A new window on freedom opens through a proper and spiritual understanding of nationhood unshackled from the limits of politics and race, all constructs of top-down control that are a hazard to the kind of freedom God intends.
Willem IV- The power of nationhood, as a concept and in practice, isn’t what you probably think it is (political and/or racial), but it can give large bodies of people spread over vast spaces incredible influence and mutual assurance of safety without top-down down systems of control. Basically, if you understand nationhood as something spiritual that becomes sociocultural and socioeconomic and then civic, in a purely voluntary sense, you have a powerful vehicle for increasing your level of freedom and preventing yourself from being easily controlled or influenced.
This comes from the third of the 17 Protocols of Upadaria and is a dramatic, peaceful, alternative to a top-down approach and to systems and structures that are a slave to politics or polluted by racialism/racism. Through understanding nationhood as something that has a voluntarily shared spiritual basis, we can develop a sort of “organic cohesiveness” that is quite effective against more authoritarian and top-down systems of control.
The Spiritual Nation
WE ARE A SPIRITUAL NATION OF PEOPLE WHOSE GOD IS THE LORD
God ordains the nations and calls them into being. His Word establishes the boundaries of their habitation and time of their existence. We believe God has called and ordained us to be Peers of a new spiritual nation, defined by spiritual sovereignty, whose God is the Lord.
– The 17 Protocols of Upadaria, Protocol Three
For many, if we speak of a nation or a nation of people, like a nationality, the two predominant things they think of in their mind’s eye are things like a political state and citizenship or a race or bloodline ancestry. Nations can be and sometimes are based on these things or a combination of these these things, but they aren’t these things in their core essence or, we propose, in God’s eyes.
Even when a nation is associated mostly or exclusively with a single political state or a race/blood ancestry, that is not the essence of a healthy nation. Put a different way, unless a nation is at its core made up of a spiritual commonality among its participants, it is not healthy and will tend to threaten as opposed to enhance freedom.
By nation we cannot mean the land or structures like a political state. Conflating a nation with these things is like conflating a family with the house they live in. Nations exists within these things and some organizations or institutions affiliated with a nation may exert control over these structures, but these things aren’t the nation.
Nations, from our best understanding of the Biblical and historical record, can best be desribed as a distributed body of people and their families who have a shared spiritual foundation and follow the same basic way of life. Nations are ordained by God, He sets the boundaries of their existence in time and of their habitation SO THAT people might find God if they seek Him. The only way for people to freely seek God is for freedom itself to reign. Therefore we say that nations are meta-scale freedom-building agencies and vehicles of power for free people, in their ideal.
A body of ideas based on shared beliefs, values, and convictions and the body of people, along with their freewill participatory associations who embrace and utilize those ideas, make up the core substance of a nation. This is true whether such associations include political states or not and, for most all the nearly 10,000 national people groups in existence, there is no political state.
Nationhood, when we see it as something spiritual you adopt through freewill participation alone, is a way to connect deeply to others without having to compromise your individual spiritual sovereignty. It is another form of inner freedom, starting with the universal nationhood of all Believers within the Kingdom, and which is expressed in a diverse manner throughout multiple unique manifestations of nationhood, which it has always been God’s intention to create.
The Tower of Babel story illustrates a deep and sublime truth that diversity expressions of nationhood, even if all are founded on Kingdom essentials, have always been God’s intention. Moreover, Revelation describes a new heavens and a new earth that includ diverse nations of people. So then nationhood, when we see it correctly, is an at-scale agency of God’s provision of freedom and is prescribed by God, in a diversity expression, for the whole of human civilization.
The diversity of nationhood we in particular proclaim is a new spiritual nation called “Upadaria”, which is the same name of the new civilization, a civilization founded on four core ideals of good governance and of freedom for all. So then this “Upadaria” is predicated on Kingdom essentials and the core ideals of a new civilization of Believers that we believe will emerge all over the world among any nations of people.
Through this at-scale familial free association of people, who adopt a shared identity and organic cohesiveness based on ideals and neither race nor politics, people can experience a form of inner freedom that begins to reach out and into and transfigure their own lives and relationships.
We proclaim that we who embrace Yeshua as King and our own unique principles and etc all founded on Kingdom essentials and the core ideals of a freedom civilization are all Peers of a spiritual nation of people whose God is the Lord. As such, we know and have faith that God’s will surround us with a sacred spiritual boundary, pomerium as we call it, which will keep us safe from harm.
Nationhood as a concept isn’t limited to Upadarians, people who are called into our diversity expression of Kingdom Nationhood in Christ. Any body of people, which could be a few persons who become a group and a whole tribe, can use this concept as the basis of their freewill participation.
For Upadarians, who are first and foremost “Yeshuans”, that is, Believers, Christians, who follow Yeshua and identify with Him, our shared spiritual nationhood unites us under Christ alone but moves us in unique ways that go beyond Kingdom essentials and that are not required of all Christians. We are united with the whole Body of Christ because our diversity expression of nationhood is firmly rooted in the Universal Kingdom Nationhood we share with all Believers.
Our particular concept of nationhood, which anyone anywhere can voluntarily adopt by learning and embracing the 17 Protocols, begins with and seeks to equip its peers to experience spiritual sovereignty as individuals. Spiritual sovereignty means we are created in the image of God and endowed with such rights as life, liberty, property, the pursuit of happiness, freedom of expression and association, mutual and individual self-reliance and self-preservation, and respect for our rights, for human dignity, and for human flourishing.
We take this as a priori fact, we don’t debate it and we aren’t open to any compromise of our reasonable boundaries of individual and shared spiritual sovereignty, both as individual persons and as a spiritual nation as a body of people whose God is the Lord. While we work in peace and we may submit to unjust laws and policies to keep the peace or just because we have no earthly choice, we believe God will deliver us and make us free.
The mere act of identifying with such a form of spiritual nationhood means you unlock the blessings and provisions reserved for God-fearing nations of people, even if the entire surrounding society is running away from God! We will, within the other Protocols, offer comcrete methods and techniques for building freedom, and anyone can use these ideas. We also believe that when a whole distributed body of people share the same national identity, and when that national identity is founded on the person and works of Jesus Christ, according to Kingdom essentials and the vision of new freedom civilization, that God will let loose supernatural provisions, favor, and protection not manifested through any other Divinely ordained agency.
Through the adoption of a form of spiritual nationhood we can build our own inner freedom and, together in freewill participatory association, we can build out freedom in our lives, relationships, families, and communities on a unilateral basis and for the Glory of God.
Willem IV- The current trend toward ever-increasing authoritarianism is not going to go away soon, but the trend toward something new and better emerging even within the old civilizations is also inevitable. We use the second of the 17 Protocols of Upadaria to illustrate both what is happening that is contrary to freedom and what is inevitably going to increase freedom for those who understand the times and act accordingly.
The New Civilization
A NEW CIVILIZATION OF BELIEVERS EMERGES AS OLD CIVILIZATIONS FALTER
Understanding times and seasons and cycles and patterns allows us to see that we are living in a time of visitation. The existing paradigms have resulted in a centralized corpostate that politicizes all aspects of society, such as a church system and culture that is limited by religion and Western practices. These will be lawfully and peacefully transcended over time as the new civilization emerges.
-From “The 17 Protocols of Upadaria”, Protocol Two
While authoritarianism is alarming and its disruptions of your life in the here and now can be quite dramatic, the trend toward freedom for those who understand and embrace the signs of the time is clear as well. We are in a state of early collapse, but also a state of genesis, depending on what we choose.
The historical processes whereby civilizations, from the West and Islamic, to the Russian, Indian, Japanese, and Chinese civilizations, are born, rise, decline, and fall, are mostly always inevitabilities we cannot prevent from taking place. What is unique and both special and hazardous about our particular time is that so many major human civilizations are at a similar stage of decline and that the presence of depravity, corruption, and authoritarianism are so pervasive in every major country or collection of countries, like the EU, for example.
Each civilization declines in a different way, but all tend to feature some form of moral depravity, corruption of institutions to wit the needs of the ruling class are served at the expense of the people, and the emergence of increasing manifestations of more authoritarian policies. One theory as to how and why so many of the world’s major civilizations are in similar states of decline is that Western Civilization has become so powerful and influential that it has essentially “colonized” aspects of all the other civilizations and dragged them all to its present state of spiritual and moral malaise.
