The Walls Are Closing In On Trump and Our Union

The walls are closing in on Donald Trump, 45th President of these United States of America, but, what few of his persecutors or prosecutors (depending on your perspective) realize is that this also shows that the walls are closing in on the very existence of our Union as a single country. As every day brings new setbacks for Trump’s legal defense, and as once staunch allies cover themselves by sacrificing him to the altars of Democrats in high dudgeon, the very substance of our Union weakens.

THIS IS NOT A COMMENTARY on Trump, on his guilt or innocence, or anything like that. It is an analysis of the potential impacts to the strength of our Union which follow the possible scenarios that may unfold.

Let’s cover the diverse perspectives.

You may think Trump is guilty and should be punished like anyone else would be. You may think he is guilty but also think his opponents are also coloring outside the legal lines and wonder why the law isn’t being equally applied. You may think Trump may have veered close to the legal line and didn’t cross it, but his opponents are using it against him while covering up their own actual crimes. You may think Trump is innocent, and this is a witch hunt, a totally political persecution, lawfare. Beyond these perspectives, there are shades in between as well, filled with nuance.

The legal question is “guilty or not guilty.”

If you think Trump is guilty and knows it, then you are frustrated he hasn’t just admitted it and backed out of his bid for a second term for the good of the country. What appalls you about your fellow citizens and divides you from them is how so many could be conned into following an obviously bad person.

If you think Trump is innocent, or not guilty, you look at the Biden administration and the bureaucrats in DC and wonder why they don’t, for the good of the country, disengage and disavow the lawfare and play ball fairly. What appalls you about your fellow citizens is how so many could be OK with such an obvious abuse of power knowing they can’t win on an even playing field.

Perhaps the truth doesn’t easily fit those two perspectives and perhaps one might ask a deeper question of both sides: how seriously are they taking the repercussions of their actions in light of the threat to our political fabric? When we see something like around 40% of Republicans and Democrats saying that force should be used against the other side we are hearing the klaxon of chaos and ruin approaching but nobody seems to notice or, if they do, care.

Not to be a Cassandra or make a prediction of the inevitability of our disUnion, but one must take such dangers seriously even if the probability is, say, only 10%, although it is probably higher than 10% at the moment. There are too many racial, religious, ideological, and economic conflicts between disparate groups of Americans, and now the Arab-Jewish conflict is coming to our shores! To even review in detail would be impossible without writing a book. Any one of these, saving perhaps the Arab-Jewish war that affects relatively few Americans (though it is quite dramatic, painful, and impactful to them!), could become explosive, and that explosion could cause an unintentional chain reaction.

The fact is that around 30% of Americans seem to love Trump, and among them, he has superstar almost godlike status (not literally but figuratively), and he is in a sense a messianic persona who will “make America great again.” But 30% of the country see him almost as the old line churches used to preach about the antichrist, a truly apocalyptic figure whose very presence in the American political scene threatens to reverse 100 years of real social progress, which still has a long way to go to be equitable and just.

(Note, the left has a “new man” ideology based on believing human nature is plastic and amenable to change in the right environment while the right has a “natural man” ideology based on adapting the environment to the existing and mostly unalterable human nature as it exists. These two ideologies are incompatible within a single sociocultural and socioeconomic system but could coexist within a vastly more decentralized and pluralistic Union.)

Most of those who love Trump and view any threats to him as threats against themselves tend to be more classical liberal in the sense of fiscal conservative, free market, and socially more libertine albeit within some traditional limits. Most of those who despise Trump tend toward a sort of free market socialism, if we can say such a thing exists, and are rather socially progressive to the degree of seeing those who are socially conservative as illegitimate and their views as unethical, bordering on criminal. But not everyone in either the “love Trump” or “hate Trump” camp falls in either of these categories.

As for the 40% in the middle, this is not a case of being indecisive. Their views are diverse but often definite. Perhaps 80% of the voting public have made up their mind about Donald Trump, and it is likely their views will not change.

