President Donald Trump’s first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, is suing the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in a bid to quash a subpoena for his testimony and phone records.

The lawsuit was filed Tuesday in the federal district court for Fort Myers, Fla., one day before Flynn was scheduled to appear before the committee to testify.

In the 42-page filing, Flynn alleged the committee’s request was an “outrageous intrusion” that risked violating his First, Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights.

“The subpoena demands records of General Flynn’s communications about the 2020 election, and seeks to identify the basis for his beliefs and the persons with whom he associated, in addition to contacts with government officials. It thus constitutes a frontal assault on his 1st Amendment rights to freedom of speech, association, and petition,” the suit reads.

“Without intervention by this Court, General Flynn faces the harm of being irreparably and illegally coerced to produce information and testimony in violation of the law and his constitutional rights,” it continues. “He will also be illegally and irreparably harmed by the Select Committee’s unlawful and secret seizure of his and his family’s personal information from their telecommunications and/or electronic mail service providers.”

In the northern province of Cabo Delgado, Africa last week, suspected ISIS-linked extremists beheaded a pastor, then forced his wife to carry his severed head to police.

According to International Christian Concern (ICC), the pastor’s identity has not been released yet and he was a resident of the Nova Zambezia area.

Zimbabwe Daily also reported the incident, saying the pastor’s wife told police that “suspected Islamic State-linked insurgents intercepted the pastor in a field, decapitated him and then handed over his head to his wife and ordered her to inform the authorities.”

Following the pastor’s death, ISIS boasted that its affiliate had murdered dozens of security personnel and Christians, including westerners in what they called “Crusader nations.”

Islamic extremists have unleashed a reign of terror in northern Mozambique, leaving churches burned to the ground, people beheaded, and tens of thousands displaced and traumatized.

But the friendly match quickly turned tragic.

According to KLAS-TV, Valencia, a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, collapsed shortly after his bout. Four days later, the outlet reported, he was dead.

His family told the outlet that Valencia suffered brain injuries that led to his death in a hospital.

That Committee appears satisfied with the results of the call. This is the same committee still committed to doing the Beijing Olympics while China continues its elimination of the Uyghurs and executes dissidents without any trial whatsoever.
The WTA, which is not so China dependent, it would seem, is not satisfied and is still pressing for more investigations and accountability by the Chinese government, lest that government potentially face sanctions from the WTA itself.

The drones allegedly attacked munitions warehouses for militia unit deopyed in al-Bukamal in Syria. The base is at the Iraqi-Syrian border

There were no reported casualties, though considerable munitions losses occured. The Syrian government has yet to issue an official statement, leading some to speculate this assault was more than likely the work of competing militias in the region.

A Syrian war monitor reported an air attack Wednesday on Iran-affiliated forces in eastern Syria followed by large columns of militia trucks coming to the area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) based in London quoted its sources in Syria that unknown aircraft, possibly drones, attacked warehouses in al-Bukamal belonging to Iran-commanded militia forces in the early hours of Wednesday. The report said that the attack might have come from Israel, or the International Coalition headed by the United States.

SOHR said the “attacks destroyed the arms and ammunition warehouses and caused huge explosions”, but no casualties have been reported.
