UK Looks to Create Worldwide Gun-Control Body

The United Kingdom, who long ago deprived their citizens the right to bear arms, is looking to extend its authoritarianism over all the nations of the world, through the United Nations, calling on worldwide governance of “small arms” which, it alleges, should unite the nations of the world.

… the diversion and misuse of small arms has an all too real human cost, claiming hundreds of thousands of lives every year.

It threatens security and sustainable development, and fuels conflict, crime, and terrorism. So let me make four points for this debate.

First, we must accelerate our collective work to reduce these threats in the coming year. At the Fourth Review Conference at the UN Programme of Action in June, we look forward to building on conclusions from the Biennial Meeting of States Parties in 2022.

Norwegian Tanker ‘Strinda’ Struck By Houthi Missile

RED SEA, 12.12.2023, 1100hrs CST – The Japanese-owned, Norwegian-flagged general oil and chemical tanker MK STRINDA was struck by a missile fired by Houthi rebels in Yemen, while transiting the Bab el Mandeb strait, late on the 11th. the ship reported damage and a fire, but reported no casualties.

The Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Mason responded to the tanker’s distress call, and is rendering assistance as of press time. The Mason, along with other US Navy warships, have engaged Houthi missiles and drones fire at Israel as part of the Houthi’s

This is the latest in the escalating piratical activities of the Iran-backed terror group in recent weeks, including their helicopter assault to seize of the M/V Galaxy Leader and their attempted seizure of the M/V Central Park.

The Houthi group is a religious sect that is the main party in a civil war that has raged since 2014. Although the hard-line Shi’a Muslim group is reported to be receiving assistance from many corners, no state has recognized them as a legitimate state. They were, and remain, a group of bandits, pirates and terrorists.

Houthi Goverment in Yemen Announces Blockade of Bab el-Mandeb

YEMEN – In a press release dated December 9th, the rebel Houthi government of Yemen announced its intention to blockade the Bab el-Mandeb strait, at the southern entrance to the Red Sea, in order to halt all maritime commerce going to or from Israel, including – significantly – vessels of any nation, including any vessel owned by Israeli companies or individuals. This presents a direct and immediate threat to the Freedom of the Seas doctrine of international law, as there is no way to verify the details of vessels in the Red Sea without physically stopping them. This also places a considerable portion of world commerce in immediate jeopardy, as the Red Sea is one of the main conduits of global commercial traffic, not simply limited to the oil industry.

This comes after weeks of rising tensions, as the rebel Houthi regime has repeatedly attacked and captured commercial vessels in the Red Sea, while firing ballistic missiles supplied by Iran towards Israel. Both United States and French Navy warships have fired in defense of vessel attacked by Houthi forces. These rash actions could lead to an all-out naval war in the Red Sea.

As of press time, the United States has not issued a statement on the situation, although rumors swirl about some form of joint, direct-action against the Houthis.

According to Cook Political Report analyst Dave Wasserman, the SCOTUS Ruling on Allen V Milligan that upheld the voting rights act, which forced states to create minimal black majority districts, could lead to a solid Democrat majority in the south for decades to come. The analyst said, “The landmark decision in Allen v Milligan could reverberate across the deep south, leading to the creation of new Black-majority, strongly Democratic seats in multiple states. Politically, the ruling could shake up the 2024 battle for the House, send shockwaves beyond Alabama and potentially offset a new gerrymander Republicans are likely to impose in North Carolina. The key states to watch are Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia and South Carolina.”

Georgia Peaches No More

The state of Georgia suffered a catastrophic loss due to a late winter freeze that destroyed more than 90 percent of this year’s peach crop. Not since 1955, when the whole peach crop was lost, has Georgia suffered such a loss. Right now, the summer peach trees have little to no fruit on them and there is no commercial trucking showing up to pack what few peaches might remain. The deep-freeze occurred in March. It followed weeks of unseasonably warm weather, which triggered an early bloom that led to even more damage from the deep-freeze event.

The Chinese culture police, known as Wenguan, recently demonstrated their expanded new powers when they imposed a $2 million fine on a comedy studio for a joke made by standup comedian Li Haosi that compared the People’s Liberation Army to his adopted dogs. The Wenguan can enforce penalties on culture producers for violating the “main melody,” the official version of orthodoxy as defined by the Chinese Communist Party. They are to China what DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) chiefs are to America, but with overt support and authority by the state instead of indirect support and authority the DEI chiefs currently enjoy.

“Baseless” National Archive Accusation Behind Lawfare Assault on Trump

The House Republican Conference Chair, Elise Stefanik (R-NY) told Breitbart News that the Top Secret Document investigation of Donald Trump started with a “baseless” archives referral based on DNC officials wanting to see the Top Secret documents around Trump’s communications with North Korean President Kim Jung Il.

Stefanik said of the news, “This bombshell finding is the epitome of the illegal weaponization of federal agencies against President Trump, the leading candidate for President of the United States. The fact is, an unelected bureaucrat at a federal agency egregiously abused their position with a baseless referral causing the unprecedented raid of the residence of a former President, based simply on personal correspondence from President Obama to President Trump and between President Trump and the leader of North Korea.”

California’s Fake News Training for Kids Bill Introduced

California’s Assembly Bill 873, introduced by Assembly member Marc Merman (D-Menlo Park), would empower the state’s “Instructional Quality Commission” to create a media literacy education program for students from K-12. Since all of the decision makers involved are leftists, it is likely the “education” will involve training children to reject non-authoritative, non-orthodox views as potentially containing any real truth. In other words, all non-leftist “fact claims” are fake news.
