The American Foreign Legion – Revisited

Over a year ago, we discussed the possibility of an “American Foreign Legion”. This was a hypothetical idea, based on most of the US Armed Forces’ continual failure to meet their recruitment targets. Tangentially, about a month prior to this article, we discussed a possible “deep plan” (an idea that, admittedly, verged into raw “conspiracy theory”) that the disaster at the border, specifically in allowing ‘unfettered’ access to the nation for tens of thousands of “military-age males”, potentially allowing in a hostile army, an army that could be used for nefarious purposes against Americans in general, not simply that percentage of the population that is armed and very unhappy with the status quo in Washington, DC.

But – what if there is something else going on?

In writing that article this past September, there was a wrinkle that kept bothering this author, namely, that while the numbers of unaccompanied males entering the country was indeed dangerously large, it was not large enough to actually be a significant threat to the supposed target, that being those unhappy gun owners.

Something, some other point, was missing.

But then, a funny thing happened: Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States, and the most likely contender for the Republican nomination for President in 2024, stated “categorically” that he would round up and deport every person currently being allowed over the border…

However, this doesn’t make a great deal of sense: how could such a thing be accomplished? Leaving aside the fact that such a program would certainly be fought tooth and nail at every step in Congress and the Courts, the problem is similar to “confiscating guns”: With no registry of firearms, police officers would have to raid and search every single building in the United States, to effectively “confiscate” privately-held firearms. Even assuming that absolutely no resistance to such a thing would occur – a notion that is, quite literally, “whistling past the graveyard” – there are simply not enough law enforcement officers available to conduct those searches. The idea is ludicrous.

But not when it comes to the flood of “migrants” crossing the border. The reason is that those crossing the line, while largely vanishing into the masses of large cities, are in fact on the radar of various agencies of the Federal government, not least because the governors of Texas and Florida are not doing all of the busing of those migrants to cities like Chicago and New York City. And this is over and above the “CBP One” app those migrants carrying smartphones are encouraged to place onto their phones. Those carrying such apps on their devices are loading tracking software that gives them a level of legitimacy to then file for status as refugees entitled to economic support with state and local agencies.

Assuming that Donald Trump were to win in 2024, and would attempt to make good on his campaign promise to deport illegal migrants, and, given the certain resistance to such an attempt, if presented with an option to “negotiate a middle ground”, would Donald Trump do so?

Given both the nature of his character, and factors we will look at below, such a negotiation is almost a given.

What is this “middle ground” approach? Simply put – join an “American Foreign Legion”, or face immediate arrest and deportation.

This is not idle speculation. In Issue 3 of Volume 53 of Parameters, the magazine of the US Army War College, there is an article from August of 2023, “A Call to Action: Lessons from Ukraine for the Future Force”, discussing the need to seriously rethink the Draft. Strident calls from the mainstream press’ gatekeepers to the contrary, this article is blunt, to the point that it is worth quoting:

“…These numbers cannot fill the existing gaps in the active force, let alone
any casualty replacement or expansion during a large-scale combat operation.
The implication is that the 1970s concept of an all-volunteer force has outlived
its shelf life and does not align with the current operating environment.
The technological revolution described below suggests this force has reached
obsolescence. Large-scale combat operations troop requirements may well
require a reconceptualization of the 1970s and 1980s volunteer force and
a move toward partial conscription.16…”

It is that superscript note that presents an issue, as at press-time, the referenced article, “Was Fifty Years Long Enough? The All-Volunteer Force in an Era of Large-Scale Combat Operations”, by Kent Park, is not available for review.

This is a direct and pointed statement that the US Armed Forces need to consider the likelihood that the government will have to resort to a new Draft to meet it’s operations needs.

But – why?

Simply put, both “Millennial’s” and “Gen-Z” have little interest in volunteering for military, despite eye-watering bonuses of up to $75,000, over and above issues such as chronic obesity and a medical screening process that eliminates up to 25% of potential recruits who do volunteer. Bland platitudes from military managers wearing stars to the contrary, this is situation is very likely to persist.

And yet – for good or ill, the United States needs to keep recruits flowing into its units…And a “negotiated solution” to the illegal immigrant crisis is a very attractive answer.

Speaking strictly hypothetically, such a force would be easily and quickly fielded. All that would be necessary would be deploying fingerprint scanners to recruiting offices, to verify whether the illegal immigrant had been arrested while in the United States before that point. If not, the illegal immigrant could be offered a minimal cash bounty for enlisting, considerably less than those currently being offered to citizens born here, along with a guarantee of amnesty and legitimized citizenship after a minimum of four years’ service.

This is a very attractive prospect to someone coming from a culture that respects and/or fears soldiers, and which neatly sidesteps the problem of a large percentage of bitter and bluntly un-patriotic teens and twenty-something’s who would absolutely not report to a Draft board if faced with the prospect…

…It’s almost as if it were a planned operation.

The Walls Are Closing In On Trump and Our Union

The walls are closing in on Donald Trump, 45th President of these United States of America, but, what few of his persecutors or prosecutors (depending on your perspective) realize is that this also shows that the walls are closing in on the very existence of our Union as a single country. As every day brings new setbacks for Trump’s legal defense, and as once staunch allies cover themselves by sacrificing him to the altars of Democrats in high dudgeon, the very substance of our Union weakens.

THIS IS NOT A COMMENTARY on Trump, on his guilt or innocence, or anything like that. It is an analysis of the potential impacts to the strength of our Union which follow the possible scenarios that may unfold.

Let’s cover the diverse perspectives.

