Unmasking Propaganda: From Edward Bernays To Biden’s Ministry Of Truth

Introduction

The relentless attack of globalists and communists is on freedom. One of the most remarkable things about this assault is that few people indeed realize that they are being controlled and manipulated en masse for devious ends.

The answer is propaganda.

This article will expose the roots, science, history, and methods of propaganda in order to clearly reveal how propaganda is being weaponized today and what can be done to successfully resist it.

A. The Roots Of Modern Propaganda

Propaganda works through channels of information, such as education, media, Hollywood, social media, business, and government, to subtly change the ideas, beliefs, and actions of entire groups of people, manipulating them into exchanging rational, independent thinking for mass emotion and groupthink.

What is propaganda? – The father of modern “public relations” (aka, propaganda), Edward Bernays, saw propaganda as the “conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses.” Bernays was a double nephew to the father of modern psychology, Sigmund Freud, for whom he possessed a lifelong admiration.

In The Crowd, author Le Bon recommended, “A crowd is only impressed by excessive sentiments. Exaggerate, affirm, resort to repetition, and never attempt to prove anything by reasoning.”

Le Bon also stated, “The orators who know how to make an impression upon them always appeal in consequence to their sentiments and never to their reason. The laws of logic have no action on crowds.”

Le Bon outlined three stages: submergence, contagion, and suggestion. First, in submergence, individuals in the crowd lose their individuality. Second, in contagion, individuals are unconsciously swept away by the crowd’s emotion and ideals, which spread like a disease. Third, in suggestion, the crowd develops a unified identity. It is in this stage that a charismatic, trusted leader can easily insert himself as part of the crowd’s identity.

B. How Bernays Used Propaganda

Edward Bernays brought together the theories of Freud, Le Bon, and Trotter, and applied them with devastating effect to the science of mass manipulation.

Shortly after the United States entered World War I, Bernays (then in his 20s) was hired by the Committee on Public Information (CPI) to help sell the American people on the war “to bring democracy to Europe.

Bernays aimed to increase sales for the American Tobacco Company’s Lucky Strike cigarettes by marketing to a new demographic – women. Bernays promoted the ideal of thinness, suggested that women smokers were prettier and slimmer than non-women smokers, and employed medical “experts” who advised smoking over sweets.

100 years ago, the average American ate a light breakfast consisting of coffee, a roll, and orange juice. All of that changed after Bernays went to work to increase bacon sales for the Beech-Nut Packing Company. Bernays assembled a “study” of 4,500 doctors, led by his agency’s internal doctor, to recommend that Americans eat heavier breakfasts. The American public followed the advice of these “experts,” and Beech-Nut’s profits soared.

C. Propaganda And Hitler

Adolf Hitler stated, “By clever and persevering use of propaganda, even heaven can be represented as hell to the people, and conversely the most wretched life as paradise.” Hitler’s Minister of Propaganda, Paul Joseph Goebbels, was an avid admirer of Edward Bernays’s methods and applied Propaganda with deadly success. Hitler’s regime used the Reichstag Fire to consolidate power. The Night of Broken Glass was weaponized to whip up racial tensions.

In their book, Propaganda and Persuasion, historians Jowett & O’Donnell summarize Hitler and Goebbels’s basic principles of propaganda.

Avoid abstract ideas – appeal to the emotions.
Constantly repeat just a few ideas.
Use stereotyped phrases.
Give only one side of the argument.
Continuously criticize your opponents.
Pick out one special “enemy” for special vilification.

American citizens have fallen for lie after lie since the days of Edward Bernays. With historical hindsight, today’s propaganda is clear for all who wish to see it. Globalists can only establish tyranny by first eliminating freedom of thought and freedom of speech. It is not too late. We can reject all forms of propaganda, defend free speech, and awaken others.

