Joe Biden appears set to ‘honor’ the deadline of August 31st, 2021 for US troop withdrawal, a deadline set by the Taliban. He attempted to justify his decision by saying “the sooner we finish, the better.” In the announcement, Biden was asked by the press about the fate of those still left behind. Biden walked away without answering any questions.
“We are currently on a pace to finish by August 31. I am determined to complete our mission,” Biden said in a much-delayed speech from the White House.
But, he added, “The completion by August 31 depends on the Taliban continuing to cooperate and allow access to the airport to those who are transporting out and no disruptions to our operation.”
“The sooner we finish the better,” Biden said.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Biden relayed his decision in crisis talks of the Group of 7 on Tuesday morning, making clear the decision to stick to the withdrawal timeline was in large part driven by those security risks.
“The President conveyed that our mission in Kabul will end based on the achievement of our objectives,” Psaki said in a statement. “He confirmed we are currently on pace to finish by August 31st and provided an update on progress in evacuating Americans who want to come home, third-country nationals, and Afghans who were our allies during the war.”
Henry “Enrique” Tarrio, a Proud Boys leader, has been sentenced to prison for burning a Black Lives Matter banner in Washington, D.C. in December of 2020.

A far right group linked to neo-Nazis has allegedly compiled a list of around 60 organisations and individuals in Scotland who oppose racism and fascism, The Ferret can reveal.
The list, claimed to have been made by Patriotic Alternative (PA) Scotland, names charities, political parties, student groups and 33 individuals. The banks have declared that having a small monpopoly on the financial markets is hardly a danger to people at all, as of course they will use their considerably state-protected monopolistic advantage fairly and equally to all who simply obey the law. That, my friends, was a lie, and one that OnlyFans is exposing, though it’s not the first such proof that banks have decided to use their considerable state-protected financial industry monopoly to punish people who behave immorally according to their particular unaccountable standards of morality.

If we are to be a people ever again, we must have an identity that does not destroy the multiplicities of identities our diverse lands possess. That identity is the Bill of Rights.