You may think Trump is guilty and should be punished like anyone else would be. You may think he is guilty but also think his opponents are also coloring outside the legal lines and wonder why the law isn’t being equally applied. You may think Trump may have veered close to the legal line and didn’t cross it, but his opponents are using it against him while covering up their own actual crimes. You may think Trump is innocent, and this is a witch hunt, a totally political persecution, lawfare. Beyond these perspectives, there are shades in between as well, filled with nuance.

The legal question is “guilty or not guilty.”

If you think Trump is guilty and knows it, then you are frustrated he hasn’t just admitted it and backed out of his bid for a second term for the good of the country. What appalls you about your fellow citizens and divides you from them is how so many could be conned into following an obviously bad person.

If you think Trump is innocent, or not guilty, you look at the Biden administration and the bureaucrats in DC and wonder why they don’t, for the good of the country, disengage and disavow the lawfare and play ball fairly. What appalls you about your fellow citizens is how so many could be OK with such an obvious abuse of power knowing they can’t win on an even playing field.

Perhaps the truth doesn’t easily fit those two perspectives and perhaps one might ask a deeper question of both sides: how seriously are they taking the repercussions of their actions in light of the threat to our political fabric? When we see something like around 40% of Republicans and Democrats saying that force should be used against the other side we are hearing the klaxon of chaos and ruin approaching but nobody seems to notice or, if they do, care.

Not to be a Cassandra or make a prediction of the inevitability of our disUnion, but one must take such dangers seriously even if the probability is, say, only 10%, although it is probably higher than 10% at the moment. There are too many racial, religious, ideological, and economic conflicts between disparate groups of Americans, and now the Arab-Jewish conflict is coming to our shores! To even review in detail would be impossible without writing a book. Any one of these, saving perhaps the Arab-Jewish war that affects relatively few Americans (though it is quite dramatic, painful, and impactful to them!), could become explosive, and that explosion could cause an unintentional chain reaction.

The fact is that around 30% of Americans seem to love Trump, and among them, he has superstar almost godlike status (not literally but figuratively), and he is in a sense a messianic persona who will “make America great again.” But 30% of the country see him almost as the old line churches used to preach about the antichrist, a truly apocalyptic figure whose very presence in the American political scene threatens to reverse 100 years of real social progress, which still has a long way to go to be equitable and just.

(Note, the left has a “new man” ideology based on believing human nature is plastic and amenable to change in the right environment while the right has a “natural man” ideology based on adapting the environment to the existing and mostly unalterable human nature as it exists. These two ideologies are incompatible within a single sociocultural and socioeconomic system but could coexist within a vastly more decentralized and pluralistic Union.)

Most of those who love Trump and view any threats to him as threats against themselves tend to be more classical liberal in the sense of fiscal conservative, free market, and socially more libertine albeit within some traditional limits. Most of those who despise Trump tend toward a sort of free market socialism, if we can say such a thing exists, and are rather socially progressive to the degree of seeing those who are socially conservative as illegitimate and their views as unethical, bordering on criminal. But not everyone in either the “love Trump” or “hate Trump” camp falls in either of these categories.

As for the 40% in the middle, this is not a case of being indecisive. Their views are diverse but often definite. Perhaps 80% of the voting public have made up their mind about Donald Trump, and it is likely their views will not change.

This brings us to the dynamite sitting around in a hot room that we call the multiple prosecutions/persecutions of Trump via courts one tends to either see as virtuous and good or corrupt and evil. The strains on the fabric of our political Union are immense as the fabric of our political Union includes trust, respect, tolerance, and consent. Increasingly, both sides see the other as untrustworthy, disrespectful toward fellow Americans, intolerant, and acting outside the consent of the People. In other words, some 60% of the voting public deem the other side as totally illegitimate, and when they win office, all respect for the office goes away if your side didn’t win it.

If we apply that 40% of Democrats and Republicans who think the other side should be resisted with violence, that’s around 24% of the voting public who are already primed ideationally for what amounts to civil war: political violence aimed at the opposition. There are 24 million Americans leaning more and more toward the fringe on their respective sides.

Given either a scenario where Trump is thrown in jail or he is not, the side whose desires were not met will feel a deep sense of rage and betrayal at the system and the more fringe and unstable elements (which both sides shelter among themselves in their desperate search for allies) may begin to engage in political violence. While it is true, the FBI is wholly in the camp of the left and taking extreme measures to “monitor” the right, because the FBI leadership think 30% of Americans are illegitimate because they support Trump, their attention is rather parochial for the Democratic Party than for the integrity of the Union. In other words, the FBI are positive toward elements of the left who may become radicalized to violence if Trump isn’t sufficiently punished in their eyes while the people on the right they are focused on are so many in number, resources are spread too thin to catch the actual fringe elements on the right who may engage in violence.

Basically, as to the leftist fringe, the FBI are blinded by affection, and as to the right’s fringe the FBI monitoring regimen against the right is way too broad and spread too thin to catch the actual fringe. The FBI are hounding pro life activists, parents disgruntled by what they deem grooming of their children, and any conservative remotely connected to January 6, 2021 activities or who was merely in the vicinity of DC on or around that day. In truth, one wonders how human traffickers and mega drug dealers are being dealt with as the FBI turns its monstrous gaze inward at innocent civilians whose ideologies the mostly rabidly loyalists Democratic Party activists in their ranks deem as illegitimate just for existing.

Put more bluntly: the partisan bias of the FBI effectively blinds it from the threats of leftist or rightist fringe elements who could engage in political violence such as we have not seen since the Civil War. This doesn’t mean we will see a civil war, but compared to every major upheaval since the Civil War, this could be the largest even if it doesn’t trip into a second full-fledged civil war.

