North Carolina One Step Closer to Joining States Banning CRT

On a mostly partisan vote of 25-17, the North Carolina Senate passed new rules that would seek to limit race relations lessions from schools.  The billis called the Ensuring Dignity & Nondiscrimination/Schools. Act.

The key red flag in this bill from a Bill of Rights standpoint is this, (7) the belief that the United States is a meritocracy is racist or sexist or was created by members of a particular race or sex to oppress members of another race or sex.

For a school to teach that particular perspective as objective fact might be highly problematic to a pluralistic Democratic-Republic bounded by a Bill of Rights based Constitution.  But for a school to teach that particular perspective as a perspective, and not fact, seems to go beyond protecting the rights of children to not be discriminated against because of their gender, their sexual orientation,  their race, their religion, or even their political views.

For the most part, this bill seems to mostly do just that.

Here is the key summary from that act:
Prohibits public school units from promoting seven specified belief concepts as follows: (1) one race or sex is inherently superior to another race or sex; (2) an individual, solely by virtue of his or her race or sex, is inherently racist, sexist, or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously; (3) an individual should be discriminated against or receive adverse treatment solely or partly because of his or her race or sex; (4) an individual’s moral character is necessarily determined by his or her race or sex; (5) an individual, solely by virtue of his or her race or sex, bears responsibility for actions committed in the past by other members of the same race or sex; (6) any individual, solely by virtue of his or her race or sex, should feel discomfort, guilt, anguish, or any other form of psychological distress; and (7) the belief that the United States is a meritocracy is racist or sexist or was created by members of a particular race or sex to oppress members of another race or sex. Defines promote to include three types of actions: (1) compelling students or school employees to affirm or profess the seven described belief concepts; (2) including the described belief concepts in educational or professional settings in a way that reasonably appears to sponsor, approve or endorse them; or (3) contracting, hiring, or engaging persons for the purpose of advocating the described belief concepts. Specifies that the statute does not prohibit constitutionally protected speech; individually accessing materials that advocate the described belief concepts for research or independent study; or stating the described belief concepts or assigning materials that incorporate such concepts for educational purposes in contexts that make clear the public school unit does not sponsor, approve, or endorse such concepts or work.

Read the full bill here.

But this last part might even assuage some of the fears I expressed above, “Specifies that the statute does not prohibit constitutionally protected speech; individually accessing materials that advocate the described belief concepts for research or independent study; or stating the described belief concepts or assigning materials that incorporate such concepts for educational purposes in contexts that make clear the public school unit does not sponsor, approve, or endorse such concepts or work.”

Here, it seems the bill is careful to alllow for the expression of opinion and the introduction of ideas that might reflect even some of the beliefs this bill is specifically targeting the schools not to teach kids.

This bill seems to be as good a faith an effort as you can make to trying to walk the line between assuring government-run schools are not fundamentally violating the rights of its students and their parents by teaching children ideas that are violations in and of themselves of our Bill of Rights foundation as a people, as Americans.

As I’ve said many times before, we are a pluralistic land, in point of fact, and we need, as a people who are here, who can exchange value with one another across multiple political, religious, philosophical divides, so long as we share the same civic governance standards, and for this nation, those standards are the Bill of Rights.  These are the only remaining standards that make us American at all.  Without them, no one is American anymore.

And for me, America is worth attempting to hold on to, at her core, if not her outward veneer, the most recent one of the past, and certainly not the one we have today, a new veneer, where the Bill of Rights values are extended not just in governmental halls, but in public squares and marketplaces as well, for all who interact in those spaces, the owners, the workers, the customers, etc.

Of course, the devil is in the details, and it remains to be seen what final form this bill will take, but, for now, while I do not believe they need item seven, I think the ‘does not prohibit’ clause leaves plenty of room to express a multiplicities of perspectives on what was, what is, and might be, in an American context, respecting the Bills of Rights of the students and the parents regpardless of your personal beliefs as an agent of the government.

I think this is a reasonable request.

South Korea Setting “Fake News” Fear Precedent to Create Censorship Law

The South Koreans might be showing the American DNC (an oxymoron that was difficult to even write) how to use fear of misinformation by uneducated and unaware people conditioned that way by their own government schools and DNC-owned media machines to create unconstitutional censorship laws.

South Korea’s ruling party is set to push through a bill stepping up penalties for “fake news,” with international media groups arguing the measure could hamper press freedoms and opposition lawmakers saying it’s intended to silence critics.

