Another American mega-corp with international power and growing Chinese dependence has used its power to convert its corporate environment fundamentally to the anti-American model of CRT, that supposes white people invented liberty and racism for reasons.
That some corporation that has joined the billionaire’s call to fight fascism is purging any mention of a region where genocide and concentration camps are currently both reality, the Xinjian region, the home of the Uyghurs, a non-Han race that the race-supremacist Chinese Communist Party hopes to eradicate and/or assimilate.
Their goal is to have a pure Han race that acts as Uncle to the rest of the inferior races of the world, and that nation-state, run by a fascistic Chinese Communist party, is given more deference and respect than Intel would ever extend to any American citizen preaching the gospel of the Bill of Rights.
So Intel bends for Xi while aiding in the destruction of the American Republic, the end of Rule of Law, so we, in the end, look just like China.

Intel  (INTC) – Get Intel Corporation Report was being blasted on social media Monday for removing references to the Chinese region of Xinjiang from an open letter it sent to suppliers last month after the contents of the note sparked an uproar in China.

Intel last month published a letter to its global suppliers on its website calling on its business partners to avoid sourcing from the northwestern Chinese region, according to The Wall Street Journal.

“Multiple governments have imposed restrictions on products sourced from the Xinjiang region,” the letter said. “Therefore, Intel is required to ensure our supply chain does not use any labor or source goods or services from the Xinjiang region.”

Reuters has reported that United Nations experts and human-rights groups estimate that more than a million people are detained in camps in Xinjiang.

The detainees include Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities, the news service reported.

Intel was denounced by Chinese social-media users and…

Kazakhstan’s Health Ministry said Sunday that 164 people have been killed in protests that have rocked the country over the past week.

The figures reported on the state news channel Khabar-24 are a significant rise from previous tallies. It is not clear if the deaths refer only to civilians or if law-enforcement deaths are included. Kazakh authorities said earlier Sunday that 16 police or national guard had been killed. Authorities previously gave the civilian death toll as 26.

Most of the deaths — 103 — were in Almaty, the country’s largest city, where demonstrators seized government buildings and set some afire, according to the ministry. The country’s ombudsperson for children’s rights said three of those killed were minors, including a four-year-old girl.

The ministry earlier reported more than 2,200 people sought treatment for injuries from the protests, and the Interior Ministry said about 1,300 security officers were injured.

The office of Kazakhstan’s president…

There are concerns that prehistoric monster Megalodon is back after huge bite marks were pictured on the side of a great white shark.

Diver Jalil Najafov, 40, saw the 15ft shark with the massive bite mark swimming off Isla Guadalupe in Mexico – and the huge wound has since sparked a debate as to what on earth attacked it.

Experts argued why another shark would have bitten its own kind so violently, while social media users had another much more terrifying idea, reports the Daily Star.

Jalil’s Instagram post has led to speculation it could have come from a Megalodon, an ancient shark species regarded as one of the largest and most powerful predators to have ever lived.

Death rates up 40%, setting new 200-year high, life insurance company CEO says

There are large areas of the United States under Republican control where COVID-19 deaths and COVID-19-related deaths are openly undercounted. Unfortunately for the GOP and Trump death-cult followers, life insurance doesn’t care about your internet research degree at MAGA Meme University. Their entire business model is based on the gamble that they can figure out exactly who will die and when, based on the best actuarial science and statistical data available.

Comedian Greg Fitzsimmons once told a joke that the strange relationship a consumer has with life insurance can be summed up as the consumer placing a bunch of money on a table and saying, “I bet you I die this year,” and the insurance company picking up the money, counting it, and saying “We bet you don’t.”

Life insurance companies do not care about your feelings. People either die or they don’t. Different groups of people have higher mortality rates for a variety of reasons, and life insurance companies…

Everything Starfish Can Do, Starfish Robot Can Do Better

Starfish Robot Self-Heals Like Real Starfish

A starfish-shaped soft robot that creeps, changes its color, and self-heals broken parts

Natural camouflage is one of nature’s most interesting traits. Materials scientists have now developed a material that can mimic the camouflage capabilities of marine mollusks. They created a starfish-shaped soft robot that responds to heat and pressure with deformation, movement, and color changes. Cut-off tentacles can be welded together, and the material can be fully recycled, they write in the journal Angewandte Chemie.

Octopuses, jellyfish, and starfish are capable of natural camouflage; that is, they can quickly change their colors or shapes to match the background. A research team led by Quan Li from Southeast University, China, has now created a soft material that can mimic such traits. As an underlying material, they chose a liquid crystal elastomer that changes phases at different temperatures. When heated up, the oriented liquid crystal molecules of the elastomer lose ordering, causing the material part to shrink.

The researchers used this shrinking effect to enable a soft robot to “crawl.” For this purpose, they molded the polymer material in the shape of a starfish and added an infrared-sensitive dye to the underside of one of the tentacles. This modified site contracted when heated up by a photothermal effect resulting from near-infrared irradiation, and expanded when cooled down. Since only one arm received the light stimulus, the starfish robot slowly moved over the surface, pushed by the contracting–expanding tentacle like a caterpillar.