Trump’s prosecutors or persecutors, depending on your perspective, should take much cognizance of the consequences of how they engage in their efforts. Even if Trump is guilty, if the prosecution looks like persecution because it is patently unfair, or if it looks like the law is too rigorously applied to Trump while others go scott-free, then the temporary satisfaction of bringing Trump down will be replaced quickly by the sheer terror or major political violence and upheaval, perhaps from BOTH right and left fringe elements.

But to not prosecute Trump at all just because it will make people irate, if indeed he is guilty, would be a miscarriage of the Rule of law, hence the need to be equally vigorous about unethical and possibly criminal activities on the other side, of which serious and credible accusations have arisen.

On the other hand is Trump himself, who some may even suggest should consider bowing out and endorsing someone for the good of the country, albeit others will argue if he does that then lawfare will constantly be used to target Republicans knowing they will just bow out when targeted. It is not always true that bowing out is precedent for others, especially if you know maybe you strayed close enough to the edge of the law to raise legitimate concerns, but likewise merely bowing out may not solve the problem if lawfare is simple a tactic now employed by the left against the right.

This means that, even if Trump knows or sincerely believes he is innocent, there is no surefire response he can make for the good of the country as either bowing out or slugging it out could have unknown consequences.

But for his prosecutors/persecutors, depending on your perspective, there is a clear need for caution: to engage in a fair and open process with absolute transparency, to remove all conflicts of interest, and to ensure that the law is applied equally with regards accusations against the other side, e.g. the Biden family dealings. What one cannot see is caution, indeed the rhetoric of his prosecutors has mimicked the hardest and most militant leftwing fringe elements in their rhetoric, not only against Trump but his supporters as well, as if they would truly know whether or not he is guilty.

The blatant partisanship and the fact that the leading prosecutors all have shown reckless abandonment of any pretense of this not being an operation helmed by the DNC itself all bode ill for our country EVEN IF in one or more of these cases he is guilty. HOW one pursues rule of law, including the optics and how one addresses the supporters of the accused, is as important as applying the law to everyone regardless of office or status.

How we got here is a discussion for after we figure out how to navigate past these treacherous waters to safe harbor, and then, when the conflicts and rages have passed, we can ask how to prevent such a situation from happening again. We must preserve our Union and either protecting Trump from what you see as persecution or justly prosecuting his alleged crimes are not nearly as important as maintaining our political fabric and healing our divisions.

Even in the worst-case scenario, we would not predict with certainty that civil war must result, but we do well to warn ourselves of the very real possibility, even if it is the less likely of outcomes. We could see the left totally win as the right lays down, and this some form of leftist Caesarism or the right win and the left lay down, and thus we would see a rightist Caesarism. Or we could see a period of unrest followed by something that cools things off and causes calmer heads on both sides to reach a tolerable peace, this being probably the greatest of possibilities, but still not pleasant.

Due caution and concern should be engaged in and frank, closed-door meetings between the different sides aimed at cooling the political temperature should be ongoing and immediate. The consequences to the world if America falls from within would make World War Two look like a skirmish. Thus, the preservation of our Union, in any form, is, with a 100-year view, more tolerable than even having our political faction totally win if such “victory” undermines the Union.

While for us at the Freedomist liberty or death is an essential element of our ideas and while we may tend to think a Republican win is the least hazardous, for now, to our rights and prosperity, the urgency of preserving our Union for future generations is equally pressing. The ability to carve out gaps for freedom even if the authoritarians on either side have some ascendance for a time is equally urgent to these other considerations and may be the only aspect of preserving our Union that we who do not hold power can do. This applies to all of us, whether we count ourselves to right, to the left, or somewhere in between.

BREAKING: New House Speaker Elected on First Vote – Mike Johnson Wins Unanimous GOP Support

Representative Mike Johnson (R-LA) was elected the next House Speaker to replace Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) on the first vote, winning 100 percent of Republican votes, all 220, with Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) getting all DNC and Socialist votes, 209 in total. As the left refers to Johnson as a right winger, a pejorative intended to invoke accusations of “ism” and “phobia,” but is really code that means “this guy supports the American constitution,” that is a good sign Americans might not have a “Uniparty” Speaker like McCarthy, his predecessor, was/is.

Johnson also supported Donald Trump’s efforts to challenge the 2020 Mass Mailer election, a process the DNC-CCP and its media content marketers call “overturning an election,” an accusation that is only ever lobbed at “right wingers,” that is, Americans that support the constitution of the United States being Rule of Law over the woketarian ideology based on the unfounded and psychotically insane assumption that white people invented evil so we must destroy everything white people invented (starting with the Christian faith, then the American republic).

To his credit, he also voted against certifying the election, one of only 147 Republicans bold enough to do so. Their reason for not certifying the election should simply have been that you cannot have an open and transparent election using mass mailing as your primary means of voting. More than 60 percent of the votes cast in the 2020 election were by mass mailer, a crime that has yet to be rectified, a crime that starts with our courts, who abandoned their duty to uphold and defend the constitution for the sake of the DNC-CCP.

He is also a staunch pro-life supporter, so he seems to be consistently “socially conservative.” This writer is cautiously optimistic that this selection might give the GOP some incentive to start acting like a defiant opposition party to the DNC-CCP, a criminal organization that equates the Bill of Rights to Far-Rightism, a treasonous assumption when held by members of the government whose authority comes from that document.

GOP Continues to Play House Speaker Games

The day started off with a new nominee selected to replace the failed nomination of Jim Jordan (R-OH) for House Speaker. The day ended with that new nominee, Tom Emmer (R-MN) dropping out, to be replaced by the new, new, NEW GOP House Speaker nominee Mike Johnson, of Louisianna.

