The central issue in the Virginia Governors Race that will be settled in less than a week is emerging to become a fight over the DNC effort to force their CRT-type ideological value system on American children in public schools.
The symbolic moment of that issue might yet be defined as the choice by DNC candidate and Clinton operative and former DNC chair, as well as former Virginia Governor, Terry McAuliffe to openly declare that parents have no rights in determining how to educate their children. The chilling message fell upon Virginia parents with existential devastation, the DNC was making it nakedly clear that your kids were theres, and their values will be your kids’ values, and if you resist, the Department of Justice will arrest you for being terrorists.
The question is, will this chilling message, this epic political self-wound by the uncharismatic McAuliffe, make it to the cheap seats, so to speak, where life is seen almost purely through the DNC machine’s screens? If it does, we expect this race to end with a 52-48 victory for Glenn Youngkin, a victory that would most likely be reflected as 56-44 if the race were fully transparent and not loaded, most likely, with spam mail-in ballots, and whatever else the DNC can throw into their favor should the race be close enough to steal.
Under the CRT-type guidelines, what I wrote above will one day get me arrested, as race and gender rights override Bills of Rights, especially of those in the races and genders and values and beliefs that fall outside of the fine-line parameter of proper humaning as defined by the DNC. Rule of priest-king versus Rule of law is the real battle that is taking place, not just in Virginia, but across this country.
Here is a link to a video where McAuliffe reiterates the essential point that education should be left to the educators:
News4’s Northern Bureau Chief Julie Carey and political analyst Bob Holsworth discuss Terry McAuliffe’s position on parents’ involvement in what kids learn in the classroom.
Here is the writing of one of these education experts that wish to take moral authority over the minds of your children, who seems more concerned with professional respect for educators over the agency and sovereignty of parents:
“It’s absurd for parents to tell teachers what to teach,” said Diane Ravitch, education historian and advocate for public schools. “ … The result would be chaos, and in most cases would be parents telling teachers to teach the way they were taught decades earlier.” What’s more, she said, “It thoroughly discredits the teacher’s professionalism and expertise,” adding: “I can’t think of a more effective way to demoralize teachers and drive them out of the classroom.”
DOJ DNC operative Garland decided to double down on the McAuliffe gaffe and declared that the DOJ would target parents and call them terrorists if they defied the school boards pushing the CRT-like agenda on our children, using our taxpayer dollars to do it.
Now, in 2009, when the Tea Party took off, the issue that had so many Americans energized was the opposition to Obamacare. In 2021, the issue is education. The one good thing about the awful, terrible pandemic is that parents had the time to burrow into their children’s schooling, and many were horrified about what they saw.
It turns out that a new so-called anti-racism and gender equity focus wasn’t so popular after all.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: –poison, this will tear this country apart if it becomes a part of our fabric.

A Republican representative drove home the chilling point of a DOJ threatening parents for standing up to anti-American agendas that defy our Rule of Law Bill of Rights contract.
We live in bizarre and profoundly disturbing times where our nation is run by an administration who empowers drug cartels and human traffickers to commit horrific crimes against Americans.
This is the same administration currently mobilizing the FBI to investigate and intimidate concerned parents speaking out about education in taxpayer funded schools.
From my first days as a local elected official, I have stood with the men and women of law enforcement even as other elected officials cynically, sanctimoniously, and wrongly threw them under the bus. But now, as with all actions in the Biden administration, we are seeing yet another federal agency weaponized against its own citizenry. Such an exercise deserves to be opposed.
To be clear, any credible threats and acts of violence should be investigated and prosecuted. With more than 14 years serving as an elected…
Virginia is a bellweather, not the end or the beginning, or the beginning of the end, or the end of the beginning. The results need not crystalize the final outcome as we fight to preserve the Bill of Rights in our American lands, nor would victory end our struggle or assure our victory.
Even just finding who the “we” is might not be settled by the Virginia election, as it must surely be broader than Conservatves and Republicans. It must reach the unpolitical and galvanize them to act. If it fails to do this, Mcauliffe will win. If he wins by less than four, you can bet that election is in doubt. If he wins by more than four, he won the election for real.
Youngkin will have to win by more than four points to win the election of record.
We are predicting a 60 percent chance of a Youngkin win, and are settling on a 53-47 final record of election, followed by an intense DNC barrage across the socio-cultural production that will declare the victory a mere blip, an anomoly, with some corporations declaring concerns that Virginia was about to become racist and dangerous for all disenfranchised peoples in the land.
The song’s not as effective as it once was, however, and socio-cultural authority is waning, even as the DNC only increases its near-monopolistic grip on the screens that reflect these worlds.
In the Virginia Governor’s Race that’s set to be settled in less than a week, the once strongly positioned DNC nominee and former Governor, Terry McAuliffe has seen his lead evaporate to the point of being no more, as the last set of polls before the election show a virtual dead-heat between the two with Republican Nominee Glenn Youngkin surging among independents and parents.
Mcauliffe is banking on voters not buying the notion that giving complete authority to the state to determine the values your kids are coercively taught is the right approach to build back better. Youngkin is banking on parents fundamentally wishing to preserve their American-standard right to raise their kids according to values of their choosing.
The DNC media coverage has largely portrayed Youngkin as the usual ‘atavistic’ conservative, dog whistling racism and seeking to end legal gay marriage. Youngkin, for the record, did not claim to be for making gay marriage illegal, he only claimed he did not support gay marraige from a faith perspective. Youngkin seems to be a consistent Bill of Rights framed candidate, so the assault by the DNC is really fundamentally about continuing to create a culture where merely disapproving of homsexuality is enough to get you ‘cancelled,’ market, social, and state removed from vital discourse and access to real power.
