as it grows, guarantee you a place of sanctuary and safety during any time of crisis or persecution. Through its legal structures, your own individual rights as a Christian will have real advocacy and support and through mutual assurance, you will gain help in times of lack and trial.
We are basically purpose-building the intentional infrastructure for our own sociocultural and socioeconomic autonomy that will both free us from the influence and control of the world but also enable us to become far more effective as an influence and witness for Jesus to the world. Our core breakthrough idea is a concept and execution of nationhood that has nothing to do with race or political states but that is essential for the kind of organic cohesiveness needed to both create a unified effort and respect and promote individual autonomy and fulfillment without a top-down controlling hierarchy.
While our various efforts, structures, and organizations may be open to a broad diversity of people, our core builders and leaders will come from the ranks of Christians who have adopted this spiritual nationality by embracing our core ideals, principles, and practices as well as our shared mandates, in using our 17 Protocols. Creating a form of nationhood based on ideas and spiritual truths as well as shared goals and purposes, is a massive departure from race-based nationalism or political nationalism.
Anyone in the world who loves Jesus and wishes to reach the nations in His Name can opt to become a peer of our spiritual nation by adopting the 17 Protocols of our spiritual nationhood into their own way of life, as God leads and provides. Whenever two or more people connect and collaborate and are guided by the 17 Protocols of Upadaria, they autonomously build “Upadaria”, as a Kingdom Nation within the nations, right where they live and without a top-down controlling hierarchy to dictate everything to them.
From among such people we hope to draw backers, people who subscribe to our platform and actively participate in our activities, to begin to build the genesis structures of our new and globally distributed spiritual nation and its freedom-building efforts around the world.
Has the totalitarian rainbow authoritarianism flag replaced the American flag in the US Military?
The US Military have gone woke. The alt-gendered rainbow authoritarianism that demands approval and applause, and pressures you to participate to prove your wokeness, and all the deconstructionist mythology aimed at white-shaming and American-bashing have become the path to advancement for higher rank. In short, our Military is controlled now by a woke cesspool of would-be tyrants, petty-minded higher ranks whose main passion isn’t freedom and warfighting but, rather, pronoun usage and rainbow flags.
The same general Milley who wants to understand “white rage” and pushes the neocommunist authoritarianism of so-called “Critical Race Theory ” and who hates everyone who rejects this totalitarian ideology can’t even figure out why and how the Afghan government collapsed or why withdrawing air and intelligence support to the Afghan military might have had something to do with it. Our military is woke and now it is being broke, its leadership is too focused on “diversity training” designed to force ideological heterodoxy to actually fulfill their oath or to be effective at warfighting.
Just how the rank and file feel about all this, being encumbered with constant leftwing totalitarian indoctrination instead of training to fight or being encouraged to love and respect this country and our Constitution, is not readily known. One suspects they are very much upset about this, but too afraid to speak out, but oje fears the new generation of military men and women may in fact be just as woke and morally/intellectually broke as their officers.
A real divide between the military and the people, where the military has become an adjunct of the totalitarian aims of the Democratic Party and their GOP crony collaborators, is dangerous and unfortunate, if it happens. There is no reason to believe this is happening or that our fine young men and women in uniform aren’t as repulsed by this alt-gendered, rainbow fascist agit-prop as most other decent and thinking human beings.
What is happening however can only either lead to severe morale problems as the anger at the general/flag level officer corps grows, because officers who aren’t woke don’t advance in rank, or, worse, the purging of the ranks of all save fellow woke neocommunist authoritarians.
What we are seeing in Afghanistan is that our woke-led armed forces, at the flag level, cannot plan or execute anything better than the debacle unfolding in Afghanistan. It is a disgrace on a mammoth scale, it has left thousands of Americans and our friends in Afghanistan is a Taliban kill zone. General Millie is too busy hunting for white supremacists, fighting climate change, and shoving his rainbow flag down the throat of rank and file to be able to plan or lead any operation.
None of this totalitarian agit prop belongs in the military. It will break its warfighting capability, it will possibly make it an arm of the authoritarian Democratic Party, and it will sunder the sacred bond between our armed forces and the people. What the Democratic Party leaders are doing to the Military is a gross miscarriage of justice and does violence to the very oath every member of the military takes.