Tom Emmer was opposed by President Donald Trump, mostly because he voted to certify the Mass Mailer election of 2020 that gave us the Mass Mailer President Joe Biden committee that currently rules our land in un-American ways. Trump said of Emmer on Truth Social, “Voting for a Globalist RINO like Tom Emmer would be a tragic mistake!”

These events show that the GOP, such as it is, is really a party of three factions, the one faction is the RNC-DNC, the uniparty members who are happy to be vassals in the DNC-CCP empire, taking up space of true opposition that might effectively blunt the DNC-CCP’s assault on our republic using laws that already exist, laws the GOP at all levels appears afraid to execute against their frenemies.

The second faction is the Americanists, the ones being called “far right” by the DNC-CCP machine, for, to them, the American constitution is itself a far-right document, a dog whistle for their favorite bogeyman, the White Supremacist, The third faction are the cowards, the go-alongs to get along, the ones who will just as likely vote for an RNC-DNC candidate as they will an Americanist one.

With talks of some republicans being willing to work with the party of sedition, the DNC-CCP, to get a “compromise” House Speaker, the Americans still left in our country cannot help but notice that the GOP is a vehicle of power primarily for the DNC-CCP, and that Americans within that party now find themselves on the outer fringe of it, despite the overwhelming majority of GOP supporters favoring that American fringe over the RNC-DNC that continues to control the party from within.

It’s time to leave the GOP and form parties for Americans, not Marxists and their adjacent friends within the corrupted, destroyed GOP.

The one bright spot in all of this is so long as a House Speaker is not named, the looming government shutdown will happen, something all of us Americans can cheer, for no enemy, foreign or domestic, poses more of an existential threat to Americans than our own currently mass-mailer occupied and infiltrated Federal government does.

America versus Progmerica in a Land Without God

“A lady asked Dr. Franklin, ‘well, Doctor, what have we got a republic or a monarchy?’ ‘A republic,’ replied the Doctor, ‘if you can keep it.’” – James McHenry, from his 1787 journal

The University of Virginia’s Center for Politics released a poll that shows 47 percent of Trump supporters and 51 percent of Biden supporters view the other side as the biggest threat to America. More troubling is the second part of that poll, which shows 41 percent of Biden supporters and 38 percent of Trump supporters believing violence is justified in stopping the other side. 31 percent of Trump supporters and 24 percent of Biden supporters question the “viability of democracy.”

The poll is skewed from the start in its selection of Biden supporters versus Trump supporters, as a sizeable proportion of American citizens will either vote for someone other than Biden or won’t vote at all, as they are completely disenfranchised with the whole political institution. Still, the poll is useful in reading the barometer of the times, “America” is a divided house, even if this poll fails to get to the root of what that division is.

The pollsters themselves reveal their leftist bias by using the phrase “viability of democracy,” with democracy being the key operating phrase. The American Communist Party regularly uses the term democracy in a positive way when “justifying” their own potential rise to power, so “democracy” in and of itself is a problematic phrase that is existentially at odds with the American republic.

A democracy comes in many forms, including what most people in America think of as a democracy, a representative government selected through free and open elections. But democracies can be totalitarian, with one-party states that outlaw all other parties, with the party in power claiming it has the mandate, or at least the best interests, of the people. Therefore, it can rule in their interest to make it the best it can possibly be for the orthodox members of society (the people willing to conform to the will of the state, for the good of the whole).

America, under its validity of rule, its Declaration of Independence (the first and foremost source for the legitimization of our government’s right to rule) and its Constitution, is a limited-power Republic in which one branch of government is representative and selected through allegedly free and open elections. The limits placed on government by the Constitution, and the deputization by the Declaration of Independence of the people in times when government does not act with Constitutionally-defined restraint makes us a republic, not a democracy.

We are not ruled by the majority, but rather, we are ruled by restraint, and empowered to BE the authority in times when that elected body and its appointees (be it judicial or executive appointment) violate the source of their right to rule.

A democracy is the mob led by the few to oppress the few. A republic respects the inherent rights of individuals not to be violated, even by the mob, whether that mob emerged organically from the bottom up or (as is almost ALWAYS the case) was manipulated from the top down to create the desired spirit the few find useful to their parochial interests.

The pollsters themselves reveal the two nations this land now occupies, nations that are so entangled they can both exist in the same household.

On one side is the progmerican, the individual who thinks of “America” as a Democracy and doesn’t feel so constrained by our Constitution, our Declaration of Independence. This individual thinks like one who denies the sacredness, the sovereignty, the stewardship of the individual and imagines (whether they realize it or not) that the world can and should be FORCED to be like them, to think like them, where dissent is called “mis/disinformation” or “hate speech,” and laws are supported that would criminalize such beliefs when they are publicly shared or publicly known.

The progmerican does not value the individual unless that individual conforms to a specific set of values that are ultimately defined by the “experts,” the de facto oligarchy of the land (until one charismatic power arises that can make himself or herself the beginning and end of the law in the land).

On the other side is the American, the individual who values the sacredness, the sovereignty, and the stewardship of the individual, and accepts the restraints on government as defined by our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution, viewing the adherence to those documents as the legitimization of power, not the majority rule without restraint that “Democrats” envision.

The division between Trump and Biden supporters isn’t so clean, though, as plenty of Biden supporters do so out of a lack of belief that the Democratic Party is not American in nature and seeks to ultimately, definitively, end any vestige of Rule of Law as defined by our two documents, the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. On the other side, plenty of Trump supporters end up supporting hate speech and disinformation criminalization, as we can see in the support for the censoring of Americans who dare support the Palestinians over Israel.