The tactic might work among the young, but among parents, at this point, the fear of the rights of the LGBTQ being lost might not affect parents after the Mccauliffe gufaw where he appeared to be justifying state control of the raising of children, and then appeared to double down. For the record, we at the Freedomist doubt significantly that Youngkin has any kind of agenda to roll back the rights of the LGBTQ, he just might not be inclined to continue to extend them, or to introduce sexuality to children at anywhere near the young ages the DNC is currently executing even as we speak.
The race itself is being portrayed as a bellweather for things to come, specifically and immediately what might get done in the US Congress that aligns with the DNC-CRT agenda. It is also to be considered a bellweather of what might follow in the Midterm US House and Senate Elections. It need not be the case, but when the DNC controls the means of cultural and social production, a McAuliffe win will be used as a social proof bludgeon to embolden the DOJ, the amplify the Cultural Production push of CRT, and to vilify an increasing list of persons for opposing an increasing list of DNC policies to save humanity from itself.
Perception is reality, so, it is more than likely that the reads are correct. The question is this, will a Bill of Rights people find themselves in time to resist the DNC machine in Virginia? Will Independents continue to swing for Glenn despite the massive DNC “He RaYCiSt, hE BIgoT!” songs now being sung in schools, newsrooms, radio shows, youtube videos, facebook posts, twitter tweets, and newsapers across the state?
Will fear for their children lead them to overcome the effective hate machine of the DNC that turns the need for tolerance in a pluralistic diverse Bill of Rights land into a mandatory embracing and fetishization of all that defy any aspect of the America that has been since our inception?
Unfortunately, in our hyper now world, the state of Virginia has the power to decide the next shift in power in DC, where the ‘debates’ are about the continued preservation of a Rule of Law Democratic Republic in a Bill of Rights contstraint or the adoption of a new fluid morality that bears its legitimacy from the status of the ones declaring the new moral codes?
Americans might not fully recognize it, let’s pray Virginia does and stops the red tide now crushing our lands of our American Bill of Rights spirit where all can share value as assumed equals without ever having to surrender their agency, their preference, to state coercion, as the DNC believes we humans require to become the types of humans this neo-socio-fascistic ideology REQUIRES.
A new VCU poll has 41 percent of likely voters supporting Democrat Terry McAuliffe and 38 percent supporting Republican Glenn Youngkin, a substantial tightening of the race since last month when McAuliffe led 43 percent to 34 percent among likely voters.
With only one week left until the election and the gubernatorial race in a dead heat, independent and discontent voters might likely decide who will be the next governor of Virginia.
Independent voters have increasingly identified with Youngkin (37 percent) rather than McAuliffe (31 percent), a six-point increase for Youngkin and a six-point decrease for McAuliffe since September.
While polling for Virginia’s gubernatorial race between former Democratic Gov. Terry McAuliffe and Republican challenger Glenn Youngkin has shown a virtual tie for some time now, a new poll from Christopher Newport University released Wednesdayshows Democrats’ leads in the lieutenant governor and attorney general races have shrunk to similar margins.
The poll was based on 944 interviews of registered Virginia voters from October 17-25, according to CNU’s Wason Center for Civic Leadership. CNU says Democrat Hala Ayala has a 1-point lead in polling in the lieutenant governor’s race over Republican Winsome Sears, 49% to 48%, with a margin of error of +/- 3.5%.
Incumbent Democratic Attorney General Mark Herring is up on Republican Jason Miyares 48% to 47%.
The Virginia governor’s race, a dead heat between Terry McAuliffe and Glenn Youngkin, is being regarded as a bellwether for the 2022 midterms, with Democrats trying to turn it into a referendum on former President Donald Trump and Republicans trying to turn it into a referendum on current President Joe Biden. But the contest may also be a different kind of preview of 2022 and 2024: The role poll watchers, seemingly inspired by Trump’s election fraud lies, will play in upcoming cycles.
As the Washington Postreported Wednesday, a surge of GOP election observers are flooding the Virginia gubernatorial race, apparently driven by the party’s push to ensure the system’s “integrity”—the euphemism allies of the former president have used to enact voter suppression laws and sow distrust in the democratic process. The 2020 election was not “rigged,” as Trump continues to claim, and even Youngkin, a MAGA Republican, has publicly acknowledged that Biden was legitimately…
I wrote for Politico today on what the lessons would be if Youngkin pulls it out in Virginia:
Youngkin victory . . . would be significant. It wouldn’t just send tremors of fear through Democrats nationally, presumably making the party’s agenda that much more difficult to get through Congress; it would point to a viable path ahead for the GOP in swing areas, one that keeps on board the Trump base while regaining lost ground with independents and suburbanites.
To be sure, no race is completely replicable, and candidate quality matters. Youngkin is hardly a once-in-a generation political talent, but he’s proved an adept and winsome campaigner. On the other hand, McAuliffe is one of the most irrepressible…
“Whenever something happens in Washington, whether it’s a Republican or Democratic administration, voters here tend to react to that and see that as a reflection of how their party is doing,” Mel Leonor, politics reporter for the Richmond Times-Dispatch, says.
Today, On Point: We look at Virginia’s governor’s race and what it says about the political parties – and where the country’s heading.
Whether Democrats pass President Joe Biden’s economic agenda won’t have an impact on the current Virginia governor’s race, but the outcome will say a lot about next year’s midterm elections with control of Congress in the balance, Republican pollster and strategist Frank Luntz said.