Four Tires and an Engine – The Basics of Armed Force

“Unconventional thinking” is one People are fond of creating pithy shortcuts and analogies. When it comes to “Things Military,” here is one of mine:

Military forces are like a conventional automobile – they need four tires, sitting on the ground in unison, or the car doesn’t go very far. Think of it as a Venn diagram, if the car analogy doesn’t work. Moving on…The four “tires” of the military are:

1. Food – No matter how well-equipped or trained your troops may be, if they have no food, they will be unable to fight within seven days. Period. Troops need an absolute minimum of 2,800 calories (and preferably 3,500-3,600) – weighted towards carbohydrates – per day, in order to function effectively in combat. Without food, troops can function for three to five days, maximum. After that, their effectiveness rapidly falls off, until they will not be able to walk; that phase takes between eight and eleven days, and they will be dizzy and on the verge of incoherent after about six or seven days. There are examples of people “surviving” or “lasting” for two or more weeks without food — but those people were confined to bed, minimizing all physical exertion, and required constant care. In the case of hunger-strikers, after two weeks, they will be too weak to lift a glass of water to their lips. In situations where this has happened in the past, the medical remediation starts with small amounts of rice milk, with recovering taking weeks, at the very least.

Food. Because it is existential, few people give it any thought. You, on the other hand, can never let food drift too far from a military unit’s calculations.

2. POL/Fodder (POL/F) – Modern armed forces, be they military, paramilitary or police, rely on powered systems at some level. Whether for vehicles, generators, stoves or fodder for animals (mules, yaks and camels are still used for military pack transport around the world), POL/F supplies are absolutely critical to operations. Neglect your POL/F, and your troops will be reduced to marching, carrying only what extra supplies they can carry on pack frames, or that they can drag behind them on hand carts…and then, their food requirements will skyrocket (see #1, above), requiring them to carry less operational weapons and supplies (i.e., mortars, mortar bombs, rockets and their launchers, artillery munitions, etc) in favor of the extra food needed – assuming, of course, that the operational weapons can even be carried or dragged by the troops.

Whether you intend – or are forced – to use bicycles, POL/F is a factor that you can never neglect, if you expect to function effectively in an operational environment.

3. Munitions – Another existential within the modern military sphere – and thus, frequently ignored – “munitions” are everything that physically strikes the enemy: ammunition of all kinds, knives, grenades, etc. If you are not careful in planning or accounting for the amount of ammunition you both have and need, your troops will very quickly burn through everything they have, leaving them – quite literally – with nothing but knives, sharp sticks, rocks and harsh language…that quip is only funny when no one is shooting at you.

4. Communications – Without a radio communications system, you are limited to runners, bugles and whistles (all of which are still in use, in places) and the limit of the range of your voice. That is fine, at the lowest tactical levels, but those have long been rendered impractical for anything above platoon level, as the speed and scope of military operations has increased. There is also the issue of communications security, including codes and ciphers. It is an in-depth issue, far too complex to fully address here, but it is nonetheless something the prospective user needs to get a handle on early.

5. Motivation – Finally, Motivation is the engine of the “military automobile.” Nothing outlined above, nothing in this document, and nothing in any conventional manual you will ever find, means anything if your troops are not motivated to strive, struggle and sacrifice for the Cause, whatever that cause might be. None of it matters, if your troops are not willing to use the tools at hand effectively, if at all. They will sit down when they think you can’t see them; they will desert if they think that they can get away with it; and they will run the first time someone shoots at them in earnest.

These are the five things you can never shortcut. The minute you think you can get away with short-sheeting these points, you’re losing.

Europe’s Green Hope Shattered By Reality

Western Europe has long existed in a bubble of safety devoid of any real connection to the past outside of a few major events that rarely go further back than Hitler. For Europe, America mostly defended her lands, so the cost of defending one’s home from all enemies foreign and domestic was lost on a people that have been protected by America since the end of World War Two.

Russia has delivered to Europe a lesson in forgetting what that cost really is. Europe must now come to terms with the fact that they have no real military deterrence without the United States. Their green virtue signalling policies of relying on dirty energy from foreign powers have produced disastrous dependencies on energy from the very threat that has popped the bubble of safety they’ve long been living inside.

The invasion of Ukraine has increased Europe’s desire for alliances and security. Finland and Sweden are on a fast track to become new members of NATO. The German center-left coalition government have announced the intention to build a new robust military that many predict can quickly become the most powerful military in Europe. Additionally, the German Prime Minister, Klaus Sholz, told NATO that the Germans would increase their contribution to NATO.

Meanwhile the EU is making plans to also increase their military strength. With Ukraine seeking membership to the EU, Britain agreeing to a military partnership, and Ireland expanding its military involvement, the once diminishing European Union is looking attractive once again.

