Now, those violent assaults on college campuses are becoming more violent in action and rhetoric.

Student Terrorist Activists at George Washington University have started to call for leaders to be hung on a gallows while a Pro-Hamas terror mob in NYC was caught on camera attacking a man for committing the crime of being alive while Jewish. The violent terrorists are being groomed by college faculty, with a recent poll showing over 1/3 of students who go through these anti-American classes support physical violence as a response to speech you don’t like.

Video that emerged over the weekend from the pro-Palestinian occupation encampment at George Washington University shows some students gleefully cheering for their campus leaders to be executed on guillotines.

The footage was captured by a citizen journalist named “Stu” who recorded the group’s so-called “People’s Tribunal” livestreamed on Instagram.

“At the George Washington University Gaza Solidarity Encampment today, the protesters held a ‘People’s Tribunal’ where they put President Ellen Granberg, Provost Christopher Bracey, the Board of Trustees, @GWPolice, and many others on trial,” Stu posted on X on May 3.

“Is it normal for students to want to hang their provost and chop the heads off of the Board of Trustees,” Stu asked. “When will [George Washington University leaders] finally do something? If the students hurt any of these people in any way, the university will be completely at fault.”

A disturbing video of a pro-Hamas mob assaulting a Jewish man near the Met Gala in New York City Monday evening shows you exactly who many of these “mostly peaceful” pro-Hamas protesters across the nation truly are: violent, hate-filled extremists. At first, the man, who was wearing a Star of David head scarf, or sudra, and the mob of anti-Israel demonstrators yelled back and forth at each other, but then somebody ripped off his head scarf.

But that wasn’t enough. Then they started pummeling him. This would be the top story in the country if this had happened to any other minority, but because the man is pro-Israel, the mainstream media is mostly avoiding the beatdown.

“Get the f*** outta here!” one guy can be heard yelling as the fracas heated up. The Jewish man was eventually able to escape and run away, but not before suffering a few serious blows as the mob of around a dozen people surrounded him and tried to prevent his getaway. The footage was taken by a witness who took the video to the local NYPD precinct, but it’s not clear if anyone has been charged for the assault.

Survey comes after federal judge shouted down on campus

More than one third of Stanford University students say using physical violence to stop a speech is acceptable in at least some circumstances, according to a new report.

The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression conducted the survey after federal Judge Kyle Duncan’s speech on campus was shouted down last year. The report evaluated students’ perspectives about free speech on campus and protests in the aftermath of the event.

FIRE Chief Research Advisor Sean Stevens told The College Fix the research found “considerably higher” support for canceling a speaker among Stanford students when compared to their peers nationwide.

The survey found 54 percent of Stanford students believed Duncan’s speech to the law school’s Federalist Society chapter should have been canceled by the administration. Additionally, 75 percent said shouting down a speaker to prevent them from speaking was acceptable in some circumstances.

Students at Princeton University announced that they are going on a “hunger strike for Palestine.” Reading from her phone while standing in front of a tree on which the protest sign was hung, one of the keffiyeh-clad overall-wearing students asked others to join her. The students’ demands, however, have far less to do with the war in Israel, which is the excuse for their protest, and far more to do with their own protest.

“I’m inviting any people of conscience in the Princeton community, students, faculty, alumni, to participate with the striking students in a solidarity fast. In just the last few hours, we’ve had commitments from at least six people from Princeton Theological Seminary to participate in this solidarity fast, with more coming in by the hour,” she said.

“At the Seminary,” she said, reading a statement from her phone, “we’ve also been calling our school to disclose and divest for the last several years and want to join together with the students from the University in their hunger strike. Almost every faith tradition in the world engages in the spiritual practice of fasting. The three major Abrahamic religions, Judaism, Islam and Christianity, are no exception to this.”

“Jesus himself said,” she continued, giving a version of Matthew 17:21, “‘of some evils in the world, they require both prayer and fasting,’ and we are here to live into that word.”