President Moon Jae-in’s progressive Democratic Party used its supermajority in parliament Wednesday to move out of committee the bill to revise the Press Arbitration Act, setting it up a full vote in a plenary session as early as this week.

In one  of the few things this President has done so far in his short tenure that we at The Freedomist support, Biden issued an executive order that seeks to clamp down on efforts by corporations to create products that can only be repaired by their ‘experts.’  Since that EO, Europe has joined the fight by passing laws protecting certain appliances, like refrigerators, from falling to the same repair limitations that John Deere Tractors and Apple iPhones now have.

….Europe’s new regulations demand that manufacturers of washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, and displays (including televisions) make spare parts and repair documentation available to professional third-party repairers, preventing the kind of repair monopolies that manufacturers might otherwise maintain. Manufacturers must be able to supply these repairers with spare parts within 15 business days, and depending on the class of product and type of part, must continue to offer such support for 7 to 10 years. Matching rules went into effect in the United Kingdom at the start of July.

San Franscisco DA is Using Lawfare to Attack the 2nd Amendment, and It’s Working

Again thanks to the illegal decision by Federal judges to allow the Sandy Hook lawsuit to go forward targeting gun manufacturers for crimes that use their made guns, an anti-American DA from San Fransicso is attempting to use lawsuits to destroy what laws could not, our right to bear arms.  The DA in question is suing ghost gun manufacturers, that is, manufacturers that create kits that enable people to make their own ghost guns (guns that are not registered by American big brother).

This is a form of lawfare that the DNC has been using to destroy liberty in our land, destroy political opposition without openly violating our rights (though, in fact, they do, and it’s simply a failure by the courts to see how allowing these lawfare acts to continue DOES assault our freedoms, or maybe it’s more a willing ignorance on their part as they all seem to go to the same parties together, the judges and the politicians and the ceos of corpowoketarianizm).

Chesa Boudin, the anti-American rogue judge in the rogue citiy of San Fransisco is attempting to drive up the cost of gun production to destroy our ability to bear arms.  Its a classic fascist move, to use commercial liability as an idirect assault on liberties that the state itself would not get away with violating.   If this man were the DA in an American city, he would be removed immediately for violating his oath of office, to defend the Constitution of the United States, not the CCP agenda.

San Francisco DA sues 3 California-based ‘ghost gun’ makers

SAN FRANCISCO – San Francisco’s district attorney said Wednesday he is suing three California companies that make and distribute “ghost guns,” the untraceable, build-it-yourself weaponry that accounted for nearly half the firearms recovered in gun killings in the city last year.

District Attorney Chesa Boudin announced the lawsuit at a news conference, alongside advocates of tougher gun laws.

The suit names Blackhawk Manufacturing Group, GS Performance and MDX Corp., three companies that are not based in San Francisco but are responsible for producing a large share of the firearms found in the city and elsewhere in the state, Boudin said.

“Guns are flooding our streets. Enough is enough,” Boudin said. “It is not enough to wait until after someone has been shot and killed by a firearm. We must get to the root of the problem.”

Boudin’s lawsuit comes amid mounting criticism over his response to rising crime rates and a wave of anti-Asian violence in the city, which has…

Federal Judge Willing to Sacrifice 1st Amendment Over “Disinformation” Threat

In the name of protecting we children in adult bodies from ”disinformation,’ a North Caroilina judge is now advocating for censorship, abandoning the Constitution in favor of the feels of being safe from morons and the idiots that manipulate them.  Nowhere in the Constitution do you find such a standard, yet this judge chose to side with the fale hope of security to justify the real terror of destroying liberty in a land whose union depends on it.

The judge in question  is U.S. District Judge Thomas Schroeder, who chose to set a precedent that is being applied to a North Carolina patent trolling law, but will chill free speech so long as this anti-American ruling stands in our courts.

As corpowoketarianizm continues to extend its reach and its assumptions about what it can or cannot do to employees, customers, citizens in a Bill of Rights limited Democratic Republic, such as America is, the test of their attempt to subvert American standards for more Chinese Communist Party type standards will be challenged in the courts.  If the courts fail us, we are left with the realization that the enemy has won and we have no nation to fight for.

Part of this process can be seen in the case of Professo Dan Ravicher, a former teacher at the University of Miami Law School who was let go allegedly to make room for a non-white professor.  The complaint charges the school with firing him for being white. Let’s see if we have any remnant of America left in our courts or not.

Former University of Miami Law Scool Professor Dan Ravicher has filed an Equal Opportunity Employment Commission complaint against his former employer after it forced him out of his professor job.