But a new civilization is coming with bright and glorious prospects, whole new structures, whole new cities, predicated on freedom and prosperity with liberty and justice for all.
Meanwhile, the major civilizations, of which the Western is chief, are going in the opposite direction.
When we speak of Western Civilization your mind may hearken to images of a Judeo-Christian worldview and moral foundation combined with the Greco-Roman foundations and our history of science coupled with a strong work ethic and strong nuclear and extended families. You may know that no civilization yet has been wholly good but that the overall moral and spiritual state of Western Civilization has been far better and has itself represented an overall advancement for human civilization.
Those who understand history properly take in a view over thousands of years as opposed to the habit of modern humans, which is to be short-sighted. What we can see is that the advancement overall of humanity in terms of material well-being, technology, lifespans, quality of life, and even freedom cannot be denied. In every major aspect of this advance, Western Civilization was, since what we see as its inception in the 8th to 9th centuries, was in the vanguard.
Not everyone equally benefited but almost entirely everyone is better off materially and in every other way today than they were, say, 200 years ago. In other words, the benefits of advanced civilization were not evenly or equitably distributed, but everyone received some benefits. The black community in America, for instance, is far behind all others due to structural legacies rooted in racist prejudice, but they are far better off than when slavery was legal and the South started a Civil War to keep their slaves!
Things like the welfare system and gun control as well as abortion, all of which disproportionately effect the black community, are all rooted in structural thinking that was itself a product of racial prejudice. It’s not that society today is based on systemic racism, it is that some legacy structures were a product of racial bigotry. What is interesting and informative is that most people and politicians who invoke accusations of white guilt and systemic racism still desire to perpetuate racist structural thinking, like gun control, abortion, the welfare system, and dumbing down educational standards.
What the world is about to witness, as the cycles of civilization draw a close to the more “golden” ages these civilizations experienced, mostly (but far from exclusively) thanks to Western Civilization, is a major reduction in the leading indicators of a healthy civilization. For instance, in the US, the lifespan of all populations decreased for the first time since World War Two and, we can say, most everyone in every population group has seen their level of personal freedom decreased over the past 40 years.
Even if you argue, as we also do, that the degree of racial prejudice 40 years ago was higher, despite the woke communists’ insistence everyone is racist today, the degree of personal freedom experienced by a black person in the 1980s was more than they, or almost anyone save the ruling class, experience today!
What we are witnessing is the decline of multiple civilizations, led by the spiritual and moral collapse of Western culture as it embraces all the typical traits of a dying civilization, mainly the destruction of extended families followed by the destruction of nuclear families. By the 1980s the collapse of extended families within close-knit trust communities had been solidified and the atomization of the individual was in full swing, prompted by the “baby boomer, me generation” and their utter rejection of moral standards in the 60s and 70s.
No generation in America history has been more problematic to its country and people than the Baby Boomers who made selfishness and moral depravity their creed, although many “boomers” rejected and resisted, and still do, all of that. But one cannot blame the “boomers.” Their period of “social experimentation” and “sexual liberation” was really not a unilateral act they themselves willed into being, it was a historical process effected by utter exhaustion after two massively destructive “world wars” perpetuated mostly as Western Civilization began “trying on” the stages of authoritarianism.
We want our youth back, but we don’t want to repeat the mistakes of our youth!
For this reason, some will, as always happens, seek to restore their old civilization’s original spirit. Even if they, like us, feel that the best their civilization offered wasn’t equitably distributed to all and wish to rectify that, they basically want to keep their old civilization alive by making it young again. This is really like an older person who would love their youth back but who would also make changes in their behavior and choices if they could turn the clock back.
Civilizations, like individual human beings who are the “interdependent atoms” and whose extended families are the core constituent entities of a civilization, cannot turn back the clock. Their eventual death is written in stone and no human being can unwrite it.
Trying to revive and perpetuate any civilization, to get its youth back and learn from its youthful mistakes, to make its new golden age more equitable and fair to everyone is, to be blunt, a fantasy.
So where does that leave the global denizen who looks all around and sees not one major civilization or land where freedom rooted in virtue, liberty, and independence prevails? What does a world look like when every major civilization is in a state of decline and where the clock cannot be turned back nor the coming age of depraved authoritarianism cannot be stayed?
Those who solely focus on the decline and fall of existing civilizations often forget another part of the cycle of history: the genesis of new civilizations always begins both within and outside of declining civilizations. The cycle of dying and the cycle of birthing overlap. The new emerges as an internal exile from the systems and structures of the old. People who cannot and will not cosign the cultural milieu of a dying civilization withdraw internally or are banished, like being deplatformed in our era, and find alt forms of sociocultural and socioeconomic life and connectedness.
It is argued that almost every new civilization emerges from some desire to restore or regain the youthful vigor of an older civilization that is dying or has died. Many of those who today feel they are defending “Western Tradition” and seeking to restore Western Civilization to spiritual and moral health, learning from past mistakes, will mostly end up planting the spiritual, philosophical, and ideological seeds of the new civilization.
As Jesus warned people to understand the times and seasons and to recognize the hour of their visitation, we must be wise as well. We live in a dual-reality, if we recognize, and the reality we choose to swim within is the reality that will control our life on this earth. Even if we personally, through faith in Christ, are bound for heaven, if we choose the wrong earthly reality, it will have a direct impact on this life and an influence on the life to come because we will not have fulfilled all that needed to be fulfilled in this life.
The only two realities a modern human in the 21st century can swim within are the latter day decline and fall of every major civilization or the genesis period wherein the new civilization emerges heart to heart, family to family, within those increasingly barbaric societies. Even if you do not consciously choose, your choice will be made for you and the default choice is to flow along the course of the dying civilization.
The new civilization is coming. This is always the case.
But what will it look like, what will its ideals and culture look like?
The new always has a spiritual and moral purity to it that the old can no longer fathom or tolerate. What is more, the new can emerge and survive in kernels of people and communities within the old for multiple centuries before it finally dies!
Even if you understand the new civilization and its ideals and if you practice them, they may be a boon to your personal life and that of your fellow travelers, but you may not live to see the establishment of your civilization as someone separated from the old civilizations. You will, however, experience the spirit of the new civilization which will enable you to fulfill purposes and designs for your life which would be hindered within the cultural milieu of the old civilization.
The ideals of the new civilization, as we see it, based on the perfecting and spiritual purification of the ideals of four primary antecedent civilizations, include a modernized and Judeo-Christian interpretation and balanced application of Unity in diversity, Popular sovereignty, Democratic equality, and Rule of law.
Let your “old” understanding of these terms, which is polluted by the spirit depravity all around you, go. For instance, Democratic equality hearkens to a free and equitable marketplace of goods, services, and ideas within a just and fair competitive, and yet collaborative, free enterprise structure. The perfect democracy is a form of meritocracy that seeks to ensure every human being has an equal and fair starting point while leaving nobody behind. And by meritocracy we do not mean the rule of the most capable among the most privileged! Our concept of participatory free association based on our merit (including character, fidelity, integrity, and capability and not JUST capability) is equitable and fair and reaches to the worst off to elevate them to an equal standing.
If we explored all these ideals in their roots we would find their more “modern” definitions to be a twisted perversion of their original spirit. Rule of law isn’t slavish devotion to an arbitrary legal code, it is a balance of law based on proven laws of cause and effect, the individual’s and the common good, and both the consensus of the people and the merit of the lawmakers and law enforcers.
Briefly, we find the ideals of the new civilization written within the best and most generous understanding of four primary antecedent civilizations: Unity in diversity from Western Civilization, Popular sovereignty from the Germanic civilization, Democratic equality from the Greco-Roman Civilization, and Rule of law from the Hebrew civilization.
In every way, the new civilization’s symbols, language, culture, and even architecture takes new forms that, while they may superficially resemble old forms, and be founded on the most ancient and sacred institutions, transcend everything that currently exists.