Only a few days before, a group of Princeton students stood before the same sign and tree, also draped in keffiyehs, which have become the fashion statement of the Gaza camp protesters. There were two women among the group of seven students, one of whom wore traditional Islamic dress and the other who wore a facemask. Each student ran a portion of their prepared statement from their phones.

The New York judge presiding over Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s prosecution of former President Donald Trump has strictly limited the information a key witness for the Republican’s defense can testify about in court.

Bragg claims Trump violated the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) when his former attorney Michael Cohen paid pornographic film actress Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about an alleged affair. According to Bragg, because the cash changed hands ahead of the 2016 election, it should have been publicly reported as a campaign expenditure.

Judge Juan Merchan, a financial supporter of Trump’s campaign opponent with a “rabid pro-Democrat bias,” has gone along with this plan by entertaining Bragg’s weak case and gagging Trump. Merchan further hindered Trump’s legal efforts by declaring former FEC Chairman Bradley Smith is only allowed to testify about limited aspects of his job.

Smith professionally enforced campaign finance laws including the one Bragg has chosen to target Trump over. He has long asserted that “almost anything a candidate does can be interpreted as intended to “influence an election” but “not every expense that might benefit a candidate is an obligation that exists solely because the person is a candidate.”

The New York Police Dept. has reported finding some disturbing and dangerous things in the possession of the Nazi Hamas supporters infesting the campus at Columbia University.

It is clear these protesters arrived on the campus of the college prepared for terrorism.

Michael Kemper, a NYPD’s chief of transit, posted photos Friday of what police confiscated from the protesters.

“For those romanticizing the protests occurring on college campuses, ‘Death to America!’ is one sentiment that runs counter to what we believe in, what we stand for, and what many have fought for on behalf of this country,” Kemper stated on X. “And if you think the words written on this piece of paper are disturbing … you should hear the vile, disgusting, hateful, & threatening words coming out of the mouths of far too many of these so called ‘peaceful protestors.’”

Kemper posted a video of a pamphlet that stated, “Death to Israeli Real Estate” and “Death to America!” The pamphlet also stated, “DISRUPT/RECLAIM/DESTROY Zionist business interests everywhere!”

NYPD Deputy Commissioner Kaz Daughtry posted on X photos of items he said the police confiscated from protesters who took over Hamilton Hall at Columbia University. The photo showed gas masks, ear plugs, helmets, goggles, tape, hammers, knives, ropes, and a book on terrorism. The book is by Charles Townshend, Professor of International History at Keele University in England. It was published in 2011 and is 161 pages.

Buildings at Columbia, Cal Poly Humboldt and Pomona have also been taken over recently by anti-Israel activists

Pro-Palestinian Rhode Island School of Design students seized their administration building on Monday night and barricaded themselves in.

Campus leaders gave them a Tuesday morning deadline to disperse but the activists remain inside.

A video posted on X shows students shimmy food up with a rope ladder to feed the activist students, who demand the art school cut all financial ties with Israel and condemn the country publicly for alleged “genocide.” They’ve reportedly taken over the second story of the building, which houses the president’s office and other financial offices.

“A livestream by the organizers showed protesters gathered in a corridor on the second floor of the building, chanting ‘Free, free Palestine,’ as security guards inside a room appeared to prevent them from entering it. Videos showed other protesters gathered outside the building,” the New York Times reported.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams revealed that the possibility of former President Donald Trump being jailed in the state is being discussed between the mayor’s office and the New York City Department of Correction.

Adams said in a Tuesday press conference that the Department of Correction and Rikers Island would “be ready” in case Trump is jailed for violating Judge Juan Merchan’s gag order in his New York hush money trial.

The department’s commissioner “is prepared for whatever comes on Rikers Island, and I’m pretty sure she would be prepared to manage and deal with the situation,” Adams said.

“We have to adjust,” he said. “In this business, particularly around law enforcement, we have to adjust whatever comes our way, but we don’t want to deal with a hypothetical. But they’re professionals. They’ll be ready.”

