Mega-Trends For The Next Decade

Mr. Sune Hojgaard Sorensen, a strategic and economic Advisory Board Member of the BFI Capital Group, has identified what he calls three defining mega-trends he believes will feature prominently in the next decade, all of which have been massively accelerated by Covid.

1. DIGITALIZATION AND TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION

“According to a study conducted by McKinsey & Co in November of last year, in response to the crisis, companies have accelerated the digitalization of their customer interactions, accomplishing three or four years of progress in just seven months!” Further, Sorensen notes that “Value has moved from the tangible to the intangible, or a combination thereof.”

In 1975, only 17% of assets on the S & P 500 were intangible (patents, brand value, customer data, etc.), while 83% were tangible (buildings, equipment, cash, inventory, etc.). Today, 90% of assets are intangible. Digital finance, tele-health, remote work, online education, virtual entertainment, automation, and robotics will only increase in use.

2. THE RISE OF THE EAST

Consider that over 3.3 billion live in the countries of India, China, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Japan alone. The world’s largest shipping hubs are now in the East, and Asia’s market share has massively expanded in the past 100 years. Despite the talk of “decoupling” from China, many businesses have shown little interest in doing so.

According to MacroPolo, “Foreign businesses are just one gauge of decoupling, but they are particularly important leading indicators of shifts in supply chain ecosystems. In 2020, the respective portions of US (87%) and European (89%) businesses indicating no intention to leave China are as high or even higher than they’ve been in recent years.”

1. BIG GOVERNMENTS, BIGGER DEBT

Essentially, the US has transitioned from real engineering to financial engineering. Sorenson highlights the Congressional Budget Office projections, which predict that US Debt to GDP will pass the historical high of 106 in 2023, and in 2050 will hit 2.5x what they were at the end of 2020.

But Sorensen believes this could spell opportunity for strategic investors. “Beyond the debasement and the financial repression, big government and even bigger debt will also bring plenty of opportunity to those entrepreneurs and investors who can take a pragmatic approach, see through the smoke and mirrors, and identify the sectors that stand to benefit from all this largesse, deploying their efforts and capital accordingly.”

Consider that while millions lost their fortunes in the Great Depression, those who understood the times and were wise enough to get out early (like Joe Kennedy, Sr.) were able to buy stock after the crash for pennies on the dollar, becoming millionaires in the process.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — In a landmark decision by the Michigan Supreme Court in July, the state’s anti-discrimination law was interpreted to cover sexual orientation.

The court, in a 5-2 opinion, said the word “sex” in Michigan’s key civil rights law applies to sexual orientation and not just gender.

Now, a Christian based non-profit healthcare provider is filing a religious discrimination lawsuit against Michigan Attorney General, Dana Nessel.

The Grand Rapids based healthcare provider, Christian Healthcare Centers, filed the federal lawsuit Monday saying the state’s anti-discrimination law violates the organization’s religious beliefs.

Circuit Judge Don Willett, joined by Circuit Judges Jennifer Elrod and Kurt Engelhardt, rejected the government’s argument that the case should be dismissed as moot because the original rule challenged by the providers had been overturned. Willett wrote that the providers still faced harm because the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) had “repeatedly refused to disavow enforcement” against them.

Biden Declares Republicans Enemies of the One-Party State

President Joe Biden appeared to endorse Civil War in statements recently claiming the Republican Party is “semi-fascist,” implying the only viable opposition to the Democrats is a seditious criminal element. The comments were made at a DNC fundraising event, setting a violent tone ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.

The half-life President Joe Biden has taken to categorize the whole Republican Party, the only viable political vehicle of power in America to oppose the seditious DNC, “semi-fascist.” He made scathing, Civil-war-triggering claims about the opposition to an anti-American party fundraiser.

Biden stated, “What we’re seeing now, is either the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MAGA philosophy. It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the – I’m going to say something, it’s like semi-fascism.”

He continued to elaborate, “This is not your father’s Republican party. This is a different deal. Our team has to show up and quite frankly vote, just simply vote.”

The party that endorsed “punching Nazis” as a means of settling political differences (in direct defiance of our freedom of expression and free speech principles), the party that is using corporations to force their anti-American ideology, woketarianism, on its customers and employees (a classically fascistic tactic), is calling the party whose name suggests opposition to fascism, republicanism, semi-fascist.

The DNC is showing they never intend on surrendering power. They never intend on losing again, for surely if they did they would hedge their bets a little, lest the republicans do to them what they are now doing to the Republicans.

This verbal act of terrorism committed by an American sitting President (which is what makes this terrorism) comes on the heels of Biden appointing one of the main orchestrators of the Russia Hoax to a key position in the intelligence community.

To the DNC, Americanism is the sedition. To the DNC, Americanism is the fascism. To the DNC, not being able to control the narrative, not being able to control information, thought, and action, totally and completely, is sedition. Wishing to be free from social engineering control is the same as wanting to round up an ethnic group and leading them to slaughter.

The DNC have truly become the party of foreigners, anti-Americanists who cannot thrive in a land that holds them accountable to their claims and actions, for their actions are fundamentally violent in nature. From hate speech laws to anti-gun laws, the DNC is supporting the constant erosion of our Bills of Rights, and it has done so since the birth of the party.

Its very name is anathema to Americanism. Democracy is violence, mob tyranny, that eventually devolves to police state tyrannies, which is EXACTLY what the DNC wants, hoping to never have to face an honest and transparent election process again.

If Joe Biden is now openly calling for the Republican Party to be viewed as a criminal seditious organization, it telegraphs the DNC’s desperation to prevent the Republican party from using the power of the House subpoena to bring them to account for the many crimes they’ve committed as a party against the American republic, which now only lives in the hearts of Americans who still believe in the sacredness of individuals, not states or social vehicles of power (as the DNC supposes).

The party that follows a philosophy that denies the individual (except for the individuals at the highest level of their extremist pyramid of power) has no problem cracking a few eggs that promises those fooled by their violent rhetoric a Utopian omelet that will never, can never, be made.

In short, when a Democrat calls you a fascist or seditionist, it is because you are American, and, to them, Americanism violates their Priest-King Cult code. To them, fascism is liberty. To them, chains are freedom. Rousseau is their source of understanding, not Mill, and thus the Constitution itself is referred to as a dog whistle for fascism, for, to them, freedom is accountability, and the party of lies and violence cannot afford accountability when they rose to power in such unlawful, un-American ways.

Biden’s American Energy Throttle Upended by Federal Judge

Efforts by the Biden administration to throttle American energy (making it dependent on the DNC’s foreign allies) met with a chainsaw in the form of a Federal Judge, who shut down Biden’s moratorium on domestic energy development. The ruling was responding to a lawsuit brought against Biden by 13 States.

Immediately upon taking office, President Biden set about dismantling all the gains the Trump administration had been making towards creating an energy-independent United States. In the name of global warming, the administration sold the American people a bill of goods.

Let’s not pollute our own lands with bad oil and gas harvesting, let’s pollute foreign lands with bad oil and gas harvesting.

As an extra bonus, we can destroy non-DNC-aligned American businesses at the expense of making foreign businesses wealthy, businesses that are connected to tyrants that regularly execute people for being in categories the DNC regularly exploits at home for their victimhood status while supporting their oppression overseas (in the name of stopping man-made global warming).

Whether the administration is seeking to intentionally sabotage Americans to feather the nests of their foreign allies or not, the net effect is still the same.
