A Christian student therapist is considering legal action against an NHS trust, alleging that she was asked to watch lectures and read texts linking her religion to racism.

Amy Gallagher, 33, was studying on a two-year part-time course to complete her training as a psychotherapist at the Portman Clinic in London, part of the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust.

She told The Mail on Sunday that in a lecture on race and racism, Dr Anne Aiyegbusi, a forensic psychoanalyist, “spoke negatively about Christianity, while no other religions were mentioned”. Gallagher said it was also recommended that she watch an online seminar called Whiteness: A Problem for Our Time, which examined “’white privilege and white fragility”.

It is understood that this seminar was part of

The DNC Senator unwilling to totally surrender power to them, Joe Manchin, is telling anyone that wants to listen that he has all the confidence in the world that a bill will be passed which will protect the electoral college process from subterfuge.  The bill might be created as a response to the alleged ‘insurection’ of January 6th, 2022, but it might just end up harming the DNC in 2024 if they can’t manage to secure a mass mailer election again.

Bill to block interference in presidential vote count ‘absolutely’ will pass, Manchin says

Sen Joe Manchin is confident that legislation to protect the Electoral College certification process from interference by the losing party will pass after he joined with Republicans to doom an effort to change the Senate’s rules in order to pass a voting rights bill.

Joined by Republican Sen Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Mr Manchin appeared on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday to tout the legislation as a bipartisan compromise that would serve the purpose of making it harder to overturn the results of an election that actually had a chance of passage in the evenly-divided Senate.

“It will solve the problem that caused the problem,” said Mr Manchin of the legislation.

The bill would raise the threshold needed for lawmakers in the House and Senate to raise objections to individual states’ Electoral College vote submissions, as well as clarifying the role of the vice president in the process which lawmakers in recent days have pointed to as unclear thanks to murky wording in the…

Apparently, a lot of the people funding the vaccine mandate protests by Canadian truckers are also hoping this act of defiance will help end Communism.  The manistream media might be scandalized by Canadaians wanting to end Communism in their country, but many Canadians are more scandalized by the media’s response than the financiers’ intentions.

Thousands of Canadian truckers, along with other supporters, arrived in Ottawa last month to protest against COVID-19 mandates enforced by the country’s liberal leader, Justin Trudeau, and the Communist Party of Canada.

Known as the “Freedom Convoy,” truckers are drawing attention to public health measures, such as vaccine mandates, and how they are an overreach by the government and abuse of power.

The number of people advocating for the truckers has grown substantially over the past few weeks, which was evident by the nearly 10 million dollars that was raised on GoFundMe.

Even though the crowdfunding website no longer intends to distribute funds to the truckers, those supporting the movement say they will continue to stand by the convoy.

Twitter user Laura Lynn Tyler Thompson recently interviewed a woman who traveled from Toronto to bring 1,550 Polish sausages to the truckers.

Print Your Beer at Home as You Need It

Imagine if you had all the key ingredients to create almost any combination of potential beverages your heart would desire.  Imagine pressing a few buttons and creating, from the same machine (just add water), a whole range of beverages.  That reality could be coming to a home near you thanks to a company called Cana that claims to be developing the technology that could do just that.

Introducing Cana: A molecular beverage printer in every home helps us take a giant step towards decentralized manufacturing

From Medium.com

We know we can print an infinite number of beverages from a few core flavor compounds. We know we can do this across many existing beverage categories — juice, soda, hard seltzer, cocktails, wine, tea, coffee, and beer. Consumer taste testing panels score our printed beverages at the same or better taste levels as commercially available alternatives. Our hardware designs will print beverages quickly and accurately. Our pricing and the footprint of our hardware can yield significant savings and advantages for most households.

We’ve also realized that we can reimagine the beverage industry from the ground up. Our focus is not about mimicking existing beverages, but rewriting and inventing entirely new beverage categories, delivering radically different brands, and enabling creators to develop their own beverage brands digitally.

Pamela Moses, a Memphis-based Black Lives Matter activist, has received a sentence of six years behind bars for illegally registering to vote in 2019.

The 44-year-old was sentenced Monday inside the Shelby County Criminal Court by Judge Mark Ward, the Daily Memphian reported Friday.

He sentenced her to six years and a day but explained that if she finished programs in prison and also “maintains good behavior,” he would consider putting her on probation following a nine month period.

The woman’s attorney said he filed a motion for another trial.

Moses founded the Black Lives Matter Memphis chapter and ran for mayor but lost the general election in October 2019, Fox 13 reported in November 2019.