Neither party has demonstrated in deed any real commitment to the Rule of Law in America, with the Republican Party only being willing to use the language of the American Rule of Law to appeal for power authorization. Once they get that power, they consistently fail to address the open violations of that Rule of Law by their frenemy, the Democratic Party. Let us hope our new Speaker of the House is part of a process that is about to change that current reality.

There are two nations forming, with smaller ones nipping at both their borders, and neither nation makes God their first source of wisdom within our American republican framework. This is where the call to violence appeals to more and more people, as both sides find it increasingly hard to humanize the other side without the Holy Spirit-led conviction to do as Christ commands us, to love our enemies.

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” – John 13:34-35

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? “ – Matthew 5:43-47

In a land without God, a land filled with nations that are existentially opposed to one another, the only hope for peace is a shared belief in the Lord of Lords, the God of Abraham, Jacob, and Isaac, who sent His Only Son to save us by grace alone lest we should boast. Unless and until Americans repent and turn to the sacredness of the individual, made in God’s image, then “Americans” will show no grace, no mercy to their enemies, and Progmericans will only grow bolder in their open defiance of the American contract that gives government in this land the “right” to Rule, our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution.

The New Pulse of the Neo-Con Forever War

What follows is an “estimate of the situation”, concerning what may well become known as the “Guns of October”. This is a strategic assessment of the current situation in the Levant, and what the deeper plan[s] may be. Nothing in this article is based on “classified information” or “anonymous sources”, but sober estimates based on training, experience, intuition and “informed speculation”.

Around the world, October 7th stunned many people. Even after over twenty years of continuous warfare, the scenes of slaughter coming out of Israel were stunning, both in their daring, but even moreso for their brutality and savagery. Inevitably, perhaps, some people have began to promote an idea that the Israeli High Command was operating in full knowledge of what Hamas was going to do, because there was “no way” that the vaunted Israeli intelligence agencies could have missed Hamas’ preparations.

The fact is, people are always people, and people make mistakes – often, those mistakes boggle the imagination with their stupidity. There is no real evidence of anything like an intentional conspiracy on the part of the Israeli High Command’s part happening.

In this case, however, there are parties throughout the world, who have been desperate for a crisis like Yom Kippur 2.0 to restore their flagging efforts. This group has been pushing an endless series of wars since the 1990’s, and while their influence is, indeed great, they are masters of the notion espoused by one-time White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel’s quip, “… you never want a serious crisis to go to waste…”

The people in power, or hanging on to the tailings of power, who espouse such ideas, are known as “neo-cons”…But – what is a “neo-con”?

Foreign Policy Magazine accurately describes neo-cons as “liberal imperialists on steroids”. They are firm believers in the notion of a highly totalitarian vision of the so-called “Pax Americana”, a series of policies that have produced a national debt in excess of an eye-watering $33 trillion, as of 10/18/2023. These beliefs – and the people behind them – also led to the roiling disasters in Israel, Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and most of the rest of the Middle East.

Another key descriptor of the neo-cons is that they have no political party, beyond that which is most expedient for them at the moment. Zbigniew Brzezinski (1928 – 2017), one-time National Security Advisor to Democrat party President Jimmy Carter, laid out the neo-con strategy and thought in his 1997 book, “The Grand Chessboard”. His criticisms of Republican President George W. Bush’s handling of the post-9/11 wars were not one of actual opposition, but complaining about their mis-handling.

Neo-Con thinking is also at the core of the Russo-Ukrainian War that began in February of 2022. No matter what side of that conflict the Reader may fall on, the fact is that – like Japan attacking Pearl Harbor in 1941 – the West, led by the United States, goaded Russia into its attempt to dismember the Ukrainian state. Why? Because the neo-cons desperately wanted to initiate Cold War 2.0, because Islamic jihadi’s were simply not working as an existential threat to Western society that justified obscenely massive military spending; terrorists are annoying, but they will never seriously threaten the Western social order.

In early-to-mid 2022, there was a point where the world held its breath, as it seemed that the major powers of the world might actually enter into direct, large-scale combat with each other, something that has not been seen since 1945. While that danger still looms, the important takeaway, is that these situations have sparked increasingly strident calls to revamp western military establishments, to something resembling “the old days”.

But – how does this relate to the “Guns of October”?

In the aftermath of the seeming failure of neo-con ambitions as the “Global War On Terror” sputtered out in the mid-20-teens, despite the flare-up provided by the so-called “Arab Spring”, the neo-con movement became increasingly desperate for something to revive their plans to continue their series of planned wars, the exhaustion and disgust of the people’s of the West – and Russia – over the never-ending series of wars at the dawn of what should have been a “golden century” for humanity.

The clearest example of the desperation of the neo-cons, including their abject hatred of US President Donald Trump, came when Trump rejected their plans to strike three targets in Iran in response to the 2019 downing of an unmanned US drone. Trump canceled the retaliatory attacks when he was informed that the attacks were expected to kill at least 150 Iranians; Trump did not feel that level of retaliation to be a “proportionate” response to shooting down an unmanned drone.

But now, with a reimposition of sanctions against Russia in April of 2021, leading to a near-war with that state, the neo-cons within Washington DC and allies in several European governments have been awaiting a crisis of an appropriate scale to move the world back into the realm of “forever wars”.

Enter October 7th, of 2023.