For this reason, we sat that this doesn’t mean the new civilization is merely the offspring of these primary antecedent civilizations. It means, however, that the core ideals of the new are mostly, but not exclusively, to be discovered in the core ideal of these civilization. If we understand their core ideal, each had only one, in its purity and in its original spirit, not in its imperfect and hypocritical application, we find a deeper and sublime truth.
It is through understanding these ideals, balancing them within the ancient and sacred blueprints of civilization we find in Holy Writ, namely the Bible, that we discover a path whereby we can immerse ourselves into the new reality, the emergence of a new civilization, that is the only path to escape from the downward pull of the old reality, the death of an old civilization.
The dual realities compete for every heart and every family and community of people and each of us gets a choice. In fact, this is a radical new advancement in human civilization itself: never before have humans both had such a complete understanding of the cycles of civilization and never has it been possible for almost everyone on the planet to choose which of these two realities they desire to immerse themselves within.
The paths toward more freedom run through the cycles of civilization related to the emergence of the new within the old. The paths to authoritarianism and deprivation lead through basically either choosing or insensibly going with the flow of the old civilizations in decline.
We are all destined to be spiritually sovereign beings, joint heirs, royalty, in the Kingdom of God. Our inner freedom stems from this realization. Women and men, people of every kindred or ancestry, are all equals as joint-heirs with Yeshua if they choose the path of salvation by faith.
By Willem IV*- We talk a lot about freedom, but there is an inner freedom that flows from the heart and throne of God, every person has the potential to see, understand, and experience this freeedom. To understand this freedom we introduce two new concepts, Kingdom Nationhood and Regency. This comes from the first of 17 Protocols of Upadaria, which are part of a specific vision for a “spiritual nation”, which are based on Kingdom essentials, and which are meant to empower people to fully realize their God-given freedom and potential as joint-heirs and citizens of the Kingdom of God through Yeshua.
For some, these Protocols become the basis of a set of standards and norms which define a unique and intentional shared identity and way of life and which form the essence of their freewill association with people all over the world. For others, these Protocols, insofar as they reflect the Kingdom essentials found in God’s Word, are a useful tool for exploring new possibilities in Kingdom living beyond just attending church services.
Kingdom Nationhood
WE ARE REGENTS OF YESHUA, THE CHRIST, AND CITIZENS OF HIS KINGDOM
Fulfilling our Regency as Kings, Priests, and joint-Heirs with Yeshua in His Kingdom is something we seek daily through practicing fellowship with all Believers where we live, work, and worship. We exercise our spiritual sovereignty and fulfill God’s best for our lives with excellence.
– From “The 17 Protocols of Upadaria”, Protocol One
Kingdom Nationhood has two manifestations, a universal manifestation which includes all Believers and a diversity manifestation which it was prophesied would be fulfilled when Abraham was told he would be the father of many nations. But even the diversity expression of Kingdom Nationhood has the same essence: a body of people united under Yeshua as their King and determined to be His Regents as a witness and influence for Him to the nations.
Nationhood in general isn’t what the world seems to equate it to, namely political states or so-called “races.” In the Kingdom, our universal nationhood in Christ is as citizens of His Kingdom. The blood that unites us is the Blood of Christ. The only form of statehood is the spiritual sovereignty of the Eternal Kingdom which is given to every citizen of the Kingdom as a nation of kings and priests unto God.
This concept of nationhood is a more holistic and, frankly, Biblical view of Christianity itself. Ours is not merely a religion, it is a universal and eternal nationhood and identity that flows through us in every aspect of our being and every arena and level of human action and interaction for the Glory of God and the Praise of His Name!
If you want to begin a journey of freedom, begin with understanding the true nature of Christianity not as some religion spoiled by humans who added things and took away things from God’s intentions. To be a Christian or, as we often say, a Yeshuan (because we use Jesus’s Hebrew name, and not for any doctrinal reason), is to adopt a deeper, universal, and spiritual nationhood or national identity that easily transcends our citizenship, so-called “race”, ethnicity, or ancestry.
We are translated FROM the kingdom of darkness, where we were held as spiritual slaves to an overlord of evil, INTO the Kingdom of God as joint-heirs, and therefore regents on this earth, of the King, who is Yeshua, the Christ.
What is a regent?
A regent is someone who is not the king or queen (in the Upadarian culture, there is no male/female versions of “king” or “Reyki”, but just “king”, which we call Reyki, and which applies to women and men) but who has all the Sovereign power thereof until the King Returns. If we are all joint-heirs and if the King is not present in the physical, and if we are destined and ordained as “Reyki” in the Kingdom, then are we not Regents of Yeshua on this earth?
You are destined, if you choose the path of repentance from sin and then to walk a life of faith in Yeshua, to become a regent of the King and to actualize your own Regency as a Royal who walks with God and converses with Him face to face. When human beings dare to stand on the road between you and your own regency in Yeshua, by fulfilling the scroll of purpose and destiny for you life (“wyrd”), they stand against the King and the whole Kingdom.
Change your understanding of Christianity as a religion. It is also a religion, but Christianity is mainly a national identity that is universal and eternal. When you become a Christian, you adopt an eternal nationhood and you are eligible to walk and live out your life as a regent of your King while you are on this earth.
While we could produce much in the way of content on how to see and practice your nationhood as a Believer and your Regency in Yeshua, the heart of this is how we live out our own lives, how we treat fellow Believers, and how we relate to the world at large in serving our King.
The Regency of Believers isn’t something we lord over anyone. It is stewardship and agency, it is being a witness and an influence, but it isn’t dominion over others.
The way we approach practicing this Regency within the context of our shared Kingdom Nationhood begins with understanding Kingdom essentials, like the core ethical, moral, and doctrinal orthodoxy of historic and Biblical Christianity. These Kingdom essentials are the thing that makes every follower of Yeshua a fellow national, which is really a massive scale form of kinship.
Physical Israel as a kingdom is a shadow of the eternal and universal Kingdom of God which is destined to cover the earth and, after the Return of the King, be the only Supreme Kingdom on this earth. It is manifested in and through us as we live and practice “Kingdom essentials” in our lives and relationships.
Kingdom essentials include things like the Divinity of Christ, the Resurrection, the Return of Christ, the doctrine of salvation by faith, and the such. These are sometimes referred to as the “milk” of our faith: easy to digest and understand and not really open to dispute or “interpretation.” Outside of these things, one cannot be considered to be a citizen of the Kingdom.
In practice we find things like prayer, worship, breaking of bread, fellowship, mutual care, and the such. These are things we essentially “owe” to one another, although we are accountable only to God, ultimately, for how, when, and with whom and where we do these things. To begin to practice our regency we begin with every fellow Believer wherever we live, work, or worship, as much as we can, by deliberately doing these things together.
Believers connecting around Kingdom essentials, especially some of the core practices of Kingdom living, like praying together or studying the Word together, is a major aspect of walking in our regency. All these efforts to “unite the church” would gain much ground if Believers practiced their regency together, regardless of denominational or church affiliation!
When individual Believers begin to connect with each other, outside of just going to church, each person begins to experience and practice their own spiritual sovereignty as regents of the King. Moreover, as this becomes a daily practice, there is a certain supernatural dimension and empowerment released into your life.
This is an essential foundation for understanding and practicing our shared Kingdom Nationhood and for living out our spiritual sovereignty as regents of the King. But going beyond this we understand our wyrd, which is our scroll of destiny and purpose, which is God’s best for our lives, and how we must pursue this with excellence.
To understand our wyrd is a journey and a process of discovery and experimentation, we don’t usually just get a full download. We discover this in communion with God through the Spirit but also in a practical understanding of both the things that drive/inspire us and in a combination of our skills and qualifications and the needs of the marketplace and/or ministry we enter into.
As our understanding of our wyrd unfolds at different levels, we begin more and more to adopt an intentional identity in Yeshua. We begin to see the stark difference between things we inherited in the flesh as well as things others have put on us and the things God has planted within us. We see an ideal persona of ourselves through the lenses of the Kingdom, the Bible, and God’s Spirit speaking to us.
This is true inner freedom and while we desire outer freedoms like our sacred God-given human rights and dignity for all people, these outer freedoms both flow from and serve this inner freedom. If you have all the outer freedoms but don’t experience this inner freedom then you are tragically and unnecessarily lost. If human beings block or deny your outer freedoms, first, they become enemies of God who gave us those freedoms and, second, we lose not one bit of our inner freedom, which can supernaturally transcend any earthly and/or human opposition to God’s wyrd for us.