The Democratic mayor referenced Harvey Weinstein’s recent transfer to the medical ward at Rikers Island to demonstrate the ability of the Department of Correction to adjust to high-profile cases.

Love Should Drive Us, NOT The Fear and Greed Pushed By Politicians

LET US NOT LEARN THE WAYS OF POLITICIANS BEING MOTIVATED BY GREED AND FEAR BUT RATHER LET US BE MOTIVATED BY LOVE

We can be motivated by love, truth, and a form of righteousness that isn’t all judgy and rude but humane and enlightened, warm and kind.

Some are motivated by greed, they want more than is their due and what they have earned, and they pay never a mind to who actually pays the bill. This can come both on the form of money as well as things like environmental impact and social impacts which won’t affect you but will affect others.

Some are driven along their decision-making path by hobgoblins and boogeyman, caricatures and stereotypes of anyone different from themselves, from whom they need protection, and which protection they are willing to pay for with the rights and wealth of others being laid upon the altar of their gods of fear and panic.

You can be sure that, regardless of their Party or staged ideology, almost every politician appeals to the latter two and almost none would appeal to the first group and their motivations. We can, however, have eyes wide open and just assume whatever any politician says comes from greed or fear, and if we scratch a little beneath the surface we’ll see the true color very easily. So scratch below the surface and ask yourself how much the first group is appealed to, then you will learn to view most every politician, even the one you support, with suspicion and contempt, because most are not to be trusted.

Politicians are too easy to pick apart, however. Most of them got there by being cagey, self-absorbed twits who fool most of the voters, or who manage to get the most votes counted in their name (you be the judge), by fooling enough people to pass the post.

What about me. What about you.

I have ascertained, sadly, that TOO MUCH of what I say is motivated too much by the latter thing, fear and the anger that comes with it. I’m not above being greedy, it’s just that I am far more conscious of it, so it’s not really a pet vice of mine. That doesn’t make me better than you as fear is also, in my estimation, a vice when it’s not rational or justified, and most of the time is isn’t.

I think both the greed and fear motivators are down to a heightened self-importance and conceit about what one deserves and is entitled to. As to fear, I’m no entitled to feeling safe from things and people I ought not fear, especially as a Christian who should rest in the Lord, come what may!

I am broken and I think maybe we all are. Ironically, I think, the more you engage in politics, and I literally make a living from politics (well, around 70% of what I do), the more you get the infection.

The thing about greed, and I remind you I’m specifically talking about wanting something you didn’t earn, aren’t owed, and should not expect at other people’s expense, is that those who promise to slake your thirst are always lying. No sane person believes that taking that which others are rightly due and giving it to others whose do not deserve it is sustainable. It doesn’t matter if it’s business owners being told they will get what their workers are due or non-working people will get it from business owners (and therefore also workers), it’s always a lie and never sustainable.

As for fear, it is so easy to become afraid of the other side, of people who are different, of things that you don’t like or that you think are wrong, go against being on the right side of history, or are a sin. When someone promises to cure the fear by clamping down on what you fear, they always demand you surrender all or part of your own agency so they can save you from the things they probably taught you to fear in the first place!

Greed and fear are terrible motivators but ask yourself if you’ve ever been motivated to vote based on love? Imagine a politician saying their agenda is to pave the way through good public policies that benefit all of society and not just a preferred demographic or other special interest so that people can feel and walk freely in love, to be loved and to love others, without greed or fear stalking their conscience and unsettling their heart. It’s not gonna happen.

In the US it’s Biden or Trump. Do they motivate people by love for their fellow man and by being loved and being free to love and pursue their life in peace, or do they use appeals to greed and fear mostly to exclusively? In my opinion, they both use greed and fear, in spades, in extremes that are not common even in US politics. Indeed, we have to go back to the 1850’s and right before the Civil War to match the tone we have seen set today.

I followed the Nigerian elections closely and the side I thought would be best for the country lost to a genius vote counter who plied the people with an appeal to greed and made promises the federal government could never keep without bankrupting the part of the constituency they do not cater to for votes, especially the Igbo and Christians! But what politician appealed to love for Nigeria, to each other, and for yourself to be able to experience love through a life of freedom and abundance? Not one, in my opinion!

