In the UK, it is now established that if a religious leader declares that homosexuality is a sin he can expect to be investigated for suspicions of terrorism and then fired. That’s what has allegedly happened to Rev. Bernard Randall of Derbyshire, England, who was fired from his job at a boarding school after the UK Government put him on a terror watchlist over his statements in a lecture defending the religious right to not ‘accept’ homosexuality.

Randall served as chaplain of Trent College, a day and boarding school in Derbyshire, England, for four years. He delivered a sermon to students on the topic of gender identity in 2019.
“So, all in all, if you are at ease with ‘all this LGBT stuff,’ you’re entitled to keep to those ideas,” Randall said in his sermon, adding, “if you are not comfortable with it, for the various—especially religious—reasons, you should not feel required to change.”
Despite Randall’s clear statement that “no one should be discriminated against simply for who he or she is,” Trent College suspended the chaplain for the sermon, reported him to England’s counterterrorism watchdog organization, and subsequently dismissed him.
If an antitrust lawsuit is correct, Google and Facebook may have been involved in some ad price fixing that may have been going on between the two companies starting back in 2014.
Alphabet Inc.’s Google was accused in an antitrust lawsuit of giving itself the edge in online advertising by cutting a cozy deal with Facebook that gives the social network an advantage in virtual auctions which determine whose ads appear where.
The deal has allowed Google to retain its dominance in online advertising while keeping other advertisers on the sidelines and limiting revenue for online publishers, two Massachusetts companies claimed in a proposed class-action lawsuit.
A so-called header bidding system devised in 2014 enabled publishers to direct a user’s browser to solicit real-time bids from multiple exchanges, not just Google’s, according to the complaint. Facebook initially embraced the system, but as part of a 2018 deal with Google, it agreed to limit its program in return for preferential treatment in Google’s ad business, the Massachusetts companies claimed in the complaint, filed Tuesday in San Francisco federal court.
Apple appears willing to work with the Chinese Communist Party while it uses its resources to moralize to Americans at home, and throw its weight behind DNC-agenda items, over and over and over again. When Harvard University lecturer Carole Hooven joined “Fox & Friends” last week to condemn medical professors’ trend toward refusing to use terms such as “male” and “female,” she set off a wave of controversy and was accused of being transphobic.
Despite this pushback and name-calling, Hooven said her position remains the same.
“We can be caring and sensitive to the needs and identities of everyone, while also sticking to biological reality,” Hooven said in an email this week to The College Fix. “I will continue to speak out when I think it might have some positive effect on science education and, ultimately, human thriving.”
The CDC has uniltaterally declared an eviction moritorium effective for 60 days in light of the spiking of the Covid-19 Delta varient. The moritorium covers areas that are considered at high levels of infection rate.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Tuesday announced a new 60-day moratorium on residential evictions in areas with high levels of COVID-19 infections, after having rejected an earlier push by the White House.
The order applies to about 80 per cent of U.S. counties that have substantial or high COVID-19 community transmission rates and covers about 90 per cent of the U.S. population.
“The emergence of the delta variant has led to a rapid acceleration of community transmission in the United States, putting more Americans at increased risk, especially if they are unvaccinated,” CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said in a statement.

When the Biden Administration’s Department of Justice suddenly decided to drop all investigations of nursing home deaths linked to decisions by certain State Governors to send coronavirus patients to nursing homes, many people were left without answers as to why they made this decision. One group of Michigan representatives took action, themselves serving in a state with one of those Governors, Gretchen Whitmer.
The reprpesentatives signed a letter asking for the Inspector General to investigate the DOJ’s decision–making process to suddenly drop these major investigations into the deaths of tens of thousands of elderly, espcially in the states of Michigan and New York.
Three members of Congress from Michigan are asking the Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Justice to conduct a formal inquiry as to why the department dropped its investigation of nursing home deaths in the state.
The DOJ announced July 22 it would cease an investigation into Michigan nursing home deaths from COVID-19 and whether those deaths were a result of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s policies. The investigation was begun during the administration of former President Donald Trump.
“Families all across the state are demanding answers for why their loved ones were locked in facilities with Covid carrying individuals,” according to the letter signed by Republican U.S. Reps. Lisa McClain, Tim Walberg, and Bill Huizenga.
The three members of Congress noted 5,681 people died in the state’s long-term care facilities as of July 21, 2021.
The expected correlation of infection rates in nations with high vaccine rates has so far not played out, as nations with the highest vaccine rates are also highest in infection rates.
A series of graphs compiled by Twitter user @holmenkollin (Corona Realism) document that “the most-vaccinated countries in the world are experiencing a surge in COVID-19 cases, while the least-vaccinated countries are not.”
Iceland, Gibraltar, Malta, and Cyprus, for example, have vaccination rates of 90-98% and are experiencing surging virus cases. European countries with high vaccination rates are experiencing increasing infection rates, while those graphs show minimal infection rates among the countries with the lowest vaccination rates.

A group of college researchers engaged in studying political action online found out their accounts had been disabled by Facebook, who alleges the group were violating terms of service in how they were scraping data.
Facebook Inc. has disabled the personal accounts of a group of New York University researchers studying political ads on the social network, claiming they are scraping data in violation of the company’s terms of service.
The company also cut off the researchers’ access to Facebook’s APIs, technology that is used to share data from Facebook to other apps or services, and disabled other apps and Pages associated with the research project, according to Mike Clark, a director of product management on Facebook’s privacy team.