You cannot say the world or any human cannot block God’s purpose for your life if you don’t understand that purpose and walk in it inasmuch as you are able and as God provides. This isn’t legalism, God has Grace and helps us even when we don’t deserve it. This is practicality. When we desire to cross the Jordan into our promised land, having first come through the Red Sea and now being ready and willing to walk in our regency in Yeshua, the waters do not part until our feet get wet.
Whatever else we do through understanding these Protocols, if we don’t get this right, our shared nationhood with all Believers and our regency, we have a shaky foundation. Connecting with fellow Believers and also pursuing our own wyrd with deliberate intentionality are two key ways we experience and fulfill our spiritual sovereignty as joint-heirs with Yeshua.
While we will explore and develop forms of nationhood in Yeshua that aren’t universal and shared “wyrds” of destiny and purpose that don’t apply to all Believers, this is essential. If you utilize all the 17 Protocols save this one, then you will lack true spiritual sovereignty. If you only use this Protocol to walk in Kingdom Nationhood with fellow Believers and to seek and follow God’s wyrd for YOU, walking in spiritual sovereignty as a regent of the King, then you will preserve yourself in this life and prepare yourself for the world to come.
This doesn’t mean these other things don’t matter or cannot help you become a more rounded, fulfilled, and effective person. These other things are transfigurative in their own right but only if they remain subordinated to this overarching purpose which is essential for all Believers.
If you desire to be a fully spiritually sovereign human being created in the very image of God, the path is through an inner freedom based on Kingdom Nationhood in Yeshua, which you share with all fellow Believers, and walking/living as a regent of the King both through connecting with fellow Believers and through seeking to know and fulfill God’s wyrd for you as His regent on this earth. In this way we become a witness and influence for Yeshua to the nations!
_______________
*NOTE: Willem IV is the fictional Crown Prince Regent of the Crown Commonwealth of Upadaria. It is a persona within “Upadaria”, a unique spiritual nation project, and planned international Christian society, that was developed from a fictional future history. The idea of these “impressions” of personas from the future history is, in part, to see yourself clearly as God sees you and to be unencumbered from your past or whatever others want to impose upon your identity.
We are casting a vision for the future in which people can build distributed freedom cities as private developments and subscriber-based networks within an area. People who love freedom, want success and prosperity, and desire to fulfill their own dreams, need a way to connect and collaborate in a larger area network of relationships and associations.
Together, these networks and nodes basically resemble the emergence of a large city that is self-contained, self-sustaining, and comprehensive in its scope of services and resources. It is a city distributed within and among all the communities of a specific area but that, despite being distributed, is for all that still a fully functional city serving its netizens, online-based subscribers, and the public.
The Freedomist is all about unilateral actions to promote real freedom and prosperity that leaves nobody in any demographic or community behind. The distributed freedom city concept takes the idea of a privately developed free city, as if it was an entire city created intentionally on freedom building principles and ideals, and distributes it throughout an area in the form of a digital platform and distributed facilities where its netizens can gather and access activities, social events, services, and resources.
Instead of one city in one single place, parts of the city, as facilities that provide services or even clustered housing developments affiliated with this virtual city are distributed all over, here and there. Parts of the distributed city, in the form of physical facilities and hubs, exist here and there in every village, township, town, county, or other municipality in its service area. The netizens include eResidents, eCitizens, Freeholders, Ecclesians, Peers, Electors, and Nobles, which are different types of subscriptions based on freewill participation. These netizens of the “virtual-to-local” distributed city live throughout the area, some in clustered housing affiliated with the virtual city and most wherever they already lived before the city came into existence.
What does the city offer? Through an economy of some scale, pooling of resources, and the ability to connect thousands of people for mutual benefit and profit, the city could meet most basic human needs of its netizens (what all the different subscribers are called) and ensure the protection of their rights, persons, and property from all harm. This is mostly through legal aid, practical mutual assurance among members, clubs that meet different needs, including a safety and home security cooperative, lobbying governments, viting en bloc, and a strong media presence and web presence.
While our distributed cities may be owned/developed and managed by a local chapter organization of our society, as the administrator, they will serve a broad and pluralistic community of freedom builders and freedom seekers. This is the private city concept wherein the administrators serve the netizens as clients and customers whose free market demands form the basis of a truly democratic feedback loop. The city serves its netizens, not the other way around, or it goes bankrupt.
A freedom city is a city ruled by the Bill of Rights and the core ideas and principles of freedom for all with a strong foundation of virtue, liberty, and independence. A distributed freedom city is basically a virtual-to-local community of people within a larger area who act in harmony to build freedom for themselves and for others.
In our terminology we call these Upo Shires, using the term shire from the Middle Ages to denote an area that is within a larger Duchy or Kingdom but which is also more or less self-reliant and self-governing as well self-sustaining. The term Upo denotes the fact these distributed cities would adhere to the UPDR ideals of governance, among other concepts and practices. In old England a Shire was equivalent to a County, more or less, so we often use the term Freedom Shires to describe a County wherein most to all local officials adhere to the spirit and intent of the US Bill of Rights as the highest law and standard of the land.
But a Upo Shire as a distributed freedom city isn’t a County, it is a virtual-to-local community that resembles a freedom shire, only it’s private and being part of it as a netizen of any kind is strictly based on freewill participation. Imagine a service area for a Upo Shire, as a distributed virtual-to-local “city”, including around 12 or so Counties. Imagine then a new county was formed, based on a city, with its own name and identity, only instead of being in one place, parts of it, from its facilities and core infrastructure to its people, are placed within each of the constituent communities within all of the Counties.
Conceptually this can be difficult to fathom. The reader who thinks maybe this is a literal physical city or that it is just a virtual or imagined city without substance would be understandably confused. Our concept is different than those but also somewhat like those cities. We ensuing a city that is is planned, like most cities, albeit in stages and phases, with various types and levels of both virtual and physical developments arising both from the city planners and administrators on one hand and private initiative by netizens and constituent entities or subdivisions on the other hand.
Above is an illustration of service area for a distributed Upo City, with buildings, hubs, and netizens distributed throughout a larger area that includes all or parts of 20 some counties and more than 700,000 people.
Setting up the virtual space and holding local gatherings to impart the vision, gather city-builders and leaders, and creating a master development plan to guide both virtual and physical developments is the first major stage of development for such a distributed private city. In our case, we will gather people through an international platform called “The Virtual Commonwealth of Upadaria” (VCU) and, from those who become Peers of our international society, a core area chapter organization will emerge which will take on the city-building responsibilities.
As with everything we share, your idea of a virtual-to-local distributed city may differ from ours, and in a given area just as there are multiple physical cities, there may be multiple distributed private cities, although one hopes these multiple private cities, if they are freedom cities at heart, will cooperate and collaborate with one another.
These distributed private cities are real things, as we envision them: they will have some sort of city-center or hub, perhaps the size of large village, and multiple smaller hubs, little villages, all over as well as various facilities to serve their netizens. The city, as an incorporated entity, will own land and property. In our case, the lands are owned by a land trust operated by an area chapter organization for our mutual benefit, missions, and refugee support society, which local chapter acts as the private developer and administrator of the city.
We envision the proliferation of multiple distributed free cities, even in one area, as a step toward creating permanent and robust alternative institutions that protect the rights, persons, and property of their netizens, advance a free market, and grow prosperity.
As noted, and to reiterate, a key aspect of a private city is that it’s not a democracy, it’s basically a private entity that has clients, the netizens, who use the power of association and how they spend their money to give ongoing feedback within a free market environment. This is a perfect democracy: the consensus of the clients is always dynamically shared with the provider who either serves their needs or faces a loss of netizen subscribers.
Your version of a distributed freedom city may be more like a traditional city in its governance. Our version does have a governance structure and indeed a city government, but real ownership of assets isn’t democratic in the classic sense, it is the pure democracy of the free market.
The city itself starts as a sub-network within the virtual platform of Upadaria, but its physical aspects include an area chapter community of our society, a land trust, mutual benefit corporations, clubs, and other entities chartered and/or licensed by the area chapter organization.