Speaking on Bloomberg Television’s “Balance of Power with David Westin” on Wednesday, Luntz was doubtful that Democrat Terry McAuliffe would get a boost in his race with Republican Glenn Youngkin if Congress passes Biden’s plan before Tuesday’s election. The White House is stepping up pressure on congressional Democrats to finalize at least the framework for a deal this week.
By Ralph Benko- The race for governor of Virginia between Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Republican Glenn Youngkin is considered by many political observers a referendum on President Biden’s performance in office. Let’s dig into that.
But first, carry me back to Old Virginny! McAuliffe’s last tenure as governor left a weak record of economic growth. McAuliffe’s Virginia ranked well below the US national average. It was far, far below the peaks of prosperity we enjoyed under Reagan and Clinton.
McAuliffe’s campaign rhetoric now promises prosperity. His record in office really doesn’t support that.
Meanwhile, Youngkin hasn’t held elective office but has considerable experience as a businessman. This included 2+ years as co-CEO of the Carlyle Group, in charge of its real estate, energy, infrastructure businesses, and investment solutions businesses.
Youngkin can be presumed to be business friendly. Wouldn’t be a bad thing in uncertain economic times.
Worse, both the US and Virginia continued to dramatically underperform the robust economic growth rates achieved under Reagan, where the US economy mostly grew at more than double that, a 3.5% rate. Or under Clinton, who saw 4% economic growth annually and record job creation.
Meanwhile, now the US economy is experiencing the highest inflation in 30 years. What’s up with that? Smells like Nixon/Ford/Carter!
Joe Biden campaigned as a capitalist and had the track record to back it up. As a US Senator he voted for both Reagan income tax rate cuts, dropping the top rate from 70% to 28% in two stages. Sen. Biden voted for the Clinton capital gains tax cut, too, from 28% to 20%.
These tax cuts are widely seen as contributing to the sizzling economic growth of the Reagan and Carter eras. That was then.
This is now. Upon election Biden surprisingly pivoted to support the “eat the rich” agenda of self-identified socialist Bernie Sanders and the House Progressive Caucus. Biden, who seems to have forgotten not to “kill the goose that lays the golden eggs,” signed off on multi-trillion-dollar federal tax hikes and spending increases.
President Biden thereby began to look a lot more like the feckless Jimmy Carter than the prosperity-inducing Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton.
McAuliffe has, in the words of Politico “repeatedly tried to distance himself from Biden and the Democratic Congress.” That said, American politics is nothing if not tribal.
If McAuliffe gets elected, he surely will toe the Democratic party line. And we voters know it.
Moreover, the Virginia governor’s race is widely seen by political analysts and politicians as a bellwether. Thus, Virginia voters have an opportunity to send a message to the president and to the Congress by rejecting the Democratic nominee.
Voters to Washington! Turn back from your tax-hiking, IRS doubling (adding 87,000 new IRS personnel) and extravagant spending spree! Turn back while there’s still time!
If McAuliffe loses, many federal legislators from red and purple states will think twice about succumbing to the pressure of their party’s left-wing activists. They will become much bolder, like Sens. Manchin (D-VW) and Sinema (D-AZ), in opposing tax hikes and promiscuous borrowing to provide lavish new welfare benefits. A good thing!
American politics is a “tale of two cities.” In the 2020 election cycle the political class, including most of the mainstream media, was all in for the leftmost candidates like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. Then, the voters had their ups!
The actual voters nominated for president the candidate with the most conservative track record and rhetoric in the Democratic field. Joe Biden then crusaded as a capitalist to win the general election.
All the while, elite progressives were licking their chops anticipating an electoral blue wave giving them not just a majority but dominance in the federal legislature. And the progs expected to win the states.
We voters rebuffed them. The Dems won the slimmest of majorities in the House and Senate.
They were thwarted in the states. The progressive DailyKos bemoaned the Democrats’ failure to take over any state legislatures. “Election night delivered nothing short of an unmitigated catastrophe for Democrats….”
Upon election, how quickly our Democratic elected officials forgot our message! Time to remind our politicians of the wisdom of the motto of the late South Carolina Congressman R. L. Mendel Rivers: “There’s no education in the second kick of a mule.”
On November 2nd let’s send Washington that second kick: a reminder that we, the voters, want lower taxes, less spending, and better jobs! Sending Glenn Youngkin to Richmond would send Washington exactly that message.
You are not woke if you think people should be punished for stating things you don’t agree with or denying the veracity of your claims. If you think anyone who thinks the marital household of a mom and dad and their own children is far superior to any other form of marriage/family then you are not woke. If your rights must include boycotting, shaming, shunning, canceling, or punishing people who will never agree with your alt-gendered theories, then you are not woke.
Woke is the attainment of open-mindedness, independence, tolerance, and a passion for seeing every human being be free and prosperous. It is a passion for equal treatment and opportunity that leaves nobody behind who is willing to pursue success and happiness through hard work or anyone who is disabled and unable to work hard. Woke seeks peace and liberty without favor or discrimination for every single human being.
Woke knows that the end never justifies the means. It knows that using authoritarianism and hatred to advance even social justice is archaic and regressive. Woke knows that forcing anyone to parrot your theories and ideas is really just totalitarian backwardness.
All you parrots invoking all the very ideas being pushed by every institution, major corporation, and media establishment think you are edgy and progressive and you imagine you are somehow an underdog coming against an evil establishment. You are the establishment and your flaky, famtastical alt-gendered ideas are merely part of an effort to destroy our social fabric and transform our country into an authoritarian one-party regime. You are digging the grave of your own liberty and prosperity and you are foreclosing your own future.