The federal complaint alleged a breach of contract, defamation and discrimination against him based on race and gender. It comes after Ravicher and his attorney brought up the same concerns in a June letter to the private Florida university to no avail.

The EEOC filing alleged Miami Law treated the conservative professor differently because he is a white male who supported President Donald Trump. Ravicher has not heard from the EEOC as of August 23, according to a Twitter message to The College Fix. He filed the complaint on July 28.

Former Dean Anthony Varona violated Title VII and the Florida Civil Rights Act, Ravicher alleged. Ravicher paraphrased Varona’s assertion that…

No one saw this coming,  A scheme to use contact tracing apps to monitor Covid-19 outbreaks was early criticized for not being able to adequately defend privacy against malicious attacks.  It turns out the fears were well-founded as now millions of people that used these apps now have their private data accessed and stolen by hackers.

More than a thousand web apps mistakenly exposed 38 million records on the open Internet, including data from a number of COVID-19 contact-tracing platforms, vaccination sign-ups, job application portals, and employee databases. The data included a range of sensitive information, from people’s phone numbers and home addresses to Social Security numbers and COVID-19 vaccination status.

The incident affected major companies and organizations, including American Airlines, Ford, the transportation and logistics company J.B. Hunt, the Maryland Department of Health, the New York City Municipal Transportation Authority, and New York City public schools. And while the data exposures have since been addressed, they show how one bad configuration setting in a popular platform can have far-reaching consequences.

The exposed data was all stored in Microsoft’s Power Apps portal service, a development platform that…

The Children’s Crusade of America Afraid of “Misinformation”

Ivo Fysic- 49 percent of Americans support government censorship to protect them frommisinformation. 59 percent of Americans prefer the Corporations fill the role of protecting them from misinformation. What does that say about America today? –

PGC – Pew released a poll result that is sure to concern the remnant of Americans who still see the pragmatic usefulness of preserving and even re-instating, the standards of the Bill of Rights across this broken land.

In a span of 3 years, after the rise of corpowoketarianizm, after the onslaight of Covidtopia (to the few who benefit from shuttting down and stigmatizing most of humanity), Americans are growing weary of the responsibility of being adults that steward their own lives. In 2018, a shocking 39 percent of Americans supported government censorship to keep disinformation from reaching the masses. Today, that number stands at an even more shocking 49 percent.

As if to give some comfort, the polling data also shows that 59 percent of Americans prefer the Corpowoketarianz control the definition of truth and lock all unorthodoxy out of the digital public square. Americans are afraid of being adults.

We have been infantalized, and our politicians increasingly talk to us as if we are children, and enact laws and emergency orders assuming that we are. If this poll is a true reflection of the spirit of America, well, the infantalization is complete. Americans are afraid of being adults and they can’t imagine anyone else being adults either, unless they’re experts or government officials or badged ‘officers.’

Americans lack the basic understanding of liberty to see that surrendering the definition of truth to the powerfully advantaged will only result in one thing, disinformation becomes truth and truth becomes disinformation. The powers that be have a new toy, and Americans across this land have consensually handed that power over to them. At a time when we have little to even connect with one another as Americans through, these Americans are turning their backs on the Bill of Rights, for freedom is something that only responsible adults can face with courage, and this land is not a land of adults.

The children’s crusade is officially begun, to borrow from Kurt Vonnegut. The chidlren are leading a sucide war against the remaining adults with the hope that, at the end, after a few more people disappear, deliverance from fear arrives and puppies and lollipops roll across the skies for your amusement.

These crusades end in death, for the target, and for the targeting. The children don’t survive the campaign. And those that do, are never whole again. America, grow up, it’s time to take on your stewardship, it’s time to stand up for your Bill of Rights and your neighbor’s as well.

Poll: More Americans want government to stop misinformation online – KATV

According to a Pew Research poll out this month, 48% of adult Americans say the U.S. government should take steps to restrict false information online; even if it means limits on freely publishing or accessing content. That number is up from 39% who said that in 2018.

More Americans, 59%, would rather see tech companies take on misinformation.

Pew’s data shows the divide between Democrats and Republicans on this issue has widened in the past three years. In 2018, 40% of Democrats, or people who leaned Democratic, and 37% of Republicans, or people who leaned Republican, said the U.S. government should take steps to restrict false information. In 2021, it was 65% and 28%, respectively.

“What we’re seeing is just kind of a reaction to what they are hearing from the politicians that they are voting for and from the media that they’re consuming,” said Andrew Selepak, a social media professor at the University of Florida.