In Germany not one Party appeals to love and as the AFD grows so grows the call to censure them and invalidate them through boogeyman fears about “Mustache Man 2.0”, because the lame establishment UNIPARTY of corpostate shills has only ever played the people based on different measures of greed and fear, depending on if it’s the SD or CD, Greens, of FDP. As an aside, the FDP is to me the most purposeless party in human history and is hardly anything to get rowdy about. The AFP is more about fear and their dalliance with Russia is alarming, albeit not because their alternative views on German foreign policy should be labeled treasonous as they have. None appeal to love.

Even India’s Mohdi, who maintains a solid lock on Indian politics, is most certainly not driven by love, despite his religious posturing as if he is himself a Hindu Monk (if their is such a thing)! His policies are greed and fear like all the rest and his opponents, who keep losing to him over and over again, offer nothing different in substance but only in form.

Wherever you are in this world the politicians are an extreme caricature themselves of the most negative currents in society and they become part of a self-feeding loop that perpetuates more and more extremes until finally it eats itself and society collapses. See Haiti of recent history and the French Third Republic of the 1930s which lost to the Germans despite having better and more of the right equipment to fight a war!

As I recall no examples of a political movement or leaders who appeal almost exclusively to love, slightly to legitimate fear, and not at all to greed, I am not certain politics will ever be more than slowing the speed of collapse so private people can prepare and get themselves hidden from the deluge to come. If anyone knows of an example where this isn’t true, enlighten me, but if you are an American and say Trump or Biden, let me stop you right now and just say, “no!”

Going back to where I speak of appealing slightly to legitimate fear, the Bible itself in Proverbs 22 explains how when the wise see danger coming they hide themselves and when the foolish see danger coming they keep on moving along until eventually they get wacked, or punished. Of course if China is building out a strong offensive military force we would be idiots to ignore that and let our own military decline to the point we can’t beat the CCP, as an example.

Neither fear nor greed, understanding that wanting what you deserve, are owed, and have earned and having your own self-interest are not greed but wanting what isn’t by right yours to demand IS greed, are terrible motivators for life. We should start to eschew the ways of our politicians and both become sensitive to their true nature and to our own propensity to be infected by their rhetoric to become like them.

The Danger of Transhumanism For Christians

TRANSHUMANISM IS SATANIC AND IT IS MEANT TO JUSTIFY THE GENOCIDE OF CHRISTIANS: but modern transgenderism has become the front porch to transhumanism!

Transhumanism is the notion humans can change their natures and everything about themselves at will, using technology, until what emerges is something new, intentional, and willful which has no obedience to God or nature but which sees itself as God.

What we call the trans movement focuses on gender and sex, but the result is asexuality (people who transition cannot enjoy sex) and sterilization coupled with a lifelong health crisis resulting in early death.

Men are not women, women are not men. Period. You are born one or the other, deal with it, and if you want to pretend otherwise then you are being a traitor to your true nature and betraying your true self. God defines your true self, not you.

But as dramatic as this sounds, this is just the gateway drug to transhumanism which ultimately foresees and plans the extinction of the human race in favor of AI systems which have had the knowledge of humanity transferred into themselves. The modern form of transgenderism is a gateway to transhumanism which is a Satanic plot followed by our leaders, many unwittingly, to exterminate humanity, but first the Christians must go.

It’s time to for people infected with this very bad idea to end the trans fraud, which is transhumanism, which is merely a device of totalitarianism. People who are trans are betraying themselves and their Creator and the consequences will be eternal separation from their Creator, which is a never-ending death that is too horrible to describe.

You don’t agree? Fine. Do what you want in your private life.

You demand I go along with your fiction? Not on your life. I serve God, not your altrainbow totalitarianism. You follow doctrines of devils and to hell with them you will go if you do not repent and turn around.