There are real problems of inequality and injustice which the original spirit and intent of the US Bill of Rights can address and solve if we, finally, seek their fulfillment en toto for all human beings in this land. But the phony wokatariate are attacking these things and seeking a form of totalitarian top-down control which treats anyone who remains faithful to millenia of useful and beneficial sociocultural constructs as a domestic terrorist. You are the baddies!
The AUTHORITARIAN OVERREACH of lockdowns and mandates is NOT justified on the basis of the true nature of this pandemic. These lockdowns have enriched the ruling class and made us all serfs. The great reset has occurred and while you pursue alt-gendered faux wokatariate propaganda and bogeyman fears, your very liberty and livelihood are being buried. It is no coincidence the alt-gendered wokists are also passionate advocates for lockdowns and mandates and push the establishment’s narrative that the unvaccinated are a grave threat, as in “this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated.”
We who are woke are not wedded to an unchangeable past nor obsessed with a fantastical, utopian future. We are woke to the real state of affairs, the real power dynamic, and to the need to see the high-water mark of freedom and happiness that was obtained for some Americans now be fulfilled for all Americans.
We know that reverting to the archaic totalitarian ideas of the 20th century, or ancient imperialism, in the name of justice or anything else is not “woke” and all the phony wokatarians who parrot these orchestrated top-down ideas are not woke, they are MINIONS AND SERFS on a corpostate plantation.
We are the true woke. We may call ourselves liberal or conservative, we may be Democrats or Republicans, or Independents, but we are wed to the notion that we cannot advance the equal achievement of freedom and prosperity for all by reverting to archaic authoritarianism.
We know that exploring new ideas and technology doesn’t ipso facto demand we discard or dishonor the past, even though it is imperfect and the advancement of the spirit and intent of our liberty has been inconsistent and uneven, and not shared fairly and justly with all. We know that if our ideas demand punishing those who reject them, even of that punishing is unofficial and limited to just shunning people for wrongspeak, then our ideas are bad ideas.
To be woke doesn’t equate to parroting all the nonsense about an alt-gendered atomized future sans the social fabric of marital households and kinship-based communities founded upon faith and shared values through freewill participation alone. To be woke is to recongize that even though we believe the marital household and kinship-based communities founded on faith and shared convictions are the future of human civilization, this must be acheived through freewill participation alone and cannot include punishing or shaming anyone who doesn’t agree.
The advance of human civilization looks like absolute personal, familial, kinship, and local autonomy so that the socioeconomic and sociocultural norms and standards which most govern your life are based on freewill participation with people and associations of your own choosing.
The revelation that top-down hierarchical systems of command and control are always bad and should always be avoided is the true heart of being woke, just as an embracing of all human beings as dignified and free persons deserving of respect and humane treatment, along with equality of liberty, opportunities, and treatment is also essential to being truly woke.
The faux wokatariate isn’t truly woke. It’s ideas and, more importantly, both its practices and its leaders, are simply pushing archaic barbarism as a means of creating an authoritarian state as the god of every human being. Many earnest people parroting these party lines, while sincerely claiming independence of thought, have no idea how they have become deconstructed into atomized alt-gendered or non-gendered, but overly sexualized, serfs and pawns slaving away on the corpostate plantation.
You are not woke. You are fast alsleep in a matrix. You are being spoon-fed “edgy” notions about sexuality and gender, “institutional racism” (a claim made by EVERY major institution to justify authoritarian measures), and other bogeyman fears, to appeal to your own ego and desire to find purpose. Meanwhile, you are helping to build the architecture of tyranny which, one day, will turn on you and clap you in chains!
Withdraw, regroup, and rally! This is how, according to Arnold Toynbee, a new civilization emerges from within an old civilization.
Ironically, the pioneers of the new civilization are usually a fraction of a small minority of people who still admire the original spirit and ideal of the old civilization. These pioneers withdraw and firm their own inner, alternative, and parallel communities that seek as much as they can as much material independency as possible from the structures of the old and dying civilization.
Put more simply, often the new civilization’s initial champions are actually trying to save the old civilization. They are withdrawing inwardly from the now alien sociocultural and socioeconomic system that, to them, is almost like a foreign occupation. The present system, to them, is a result of some form of hostile subversion of their civilization and their efforts are aimed at preserving the heart and soul of their civilization’s best features and ideal.
One who studies historiology, the inner and cyclical logic of human history on the rise and fall of countries, national peoples, and civilizations, realizes that we live in an age where all the world’s major civilizations, especially the West, are entering a stage of decline. This stage is the era of moral and spiritual depravity, confusion about fundamental facts of human existence, destruction of the social fabric provided by things like faith and family, and, as this proceeds and the population are dumbed down, the rise of a Caesar.
Many, including those who seek to save the old civilization, focus on the decline and fall as it is emergent. The truly awakened and enlivened focus instead on that which must follow, knowing that the new will build upon the best elements of the old but also transcend that old civilization’s highest achievements.
We live in the a time of decline and fall on one hand and genesis to new dawn on the other hand. Most people are only tangentially aware of the decline and fall, rather fewer are even vaguely aware of the new dawn. But the princely families, and please don’t take this analogy too literally, of the new kingdoms which will exist after the new civilization emerges will arise mostly from the noble few who both see and act on the vision of a new dawn.
If you want to be among the princely families, if you want to secure noble standing for your progeny (both biological and spiritual), then you need to be among the vanguard of people who adopt the new civilization in its ideals and principles. This is the urgent call of the hour: to choose and adopt the new paradigm and participate in building the alt parallel structures of the new civilization.
It is admirable people are trying to save the West and their ongoing work is still essential insofar as it actually sowes the seeds of the new civilization.