This brings us to the dynamite sitting around in a hot room that we call the multiple prosecutions/persecutions of Trump via courts one tends to either see as virtuous and good or corrupt and evil. The strains on the fabric of our political Union are immense as the fabric of our political Union includes trust, respect, tolerance, and consent. Increasingly, both sides see the other as untrustworthy, disrespectful toward fellow Americans, intolerant, and acting outside the consent of the People. In other words, some 60% of the voting public deem the other side as totally illegitimate, and when they win office, all respect for the office goes away if your side didn’t win it.

If we apply that 40% of Democrats and Republicans who think the other side should be resisted with violence, that’s around 24% of the voting public who are already primed ideationally for what amounts to civil war: political violence aimed at the opposition. There are 24 million Americans leaning more and more toward the fringe on their respective sides.

Given either a scenario where Trump is thrown in jail or he is not, the side whose desires were not met will feel a deep sense of rage and betrayal at the system and the more fringe and unstable elements (which both sides shelter among themselves in their desperate search for allies) may begin to engage in political violence. While it is true, the FBI is wholly in the camp of the left and taking extreme measures to “monitor” the right, because the FBI leadership think 30% of Americans are illegitimate because they support Trump, their attention is rather parochial for the Democratic Party than for the integrity of the Union. In other words, the FBI are positive toward elements of the left who may become radicalized to violence if Trump isn’t sufficiently punished in their eyes while the people on the right they are focused on are so many in number, resources are spread too thin to catch the actual fringe elements on the right who may engage in violence.

Basically, as to the leftist fringe, the FBI are blinded by affection, and as to the right’s fringe the FBI monitoring regimen against the right is way too broad and spread too thin to catch the actual fringe. The FBI are hounding pro life activists, parents disgruntled by what they deem grooming of their children, and any conservative remotely connected to January 6, 2021 activities or who was merely in the vicinity of DC on or around that day. In truth, one wonders how human traffickers and mega drug dealers are being dealt with as the FBI turns its monstrous gaze inward at innocent civilians whose ideologies the mostly rabidly loyalists Democratic Party activists in their ranks deem as illegitimate just for existing.

Put more bluntly: the partisan bias of the FBI effectively blinds it from the threats of leftist or rightist fringe elements who could engage in political violence such as we have not seen since the Civil War. This doesn’t mean we will see a civil war, but compared to every major upheaval since the Civil War, this could be the largest even if it doesn’t trip into a second full-fledged civil war.

Trump’s prosecutors or persecutors, depending on your perspective, should take much cognizance of the consequences of how they engage in their efforts. Even if Trump is guilty, if the prosecution looks like persecution because it is patently unfair, or if it looks like the law is too rigorously applied to Trump while others go scott-free, then the temporary satisfaction of bringing Trump down will be replaced quickly by the sheer terror or major political violence and upheaval, perhaps from BOTH right and left fringe elements.

But to not prosecute Trump at all just because it will make people irate, if indeed he is guilty, would be a miscarriage of the Rule of law, hence the need to be equally vigorous about unethical and possibly criminal activities on the other side, of which serious and credible accusations have arisen.

On the other hand is Trump himself, who some may even suggest should consider bowing out and endorsing someone for the good of the country, albeit others will argue if he does that then lawfare will constantly be used to target Republicans knowing they will just bow out when targeted. It is not always true that bowing out is precedent for others, especially if you know maybe you strayed close enough to the edge of the law to raise legitimate concerns, but likewise merely bowing out may not solve the problem if lawfare is simple a tactic now employed by the left against the right.

This means that, even if Trump knows or sincerely believes he is innocent, there is no surefire response he can make for the good of the country as either bowing out or slugging it out could have unknown consequences.

But for his prosecutors/persecutors, depending on your perspective, there is a clear need for caution: to engage in a fair and open process with absolute transparency, to remove all conflicts of interest, and to ensure that the law is applied equally with regards accusations against the other side, e.g. the Biden family dealings. What one cannot see is caution, indeed the rhetoric of his prosecutors has mimicked the hardest and most militant leftwing fringe elements in their rhetoric, not only against Trump but his supporters as well, as if they would truly know whether or not he is guilty.

