President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’s approval ratings have cratered to record lows, according to a recent poll.
The USA Today/Suffolk University poll, which queried 1,000 registered voters last week, found Biden’s approval rating has sunk to 38 percent. Harris has dropped even lower, earning a dismal 28-percent job approval.
Sixty-four percent of respondents said they don’t want Biden to run for a second term, while 58 percent said they don’t want Trump to run for a second term. Biden has not committed to running for reelection.
The president found little support among independent respondents. Just 6 percent of independents said the president has done a better job than they expected, compared with 44 percent who said he’s done worse than expected.