With increasing calls in the West to end the open and naked barbarity of Hamas – barbarity that organization happily live-streamed, until it realized how bad the optics were – coupled to the deranged bleatings of the Communist mullahs in control of Iran – handed the neo-cons the golden crisis they have desperately needed to galvanize Western governments into continuing the wars: the United States – even under an “anti-Israel” establishment – cannot oppose Israel in assaulting Gaza, nor in hammering the Iranian-back Hezbollah organization in southern Lebanon, especially in the face of Hamas’ barbarity, without suffering catastrophic political consequences. Similarly, the Western European “street” is fed up with their government’s policies of accommodation and appeasement of “refugees” who spare no expense to tell the world how much they hate their “hosts”, who spared little expense to give them shelter and sanctuary.

Caught in the middle, are the Muslim governments of the region, none of whom want anything to do with this war, but who have enough internal problems that they cannot be seen by their populations to be completely abandoning the Palestinians. But, with more and more US Navy warships being deployed to the region at speed, the possibility of an “incident” occurring that “required” a military response against Iran – one that would make the Iraq war look like a training exercise – is an increasingly likely possibility.

Why is this important? Put simply, the United States does not have the manpower to fight the wars the neo-cons want the West to fight. As has been pointed out previously at the Freedomist, two decades of no-victory wars – as well as policies to insult and demean the US military’s primary recruiting pool – have turned a generation of potential recruits firmly against military service…so much so, that there has been a quietly increasing spate of military officers “speaking truth to power”, pointing out that the current world strategic will eventually force the United States to return to conscription, the dreaded “D-word”, that has been anathema to both the political and military spheres alike, for fifty years, since peacetime conscription was ended in the US by President Richard M. Nixon in 1973.

The neo-cons have painted themselves into a corner: They have relentlessly pursued aggressive policies that have burned off most of any good will built up by the United States over the past four decades, in pursuit of a strategy of continual conflict that requires a level of military recruitment that is a pale memory. At the same time, their actions have severely damaged the US economy, because markets not under a regimen of centralized planning respond poorly to toxic cycles of borrowing money, then borrowing more money to simply pay the interest, all while expanding the pool of currency by running the printing presses at high speed.

Likewise, the manufacture of basic war materials has been so neglected the West is finding it difficult to supply a single large war, much less multiple wars.

With much of the potential military recruit-base firmly rejecting staggering enlistment bonuses of over $50,000, there will come a point where the United States will be forced to attempt to revive the Draft for 18-to-30 year-olds…and there has been legislation language already draft, that was repeatedly submitted for some thirteen years.

Trump Threatens to Violate Chuktkan’s Gag Order

After the lawfare assassin, Judge Tanya Chutkan, issued a gag order preventing Donald Trump, the frontrunner in the Presidential election, from being able to challenge the false claims and unconstitutional actions of the DNC-CCP’s parade of seditionists, Donald Trump spoke at a rally in Clive, Iowa in which he stated he is willing to go to jail to defend this country. The statement in and of itself might trigger the Judge to issue an arrest warrant, which might be the last thing the DNC-CCP wants to happen, even if its manipulated revolutionary base, thirsting for blood, desperately wants to see it happen.

Judge Chutkun’s nonsensical statement to justify her unjust ruling speaks to the lawlessness of the party she serves. She said “First Amendment protections yield to the administration of justice and to the protection of witnesses. His presidential candidacy does not give him carte blanche to vilify … public servants who are simply doing their job.”

Americans have a fundamental right to confront their accusers, and a God-given right to “vilify” public officials. As a matter of fact, our country was founded by vilifying British officials who were “simply doing their job.” As for justice, an American land that does not grant First Amendment rights is not just at all, as can be plainly understood by any simple American.

The “best” defense the DNC-CCP has to justify its anti-American actions expose the true depravity behind their actions, and this characterless Judge exemplifies that reality in her own words used to justify such a damning anti-American revolutionary defense.

At the Iowa rally, Trump continued to rightly vilify the vilifiable, mainly this seditious judge who, if we were ruled by Americans and not progmericans (which are no Americans at all) would be IMMEDIATELY removed from office, lose her law license, and possibly face charges of high crimes and misdemeanors. But in progmerica, the “nation” this pervert of justice serves, she is in the “right” and we Americans are seditionists in her Empire of hate, fear, and fake hope.

He said in his speech, “They’re getting beaten very badly by me in the polls. They think the only way they can catch me is to stop me from speaking, they want to take away my voice. A judge gave a gag order today. Did you hear that? On speech. Which I believe is totally unconstitutional, what she did. A judge gave a gag order. A judge doesn’t like me too much. Her whole life is not liking me. She gave me a gag order. Do you know what a gag order is? You can’t speak badly about your opponent. But this is weaponry all being done because Joe Biden is losing the election. And losing very, very badly to all of us in the polls.”

The most relevant statement came shortly after when he declared, “But what they don’t understand is that I am willing to go to jail if that’s what it takes for our country to win and to become a democracy again.”

This writer does not wish jail time on President Trump, but, strategically speaking, should he continue to “violate” this anti-American revolutionary lawfare ruling and the DNC-CCP choose to put this man in jail, accompanied by the Secret Service (because that’s the law, a former President gets 24/7 Secret Service coverage), this will be the end of the DNC-CCP in most parts of the land, save for lost states like New York, California, and Illinois.

God has chosen to place in opposition to the rightful punishers of our land, the DNC-CCP, a flawed man who acts often without thinking and perpetuates crudeness and incivility into our political landscape that has no righteousness to it. Yet still it is that man, Donald J Trump, which God has chosen to make the only viable clear opposition to the perversion the DNC-CCP hopes to force on all Americans, stripping us of guns, legalizing unborn child murder up to birth (and probably soon beyond), denying basic human biology, and elevating sexual practices that will, if they become the norm, terminate the human species.