The blatant partisanship and the fact that the leading prosecutors all have shown reckless abandonment of any pretense of this not being an operation helmed by the DNC itself all bode ill for our country EVEN IF in one or more of these cases he is guilty. HOW one pursues rule of law, including the optics and how one addresses the supporters of the accused, is as important as applying the law to everyone regardless of office or status.

How we got here is a discussion for after we figure out how to navigate past these treacherous waters to safe harbor, and then, when the conflicts and rages have passed, we can ask how to prevent such a situation from happening again. We must preserve our Union and either protecting Trump from what you see as persecution or justly prosecuting his alleged crimes are not nearly as important as maintaining our political fabric and healing our divisions.

Even in the worst-case scenario, we would not predict with certainty that civil war must result, but we do well to warn ourselves of the very real possibility, even if it is the less likely of outcomes. We could see the left totally win as the right lays down, and this some form of leftist Caesarism or the right win and the left lay down, and thus we would see a rightist Caesarism. Or we could see a period of unrest followed by something that cools things off and causes calmer heads on both sides to reach a tolerable peace, this being probably the greatest of possibilities, but still not pleasant.

Due caution and concern should be engaged in and frank, closed-door meetings between the different sides aimed at cooling the political temperature should be ongoing and immediate. The consequences to the world if America falls from within would make World War Two look like a skirmish. Thus, the preservation of our Union, in any form, is, with a 100-year view, more tolerable than even having our political faction totally win if such “victory” undermines the Union.

While for us at the Freedomist liberty or death is an essential element of our ideas and while we may tend to think a Republican win is the least hazardous, for now, to our rights and prosperity, the urgency of preserving our Union for future generations is equally pressing. The ability to carve out gaps for freedom even if the authoritarians on either side have some ascendance for a time is equally urgent to these other considerations and may be the only aspect of preserving our Union that we who do not hold power can do. This applies to all of us, whether we count ourselves to right, to the left, or somewhere in between.

More Evidence FBI Protects Biden Family from Justice

Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) sent a letter to the FBI Director accusing the agency of protecting the Biden family from criminal prosecution by falsely discrediting information gathered by their own agents exposing the criminal actions of the criminal, seditious Biden family.

Grassley accuses Wray’s agency of labelling information exposing criminal activity as being “foreign disinformation” even though it was their own agents that found the information. He also accuses them of delaying and stopping investigations whenever they got too close to exposing the family of sedition the Bidens now represent.

From the Grassley letter:

Since July 25, 2022, I have requested information from the Justice Department and FBI with respect to legally protected whistleblower disclosures that informed my office of political bias infecting the decision-making process in investigations related to the Biden family.

Since that date, the Justice Department and FBI have failed to provide responsive records. This letter is based on years of investigation, including the provision of information, records, and allegations from multiple Justice Department whistleblowers that indicate there is -and has been -an effort among certain Justice Department and FBI officials to improperly delay and stop full and complete investigative activity into the Biden family, including but not limited to FD-1023s referencing the Biden family.

This alleged political infection breaks faith with the American people, and it will ruin our governmental institutions should it continue. As just one initial example, I’ve been made aware that at one point in time the FBI maintained over 40 Confidential Human Sources that provided criminal information relating to Joe Biden, James Biden, and Hunter Biden. An essential question that must be answered is this: did the FBI investigate the information or shut it down? Indeed, if those sources were improperly shut down, it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for the FBI, as this letter will address.

By way of initial background, since August 2019, Senator Johnson and I have investigated the Biden family’s foreign financial dealings and business arrangements. On September 23, 2020, and November 18, 2020, we issued reports detailing our findings based in part on hundreds of Treasury Department Suspicious Activity Reports, transcribed interviews, and thousands of pages of Obama/Biden administration government records.

Our findings indicated potential criminal activity, to include money laundering, with respect to members of the Biden family and their business associates as well as strong financial connections to questionable foreign nationals and foreign government-linked corporate entities. Then, in March and April of 2022, we gave three speeches on the Senate Floor and made public bank records supporting the same findings and further connecting the Biden family business to businesses linked to the communist Chinese government.