The deliberate creation of these distributed freedom cities, whether or not it is through the Upadaria Platform as a catalyst and a local society chapter as the project developer, is the next evolution in the cause of advancing freedom for all that leaves nobody behind.
The concentration of power and authority coupled with decision-making processes not suited to specific needs and functions is leading many organizations and governments toward forms of centralized control that border on authoritarianism.
We introduce the concept of nine governments. Basically, we envision governance focused on specific areas of human action and interaction to promote human flourishing and to protect both human dignity and human rights. The present 20th century model of “one big system” (OBS) at the top of everything and everyone, is archaic and outmoded.
We have unique names for our “governments”, which give some substance to the concept, but you aren’t limited to our terms or to how we delineate corporate functions for bodies of people. The important thing is to get the concept.
The nine governments in our concept of a national regency of any people group include three primary governments; the Regium, Magisterium, and Ethnium.
The Regium is the unifying government that balances the other two, but is also accountable to both.
The Magisterium is more in accord with the Romans 13 concept of the magistrate and is limited to that role. It has three affiliated governments, however, like the balance between the Regium and the other two primary governments, it is balanced by its three governments: The Governate which is a civil government, the Civitas which is civic government, and the Agorate, which is an economic government.
The Ethnium is the government mostly associated with the Biblical concept of nationhood as a sociocultural and spiritual construct caring for the whole-person needs of individuals and maintaining a voluntary-based sociocultural standard. Its affiliate governments, which also balance itself, include the Ecclesium which is all Believers within a community or people group, the Societas which oversees social services, and the Comunis which provides the social safety net and mutual assurance through cooperation.
So we end up with a national regency, or any scale regency, consisting of some version of the Regium, Magisterium, Ethnium, Governate, Societas, Civitas, Agorate, Ecclesium, and Comunis.
Again, your breakdown may differ, as may your names. But the concept of nine governments means they balance each other, their decision-making processes fit their function, they engage all stakeholders and everyone their impact, and they work both for the good of each individual and the common good.
We also call this plurality of leadership, the idea of multiple mutually-accountable leaders who serve their constituencies as opposed to lording it over them, and with respect for human rights, human dignity, and human flourishing.
This will be presented in our new platform, Upadaria, and community governance, services and benefits, and governance will be guided by and reflect the nine governments concept. In general, if you have a community of people seeking to meet the whole person needs of individuals and the whole community, some version of governance functions related to these nine governments, by whatever name you call them, will be beneficial.
To this concept of nine governments we add the five leadership skills which must exist within each government. These include building (apostolic), guiding (pastoral), forthtelling (prophetic), proclaiming (evangelistic), and imparting (teaching).
When guided by Unity in diversity, Popular sovereignty, Democratic equality, and Rule of law, as understood from a Biblical perspective and as practiced in balance with each other, such a governance approach will optimize all functions, allow for larger scale cooperation, and not tend to concentrate power in too few hands.
The so-called “emergent church”, which has devolved to “progressive christianity”, has tended to embrace missional living. But it’s not what you think.
Pictured above- Freedomist Publisher and Upadaria First Founder Bill Collier, asks, “Are you living a missional life in serving the King (Yeshua) and His Kingdom or are you serving another gospel that isn’t rooted in historical Christian orthodoxy as found in the Bible?”
While real missional living that does justice to Biblical truth does include concrete things to serve others, especially people in need or crisis, it is not the absence of a simple and direct, and unapologetic, proclamation along the lines of, “repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.” The emergent church tends to emphasize corporate redemption, like whole families, communities, and nations, albeit mostly through good works and, increasingly, some form of centralized state handouts of benefits.
Missional living from a Biblical standpoint is absolutely “holistic” in the sense of addressing the whole person in all their needs, living out the Gospel with your whole person and in all aspects of life, and, in ADDITION to seeking the conversion of individuals, seeking the conversion and redemption of whole bodies of people, including whole national peoples.
The key aspect of missional living is a balanced application of truth (as found in Scripture, science, logic, and historic orthodoxy) with experience (spiritual encounters, personal maturation, instinct, and being led by the spirit), to serve others, proclaim the Gospel, and see both individuals and bodies of people converted and redeemed by Yeshua
The stark de-emphasis by the emergent church’s “missional living” of truth and historic orthodoxy, replaced by radical deconstructionist ideas rooted in Marx, and the shift from redemption as in salvation from sin to collective “redemption” measured in purely material terms is alarming and it isn’t missional. One cannot be said to pursue missional living and yet not be on mission with Yeshua the Christ and the Gospel of the Kingdom as it applies first and foremost to the conversion and redemption of individual human beings.
What we used to see done through physical missions, like the Alamo, is needed for us today to provide through our lives and in our homes and neighborhoods, even though the building of new missions facilities is also something that may be necessary.
In missional living we seek to proclaim the Gospel, comport ourselves ethically and morally so as to be a good example, demonstrate the effectiveness and power of the Gospel by walking in the Spirit to practice our faith, being an influence insofar as we are able through our positions and duties in society, and distributing the benefits of God’s blessings to His People for helping those in need and crisis as advocates and in providing aid and shelter.
We thereof have proclamation, exampleship, demonstration, influence, and distribution as the five core elements of missional living, with the provision that in all this we stay true to the Gospel, in accordance with God’s Word and historical Christian orthodoxy, and we keep Yeshua as the head and center of all we do.
Missional living is too much of a buzzword that is becoming watered down to something weak and pale, and, frankly, political and pro-authoritarian. It isn’t missional and it isn’t living, not as God intends living. But true missional living is to see yourself always as a missionary from the Lord to bless fellow Christians, your inner circle of friends and family, the lost, and your community, with attention to mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health in alignment with God’s standards of righteousness and justice rooted in grace, truth, and love.
From old King George to Hitler and the Soviets, from the plantation slave holders to neonazis, and from overwrought religious fanatics and the new “woke” communists, Americans have always had to contend with authoritarianism abroad and even at home. This bent toward authoritarianism can be seen in little to major outbursts throughout our history: slavery, putting down the whiskey rebellion, the trail of tears, jim crow, and the list goes on to include the anti self-preservation acts in major cities and Democrat-run states in their war against the Second Amendment.
Authoritarianism is an instinct toward the forced submission of other people to your will against their own wishes and interests, even if you, the authoritarian, imagine you know what’s best for them. Whether the authoritarian is just lording it over others like some third world tinhorn junta or some idealistic do-gooder like the prohibitionists, the effect is the same: human agency and human dignity suffer and so does human rights and human flourishing.
Throughout our country’s history the threads of the authoritarian bent versus “freedomism” have played back and forth, here and there, each sometimes gaining the upper hand. The question of whether this “land of the free and home of the brave” will be truly free or lean backwards in societal evolution toward authoritarianism remains unresolved.
Freedomism is basically the belief that all humans are spiritually sovereign beings created in the image of God with inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and wealth. Some of our core self-evident rights, if we believe in the inherent spiritual sovereignty of every individual, include self-preservation, self-determination, self-reliance, self-expression, and free participatory association. They require equitable and equal respect by ALL institutions (including government, business, and all others) for our human dignity, human agency, and the inviolate sanctity of our rights, persons, and property.
A world in which freedomism reigns supreme is a world of prosperity and happiness. A world where authoritarianism has even a little sway is a world where poverty grows, unhappiness spreads, and hate and discontent infect the populace.
Name an ill, such as racism and worker exploitation, child abuse or wealth inequities, social injustice or corruption, and a strict adherance to the spirit and heart of freedomism would substantially mitigate or solve that problem. But authoritarianism can never, ever, solve such problems. It isn’t organic or human in its foundation. It is akin to the introduction of one invasive species to solve the problem of another invasive species that becomes a far worse problem.
If you complain about “gun violence” and your instinct is to outlaw guns, then you are, to some degree, embracing authoritarianism. This knee-jerk response won’t solve the core problem of violence and criminality which results from a lack of respect for the rights, persons, and property of others. This disrespect for basic human dignity by the criminals and malefactors stems from the blatant disrespect meted out by our major institutions, including academia, the press, major corporations, and the government.