Satan has done a “great” thing through this party of fear, hate, and fake hope, and so far, God has chosen not to deliver our wicked land from this new Babylon. Only a repentant nation can be delivered from the scourge of the DNC-CCP. Not even Donald Trump can save us, only God can, and only if we seek him, which, so far, we are not.

Vengeance is the Lord’s, not ours, so these perverts of justice are yet still the rightful rulers of a land that chose manna over God, that chose Ba’al over Christ, and continues to do so even as we descend further into the maelstrom of the cult of death the DNC-CCP and its sheep have embraced.

Bidens Made Millions Helping Arm Hamas?

An indictment against Biden whistleblower Gal Luft has accidently revealed the Bidens’ connections to a Chinese-Communist-Party-controlled conglomerate that depended on Joe Biden’s influence on government to essentially sell weapons to a provider of arms to the bloodthirsty death cult Hamas. The company, CEFC China Energy, supplied the Bidens with millions of “consulting” dollars in exchange for their manipulation of government to sell arms to Qatar which were then delivered to Hamas.

As revealed in Luft’s indictment, CEFC China Energy members engaged illicit trafficking of arms to countries including Libya and Qatar. Luft often referenced the weapons as “toys” in correspondence evidenced in the indictment.

Patrick Ho, the Director of CEFC China Energy whom Hunter Biden has described as his personal business partner and also the “spy chief of China,” sent Luft an email in April 2015 with the subject line “Shopping lists,” writing about Qatar’s weaponry needs:

“It so turns out that Qatar also needs urgently a list of toys from us. But the same reason that we had for Libya, we cannot sell directly to them. Is there a way you could act as an intermediary in both cases? Could you ask your man to see if he is willing?”

“Qatar good chance be there is no embargo. Libya is another case be going against an embargo is tricky,” replied Luft. Ho followed up stressing Qatar’s “urgent” need for weapons, adding he’d be meeting with “their chief” to discuss the matter:

“Qatar needs toys quite urgently. Their chief is coming to China and we hope to give them a piece of good news. Please confirm soonest.”

The news is not surprising to those of us paying attention. It will not be reported in any credible way by the media machine controlled by the DNC-CCP, though the dots are easy to connect. As Republicans consider “compromising” with the Democratic Party, the openly seditious (if you believe in the American republic, but not if you believe in Progmerica, which is no America at all) party, on selecting a new House Speaker you must all the more understand that Republicans are mostly controlled opposition, the DNC-CCP’s rearguard, more aligned with Chairman Xi and his “mixed economy” than Thomas Jefferson. This party lashes out more at MAGA than it does the DNC-CCP, and that’s no accident.

As news like this continues to pour out, and the Republican Party continues to act as if the DNC-CCP is just a family member in slight disagreement (as opposed to an existential threat to the republic their very party’s name claims to represent), then you, the reader, must realize the GOP offers no real opposition to the assault on the republic this corrupt party (the Democratic Party) represents.

God has made them vessels of wrath made for destruction to be instruments of wrath against a nation that has rejected God in exchange for a lie that man can make himself in his own image. Let God contend with them, even as we peacefully choose to not comply with their ungodly demands.

GOP’S Speaker Nominee, Jim Jordan, not a Lock to Win

Jim Jordan has been nominated by the GOP to be their next Speaker of the U.S. House after the previous nominee, Steve Scalise, withdrew. Reports are emerging of DNC-CCP operatives within the GOP (so-called moderates) not allowing Jordan to become speaker as they don’t wish to “reward” the rebellion of the 8 who caused their preferred controlled opposition leader, Kevin McCarthy to be reomved from office.

CNN reported on one anonymous insider saying. “The approximately 20 I’ve talked to know we must be prepared. We cannot let the msall group dictate to the whole group. They want a minority of the majority to dictate and as a red-blooded American I refuse to be a victim.” That very statement reeks of a seditious heart that does not understand a republic, but only a mobocracy, which this “anonymous source” seems to support. Intentional Consequences – How A Cold War Warning Framed A 21st Century Battleplan

BACKGROUND

It should come as no surprise to anyone reading this, that there is something strange happening at the southern border of the United States…even NEWSWEEK magazine is talking about it. No one who claims to watch the news at any level of attention has failed to see the hysterical cries from all levels of society in New York City that the mainstream media bothers to pay attention to, that the “migrant crisis” has finally come home to roost in the self-declared “sanctuary cities”, who are now facing just a fraction of what tiny towns along the US-Mexico border have been dealing with on a weekly basis, and for decades.

But, it is considerably more than that. In fact, it is alarming in the extreme.

In previous decades, a significant proportion of the illegal aliens crossing the US-Mexico border were women and small children; indeed, despite breathless denunciations to the contrary, the phenomenon of the “Anchor Baby” is very real. Prior to 2020, many, if not most, of the illegal crossers were unaccompanied men, actual “economic refugees” from Mexico and other parts of Central & South America, who were coming north to seek work, because even making significantly less than American-born workers, they were still able to make enough to more than fully support their families back home.

However, beginning at some point in 2020, that mixture began to significantly shift.

Beginning, again, in 2020, more and more Africans began to be observed at the border, crossing in illegally. However, like Mexican illegals before them, significant proportions of the flow were women and children.

But, beginning in 2022, the numbers shifted again. Increasingly, unaccompanied men of “fighting ages” (17-45 years old) began to appear – not mixed in with families, but in very large – alarmingly large, in fact – proportions of crossing groups.

What follows is an analysis that may sound “conspiratorial”. Given the current rhetoric from certain organizations – it is most definitely something that needs to be taken seriously.