After that, on October 26, 2022, Senator Johnson and I provided hundreds of pages of bank records to U.S. Attorney Weiss connecting the Biden family to Chinese-government linked entities.4 Since August 2019, the Justice Department and FBI have refused to answer our questions, cooperate with our investigation, and have made every effort to obstruct and frustrate legitimate and constitutional congressional oversight.

…Based on the information provided to my office over a period of years by multiple credible whistleblowers, there appears to be an effort within the Justice Department and FBI to shut down investigative activity relating to the Biden family. Such decisions point to significant political bias infecting the decision-making of not only the Attorney General and FBI Director, but also line agents and prosecutors.

Our Republic cannot survive such a political infection and you have an obligation to this country to clear the air. Accordingly, based on the aforementioned information, I’ve obtained the names of 25 DOJ and FBI personnel to interview at a future date, some of whom are named above, who either had a direct or indirect role in the allegations described above.

So far, the FBI has yet to respond to Grassley’s letter, and one doubts they ever will so long as they are protected by the Mass Mailer President Joe Biden Committee, also known as Joe Biden, who have a decided interest in continuing to protect the family that has become the poster children for DNC-CCP sedition. They are happy to see our Republic die, replaced with the Woketarian death cult the Democratic Party openly embraces, along with the corporate “allies” that legitimize the types of anti-American, republic-killing, thinking such an ideology of hate, fear, and fake hope produces.

Maine Mass Shooting Leaves 22 Dead, Scores Injured

A mentally unstable man named Robert Card is alleged to have shot scores of people in 3 different locations in the state of Maine, leading to the deaths of 22 individuals. The motivation for the shooting remains unclear, but Card has been treated for severe mental illness, hearing voices and threatening at one point to shoot up the National guard. He has been trained as a firearms instructor at the U.S. Army reserve training facility in Maine.

Card used an AR-15 in the shooting, which is sure to “strengthen” the argument by the seditionist left to ban “assault weapons” because Americans who did not sin, who did not kill, must pay the price for the one who did.

The far-left radicals now controlling most of our major institutions, including our media, who engage in psychological terrorism on a daily basis, are creating these killers, and this writer believes that is by design, to create chaos, disorder, terror, to frighten people to surrender their God-given rights with the false hope that these same people, the ones who created the terror in the first place through their psychological terrorism, which is done through their “news” coverage, their “entertainment,” and through our government schools (the biggest creators of mass shooters in America today), will protect us from this chaos.

This is a tragedy in America that so many are led by fear to believe the ones who created killers like Robert Card should be the only ones to have guns. If you look at how fast Woketarianism has destroyed civil liberties in Australia, Canada, and the UK, you will understand why these anti-American seditionists want the American public disarmed. If were disarmed like those three countries, we would see even worse daily, open, blatant violations of our God-give right to life, liberty, and happiness (as defined by the individual, not the state).

So long as Americans continue to be armed, the far left cannot fulfil its fantasy of building a large prison for the most of us, run the elite few who bankroll the psychopaths that continue to shoot up our schools and burn down our businesses during “mostly peaceful protests.”

Spain Inches Towards Forming Self-Destruct Leftist Government

The Spanish Election this year produced uncertainty as the party that won the most votes, the conservatives, have little to no chance to form a majority government while the ruling Socialist party just needs to appease to Catalan separatists to seal the deal. The Socialists have formed a coalition with the leftwing alliance in an effort to encourage the Catalan separatists to join. What remains to be seen is if they can get that support without granting amnesty to the Catalan separatists in jail and in exile.

Pedro Sanchez, the incumbent and acting Prime Minister, formed an alliance with the leftwing Sumar alliance, and has announced plans to form a government that will concentrate on worker reform and equality. In his speech celebrating the new alliance, he made no mention of the amnesty demands of the Catalan faction. The two parties do not have enough seats to form a government. They need the Catalan faction in order to gain the majority required to form that new government.