A federal judge won’t stand in the way of the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office’s effort to investigate how gun manufacturer Smith and Wesson marketed its firearms for home defense and personal protection.
Last year, hoping to head off a subpoena sought by the New Jersey AG’s office, Smith and Wesson turned to the federal courts, arguing its constitutional rights were being infringed: The New Jersey AG’s office was hostile to guns and was using the subpoena to get back at the manufacturer, the gun company said.
But in a 10-page ruling Monday, U.S. District Judge Julien Neals, a Joe Biden appointee, declined to get involved. Noting the litigation in state court over “a challenge to the state’s contempt process,” the judge dismissed Smith and Wesson’s federal complaint.
“[There] is nothing that precludes Smith and Wesson from raising their constitutional concerns in the New Jersey state courts, as evidenced by their multiple state court filings before the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division and Supreme Court,” Neals wrote.

While the “war on terror” has spanned the globe and has turned its prying gaze inward toward innocent Americans, thanks to the misnamed “Patriot Act”, in no places was it more violent and concentrated than Iraq and Afghanistan. In these two lands, tens of thousands of US troops came to grips with the enemy and found him to be tough, merciless, and smart. The trauma experienced by hundreds of thousands of young Americans has left a massive scar on more than one generations: 20 years of constant war have meant that the children of the first soldiers who started this war were equally traumatized by it.
The enemy isn’t and wasn’t a tactic of lateral warfare, it was and remains an ideology and those who promote it, a form of imperialistic, totalitarian, and cultish Islam whose goal is world destruction in uhersing in the end of the age. Whether the particular brand is Shia, as from Iran, or Sunni, as from Afghanistan, the common belief is that the state should control the population in a totalitarian manner to produce loyal and faithful Muslims while rooting out any unfaithful persons and punishing them or killing them.
The even deeper root of the core ideology is totalitarian control by the state in service of the ideas and beliefs of the rulers. The fellow travelers of this enemy include right and left wing ideologues, ranging from the right-wing Putin to the left-wing Chinese Communist Party, and in the US includes some leading Democrats and far right antisemites. Totalitarians have a certain solidarity against those who reject totalitarianism on principle and without compromise.
The “war on terror” became an authoritarian overstep both at home and abroad by a government that was becoming increasingly corrupted by parochial self-interest, moral depravity, and greed. The lust for power and control, almost sexual in its feeling, began to infect rank and file and topmost political and corporate leaders who, through the Patriot Act, were less and less accountable to anyone but their own whims. The US became an authoritarian and abusive occupation force whose reign was as abusive to average people as the Islamic totalitarians they had temporarily displaced.
A recent initiative announced by the Biden Administration against “domestic terrorism” seems to see US forces coming home even as all the powers of the Patriot Act which were focused on Islamic terror are focused on opponents, whether of the left or right, of the Democratic Party. The war on terror has been lost and is now morphing into a war on freedom in the name of a new war on “domestic terrorism.”
The loss of this war is seen in the precipitous withdrawal of the US from the heartlands of Islamic Totalitariamism, leaving the field to the likes of the Taliban and Iran. While the Freedomist has never supported this foreign adventurism, the manner of the withdrawal exposes the true depth of the defeat. Put simply, the fields of battle are now left to the Islamic totalitarians whom the US tried to defeat.
With all our military might and modern technology, the US was unable to subdue the enemy or win the population over to a more enlightened way. Small cells and bands of under-armed and untrained irregular forces bled out the US and its allies through a thousand cuts every day. Every “battle” saw the enemy leave the field, but the real strategy wasn’t to occupy lands the US could not enter, the enemy became like water, flowing away from strong force pouring into the surrounding population, who remained sympathetic to them and hostile to the Americans.
The count of dead was not like other wars, mostly because of advances is battlefield medicine. But the toll on the psychology of the troops in these far-flung fields became ever more immense. The cost of materials and supplies, and of “nation building” efforts, has accounted for almost $4 trillion dollars. This comes out to around $12,200 for every single human being living in the United States.
The enemy did not have overt support from major powers, like the Viet Cong did in our last lost war. True, some powers did back the enemy, sporadically, and Iran certainly did all it could, but if the US had wanted to punish these powers, it could have without too much risk to itself.
The constant fighting in essentially hit and run ambushes with plenty of IED’s and terrorist attacks kept US forces on constant guard, a psychological burden few can endure without lasting effects, and it caused many injuries and deaths.
The enemy won on three fronts:
1. Radical Islamic ideology is protected and promoted in the US itself and the overall atmosphere for Islamic recruitment in the US is far more favorable than it has ever been
2. US forces have left the field to the enemy who is now re-occupying ground and gainig global recognition for having defeated “the great satan”
3. The “war on terror” has turned inward and now the enemy of the Islamic totalitarians is itself being torn apart by the growing totalitarianism of its ruling class
After 20 years, the US has lost the war on terror. Totalitarian Islamic ideology is on the march abroad, free to recruit within the US, and content in the knowledge Americans are now the target of the “Patriot Act”, not them!
We lost this war as soon as we decided to wage war on a tactic, liberate people who didn’t want to liberate themselves, and resort to the same kinds of totalitarian methods as our enemies.