The whole bit about pronouns used to just be if someone wants to be called something then you call them that and it doesn’t mean you approve or have to approve. Now it is like the Hitler salute, it is used to identify dissenters and marl them for persecution: in more and more spaces if you fail to use pronouns you will lose your job which, while unconstitutional, our corrupt courts have yet to put a halt to.

It is for this reason we should stop using preferred pronouns because it’s like being offered meat that was first offered to idols. If we are offered meat that was offered to idols and know it we can still eat it, that’s not us endorsing the idol worship. But when the person giving us the meat makes a big show of how it was offered to idols, which becomes a litmus test to see where you stand, then for their sake we do not eat.

When people asked before to use a different pronoun the police thing is to use them knowing that doesn’t mean you endorse the ideas behind them. Now as this had become a litmus test for them, for the people making a demand to use their pronouns, then, for their sake and for conscience sake, we must refuse. The litmus test status of this demand must be pushed back against regardless of the consequences.

Also, those who would say that being canceled and losing their income would hurt their children, sadly this is not an excuse for being the knee to idols, or to doctrines of devils. If you bow and everyone else bows your children will most assuredly be worse off than if they starved, but if you obey God chances are good your children will be just fine, barring martyrdom, which Jesus Himself predicted we could face!

The consequences to Christians for defying the trans ideology pushed by government, every major corporation, and most every institution in this country can be absolutely horrible, we will be persecuted and killed over this Haman-like strategy from the devil to make us execrable to people who are themselves execrable to God.

Again, remember, it’s not about a man being able to claim he has become a woman because gender is a social construct and all that, it’s actually about transhumanism and this is just the introduction but also the means by which humanity can be sterilized. No, the end of the road for modern transgenderism is transhumanism.

The person who wants to change gender, because they think their true gender is different from their body parts and chromosomes, is not aware of this or consciously part of this. They are just trying to find their authentic selves and do not realize there are better paths or that they are betraying their authentic self by rebelling against Creation.

When we try and unmake God’s Creation, indeed when we try to make a god in our own perverted image as those abdominal heretical reprobate who call themselves progressive christians do, then we become execrable to God, we figuratively make ourselves no better than piles of rotten human feces. Don’t take that too far!

We cannot ourselves see a trans person as a pile of human feces, they are human beings and deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of the fact we think and know that they are not pleasing to God. We are not God! But when any of us defy God’s laws we need to realize that we make ourselves execrable to Heaven itself. Nonetheless we are on a rescue mission to reach and save the execrable because without Christ we are no better than anyone else!

While most of us would not want to ban trans people and we believe we must treat them with human dignity and respect their rights, because ultimately God alone will judge them even if we happen to know what that judgement will be, you can be sure as a Christian that the insatiable totalitarian reprobates who rule this land today will not tolerate your non-approval of their ideology and practices.

Trans is merely a Satanic ploy to murder Christians and exterminate Christianity from this earth. While this coming war against the People of God may cost many lives, and I fully expect them to want to kill me, they will never win and their fate, unless they repent, will be a thousand times a thousand million times worse than what they wished upon God’s People.

Transhumanism Satanic. It is evil. It is vile. Transgenderism is merely the front porch to transhumanism, and where transgenderism is strictly a private matter not imposed on society, as for instance Biden repealing Title IX and removing sex as a biological construct, it is not the pure evil to society that transhumanism is. But today’s version of being trans is impositional and totalitarian and cannot be separated from transhumanism.

Iran Attack Might Not be the Dud You Think It Is

If you read most media outlets, be they MSM or “independent,” you will mostly hear the attacks on Israel by Iran were a big dud, and that might not be the full story. Iran has done two successful things; they breached the highest level of air security Israel and the U.S. could offer and they cost Israel over $1 billion.

Israel’s main air defense nerve center, the Nevatim Air Base, was hit by 5 ballistic missiles, including two hits directly to the runway, and an airbase cloaked in secrecy (and connected to the U.S. directly), the Negev Air Base, was also struck. While none of the strikes did serious harm, they sent a message that the highest level of air defense can be breached.