The leftists, both the Socialists represented by Sanchez, and the Sumar alliance, seem hellbent on driving their economy further into the ground, promising to lean hard into the man-made climate change hoax, to reduce the workweek, force higher wages, and “focus on equality.” All of these things sound good to a child with a child’s understanding of the world, but to an adult, we understand that forcing wage prices, that sacrificing the poor for the planet, that forcing “equality” on people will only lead to unintentional, dire consequences the left seems too immature to ever understand.

Yolanda Díaz, the head of the far-left coalition now partnering with the socialists, said this of the deal, “It’s an agreement for the people and a commitment to our country. We’re going to gain time for living, that’s what politics is for. This legislature will become a legislature that’s about having time to live, to look after ourselves and to be happy. We’ll reduce the working week without reducing wages.”

The Spanish people voted for the further undoing of their state by delusional fantasy dreamers who don’t believe money costs anything or that actions, in general, controlled from a central authority, won’t become inherently corrupt as power corrupts and absolute power (the kind of power leftist systems ALWAYS creates) corrupts absolutely.

Perhaps the Catalan separatists should consider taking the deal, even without the amnesty, even without being granted more powers of self-rule, as this leftist government forming is sure to destroy Madrid’s power to govern over the land at all, leaving more than just Catalans with the option to self-rule in the very near future.

Rainbow Fascists and Islamo-Fascists Clash on the Streets of London

It seems the child-murder, groomer, rapist gang, the rainbow fascists, might not be so welcome by the other death cult these reprobate minds embrace, the Islamo-fascists, who they cheer on every time they “rally” in support of Hamas.

A march supporting the child-murdering, raping death cult of Hamas in London has revealed the rift between the rainbow fascists and the Islamo-fascists marching “side by side.” Rainbow flags flying in support of Hamas are not something Hamas and its debased supporters endorse, as was evidenced by the taking down of the flags and the flag bearers by Muslims dressed in black during the march.

The march happened October 21, 2023, on the streets of London. It revealed the murderous nature of everyone involved, the rainbow fascists pushing a lifestyle that, if society prefers it (as they want seem to want to force society to do so) will lead to the death of humanity, and the Islamists, who embrace a religion that calls on its devotees to murder the unbeliever, especially the Jew, to bring the end of the world and the ushering in of their version of paradise (where 72 virgins are forced to have sex with one devotee who murdered his way to sexual paradise).

The clip, filmed in Trafalgar Square where the “March For Palestine” ended, initially shows a Progressive Pride Flag being waved.

As people surrounded the flag bearer, it isn’t clear whether the person waving it was attacked or if someone grabbed the symbol of inclusivity to tear it down.

Then, two men dressed in black and with their face covered can be seen running away from Nelson’s column.

Shortly before the video ends, a skirmish breaks out between the men and another protester, who appears to be holding a sign.”

The New Pulse of the Neo-Con Forever War

What follows is an “estimate of the situation”, concerning what may well become known as the “Guns of October”. This is a strategic assessment of the current situation in the Levant, and what the deeper plan[s] may be. Nothing in this article is based on “classified information” or “anonymous sources”, but sober estimates based on training, experience, intuition and “informed speculation”.

Around the world, October 7th stunned many people. Even after over twenty years of continuous warfare, the scenes of slaughter coming out of Israel were stunning, both in their daring, but even moreso for their brutality and savagery. Inevitably, perhaps, some people have began to promote an idea that the Israeli High Command was operating in full knowledge of what Hamas was going to do, because there was “no way” that the vaunted Israeli intelligence agencies could have missed Hamas’ preparations.

The fact is, people are always people, and people make mistakes – often, those mistakes boggle the imagination with their stupidity. There is no real evidence of anything like an intentional conspiracy on the part of the Israeli High Command’s part happening.

In this case, however, there are parties throughout the world, who have been desperate for a crisis like Yom Kippur 2.0 to restore their flagging efforts. This group has been pushing an endless series of wars since the 1990’s, and while their influence is, indeed great, they are masters of the notion espoused by one-time White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel’s quip, “… you never want a serious crisis to go to waste…”

The people in power, or hanging on to the tailings of power, who espouse such ideas, are known as “neo-cons”…But – what is a “neo-con”?