For us Upadarians, saving the West is not so much our focus as preserving the best elements and ideas through their inspiration for the new civilization, whose ideals and principles will go further, in a positive way, then the high-water mark of the old civilization.
Loss of economic opportunity, higher prices, lack of supplies, woke cancel culture depravity, being canceled, and increasing authoritarianism are SYMPTOMS of the collapse of culture and the replacement of the organic social fabric with a top-down hierarchical system of absolute control. If we wish to PRESERVE the core ideal and the values we associate with Western Civilization in its prime, we must consider the path of deliberately creating a new form and expression of nationhood as the vanguard people of a new civilization.
The new paradigm honors those from the past, it is a continuum of advancing human civilization, and those who adopt it have the best chance ever to escape the baneful effects of the decline and fall of Western Civilization. As Western Civilization is either present all over the world or deeply influential, its translation from a civilization whose arc of progress is toward universal freedom and prosperity to one whose arc is a return to archaic authoritarianism and corruption it will cause upheaval and ruin all over the world!
The quicker the new paradigm is adopted and the more prevalent it becomes among the people, the easier will be the transition and the less pain those lands and/or national peoples will experience.
Sometimes our rhetoric about the old civilization may seem like a refutation of Western Civilization. We refute the present state of that civilization, we reject a paradigm that must lead to debauchery, loss of our social fabric, loss of freedom, prevalence of poverty, and the emergence of a Caear figure.
Atomization of the individual, destruction of kinship and community founded upon faith and mutual self-reliance, the redefining of the marital household outside millenia of marital orthodoxy, libertinism, “woke” cancel culture extremism, corporate-government collusion that enriches the few at the expense of the many, pitting groups against each other, and all the such are betrayals of the best ideas and the spirit of Western Civilization!
All these things are piling up on each other to create an unsafe, unhealthy, and anti-freedom environment which the average person who still respects the ancient orthodoxy will increasingly struggle to navigate and thrive within. Essentially, it gets to a point where if you stubbornly refuse to betray your sacred beliefs and values you will not be able to thrive in this system or you may be canceled and utterly ruined.
The natural instinct to fight, to try to turn back the clock, or to somehow overturn the powers that be through the election of your own heroic leader, will tend to lead many down rabbit trails that go nowhere.
In the original spiritual experience of the First Founder of our spiritual nation, the pathway envisioned was similar to that described by great historians like Toynbee.
Toynbee described this withdrawal to regroup and rally among the pioneers of the new civilization as the only viable response to the emergence of Caesarism.
The First Founder foresaw the emergence of an intentional spiritual nationality adopted by people as individuals who then form groups and associations, namely a reconstitution of the ancient extended multi-family household kinship community (oikos). These become a globally-distributed commonwealth and sow the seeds of a new civilization whose ideals are adopted by other national peoples and even by landed sovereignties.
Perhaps then this was no coincidence as the First Founder was not aware of any of these historians or the concepts and principles of historiology.
We should then look to the future with a positive point of view, albeit with a strong awareness of the dangers that confront us during these unstable times. We should realize that in embracing a new nationality as the vanguard people of a new civilization that we are also preserving the best things about the old civilization and carrying them into a more glorious future.
Pictured: what an Estate for a kinship group of around 3-5 marital households and connected single adults might look like as the new structures of the new civilization come into physical being.
The DNC is attempting to finally push through its mail-in voting bill that seems designed to make it easier to certify elections by the FEC by rmoving the bipartisan requirement the FEC currently has in place.
National Review caught that little FEC bit buried deep in the bill and offered an effective description of the nature of the part of the Orwellian-named the Freedom to Vote Act, which should be renamed the Freedom to Control Mass Mailer Elections Bill.
Tucked inside a supposedly ‘moderate’ voting bill is a provision that would empower a lone bureaucrat to wield outsized control over elections.
Deep inside the Democrats’ latest “compromise” proposal on elections and campaign finance is a new cup of poison for free speech and fair campaigns.
Of course, the sponsors bragged that they dropped some controversial provisions. One such provision altered the Federal Election Commission (FEC), which polices campaign-finance laws, from a bipartisan agency to one with a partisan majority appointed by the president.
The bill, now dubbed the Freedom to Vote Act, abandons that direct attempt to give the president a partisan majority at the FEC. But it still abolishes the principle of bipartisan approval of enforcement actions. Even worse, it rigs court review of FEC decisions…
At this moment, the Orwellian Freedom to Vote Act faces a final hurdle, the filibuster. Fox News created an effective headline that made clear this bill was no mere voting reform bill, it will fundamentally change the way we have conducted voted, allowing for wholesale opportunities for fraud at multiple levels, from the village to the nation.
The Senate is expected to hold a procedural vote Wednesday afternoon to end a filibuster on an election bill that would impose national standards on how states conduct federal elections, including requirements for mail-in voting and automatic voter registration.
Democrats’ efforts to break the filibuster are expected to fail, as they would need ten Republicans to achieve the necessary 60 votes to move forward on the bill. So far, no Republican appears to be in favor of this.
The 592-page bill, known as the “Freedom to Vote Act,” includes sweeping reforms that include the requirement of states to provide automatic voter registration, as well as online and same-day registration. It also calls for making Election Day a public holiday.
Several provisions in the bill call for significant expansion of absentee voting by mail. It prohibits states from placing any conditions or…
The usual suspects decided to be the emotional glitter grandstanders of the DNC, with Alyssa Milano being the main story on that front, getting herself arrested protesting the failure to pass the Orwellian named Freedom to Vote Act. Note that The Hill headline chose to couch the bill as a “voting rights act,” making this publication complicit in the effort to trick the American people to accept a fundamentally un-democratic, un-republican method of voting, mass mailer voting, and certification that no longer required bipartisan support.