It has become fashionable to paint your authoritarianism in the colors of social justice and equity. The modern American “woke communist” isn’t like the Leninists or Maoists, per se, but more like the modern Chinese. They create a wicked partnership between woke communists in the corporate world and woke communists in the government. The supreme “woke communist” shot-callers don’t sound or look like the communists of old.
The evolution of communism from a strict state-ownership model to a partnership between Party loyalists in all institutions, including private and public, acting in ruthless disregard for basic human dignity, is alarming. It may have fooled too many people for too long who were looking for the classic neosoviet or maoist communist.
The basic essence of the communist model isn’t necessarily “state ownership of the means of production.” That’s so 19th and 20th century. The basic common thread is the use of authoritarianism to produce a society of managed outcomes. It requires the atomization of each individual so that they can be molded and shaped into a new type of human being. The modern equivalent of the “Soviet Man” is the “woke individual.” But, like the Soviet Man, the woke individual becomes a mere cog in a machine that uses bogeyman fears and utopian promises to keep everyone in line.
It’s all authoritarianism. While it is good to know the main new authoritarian threat that exists today, it is useful both to see the overall authoritarianism thread throughout human history and to be careful lest we also fall prey to the siren call.
Authoritarianism is essentially a lazy, quick-fix, silver bullet approach to problem solving at the level of society itself. Just cut the gordian knot by mandating that people become whatever you imagine in your theories they should become and, while some dissenters may be “necessarily” punished and harmed for the “common good”, the end justifies the means. The managed progressive evolution of society, in our manifestation of authoritarianism that seems to be a genderless and undifferentiated mass of atomized individuals without faith or family, demands that we punish those who hinder the advancement we have planned!
If your ideas aren’t such that people can adopt and use them for individual and mutual profit solely on the basis of freewill participation, then your ideas are total garbage. If your idea cannot flourish unless it shows intolerance towards all who don’t accept it or want to practice it, then, also, your idea is garbage.
Authoritarianism is tempting for three reasons: the submitter no longer bears personal responsibility for their actions or welfare, the imposer gains the wicked satisfaction of lording it over others, and the theorist satisfies themselves that they have magically solved the perceived societal problems with a simple solution.
Overbearing parents, machismo husbands, the karens and kens, and henpecking wives all have the spirit of authoritarianism bubbling up within their souls. Among the authoritarians and their followers there is no doubt this bent toward dominating others and disrespecting their basic human dignity is strong, and yet always “justified.”
The war between authoritarianism and freedomism is ancient and will never end. Even if we Freedomists gained the upper hand in America, the next generation would always be faced with some new manifestation of the authoritarian spirit. Some humans bend toward a wicked desire to control other humans and use all kinds of sophistry, including bogeyman fears and utopian promises, to justify their own inhumanity.
Today it is the woke communist that is our chief threat, a domestic foe to our freedom. The woke communist doesn’t just want state ownership of the means of production but a hybrid partnership of corporate and government power under the single control of the Party. Like all communists, they want a communalized society where the few lord over the many, but for their own good.
There are those within every institution, including the church world and the Republican Party, who collaborate with our modern woke communists. But the Party of Woke Communism today is the Democratic Party, even if most registered Democrats are, at worse, merely collaborators, but mostly just duped followers who know no better.
These woke communists go by many names, they seem to want to confuse everyone from seeing them as a whole. Their names include progressives, social justice warriors, social democrats, liberals (a misnomer to be sure), leftists, the new left, and on and on it goes. But all are cut from the same cloth: they want a communized society of undifferentiated and atomized individuals without faith or family led by a coterie of top-down authorities who know what is best for everybody.
We shouldn’t be fooled by their masks, their bogeyman fears, their utopian promises, or their dialectal approach whereby they hijack and use the very institutions (churches, the press, and corporations, as examples) their ideological forbears (Lenin and Mao) sought to destroy. Arrogance, hubris, and intolerance are the heart of the modern “cancel culture”, a new phrase for an old trick: demonize, marginalize, and criminalize your opponents but never debate them openly and honestly because your dark ideas are pure hell to anyone with half a brain who can see them for what they are.
Imagine a society of people who have no faith or family, who have no gender, and who are an undifferentiated mass whose only purpose is to live out their most basic animal desires and who feel no personal responsibility for their well-being or their actions. This is quite literally a species-ending hellscape being purposefully pushed by woke communists whose shot-callers (unbeknownst to most rank and file followers) simply want a monopoly on everything over everyone.
The good news is, it’s never going to get to that place. The bad news is, the journey of discovery, whereby a strong plurality of people truly resist and overcome this insanity, may get ugly for multiple generations.
But while we focus today on the threat of authoritarianism from “the left”, understand that authoritarianism takes many forms and, to some degree, as human beings with a sinful nature, it can arise within each of us. The religious zealot who thinks God needs help enforcing His laws, through the power of the state, is just as bad as the woke communist, but, let’s be real, those types truly have no institutional power to speak of in the broader society. At worse they may have outsized influence in backwater towns time has forgotten.
Regardless, the overarching war isn’t left and right per se, and it isn’t even just us against woke communist, that is just the primary battle of the moment as the new modern champion of authoritarianism is primarily the woke communist.
You may ask, “how can a billionaire robber baron be a woke communist?” The answer is simple: they believe their wealth and power allow them to have a hand in managing society for the common good. In short, they are full of themselves. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is the quintessential woke communist front and, before their divorce, these two fancied themselves among the world’s most “woke” who, using their wealth and power, would usher in the next evolution of humanity and save the world from climate change.
The billionaire snob whose wealth and power is used to advance the woke communist way is no different than the well-fed, privileged party bigwigs who ran the Soviet Union. The methods change but the end is the same: society will be atomized and then communized and only the woke institutions controlled as a monopoly by the ruling class will have power.
We are in the atomization phase, using gender and new definitions of marriage and family to disconnect people from natural, organic bonds and make them individuals, all alone and powerless, a nameless cog within an undifferentiated mass.
The communization phase only follows the atomization phase. And it is precisely in this atomization phase that the fight is won or lost for the next few generations. If the atomization phase, and the destruction of faith and family, (which is a state of being wherein most children are raised by their own biological or adopted mother and father within the warm embrace of a strictly voluntary faith-based community) is left unchecked, the communization phase will be easy.
Real totalitarianism, which is the extreme and most violent form of authoritarianism, necessarily follows. But this can take years and will always be sincerely denied: indeed, the progenitors themselves may not even desire totalitarianism but they cannot see that this is the only possible outcome if their ideas prevail. For example, in 2021, President Biden may have been no authoritarian, or totalitarian, but he has been forced to bend the knee and at least give symbolic gifts to actually woke communists whose core ideas can only end in totalitarianism.
Unlike the woke communists, our vision of a society of spiritually sovereign equal human beings rooted in faith and family is strictly based on freewill participation. We do not need or want laws or coercion to compel people to live as we do. We believe that a free and pluralistic society of equals will tend to be a marketplace of ideas where the most fruitful ideas tend to attract the most people and resources.
If your definition of marriage and family or your faith (or absence of faith) differs but you agree that we have the inherent spiritual sovereignty and agency to form any bonds or freewill participatory associations we choose, then we can easily get along as friends and allies. A free and pluralistic society of equals can sustain many versions and definitions of faith and family and the marketplace of ideas will organically sort the best and worst ideas.
This begins to touch on our concept of “nationhood” as a spiritual union, purely based on freewill participatory association, of equals who have a shared spiritually-centered social, cultural, and economic value system and goals both for the individual’s profit and the common good of the whole. Even if your definition of nationhood differs, our desire isn’t to make you follow our concept of nationhood (as a spiritual construct) but to prevent others from stopping us from doing so.
Our vision isn’t political. Our chief political aim is the devolution of political, fiscal, cultural, monetary, economic and even magisterial authority back from the concentrated center and top of society to the individuals in their marriages, families, extended families, freewill participatory associations, faith or philosophy based communities, and their locales.
The process of devolution of centralized and top-down power and the deepest manifestation of freedom for individuals within the loving embrace of faith and family, is evolutionary as well. It is not all-political. In fact, its strongest foundation is the individual adopting this “ideology” (becoming a Freedomist) and embracing faith and family as their primary reality and the institutions to which they give their primary loyalty.