Foreign Policy Magazine accurately describes neo-cons as “liberal imperialists on steroids”. They are firm believers in the notion of a highly totalitarian vision of the so-called “Pax Americana”, a series of policies that have produced a national debt in excess of an eye-watering $33 trillion, as of 10/18/2023. These beliefs – and the people behind them – also led to the roiling disasters in Israel, Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and most of the rest of the Middle East.

Another key descriptor of the neo-cons is that they have no political party, beyond that which is most expedient for them at the moment. Zbigniew Brzezinski (1928 – 2017), one-time National Security Advisor to Democrat party President Jimmy Carter, laid out the neo-con strategy and thought in his 1997 book, “The Grand Chessboard”. His criticisms of Republican President George W. Bush’s handling of the post-9/11 wars were not one of actual opposition, but complaining about their mis-handling.

Neo-Con thinking is also at the core of the Russo-Ukrainian War that began in February of 2022. No matter what side of that conflict the Reader may fall on, the fact is that – like Japan attacking Pearl Harbor in 1941 – the West, led by the United States, goaded Russia into its attempt to dismember the Ukrainian state. Why? Because the neo-cons desperately wanted to initiate Cold War 2.0, because Islamic jihadi’s were simply not working as an existential threat to Western society that justified obscenely massive military spending; terrorists are annoying, but they will never seriously threaten the Western social order.

Russia and China, on the other hand…

In early-to-mid 2022, there was a point where the world held its breath, as it seemed that the major powers of the world might actually enter into direct, large-scale combat with each other, something that has not been seen since 1945. While that danger still looms, the important takeaway, is that these situations have sparked increasingly strident calls to revamp western military establishments, to something resembling “the old days”.

But – how does this relate to the “Guns of October”?

In the aftermath of the seeming failure of neo-con ambitions as the “Global War On Terror” sputtered out in the mid-20-teens, despite the flare-up provided by the so-called “Arab Spring”, the neo-con movement became increasingly desperate for something to revive their plans to continue their series of planned wars, the exhaustion and disgust of the people’s of the West – and Russia – over the never-ending series of wars at the dawn of what should have been a “golden century” for humanity.

The clearest example of the desperation of the neo-cons, including their abject hatred of US President Donald Trump, came when Trump rejected their plans to strike three targets in Iran in response to the 2019 downing of an unmanned US drone. Trump canceled the retaliatory attacks when he was informed that the attacks were expected to kill at least 150 Iranians; Trump did not feel that level of retaliation to be a “proportionate” response to shooting down an unmanned drone.

But now, with a reimposition of sanctions against Russia in April of 2021, leading to a near-war with that state, the neo-cons within Washington DC and allies in several European governments have been awaiting a crisis of an appropriate scale to move the world back into the realm of “forever wars”.

Enter October 7th, of 2023.

With increasing calls in the West to end the open and naked barbarity of Hamas – barbarity that organization happily live-streamed, until it realized how bad the optics were – coupled to the deranged bleatings of the Communist mullahs in control of Iran – handed the neo-cons the golden crisis they have desperately needed to galvanize Western governments into continuing the wars: the United States – even under an “anti-Israel” establishment – cannot oppose Israel in assaulting Gaza, nor in hammering the Iranian-back Hezbollah organization in southern Lebanon, especially in the face of Hamas’ barbarity, without suffering catastrophic political consequences. Similarly, the Western European “street” is fed up with their government’s policies of accommodation and appeasement of “refugees” who spare no expense to tell the world how much they hate their “hosts”, who spared little expense to give them shelter and sanctuary.

Caught in the middle, are the Muslim governments of the region, none of whom want anything to do with this war, but who have enough internal problems that they cannot be seen by their populations to be completely abandoning the Palestinians. But, with more and more US Navy warships being deployed to the region at speed, the possibility of an “incident” occurring that “required” a military response against Iran – one that would make the Iraq war look like a training exercise – is an increasingly likely possibility.