Actress Alyssa Milano was arrested during a voting rights protest at the White House on Tuesday as the Senate gears up for a vote on the Freedom to Vote Act, a scaled-back version of the voting rights bill that Senate Republicans blocked in June.
Milano announced her arrest in a tweet Tuesday afternoon. She said she had been demonstrating with People for the American Way, a progressive nonprofit organization that advocates for equal rights and constitutional liberties.
The actress said she was arrested “for demanding the Biden Administration and the Senate to use their mandate to protect voting rights.”
“Stand with me and [People for the American Way] and tell the Senate and White House that voting rights shouldn’t depend on where you live,” she added.
I was just arrested for demanding the Biden Administration and the Senate to use their mandate to protect voting rights. Stand with me and @peoplefor and tell the Senate and White House that voting rights shouldn’t depend on…
Reuters follows the Hill in choosing to couch this bill as a rights bill and not a mass mailer election bill. There has, to date, been minimal effort by the DNC media to explain to the American people what this bill actually is beyond using words like rights and words like racist to define election standards that seek to preserve the reliabilty of Democratic elections (like voter ID, like not having mass mailer elections, like not using foreign companies to run our digital ballots, etc).
Would the American people really support mass mailer Presidential elections if it was made clear to them that this is what this bill creates? Reuters certainly isn’t interested in serving you with this information, putting the DNC agenda ahead of journallism once again.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Senate Democrats on Wednesday will try for the third time this year to advance a voting rights bill aimed at thwarting new balloting restrictions passed in Republican-led states, fueled by Donald Trump’s false claims of a stolen election.
The chamber’s 50 Republicans are expected to block the measure from advancing, a move that could bring new pressure on Democrats to change the Senate’s “filibuster” rule that requires a supermajority of 60 votes to pass most legislation.
Senator Angus King, an independent who aligns with Democrats, told reporters that if Republicans again block the bill, “we would either have to figure out a rule change or we have to try to have discussions toward a compromise solution.”
Many Democrats have been calling for a scaling back or elimination of the filibuster to make it easier to pass President Joe Biden’s agenda over the objections of top Senate Republican Mitch McConnell.
The GOP are not a reliable lot, and all it takes is a few to be peeled off by promises of being liked by people who not so secretly think they’re really just all racists and bigots and should all be permanently cancelled. The GOP loves the abuse, it seems, so forcasting an outcome for this is a bit difficult given the malleability of this party. But if I had to bet a donut, and I just might, but only certain kinds (not all donuts are equal), I’d go with a filibsuter being successful at stopping this bill.
But if the bill passes, the GOP, or any other DNC opponent, will never win a race the DNC wants to win ever again, though I don’t imagine that power will last long once it becomes clear what it does when the overwhelming majority choose against the DNC.
Of coruse, I should add, the next battle will be the courts, and then states will pass laws denying the Federal ones, and those laws will go to the courts. The final decision most likely will not happen before the 2022 election, meaning, even if the bill passes, it won’t be implemented in this election cycle, making the 2022 election criticial for any who oppose the DNC.
The problem is this, that opposition is mostly found dependent on the GOP, andd the GOP, at the top at least, is run by collusionists, so even if the GOP wins, it will not effectively halt the DNC advance, set to resume after 2024, after the GOP allows the Freedom to Vote Act to take effect. But maybe I’m just being cynical.
With the recent targeting of Steve Bannon, a man once on the right side of Donald J Trump in the beginning of his Presidency, by the January 6th Committee, recommending contempt charges against him for not answering what some consider to be a dubiously legally binding subpoena, the real target, the real purpose of the January 6th Committee seems more to do with the prevention of Donald J Trump possibly winning back the Presidency in 2024.
The January 6th Event, sometimes called a protest gone wrong, sometimes called a riot gone wrong, sometimes called an insurrection, is taken as fact by the press that covers this event as a near-apocolyptic catastrophe as a few hundred mostly middle class Americans came close to taking down the whole government by sitting in Nancy Pelosi’s chair. The headlines here, the tone of all of the news blurbs we share in this report reflect that assumption not only in the titles, but in the articles themselves.
We start with the ABC News item that suggests the committee is really about weening the Republicans off Donald J Trump, and Liz Cheney is the poster child of that Trump weening wish for the DNC. It appears, rightly or wrongly, the DNC still greatly fears the type of coalition Donald J Trump might be able to build in 2024,
As for Tuesday night’s message, the committee’s Republican vice chairman, Rep. Liz Cheney, was front and center to directly address for her fellow members of the GOP.
“Almost every one of my colleagues knows, in your hearts, that what happened on Jan. 6 was profoundly wrong,” said Cheney, R-Wyo.
She added that Trump repeats false claims about the last election “almost daily”: “This is a prescription for national self-destruction.”
Cheney’s view remains that of a distinct minority, both among her House colleagues and with the broader public, at least in terms of what they will say publicly. A Quinnipiac University poll released Tuesday showed that 78% of Republicans want Trump to run again, up 12 points since May…….
Hours before the Bannon-related vote, Trump mocked the committee — particularly its two Republican members — and said in a statement that the “highly partisan Unselect Committee continues to rock and roll.”
Whatever that means, committee members — especially those Republicans — are playing tunes that might be uncomfortable for the former president to hear.
Here we see two DNC organs of agit prop covering the news that the committee was recommending contenpt charges against Steve Bannon. The first link is a video link in which the legal questionability of the subpoena itself is not consdered at all. Bannon is simply characterized as defying the committee’s subpoena.