We begin with not merely confronting the atomization process as a means towards the communization of society but by intentionally rebuilding the very institutions under assault, faith and family in particular. It is not that we don’t want others to manifest faith and family as they believe it should be, this is never an authoritarian approach because that approach always undermines our entire vision for a free and pluralistic society of equals!
Our approach is to push back on all authoritarian responses by any entity that seems to use its wealth and power as a leverage to force or strongly manipulate people into doing what they think everyone should be doing. The question is not the legal rights of these “private” entities, it is a moral and ethical question of whether those with outsized economic or cultural power should abuse it in a way that violates the dignity and agency of other human beings.
Even though we do not sign on to political controls to weaken mega corporate powers who are trying to impose the woke communist way, this doesn’t mean we don’t seek to reduce their influence and control through other means, such as opting out and/or competition. We generally oppose political controls because they are not a good means and therefore cannot produce a good end.
As an example, Facebook was within its right to ban President Trump, but its ability to control a major portion of public discourse through its near monopoly power, in collusion with other platforms, is both unethical (but not illegal) and, more importantly, unwanted by us.
We don’t care why the platforms do what they do. We suspect their owners are either outright woke communists or collaborators who think they can appease the woke communists, whose radical, loud, and violent demands they fear. The net effect is that the power of the platforms, like every other major US institution, has been harnessed mostly to the benefit of the woke communists, even if that is not their intention.
An authoritarian response to the alleged wokeness of the platforms may boomerang upon us like the “Patriot Act” which was crafted to fight America’s enemies but which is now used against Americans whose only “crime” is not being a woke communist, one of their followers and/or beneficiaries, or at least a collaborator.
Authoritarianism is the true and ancient foe to freedomism, but today it takes the primary form within America of woke communism. This, not climate change or alleged white supremacy, which may indeed be threats, is the number one existential threat to America and especially to freedom within America.
When or if we defeat the woke communists in our era, there will be other forms of authoritarianism we must guard against, and, no doubt, some new manifestation of communism, the communization of society, will rear its disgusting mug and call itself glorious and beautiful!
Bill Collier- I have achieved some level of “success” in life, namely, I work for myself at home making better than upper middle class income doing things that are my passion most of the time. There is great harmony between what pays me and what I genuinely enjoy doing.
I say this to make the point that what I am about to share isn’t theory. It isn’t pop psychology. These five secrets to what success I have experienced were learned, used, and refined over decades and have served me well.
Briefly, the five secrets are: make relationships the brass ring of your life, be willing to say yes to things you aren’t sure you can do, always hustle smartly not just through activity, make others profit off of you not just you from them, and learn to use charisma and charm effectively but never manipulate!
If you only do these things to gain profit or if you start doing them and expect immediate results, you will likely fail and be disappointed. These secrets to success are colored by an overarching understanding that success is about time, stamina, and chance.
Nothing guarantees success. You can do all the right things and success can elude you. Over time, if you persist, you will get more and more opportunities, each new opportunity being a new roll of the dice, a new opportunity, to get that good contract or promotion or what have you. But in doing this, you must also have stamina: the longer you can keep at it day after day, the greater the odds are you will remain standing when that opportunity arrives.
This approach basically acknowledges that time, stamina, and chance make it probable that the odds will even out and favor you eventually. You are the house in this case and the house almost always wins.
Of course there are other things too, not covered in this brief essay, related to finding the inner push of your life and aligning that in a realistic way with market demands while doing the necessary qualifying things so you can function in the arena of your choice. If your inner push is to be an electrician, you will need an education and licensing, for instance, but you will also want to live in an area where demand for you is good.
Finally, and this is also important, whatever you do, you should focus on a portable skill, something you can do that others will pay for and that you can do on your own for anyone, anywhere, who needs it. If your skill is operating a factory machine, that’s not portable, you can only do that there. Perhaps you should learn how to be a handyman and offer services to your neighbors on the side, as an example.
Now, back to the four secrets.
The first is to make relationships the brass ring in life. Cultivating and maintaining good and close relationships with multiple people is a powerful way to ensure many new opportunities and ideas always come your way. But it’s not about that: when things aren’t great materially, you will find satisfaction and happiness in your relationships.
To be a friend, the Bible teaches us, you must show yourself friendly. Learn whay friendship means and how to cultivate relationships, set healthy boundaries, give both reciprocally and unconditionally, and to show and accept philial and agape love.
I can say, in the course of any week, I hear and/or say “I love you” from multiple people who are like kin to me. This is, to me, the greatest measure of success in life, the true brass ring.
I don’t pursue relationships for any reason but that they are in and of themselves rewarding. But, at the same time, my network of close friends, which is over a dozen people, is also the primary reason why I consistently have new opportunities to sell my portable skills.
Again, be very careful! I did not start pursuing relationships as a means to an end, I genuinely value relationships. I try to keep them alive and enjoy them as something of intrinsic value. I have friends who constantly share opportunities with me but also many who work in totally different arenas who cannot provide me any opportunities, but that hasn’t meant those relationships aren’t valuable to me.
I am picky about who remains in my circle, I avoid anyone who tends to be negative, who tends to be transactional, and who doesn’t always have high ethics or show good intentions.
Be willing to say yes to things you aren’t sure you can do, but that align more of less with your core skills.
I was once asked if I could lobby for a specific cause. I knew the basic idea and it would require skills like charisma and speaking well along with political strategy. But I had never lobbier formally. So I said yes because I knew there were experts I did know and books I could read quickly.
I speed read books on the legal ins and outs, got a piece of software on public relations templates, talked to some experts I was referred to by a friend, and within a few days launched a successful lobbying effort.
Being willing to say yes to what you cannot do is predicated on being able to learn quickly, being able to connect to experts, and knowing that for most things anyone wants to pay you there are people who already provide such services. I don’t say yes to things I cannot immediately do if I don’t have these things, but some of my most lucrative moments have come from things I had to access learning materials, experts, and outside providers to do.
Always hustle smartly and not just through activity!
I have been involved in sales where activity became the benchmark of meeting goals. Smart people didn’t focus on the number of calls or door knocks, they looked for ways to automate the process, maybe through fliers or ads or holding events.
Ask yourself how you are making money and where. If your profession and the things you love doing aren’t needed in your town, consider moving. If you you are doing laborious tasks to make sales, what can you do to increase your exposure smartly so leads come to you?
It is somewhat of a myth that “hard work pays off.” Smart work done with gusto, diligence, and intensity pays off over time. Be excellent, be smart, and be efficient. Always ask others who know better what this means and how to do it and submit your work to criticism to make adjustments. Use accountability to others to motivate and inspire you.
Make others profit from you, and not just you them, and you will never absolutely lack for opportunities.
There are people every week calling me to help them with projects. Some simply use my services as a white label of their own, some get commissions for the referral, and most use my services to leverage their own knowing they can’t get the full deal without having what I provide.
I am generous with my time, I help people without getting paid and am transparent with how they can do things I do on their own. This is part of being relational. I did this because I care for my friends and want to help, and yet in the process I found that doing this demonstrated my skills and made that person more likely to engage my services or ask me to help them with a project.
People have profited from my work and my services immensely. And without this, I would not constantly have a chance that the phone rings and what seemed like a every unprofitable month becomes very profitable overnight. Be generous with others, make sure they profit from using your services or products, make sure you benefit them materially as much as possible.
This last one is harder to define. It is to learn and use your charisma and charm without being manipulative. If you are using charisma and charm to get someone to do things that benefit you and not themselves, then you are a creep and a user. Invest in others, always, even without a return, and never let them benefit you solely without rewarding them and considering their needs.
Charisma and charm are necessary ingredients to success. Research them, learn them, practice them. Not everyone has as much charisma and charm as others, but everyone has some and there is a range of improvement you can gain through skills training and practice.
Think of these things, charisma and charm, as skills. Learn what they are. Find people, books, or courses about how to exercise charisma and how to be charming, which is in part learning good manners and protocol for your area of expertise or profession and the community of people in your life.
These are five secrets to success.
Now some will say they just can’t do all of any of these. Some people are happy and content without a huge level of income and influence, they may never need to be doing these things. Others who want more influence and income should know that unless you can do all of these things, you cannot realistically expect to succeed.