Almost every European nation has a green party within it, a party that primarily identifies as being committed to taking radical steps to save the planet from man-made climate change. But yet, the cost of Green Puritanism is increasing, as Europe comes to terms with what we like to call, the “blood and bone cost of the reality of power.”

Many wealthy nations virtue signal green by preventing non-green energy development at home while making their nation-states dependent on foreign-purchased non-green energy to meet their actual daily energy needs.

While much of Europe is now confronting the cost of going green, thanks to Russia, both for the Ukraine invasion and the natural gas pipeline shut-down threat, The Netherlands is coming to terms with another hard reality, when policy confronts real human action. The consequences have been ongoing protests, freedom convoys, police shootings, disruptions, and refusals to even meet with the government under the unrealistic terms given to the farmers now fighting for their very lives.

When you enact policies that destroy your internal food production at a time when food shortages are spreading throughout the globe, your government is about to face the cost of ignoring the facts. This is the blood and bone cost of the reality of power that the “experts” of the Netherlands hardly ever took into consideration.

There are protests now forming across Europe, including everything from resisting censorship, to taxes, to academic policy making with no regard for the people it harms. There are new parties forming and radical parties rising.

Europe is set to become a cauldron of competing radical powers, some doubling down even more on leftist suicide, and others promising to restore order, security, and common-sense morality.

We have great hope for our nation here in America to survive this liminal time, a time between what was and what will next be, but Europe seems set for a generation of turmoil and upheaval, terrorism and continued diminishment of quality of life. They won’t be alone, but their geographical and historical context leads us to believe they will be one of the hardest hit by the continued upheavals to come.

What Are The Economic Implications: Food, Fertilizer, Commodities, Energy, Supply Chains, Inflation?

As noted by Bloomberg’s infographic, Russia and Ukraine account for almost one-quarter of global grains supply.

Both Russia and Ukraine have cut off grain exports. Geopolitical analyst Peter Zeihan notes that the world was already facing “the worst fertilizer situation in modern history in terms of supply” before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Zeihan says, “even if the war were to stop tomorrow, it’s already too late. It’s too late for the planting season for the Northern Hemisphere this year.”

Iowa farmer Ben Riensche told Tucker Carlson, “Soaring fertilizer prices are likely to bring spiked food prices. If you’re upset that gas is up a dollar or two a gallon, wait until your grocery bill is up $1,000 a month, and it might not just manifest itself in terms of price. It could be quantity as well. Empty-shelf syndrome may be starting.”

The globalist World Economic Forum writes, “We are currently witnessing the beginning of a global food crisis, driven by the knock-on effects of a pandemic and more recently the rise in fuel prices and the conflict in Ukraine.”

Swiss asset manager Egon von Greyerz warns that the world is facing “a global monetary and Commodity infer of nuclear proportions.” Greyerz asserts, “The world will obviously blame Putin for the catastrophe which will hit every corner of our planet. But we must remember that neither Putin nor Covid is the reason for the economic cataclysm that we are now approaching.” Indeed, war would simply be the prick that burst the global bubble, a scapegoat for financial collapse and rising inflation.

Greyerz continues, “If a miracle doesn’t stop this war very quickly (which is extremely unlikely), the world will soon be entering a hyperinflationary commodity explosion (think both energy, metals, and food) combined with a cataclysmic deflationary asset implosion (think debt, stocks, and property).”

Taken together, fertilizer shortages, food shortages, commodity shortages, energy shortages, and supply chain disruptions will increase what Willem Middelkoop calls “super inflation.”

Mayor Muriel Bowser, a Democrat, confirmed Thursday that there were no virtual instruction options for unvaccinated students which would leave about 40% of black students without any schooling at all.

Bowser was speaking to reporters in a media briefing when she made the comments.

“They can go to school on Monday. But they need to get their vaccinations,” she said, “and their families will be alerted as to the dates.”

When pressed about online instruction being available to unvaccinated students, Bowser admitted there would be no such opportunity.

“We’re not offering remote learning for children, and families will need to comply with what is necessary to come to school,” said Bowser.

Global Wars, Proxy Wars, And The Race To World Government
