Jay Greene, senior research fellow at the foundation’s Center for Education Policy, and James Paul, director of research at the Educational Freedom Institute, co-authored the December report, titled “Inclusion Delusion: The Antisemitism of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Staff at Universities.”

The study should help people understand that the “nice-sounding words” of diversity, equity and inclusion are “masking university programs that actually spew hate and division, particularly with respect to Jews,” Greene told The College Fix via email.

The study concluded DEI staff are “particularly unwelcoming toward Jewish students,” noting that this attitude may promote antisemitic sentiments at universities.

80 Percent of Gene-Screen Abortions Tests Are False

Abortion-Backing Nets Ignore NYT Report Gene Tests Wrong Up to 93%

In a heartbreaking report out on Saturday, The New York Times detailed how prenatal blood tests for genetic defects used in some cases to justify an abortion were wrong between 81 and 93 percent of the time, as the companies boast near-perfect results. But the pro-abortion advocates in the liberal broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) didn’t want their viewers to know that terrible statistic.

And since the broadcast networks didn’t want to cover the story on their flagship newscasts, that left Fox News Channel to inform the public more broadly. “Prenatal genetic testing pushed on thousands of moms-to-be every year, but a stunning new report from The New York Times suggests the results could be wrong more often than not,America Reports co-host John Roberts announced on Monday.

“Accuracy, obviously, is vital because these tests results can determine if the pregnancy is terminated or if a child is born or not,” correspondent William La Jeunesse followed up. “But…

Barely 21 percent of registered voters strongly approve of President Joe Biden’s job performance, a Politico/Morning Consult poll found on Wednesday.

While those who strongly approve of Biden’s performance barely reached the twenties, nearly 40 percent strongly disapprove of Biden’s job performance.

Overall, Biden’s job approval is underwater by ten percentage points. Forty-three percent approved of Biden’s performance, while 53 percent disapproved.

The poll also revealed Biden’s favorability rating has sunk to negative territory by six points. Forty-five percent viewed Biden favorably. A majority of 51 percent viewed Biden unfavorably.

When registered voters were asked whether Biden’s America is headed in the correct direction, 63 percent said the nation is headed down the wrong track. Only 37 percent said it was headed in the right direction.

Effort to Create Worldwide Ban on Killer Robots Begins

As drone warfare expands and becomes more and more part of our everyday lives, the question of limitations on what are effectively killer robots is now becoming more pitched, with a recent move to introduce legislation to ban killer robots worldwide through the Inhumane Weapons Convention, or the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons, CCW.

Killer Robots Aren’t Science Fiction. A Push to Ban Them is Growing.

From Yahoo News

Excerpt:

This year, for the first time, a majority of the 125 nations that belong to an agreement called the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons, or CCW, said they wanted curbs on killer robots. But they were opposed by members that are developing these weapons, most notably the United States and Russia.

The group’s conference concluded Friday with only a vague statement about considering possible measures acceptable to all. The Campaign to Stop Killer Robots, a disarmament group, said the outcome fell “drastically short.”

What is the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons?

The CCW, sometimes known as the Inhumane Weapons Convention, it is a framework of rules that ban or restrict weapons considered to cause unnecessary, unjustifiable and indiscriminate suffering, such as incendiary explosives, blinding lasers and booby traps that don’t distinguish between fighters and civilians. The convention has no provisions for killer robots.

South Africa Suggest Omicron a Hype Train

While many parts of America prepare to shut down over the spreading threat of Omicron, South African numbers, where Omicron appears to have originated, suggest the hype might not nearly be met by the actual threat, as Omicron appears to be significantly less harmful to humans than the Delta variant is.

South Africa study suggests lower risk of hospitalization with Omicron, but will other countries see the same?

London – People infected with the Omicron variant of the coronavirus may face less risk of severe illness and hospitalization than those who catch Delta, a new study out of South Africa, which has not yet been peer reviewed, said Wednesday. But scientists warned that the findings could be a result of high levels of population immunity in South Africa due to previous coronavirus infections, and not an indication that Omicron is less severe.

The study found that people in South Africa who were diagnosed with Omicron between October 1 and November 30 were 80% less likely to be hospitalized than those diagnosed with another variant during that period. Once in the hospital during that period, however, the patients — no matter which variant they were diagnosed with — were just as likely to develop severe disease.

But compared to patients who were hospitalized with Delta between April and November, those hospitalized with Omicron in October and November were 70% less likely to…

Obamacare Spikes as Coronavirus Cancels Workplace Healthcare

A record number of Americans have signed up for health plans through the Affordable Care Act’s marketplaces for 2022, after Congress lowered the cost of Obamacare insurance and the pandemic rocked many Americans’ employer-provided coverage.

The Department of Health and Human Services said on Wednesday that 13.6 million people had enrolled in coverage that will begin on Jan. 1, more than in any previous year of the program. Enrollment remains open until Jan. 15 for those who want coverage that would begin in February.

“What a great day it is to really see how the programs are working as they are intended,” Chiquita Brooks-LaSure, the administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which manages the marketplaces, told reporters on a conference call.

The Biden administration has invested heavily in promoting the availability of insurance subsidies under the Affordable Care Act, and expanded the network of professionals available to help people enroll. But Ms….

U Tun Tun Hein, a central executive committee member of the ousted National League for Democracy (NLD), was initially put under house arrest in Naypyitaw during the military coup on Feb. 1.

Donald Trump has sued New York state attorney general, Letitia James, seeking to halt her long-running investigation of his business practices, the New York Times reported on Monday.

The paper said Trump’s suit alleges that James, a Democrat, “is guided solely by political animus and a desire to harass, intimidate, and retaliate against a private citizen who she views as a political opponent”.

James recently said she would seek to question the former president under oath in January. Her investigation could only result in civil charges, not criminal.

Trump’s business affairs are also being investigated in New York by the Manhattan district attorney, Cyrus Vance. That is a criminal investigation.

Facebook bet big on the metaverse by changing its name to Meta and now Seoul has become the first city to buy in on the hype.

Seoul is the first local government in Korea to develop a comprehensive long-term plan for a metaverse. The city plans to establish a platform for ‘contactless communication’ by the end of 2022.

‘The fourth industrial revolution, and the explosion of the “untact” culture during corona, demand a change in the way we deliver public service by building a Metaverse Seoul platform,’ said the virtual avatar of Mayor Oh Se-hoon, during a September announcement.

The project is a part of Mayor Oh’s 10-year plan to position Seoul as a global hub for emerging technology. The metaverse project is estimated to cost nearly $34 million over five years.

The project has been tentatively named ‘Metaverse…