Meanwhile, she has maintained her innocence, claiming she was unaware she was ineligible to vote and saying she believed her probation from a 2015 guilty plea had ended and she could begin restoring her voting…

Last week, aging rocker Neil Young tried to get podcast host Joe Rogan booted from Spotify, and it backfired. But the left has painted a target on Rogan, and they want him silenced. So now Obama has quietly entered the fray.

Obama has a podcast on Spotify, and it was somehow leaked to the media that he might leave them for another platform.

Adam Manno reports at the Daily Mail:

Are the Obamas leaving Spotify? Barack and Michelle are ‘preparing to shop for a new podcast partner’ amid frustration with the platform and outcry over Joe Rogan as their three-year-deal nears end

The Obamas are said to be shopping for a new podcasting partner because they’re frustrated with the slow pace of development at Spotify, where they’re more interested in introducing new voices than on hosting shows themselves.

Former President Barack Obama, 60, and former First Lady Michelle, 58, are looking at new deals with other companies, three podcast industry sources told Insider.

NBC appears to be ignoring how badly the conditions are for Olympic athletes in China: report – Raw Story

For anyone watching the Beijing Olympics, everything looks great, but behind the scenes, it’s a disaster.

The Guardian reported Sunday that the two main issues are weather and the COVID crisis.

“The Swedes have suggested that the conditions in the mountains are perilously cold,” said the report. “A Polish skater says she was living in fear in a Beijing isolation ward and has ‘cried until I have no more tears.’ The Finns have claimed an ice hockey player is being kept in Covid quarantine for no reason. And the Germans? They are frustrated that there is no hot food at the downhill skiing.”

The main problem facing those on the mountains is that the International Ski Federation takes temperature into consideration before pausing an event, but in this case, they have ignored wind chills. The result was a horrific photo of downhill skiers collapsed at the end of the course. On Sunday, the men’s event was paused due to high winds.

The African Union has condemned a recent “wave” of military coups that has seen an unprecedented number of member states suspended from the bloc, a senior official said Sunday, the last day of its annual summit.

The putsches were among the main issues expected to be discussed at the summit, along with the AU’s ties to Israel and its response to a grinding war in the north of host country Ethiopia.

Less than two weeks before the summit began Saturday, Burkina Faso became the fourth country to be suspended by the AU after disgruntled soldiers toppled President Roch Marc Christian Kabore.

Guinea, Mali and Sudan are also currently suspended.

“Every African leader in the assembly has condemned unequivocally… the wave of unconstitutional changes of government,” Bankole Adeoye, head of the AU’s Peace and Security Council, told a press conference Sunday.

“Do your research: At no time in the history of the African Union have we had four countries in one calendar year, in 12 months, been suspended,” Adeoye said.

US says ‘not sending forces to start a war’ with Russia

The United States said Sunday it was not sending troops to start a war with Russia after deploying 3 000 additional soldiers to Germany and Eastern Europe over the Ukraine standoff with Moscow.

President Joe Biden “has been clear for months now that the United States is not sending forces to start a war or fight a war with Russia in Ukraine,” national security advisor Jake Sullivan told Fox News Sunday.

“We have sent forces to Europe to defend NATO territory.”

Sullivan told Meet the Press on NBC that “a military escalation and invasion of Ukraine could happen at any time.

“We believe that the Russians have put in place the capabilities to mount a significant military operation into Ukraine, and we have been working hard to prepare a response,” he said.

Germany Looks to Send Troops to Lithuania

Germany may send more troops to Lithuania, Scholz signals

BERLIN: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz signalled on Sunday (Feb 6) he was open to deploying more troops to Lithuania to bolster NATO’s eastern flank in response to a build-up of Russian troops near the borders of Ukraine.

The United States already ordered about 3,000 extra troops to bolster NATO in Poland and Romania in response to the fears of a Russian invasion of the former Soviet republic.

“We are ready to do all that is necessary to strengthen” the German-led battlegroup in Lithuania, Scholz said in an interview with ARD broadcaster shortly before his overnight flight to Washington to meet with US President Joe Biden.

The chancellor said he would discuss this with the heads of the three Baltic states who are set to visit him in Berlin next Thursday.

He nonetheless once more ruled out weapons deliveries to Ukraine due to Germany’s policy not to send arms to conflict zones – a stance rooted in the country’s bloody 20th century history that has come under scrutiny of late.

NATO deployed four multinational combat units which have some 5,000 troops in total to Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia in response to Moscow’s annexation of the Crimea region from Ukraine in 2014.