Why is this important? Put simply, the United States does not have the manpower to fight the wars the neo-cons want the West to fight. As has been pointed out previously at the Freedomist, two decades of no-victory wars – as well as policies to insult and demean the US military’s primary recruiting pool – have turned a generation of potential recruits firmly against military service…so much so, that there has been a quietly increasing spate of military officers “speaking truth to power”, pointing out that the current world strategic will eventually force the United States to return to conscription, the dreaded “D-word”, that has been anathema to both the political and military spheres alike, for fifty years, since peacetime conscription was ended in the US by President Richard M. Nixon in 1973.

The neo-cons have painted themselves into a corner: They have relentlessly pursued aggressive policies that have burned off most of any good will built up by the United States over the past four decades, in pursuit of a strategy of continual conflict that requires a level of military recruitment that is a pale memory. At the same time, their actions have severely damaged the US economy, because markets not under a regimen of centralized planning respond poorly to toxic cycles of borrowing money, then borrowing more money to simply pay the interest, all while expanding the pool of currency by running the printing presses at high speed.

Likewise, the manufacture of basic war materials has been so neglected the West is finding it difficult to supply a single large war, much less multiple wars.

With much of the potential military recruit-base firmly rejecting staggering enlistment bonuses of over $50,000, there will come a point where the United States will be forced to attempt to revive the Draft for 18-to-30 year-olds…and there has been legislation language already draft, that was repeatedly submitted for some thirteen years.

Human-Trained AI Emotion-Driven Marketers Are Coming Your Way. Is Your Mind at Risk?

Actors not in the top tier of acting are finding life difficult economically as the SAF-AFTRA strike continues into its 5th month. Some have found work with Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, “training” AI through acting. While the actors have signed contracts that state their likenesses cannot be used for future endeavors, the language is written in such a way that perhaps, maybe, Meta has plenty of legal loopholes to betray that simple promise.

The actors were paid to participate in a study called the “emotion study,” which ran from Jul through September of this year. The study offered actors $150 per hour to “emote” for AI machines to analyze in the hope that AI can then be used to artificially “emote” in seamless ways to humans.

The irony of the work is not lost on the actors, who recognize they’re helping to train machines that might one day replace them, even if Meta “promises” not to use their image in any commercial way in the future.

Even though the actors are “acting,” the project claims it’s not “struck work” because Meta is not one of the employers the guild is striking against. As Duncan Crabtree-Ireland, SAG-AFTRA’s chief negotiator claims, “This isn’t a contract battle between a union and a company, It’s existential.”

Max Kalehoff, the VP of growth and marketing for the company running the study for Meta, said “The vast majority of our work is in evaluating the effectiveness of advertising for clients—which has nothing to do with actors and the entertainment industry except to gauge audience reaction.”

In addition to the job posting, MIT Technology Review has obtained and reviewed a copy of the data license agreement, and its potential implications are indeed vast. To put it bluntly: whether the actors who participated knew it or not, for as little as $300, they appear to have authorized Realeyes, Meta, and other parties of the two companies’ choosing to access and use not just their faces but also their expressions, and anything derived from them, almost however and whenever they want—as long as they do not reproduce any individual likenesses.

Some actors, like Jessica, who asked to be identified by just her first name, felt there was something “exploitative” about the project—both in the financial incentives for out-of-work actors and in the fight over AI and the use of an actor’s image.

Jessica, a New York–based background actor, says she has seen a growing number of listings for AI jobs over the past few years. “There aren’t really clear rules right now,” she says, “so I don’t know. Maybe … their intention [is] to get these images before the union signs a contract and sets them.”

While this writer does not support government laws prohibiting the use of Ai trained by humans to better manipulate humans to buy stuff they might not actually want or need, companies that choose to use this technology should be considered unethical, untrustworthy, not worth investing in or doing business with. Of course, being a realist, this writer realizes the ability to cut ourselves off from the companies that are already using these types of services is not very realistic, and won’t be until we self-steward minded people build our own institutions, institutions that would not deign to use such unethical practices to manipulate the masses for the sake of profit.

Political factions are sure to follow, if they aren’t already, which makes it all the more urgent for you, and me, to be self-stewarded people who steward our preferences and beliefs to guard our minds against such crafty manipulations.