Nearly fifty years ago, now, 1974 was a strange time. It was the height of the Cold War; the Vietnam War was grinding to its bloody end; tensions between the United States and the Soviet Union were still very frosty, and getting more hostile as the political fallout from Richard M. Nixon’s resignation from the Presidency threw treaties and agreements into doubt.

In the midst of this turmoil, a small, 18-page study was presented to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) under contract number RDA-TR-4301-001. Its title?

“A SOVIET PARAMILITARY ATTACK ON U.S. NUCLEAR FORCES – A CONCEPT”

The paper outlines the feasibility of an “asymmetric” (to borrow a phrase from the modern day) attack on the US’s “nuclear triad” by Soviet special forces teams inserted into the US by slipping them over the border, mixed in with the yearly flow of illegal migrant workers.

When viewed through a more modern lens, this study stands as a stark warning for the current situation at the border, with only minimal editing for the current situation: simply replace “Soviet” with “militant actor groups”, and “nuclear forces” with “civilian soft targets”.

This is not hyperbole – if the numbers remained as small as they once were, this view would, indeed, verge into paranoia. However, with even the low figures hovering around 10,000 people per week, and even being generous in estimating the numbers of actual refugees, that equates to the core cadre of an infantry division entering the United States each week.

BEANS, BULLETS & TRAITORS

Now, the above is a pretty heady statement to make. After all, how would such a hypothetical force be armed and supplied, to what purpose, and by whom?

If you, the Reader, think that we are about to go to a very dark place – you would be correct.

It has long been known that certain elements of the United States government’s apparatus have deliberately tread very carefully, lest they goad the c.100,000,000 private firearms owners in the country into doing something “rather rash”. Frequently, they even try to crack jokes about it – jokes which absolutely no one finds funny.

Those same elements, however, certainly seem hell-bent to inflict demented plans on not simply the US population, but on the populations of the wider world. The United States’ population, though, is unique as it has not simply the highest proportion of private firearms ownership per capita, but also the largest numbers overall…and a significant proportion of that number are military veterans, many with recent combat experience.

In fact, those elements are so concerned about this potential threat to their plans that they have been issuing increasingly strident warning calls about the situation since the mid-1990’s. Yet, for them, the “problem” remains.

But – how to mitigate that problem?

It is clear to these elements that deploying the actual US armed forces, or even police, against the citizens they are sworn to defend through “kinetic action” is not an option: far too many would almost certainly either desert outright, or might actually mutiny, taking their weapons and joining their fellow citizens who are being attacked. And this is all aside from the fact that those “regular” forces, even in concert with law enforcement officers, simply do not have the numbers to make “martial law” a viable option.

But…What if those forces were given an actual, hostile foreign target inside the United States? For that matter, what if those private firearms owners could be induced by circumstance to join the regular armed forces and law enforcement in an action to “defend America” against that force? Stentorian denials from the “right wing” on social media aside, this “Reichstag Fire” scenario would force self-proclaimed “2A supporters” into a Catch-22: Either support the direct defense of the nation – in concert with the armed forces and the police – or suffer consequences far worse than being exposed as fakes.

However, as there has been no such credible threat inside the United States – because “Antifa” is not the threat many, including that group’s members, suppose it to be – such a force would have to be “imported”.

Hence: foreign, fighting-age men, flooding into the country in massive numbers – but numbers not sufficient to actually conquer the country, but certainly enough to cause a sufficiently large and alarming threat…a flood actively encouraged, by public policy.

Note that none of either the foregoing, or what follows, is even a possibility without the active collusion of large sections of the government apparatus in Washington, DC.

It is vital to understand that, even assuming that certain reporting, dismissed a decade ago as “deranged conspiracy theories” were to be true, such a potential hostile force cannot successfully seize control of any great portion of the United States – at least, not for any real length of time.

But – why?

Simply put, the potentially hostile forces that would act, would be extremely disjointed and lacking in any more than the most basic of direction, and outside the cities, would find themselves vastly outnumbered, outgunned and over-matched by the local population. Unlike other parts of the world where groups like these operate, the local population in the United States – overall, but most certainly in the more suburban and rural areas – are very well-armed, by current world standards, and are peopled with a high percentage of recent military veterans, most of whom are armed.

This does not mean that such hostile forces would be completely impotent. Indeed, current technology means that these forces could easily arm and equip themselves effectively, simply by raiding firearms dealers (making the publication of the personal information of firearms permit holders over the last few years…“interesting”) not simply for weapons and ammunition, but also for the information on the dealers’ Form 4473’s, as described in the famous scene from the original “Red Dawn” (1984). As well, functional support equipment could be constructed at reasonable speed, allowing this potential hostile force to cause a lot of “hate & discontent”, and all without a great deal of the typical heavy ordnance one would see in most of the conflicts of the last c.25 years…for a time, at least.

In the aftermath – if this strictly hypothetical plan were to be real – the surviving American citizens would be ready to fall in line behind a government professing to have “learned its lesson”, that would revitalize and regularize citizen “militias”…under strict government control and supervision, of course.

IN THE COUNTRY OF THE BLIND

Is any of the foregoing true, though?

There are no “smoking gun” documents – that the author is aware of – that detail the above speculative plan as a real, deliberate and ongoing operation…That in no way means that it is impossible.

There is an overused saw in current vogue, to wit, that “history does not repeat – but it does rhyme”. In this case, real, fundamental manipulation of a population to a meaningful purpose they would otherwise not only have no interest in, but would actively oppose if said plan were enacted too quickly, is not a thing that can be achieved overnight. It is a process that takes years to plan and decades to implement.

Once again – 1974 was an odd time. Lot of plans were flitting around the literal swamp that Washington, DC perches in, like a vulture’s nest…Plans like “NSSM 200”.