The Jan. 6 House select committee voted unanimously on Tuesday night to refer Steve Bannon to the Justice Department for criminal contempt charges for defying the subpoenas of the select committee regarding the Capitol insurrection.
The ultra-progressive DNC organ called Democracy Now chose to run a brief blurb on the news, omitting the legality question of the Committee to be able to issue subpoenas in the first place.
The House committee investigating the January 6 Capitol insurrection has recommended a criminal contempt charge against Trump White House adviser Steve Bannon for defying a congressional subpoena. This is the committee’s chair, Mississippi Congressmember Bennie Thompson.
Rep. Bennie Thompson: “The rule of law remains under attack right now. If there are no accountability for these abuses, if there are different sets of rules for different types of people, then our democracy is in serious trouble.”
Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), the vice chair of the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, speaks before voting to hold Trump ally Steve Bannon in criminal contempt for refusing to comply with a subpoena.
Here is a video link from a former US Attorney General, who had some words of warning for Joe Biden regarding his January 6th Committee, Perhaps Joe is recommending action that should, could, or might in the near future, get some of his compatriots locked up as well. Spoiler alert a little late, Joe is recommending Bannon be jailed.
Former US Attorney Preet Bharara discusses President Biden’s comments about what the Department of Justice should do to those who defy subpoenas from the January 6th committee.
The former Chief of Staff of Donald J Trump who served during the January 6th Event, Mark Meadows, has retained a high profile lawyer, George Terwilliger, to represent him, as the committtee has made it clear he is a target of their ‘investigation.’
Terwilliger is influential and well known in the D.C. legal arena. He spent 15 years at the Justice Department, serving as deputy attorney general when former Trump DOJ chief Bill Barr had his first stint as attorney general and later assumed the top DOJ role in an acting capacity.
Over the years Terwilliger has worked on a host of politically charged legal fights, including on George W. Bush’s legal team during the 2000 Florida recount and representing Bush-era attorney general Alberto Gonzales in the wake of the U.S. attorneys scandal. More recently, Terwilliger represented former Rep. Aaron Schock (R-Ill.) when the Justice Department probed Schock for corruption. DOJ dropped the charges against Schock and reached a settlement with him.
Meadows, meanwhile, is a central focus for the Jan. 6 select committee.
The committee subpoenaed him on Sept. 23 and has since said that he’s engaging with its investigators. Steve Bannon, another Trump World denizen subpoenaed the same…
As the shortages increase and gas prices rise, including oil, just in time for colder weather, the significance of this committee will retrieve further and further into the backdrop, becoming a petty political kabuki theater and nothing more. The end result of this committee most likely will be shouted headlines that no one is reading declaring once again the republicans are evil and not even Americans, while supporting a party that wishes to end free speech, gun rights, and even the very concepts of man and woman themselves, a party that equates the Bill of Rights, our nation’s most impactful shared identity across all lines, with white supremacism.
That’s the party calling anyone else in America un-american, the party that topples Washington statues and cheers when Marvel changes the Superman slogan from “The American Way,” to “Until There’s a Better Tomorrow,” that party.
An ongoing volcano on the Canary Islands is causing local destruction and threatens the American East Coast with some degree of disruption as well. The volcano is called the La Palma Volcano. It has been spewing for over 2 weeks now, but there does seem to be an end in sight. Here is the latest on this developing story.
Drone footage has captured blocks of red-hot magma – some of which were the size of three-storey buildings, the Spanish Institute of Geology and Mining said – flowing down the hillside from La Palma’s Cumbre Vieja volcano.
Satellites have captured stunning new images of the intensifying volcanic eruption on the Spain-owned island of La Palma as new streams of lava spilled out over the weekend.
The revitalized volcanic eruption was accompanied by boulders the size of a house rolling out of the Cumbre Vieja volcano’s crater, where part its cone collapsed on Saturday (Oct. 9), as locals reported dozens of Earth tremors up to 3.8 magnitude since Sunday. The reports signal Cumbre Vieja was still far from going to sleep.
The European Earth-observing satellite Sentinel-2 caught a glimpse on Sunday of the new lava streams that squirted out of the fiery volcano after the partial collapse of its conical crater that had formed since the beginning of the eruption on Sept. 19. The collapse freed the way for the up to 2,264 degrees Fahrenheit (1,240 degrees Celsius) hot lava to spill in new directions. A powerful sizzling stream quickly formed north of the original lava river and found a path downhill toward the…
Shortly after the Republicans declared they will not buckle in the Senate on the looming debt celing deadline of October 18th, the MSM of the DNC cranked up their “Republicans are killing us by preventing us from going deeper into debt narrative,” thought it was labeled more on the lines of “Republicans are being irresponsible, holding our nation hostage during a time of crisis.”
Within a short period ot time, the GOP had capitulated, with Mitch McConnell offering hat in hand to the victors. The outcome was certain. The recalitrant GOP was performative, not authentic, and the typical result occured. The GOP betrayed its own base at the top level, who got nothing back in exchange for their capitulation.
The DNC-MSM narrative was effective right from the start, and soon, the whole troop of Senate power players turned their gaze to the White House where the Corporate-DNC’s, the CEOs in charge of our most powerful unaccountable international corporations, gathered at Biden’s feet to signal to the halls of DC that the corpos were sidin’ with Biden.
Losing both the MSM and the Corporate world alike (two factions of which were lost before the latest battle ever began) in such short order, the bold leadership of Mitch McConnell chose to capitulate, only to offer up another round of GOP becomes the villain, DNC gets the win round sure to occur at the next debt limit deadline, which is coming up in December.
