The Biden’s ATF nominee, David Chipman, is making it clear he stands with China in how they view gun ownership, that private citizens are too dangerous and dumb to hold such power in their peasant hands. He especially hates AR-15s because he has no awareness about guns at all. If he did, he would know the AR-15 is simply a semi-automatic (not automatic, and thus making it an ACTUAL assault rifle) chambered in the relatively low-powered (by other rifle caliber standards) .556 or .223. It’s a 22 caliber bullet that mostly derives its power from its speed, something the AR-15 itself does not provide, nor is the AR-15 the only rifle that can fire the .556 or the .223