Hamas Fans Lay Siege to U.S. Capitol; No Criminal Charges Filed

Meet the real insurrectionists:

While the Progmericans (which are no Americans at all) continue to ree-ree over the January 6 protests of an illegal Mass Mailer election that they claim was LITERALLY worse than 9/11, they cheer the storming of the U.S. capitol by “Americans” protesting resistance to the genocidal death cult known as Hamas. The “protestors,” (actual insurrectionists) illegally stormed the Capitol Rotunda and ripped down a pro-Israel sign in front of Representative Randy Weber’s (R-TX) office.

The violent anti-American, anti-God, pro-Jewish-genocide insurrectionists were led by the Orwellian-named group “Jewish Voice for peace,” a self-hating Jewish organization that is aligned with Hamas’ goals of wiping the Jews off the face of “Palestine” to “liberate Palestinians.”

While the Capitol Police have arrested the protestors, no charges have yet to be charged against them, and one doubts there ever will be.

As the demonstration was broken up, authorities announced that “Due to First Amendment activities on Capitol Grounds, all pedestrian entry points to the House Office Buildings [were] restricted to Members and Staff ONLY.”

Outside the House office buildings, a speaker in another group of “ceasefire now” demonstrators lamented the fact that “some people are afraid of our movement” which, again, is advocating for Hamas terrorist interests by calling for a ceasefire to restrict Israel’s ability to take out the Iran-backed terrorists who continue to launch rockets at Israeli civilians.

Australians Dodge Race-Based Fascism by Rejecting “Voice to Parliament”

A racist referendum failed to win over the Australian people, although nearly 40 percent (overwhelmingly white, upper-middle class, and urban, the same classes that dominate fascist leftism in America and the UK) voted for it. The referendum would create a de facto tribunal of indigenous Australians who, by their race alone, would be qualified to check any law, any regulation the Australian legislature and administration might create or modify.

When the idea was first proposed, of creating a race-based tribunal to have more de facto power to check government than even our Supreme Court does (and not having to even rely on Rule of Law to do so), 60 to 70 percent of Australians supported it. They must not have fully understood the ramifications of the racist referendum, however, for as the campaign wore on and they realized this wasn’t just an “advisory body” but one that would result in real de facto law-changing powers, the mood changed and the leftist fascists lost their opportunity to condition a people to accept their brand of totalitarian authoritarianism based on racial hierarchies (race fascism).

The language itself smacks of race supremacism, referring to the “Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples” as being the First Peoples of Australia. The First Peoples in the subconscious mind becomes the best people, and the crafters of this language know full well the hate they are spreading, the divisions they hope to create between the Aboriginals and everyone else.

The crafters of the Yes position tried to avoid the obvious fact that this was, on its face, an explicitly racist law, but that didn’t fly with the Australian people, who are now being accused of being racist for rejecting a racist law.

Aware that this was No’s strongest argument, Yes tried to rebut it by pointing out that there is only one human race, which means distinctions based on race can’t exist. The distinction, Yes claimed, is one only of ancestry, and refers to “inherent rights Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples hold as the original inhabitants of the Australian continent.”

Lawyers call this sort of argument “trivially true”. Biological race does not exist among humans. We are not genetically distinct enough. Chimpanzees possess biological race (biologists use the term “sub-species”). Humans don’t. However, Aboriginal ancestry in even tiny amounts stands out in a 23andMe test. The Yes claim that the Voice wasn’t conferring rights based on race thus looked like prestidigitation. Descent from the First Peoples of Australia (a real thing) was being used to draw distinctions between groups in the same way that nineteenth century racists drew distinctions based on race (not a real thing).

It also led to a situation where people who voted against a proposed law intended to distinguish between groups of Australians based on ancestry and cultural practice were accused of racism. I’m afraid those who support race-based policies designed to ameliorate “structural disadvantage” or “inequity” – of which the Voice is one – need to understand that to most people, they just look like more racism.

When leftists “defend” their perverse positions based on fear, hate, and fake hope, to the non-indoctrinated, their “best” arguments simply expose their true depravity even more, as has happened here, and hopefully will happen elsewhere in the world, including here in America where perversion is glorified and righteousness is outlawed.