The first headline in our aggregate of news blurbs covering this event starts with Talking Point Memo’s headline, which is the narrative that most likely will prevail in this whole exchange among the casual political observer who derives the bulk of their claims on truth from DNC-MSM sources.
Senate Democrats will accept a short-term increase in the debt limit that would raise the ceiling high enough to stave off default until December, a kick-the-can quick fix floated by Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) on Wednesday afternoon. Democrats will reportedly not accept an increase in the debt ceiling through budget reconciliation.
The situation sets up a new debt-ceiling showdown for later in 2021.
Markets like stability, even if it’s hardly long-term, so, shortly after the deal was made, stocks responded, creating a double bounce for the DNC and even Biden himself.
Major U.S. indexes rose after Republicans lawmakers offered a short-term debt-limit extension, helping stave off immediate concerns about a possible government default.
All 11 major sectors of the S&P 500 were green in early-morning trading, pushing the broad benchmark up 1.5%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added about 530 points, bringing the blue-chip index to 34947, while the Nasdaq Composite advanced 1.6%.
Stocks appeared to get a boost from D.C. developments. Senate Democrats appeared ready to accept Republicans’ proposal to punt a showdown over the debt ceiling until later this year. Earlier this week, concerns over whether the Treasury would be able to raise money to pay its bills had weighed on investors. Treasury Secretary
What follows here are three news blurbs from three different sources covering this event, from which you can cull more details. Note that the language is mostly positive regarding the decision to extend the debt limit, though not strictly inflammatory against the GOP. Expect that banality to end shortly after the deal is finalized.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said Thursday an agreement has been reached with Republicans to extend the government’s borrowing authority into December, temporarily averting a debt crisis.
“Our hope is to get this done as soon as today,” Schumer declared as he opened the Senate.
In their agreement, Republican and Democratic leaders edged back from a perilous standoff over lifting the nation’s borrowing cap, with Democratic senators accepting an offer from Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell.
McConnell made the offer Wednesday shortly before Republicans were prepared to block longer-term legislation to suspend the debt limit and as President Joe Biden and business leaders ramped up their concerns that an unprecedented federal default would disrupt government payments to millions of people and throw the nation into…

WASHINGTON — Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said Thursday an agreement has been reached with Republicans to extend the government’s borrowing authority into December, temporarily averting a debt crisis.
“We’ve reached agreement,” Schumer announced as he opened the Senate. “Our hope is to get this done as soon as today.”
Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell had offered to accept a short-term extension on Wednesday, shortly before Republicans prepared to block legislation to suspend the debt limit until December of next year.
President Joe Biden and business leaders had ramped up their concerns that an unprecedented federal default would disrupt government payments to millions of people and throw the nation into recession.
The agreement sets the stage for a sequel of sorts in December, when Congress will again face pressing deadlines to fund the government and raise the debt limit before heading home for the holidays.
“Basically, I’m glad that Mitch McConnell finally saw the light,”…
Here we see where the CEOs of DNC Inc, if we can call it that, meet at the Biden White House to telegraph their support for the debt limit extension. Perhaps people who fail to support debt limit extensions will one day be declared misinformation in and of themselves.
The building battle over how to raise the debt ceiling will come to a head Wednesday afternoon when Republicans are expected to filibuster a procedural vote to raise the debt ceiling.
The vote, scheduled to happen after 2 p.m., will require 60 yeas. But Republicans have been very clear that they intend to vote against it uniformly.
As punishment for spending trillions of dollars without GOP input via budget reconciliation, Republicans want Democrats to use the same process to raise the debt ceiling. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., says the GOP has no demands and does not intend to compromise – they are locked into their protest.
Finally, the narrative that began the push to make Mitch retreat, yet again, perhaps, some would argue, by design. It certainly is moves such as these that lead people to believe the GOP at the highest level is simply controlled opposition.
Perhaps Americans of all diversities need a new party, an American Party based in the Bill of Rights, not ‘left’ or ‘right,’ to oppose the machine that the DNC has become, from the market square to the public square, from the bedroom to the classroom, there’s no action this party does NOT want to control.
Lawmakers in Washington are working to pass a debt limit suspension before government funding runs out, which could happen as soon as Oct. 18, according to Treasury estimates. (iStock)
“Not only are Republicans refusing to do their job, they’re threatening to use the power — their power to prevent us from doing our job: saving the economy from a catastrophic event,” Biden said. “I think, quite frankly, it’s hypocritical, dangerous and disgraceful.”
The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, is telling his European comtemporaries that it’s time to ween itself off American power. The embattled President is in the midst of an election he most likely will win but might potentially lose, and he’s just seen a major arms deal between his country and Australia go the way of the dodo bird after the United States essentially gave Australia for free something better or at least on par with what France would have been paid to deliver, submarines.
Now, Macron is moving to move Europe away from America and into itself. And don’t think a new European nationalism is not possible if and when all of Europe suddenly perceives the US is no longer a reliable defensive partner. When faceed with the external threats without, the people of Europe may find a new european nationalism convenient to the perceived predicament. For that to happen, America has to geet out of the way, whether it wants to or not.
French President Emmanuel Macron urged Europeans to “come out of their naivete” on the world stage and assert their independence from the United States, sending one of the strongest signals to date that the diplomatic crisis prompted by a disrupted submarine deal could have long-lasting repercussions on transatlantic relations.
Speaking alongside the Greek prime minister Tuesday at a news conference to unveil a major Franco-Greek defense deal, Macron said the Europeans should make themselves “respected.”
“For a bit over 10 years now, the United States has been very focused on itself and has strategic interests that are being reoriented towards China and the Pacific,” he said.