“One Arrow missile used to intercept an Iranian ballistic missile costs $3.5 million, while the cost of one David Sling missile is $1 million, in addition to the sorties of aircraft that participated in intercepting the Iranian drones,” he said.

“I am only talking about interception to what the Iranians launched and not injuries that were marginal this time.”

Yehoshua Kalisky, a senior researcher at the Institute for National Security Studies think tank in Tel Aviv, told The Wall Street Journal that the costs “were enormous” and comparable to what Israel had spent during the 1973 Arab-Israeli war.

It is not known how much Iran spent on its attacks, though ballistic missiles in the country can cost up to $99,937 (₤80,000), The Guardian said.

Though President Joe Biden and the White House insist that there are no plans to send U.S. troops to Israel amid its war on Hamas, a secret U.S. military presence in Israel already exists. And the government contracts and budget documents show it is evidently growing.

The $35.8 million U.S. troop facility, not publicly announced or previously reported, was obliquely referenced in an August 2 contract announcement by the Pentagon. Though the Defense Department has taken pains to obscure the site’s true nature — describing it in other records merely as a “classified worldwide” project — budget documents reviewed by The Intercept reveal that it is part of Site 512. (The Pentagon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.)

Microsoft Hires AI-Hater to Work in AI Department

Mustafa Suleyman, an AI Pioneer who warned the world that AI will cause a human “catastrophe on an unimaginable scale,” has been selected by Microsoft to serve at a high level in its AI Department. Suleyman is the co-founder of DeepMind, a Google-owned research lab.

Microsoft hired renowned artificial intelligence pioneer Mustafa Suleyman – the co-founder of the Google-owned DeepMind research lab who has warned the emerging technology could a “catastrophe on an unimaginable scale.”

Suleyman, 39, will report directly to Microsoft boss Satya Nadella and will run the company’s consumer AI division, the company said. He will lead Microsoft’s efforts to build out its Copilot AI chatbot and to integrate AI features into the Bing search engine and Edge browser.

… The hiring was seen as a major coup for Microsoft as it looks to beat chief rival Google and others in the race to develop advanced AI. Microsoft is a chief investor in OpenAI, the firm best known for creating the ChatGPT chatbot and the Sora text-to-video generation tool.

However, Suleyman has repeatedly urged caution and the need for safe development of AI.

In his 2023 book “The Coming Wave,” Suleyman argued that AI, synthetic biology and other burgeoning technologies could allow “a diverse array of bad actors to unleash disruption, instability, and even catastrophe on an unimaginable scale.”

A report by the House Judiciary Committee and its Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government alleges Federal law enforcement officials from multiple departments, including the FBI, have been spying on Americans’ bank accounts without a warrant, in open violation of basic constitutional law.

Today, the House Judiciary Committee and its Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government released an interim staff report titled, “Financial Surveillance in the United States: How Federal Law Enforcement Commandeered Financial Institutions to Spy on Americans.” The report reveals alarming evidence of federal law enforcement engaging in broad financial surveillance and prying into the private transactions of American consumers. This surveillance, not predicated on specific evidence of criminal conduct, targeted terms and transactions related to core political and religious expressions protected by the Constitution.

… The report also details the existence of a web portal run by the Domestic Security Alliance Council (DSAC), a public-private partnership led by the FBI’s Office of Private Sector and the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis. This portal appears to have shared intelligence products with financial institutions that were used to identify individuals who fit the profile of criminal and “domestic violent extremists,” often because of their conservative political views or other constitutionally protected activity. Federal law enforcement used these reports and other materials they shared with financial institutions to commandeer their databases and conduct sweeping searches of individuals not suspected of committing any crimes, without a warrant, in order to identify individuals making certain “suspicious” transactions.

Bobulinski Bashes Biden, Dems in Contentious House Hearing

The Bidens’ former business partner, Tony Bobulinski, offered a scathing testimony at the U.S. House Oversight Committee, directly accusing Joe and his sone of committing crimes and calling out Democrats who continue to protect “the big guy.”