The starfish soft robot was capable of changing its color. The researchers integrated a cross-linker in the material—a molecular dye linking polymer…

Biden Commits to “Act Decisively” If Russia Tou

President Joe Biden is alleged to have told Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky, that the United States and its allies will “act decisively” if Russia invades his country.  The comment came through a phone call the President made to the Ukrainian President from his Wilmington, Delaware home, where he headed after he had declared that there was no federal solution to the covid problem.

WILMINGTON: President Joe Biden conferred on Sunday with Ukraine‘s leader over the Russian troop buildup near its border, promising that the US and allies will act “decisively” if Russia further invades the Eastern European nation.
Biden and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy‘s call came as the US and Western allies prepared for a series of diplomatic meetings to try to de-escalate a crisis that Moscow said could rupture ties with Washington.
“President Biden made clear that the United States and its allies and partners will respond decisively if Russia further invades Ukraine,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in a statement following the call.
Psaki added that Biden underscored his commitment to the principle of “nothing about you without you,” the tenet that it won’t negotiate policy that impacts Europe without its allies’ input.
Biden has spoken of hitting Russia with economy-jarring sanctions if it moves on Ukraine’s territory, but he said last month that US military action is not on the table.

Twitter has decided to suspend companies on Twitter that post quotes from American politicians if Twitter decides that particular opinion falls under the Orwellian category of “misinformation.”  The company was a media company named Grabien, whose Twitter account quoted a US congressmember who stated, “Big Pharma Won’t Consider Therapeutics Like HCQ or Ivermectin Because of Economic Interests.”

Media company Grabien was reportedly suspended on Twitter after it posted a quote from a congressman.

Grabien shared comments from Rep. Biggs about COVID-19 treatments.

“Rep. Biggs: Big Pharma Won’t Consider Therapeutics Like HCQ or Ivermectin Because of Economic Interests,” the tweet that led to the ban read, with a link to a video of Bigg’s comments.

Twitter allegedly told Grabien that its account had been suspended for “violating the policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19.”

Grabien founder Tom Elliott said the ban was  “next-level Twitter absurdity.”

“Obviously, in this case, quoting an elected leader on an issue that matters to everyone is important and newsworthy, regardless of whether you agree,” he added. “(And I can’t help but add that his basic point was once mainstream among progressives.)”

Elliot said he appealed the decision but does not expect much.

“…I have no confidence in Twitter doing the right…

Anchorage

After the Alaskan City of Anchorage passed an ordinance that would force women’s shelters to allow transgendered women to be given access, a Federal court has recently ruled that the shelter, a faith-based shelter, should not be compelled by the law to take in transgendered women.

The outcome is the result of an ongoing battle between the city and the Downtown Hope Center, which began when an inebriated and violent male was seeking to gain access to the women’s shelter by claiming to be a transgendered woman, or so the Center claims. From there, the city fought a legal battle which led to the city having to pay a $100k fine. After that, they passed an ordinance disallowing gender-specific shelters. This is the law that the federal court shut down.

Judge Rules Anchorage Women’s Shelter Can Remain A Women’s Shelter

A federal court ruled on Monday that a faith-based women’s shelter in Anchorage, Alaska, was allowed to remain open exclusively for women after the city passed an ordinance to mandate otherwise.

The Downtown Hope Center sued the city in 2018 when officials sought legal retribution against the charity over its refusal to allow an inebriated and injured biological man who identified as a woman to sleep at its facility alongside homeless women. The shelter referred the man to a hospital instead where he was sent in a taxi paid for by the group.

A complaint was later filed with the Anchorage Equal Rights Commission and pursued by the city before a preliminary injunction in the shelter’s favor led to a settlement that forced the municipality to pay the charity $100,001 in fees. The Anchorage Assembly then opted to change a local ordinance to erase gender-exclusive shelters, which provoked the ongoing litigation.

Darkness caused by dino-killing asteroid snuffed out life on Earth in 9 months

From www.livescience.com

The years following the asteroid impact that wiped out non-avian dinosaurs were dark times — literally. Soot from raging wildfires filled the sky and blocked the sun, directly contributing to the wave of extinctions that followed, new research has found.

After the asteroid struck, around 66 million years ago, the cataclysm extinguished many forms of life instantly. But the impact also caused environmental changes leading to mass extinctions that played out over time. One such extinction trigger may have been the dense clouds of ash and particles that spewed into the atmosphere and spread over the planet, which would have enveloped parts of Earth in darkness that could have persisted for up to two years.

During that time photosynthesis would have failed, leading to ecosystem collapse. And even after sunlight returned, this decline could have persisted for decades more, according to research presented Dec. 16 at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union (AGU), held in…

I heard one of the authors of this new study commenting on how he was a gay man, and the purpose of his research was to show a genetic basis for homosexuality, in order to make it equal to race. His goal was to make it impossible to disagree with homosexual behavior, because homosexual behavior would be seen as natural and normal. Let’s see if his new study helps him out.

The blog of the peer-reviewed journal PLOS One reported on the new study, which was published in the prestigious journal Science.

Excerpt:

The once-prevailing concept of a “gay gene” dictating sexual orientation has been put to rest in a powerhouse study published today in Science. The work brilliantly illustrates the very nature of science: evolving with the input of new data, especially the large-scale contributions of bioinformatics and crowd-sourcing.

“We formed a large international consortium and collected data for more than 500,000 people, comparing DNA and self-reported sexual behavior. This is…