Woke. It’s really not a good word in today’s vernacular as it really means anything but woke. Like the SA under Hitler with their “Germany Awake” slogan, “woke” is the clarion call of totalitarianism. Woke means you buy into the delusional myths and bogeyman fears as well as the totalitarian solutions to these fake or histrionic problems.
We are witnessing the creation of a woke wasteland, especially in the schools, colleges and universities, so-called “press”, and in sports and entertainment. The woke ideology of bogeymen, gender-bending, faux “justice”, and, now, “outcome equity”, is driving an agenda of intolerance. You may not care about or even want to hear about the woke cancel culture, but it is coming for you. Saying things like “silence is violence”, the woke cancel culture warriors demand that you loudly support them and participate in all their actions or get canceled.
The culture and institutions of this country are being turned against the people who live here who never imagined they would see a day when, for instance, merely being white makes you racist and merely loving our Bill of Rights gets you on the government’s suspect list.
There is a solution, but it’s not to be found on becoming a lone prepper waiting for the zombie invasion or even in winning the next election. The solution is to build freedom unilaterally but not alone. The solution is found in something no less than a new form and adoption of “nationhood” wherein the “nation” isn’t a race or a country but a spiritual identity that reflects shared beliefs, values, and convictions.
This may seem a bit counter-intuitive because for many nationality is basically a combination of citizenship, as in being an American, ethnicity based on ancestry, or “race”, like being a person of color or a white person.
And, you might ask, “what does me choosing a nationality that isn’t my ethnicity, race, or citizenship have to do with building freedom?”
Nationality, when understood in the proper light of ancient blueprints, offers three tangible ways to build freedom: it offers easy organic cohesiveness with lots of people you don’t personally know but who you can trust, it offers a mindset for building freedom that defends your mind from the pollution of constant propaganda, and it offers the supernatural provision that only comes to and through “nations whose God is the Lord.”
When you adopt a new form of nationhood based on a spiritual nation, a nation whose God is the Lord and who ideals and principles reflect your own Christian convictions, you take the first steps toward unilaterally building freedom in your life in a way not even the woke brigades can penetrate.
Nationhood, as a shared identity and way of life that connects you with many other people, is the best way to overcome the constant pressure to conform and it is the only practical way larger groups of people can easily cooperate and connect for mutual benefit without relying on top-down systems of control.
Put another way, if you love America, as in the founding principles of freedom with liberty and justice for all but all within a more socially conservative and Judeo-Christian worldview, then chances are what we offer in terms of nationhood is actually exactly what you need.
There’s a lot to this. There is an entire framework and blueprint for an entire new civilizational paradigm with detailed prescriptions and ideas, worked out through decades of research and experience, inspired by some rather interesting and, some might say, supernatural encounters from whence a massive vision emerged.
The Bible says, “blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord”, and therein lies the heart of the matter. A nation is not a race, it’s not limited to your biological ancestors, and it’s definitely not based on citizenship or your political state. A nation is something spiritual, it reflects an identity one adopts as both an extension of themselves and as something they willingly share with others.
When you know your spiritual nationality has certain ideals, principles, and practices that reflect core beliefs, values, and convictions, you have the means of keeping garbage out of your head. You also have a way to connect with others and build meaningful ways to experience real freedom together.
In the woke wasteland you are either an oppressor or oppressed but the solution is always the same: let the woke brigades, their leaders, and their paymasters run your life with an iron grip. By literally choosing a new form of nationhood, with no past, you step out of your designated role of servitude as either a penitent oppressor or powerless victim of oppression.
We can begin a process that ends as whole new major sociocultural and socioeconomic structures and institutions emerge, from the web to your neighborhood, all outside the influence or control of the woke brigades. We can determine our future and not let these totalitarian loons choose it for us!
Happiness isn’t easily defined, because that sense or feeling we call happiness can come from many things. But in human terms and within the finite limits of our temporal reality, the kind of happiness that carries you through unhappy times and that warms in its embrace comes mostly through something our society has lost.
We live in a corporate and state controlled top-down collective (corporatized) kind of society but as isolated, lonely (atomized) individuals whose real connections of trust and affection are shallow and weak. We have a desire and felt need for happiness, which cannot be handed out as a government benefit or acheived.through corporate success.
But what we are missing is, basically, the warm, affectionate, and nurturing embrace of the small village or neighborhood with around 120 adults who are either family by blood or by choice. These extended multi-family household groups of around 120 adults, with families centered on a mother and father raising their biological or adopted children, were essential to the human experience for millenia, in more advanced societies.
This doesn’t mean everyone in the past had this, but it was the ideal and it was more prevalent.
If all action is a response to a felt need, then actual needs not felt may go unmet, which damages our psyche, while things we feel as needs but could or should live without, we indulge. The warm embrace of a larger connected community of people who consider themselves kin is a real human need, we propose, but it is not a felt need.
The advantages of such a form of kinship community are many, while the disadvantages, we further propose, are generally few. A kinship community would be a better social safety net, it would offer connections and networks to help you in business and your career, and it would be able to meet needs, this making you far less dependent on the government and corporations outside your community.
Would this change how and with whom you spend your time? Yes. But shifting your attention and time away from virtual to personal space and going from merely watching content to engagement with others can’t be bad for you!
Would it mean you have less agency as an individual? The answer is no because as an atomized individual who is abjectly dependent upon corporate monopolies and the government, you have no real agency. As a participant in some form of kinship community, you would have more say and influence over the customs and standards that govern you than you do now.
We have a conviction that totally rubs against this culture: a kinship community of around 120 adults who act as kin is in effect what wholly constitutes a family. These types of communites are the best defense against collectivization and authoritarianism. They are the best launching pad and social support system, and safety net, for individual fulfillment.
In our society is we ask about where you live and who you live with, the answer will tend toward a single domicile within a large entity, like a whole city, and as to who you live with, it’s basically the people in your single domicile.
Generally speaking, though this is changing, the sanctity of the home was such nobody dictating who could live there or interfered without good cause. But this used to be the case for a larger kinship community of around 50 to as much as 150 mostly related adults from a few (3-5) extended families. The sanctity line, the line where outside entities like the government or other entities rarely crossed, was further removed from the individual. That line was the whole village or neighborhood of mostly related people.
What if our society, or even parts of it, established the notion that whenever a group of people who were related or who felt themselves kin clustered together in their own village or neighborhood that no outside entity intruded without very good cause?
Take the fair housing law, which we support in principle. A couple who cosign a lease, for instance, isn’t told who their partner can be. Nobody is telling that couple who they can adopt or whether they should have ‘x” number of kids. But if you rent, lease, or sell space to the public, society has deemed, and we agree in principle, you cannot discriminate on the basis of age, race, sex, religion, and the like.
The kinship community, however, if it is viewed as a whole, single family unit, should have the same way of determining who it shares its time and space based on kinship of some kind.
In other words, we propose that a kinship community of 50-150 mostly related adults and/or adults who see one another as kin, is the first at-scale and most essential core constituent entity of civilization itself. In our view, this kinship should be based on actual blood kinship between related people and/or a form of shared sociocultural identity and values that is organically cohesive.
Artificially creating a kinship community of all white people is antithetical to what we propose. When you desire to isolate from or look down on others for things others than their individual character as human beings, then you are inviting intolerance and bigotry, which are authoritarian ideas.
Since these kinds of kinship communities today would mostly have to be made up of people who are not blood related, we would strongly suggest that forming any such community based on race is not a step in the right direction. Kinship with people not related by blood comes from deeply shared beliefs and values, not from shallow nations of race, which is one of the more absurd social constructs of human civilization.
The thing is, and this is the point, we propose that a kinship community of some kind is necessary and needed for happiness and for an advanced civilization with good morals and high culture. An advanced civilization strongly relies on the individual as sovereign within the nurturing embrace of something like a kinship community.
Today we lack this. We will have to reinvent this before it is too late and our final devolution to an atomized and undifferentiated mass of people within a collective machine is complete. What follows that can only be described by the scariest dystopian fiction.
What is needed for deep and abiding happiness that endures even unhappy times is the reinvention of the kinship community as the essential element of an advanced form of human civilization.