Bobulinski even accused high-ranking Democrat Ro Khanna (D-CA) of knowing as early as 2020 that Joe had committed crimes, stating, “I have extensive emails with congressman Ro Khanna in 2021 and 2022 where I begged him and his staff to sit down with me and look at my Blackberry phones that the Democrats are so focused on, to hire forensics experts and go through all of the factual information that I had.”

Former Hunter Biden business partner Tony Bobulinski revealed Wednesday that he reached out to a Democratic lawmaker in October 2020 about his allegations that then-presidential candidate Joe Biden was involved in his son and brother’s business ventures abroad.

Bobulinski told the House Oversight Committee he “was begging” Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) “to go on CNN and tell the world in October 2020” about the allegations — and apparently had a receptive audience, initially.

“You have always demonstrated to me that you are nothing but an honest, with the highest integrity, individual,” Khanna texted Bobulinski, the latter man told the House Republican-led impeachment inquiry in its second public hearing.

Washington State Strikes Down Bar Requirement to Hire More “Diverse” Lawyers

Washington State’s Supreme Court has ruled that the state bar exam is no longer a requirement for people seeking to practice law in their state. The reason given for the ruling is the exam “disproportionately and unnecessarily blocks” people in leftist preferred groups from becoming lawyers.

Washington State’s Supreme Court has declared that the bar exam is no longer a requirement for becoming a lawyer within the state, according to a pair of orders released on Friday.

This landmark ruling approves alternative methods for demonstrating competency and acquiring a law license, following a 2020 initiative where a task force was established to explore this matter.

The Bar Licensure Task Force discovered that the conventional exam “disproportionally and unnecessarily blocks” individuals from marginalized groups from entering the legal profession and deemed it “at best minimally effective” in ensuring competency, as per a news announcement from the Washington Administrative Office of the Courts.

Washington thus becomes the second state, after Oregon, to eliminate the bar exam requirement, with Oregon having made the change at the beginning of this year. Other states like Minnesota, Nevada, South Dakota, and Utah are also considering alternative licensure pathways.

“These recommendations come from a diverse body of lawyers in private and public practice, academics, and researchers who contributed immense insight, counterpoints and research to get us where we are today,” Washington Supreme Court Justice Raquel Montoya-Lewis, who chaired the task force, said.

Texas Can Arrest Illegals… SIKE!

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Texas can enforce its law that grants law officers the power to arrest illegal aliens since the Biden administration refuses to enforce national law. The vote was 6-3, with the 3 dissenting votes coming from the far-left Judges. But just hours after the ruling, a U.S. 5th Circuit panel seemed to somehow reverse the SCOTUS ruling 2-1 to lift the administrative state.

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Tuesday allowed Texas to enforce a contentious new law that gives local police the power to arrest migrants.

The conservative-majority court, with three liberal justices dissenting, rejected an emergency request made by the Biden administration, which said states have no authority to legislate on immigration, an issue the federal government has sole authority over.

That means the law can go into effect while litigation continues in lower courts.

The law in question, known as SB4, allows police to arrest migrants who illegally cross the border from Mexico and imposes criminal penalties. It would also empower state judges to order people to be deported to Mexico.

A Republican-backed Texas law that would allow state law enforcement authorities to arrest people suspected of illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border was blocked again by an appeals court on Wednesday, just hours after the U.S. Supreme Court had cleared the way for it to go into effect.

A late night ruling on Tuesday from the New Orleans-based 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals halted the enforcement of the law ahead of oral arguments on the issue scheduled for Wednesday.

…The 5th Circuit panel, in a 2-1 vote, lifted the administrative stay ahead of arguments on whether to once again put on hold the lower-court injunction while Texas pursues an appeal.

The majority in the appeals court’s order included Chief U.S. Circuit Judge Priscilla Richman, an appointee of Republican former President George W. Bush, and U.S. Circuit Judge Irma Carrillo Ramirez, a Biden appointee. U.S. Circuit Judge Andrew Oldham, a conservative appointee of Republican former President Donald Trump, dissented.
