The Democrats Are Playing With Fire In Their Obvious Lawfare Campaign Against Republicans

The fact these offended and angry people may have a valid point is dismissed by those for whom a win for Democrats is somehow such a “win for democracy” that the ends justify the means.
It is not reasonable what is happening here. Where is the crime, beyond a tortured twisting of langauge and law to forcefully shoehorn a “crime” where there isn’t one? It is not a cut and dry case, as it ought to be in order to criminally prosecute one’s political opponents, a principle many even on the right, who loath Trump, have discarded out of expediency.
In the latest indictments by a rabidly partisan DA, in Georgia’s Fulton County where every Democrat vote is counted twice according to rumors, everything Trump et al did has been the standard Democratic Party response to almost every election they lost.
Here is another typical response from Trump supporters, “This corrupt DA RAN ON a ‘get Trump’ platform and took nearly 30 months to manufacture a list of indictments out of thin air, all based on the most obtuse and deranged readings of the RICO statutes in our history! She is truly an epic abuser of power, for whom history will justly have contempt.”
Democrats seem to many to be guilty of worse things, for which nobody is being held to account. This includes people like Biden and his alleged criminal enterprise selling access and policy to foreign buyers, or all those people on the Epstein client list we aren’t allowed to see.
The people whose ox is being gored see a court system making a martyr out of Trump and, regardless of what happens to him as an individual, and it’s clear murder is on their mind, they are creating a fictional superhero whose legend and movement will become ever more powerful and unstoppable among the wrench turners and builders of this country. The effeminate, creepy, demented leftoid scumbag “elites” have no real power.
The power of the effetes at the top right now is the soft power of institutional authority held up by, ironically, the integrity and trust brand of those institutions, which they are pissing away in this obvious bigoted and partisan lawfare campaign which many fear aims to murder Donald Trump, and possibly then his supporters. (This outcome is not a real possibility, it is perceived as a desired outcome by the left.)
The wrench turners and hustlers, the entrepreneurs and drivers, all these workaday folks, see no benefit from the narrative and agenda of these effete rulers who sit on the thin vapors of institutional authority which is only a product of the trust and integrity people see in those institutions.
The narrative of the ruling class is that all the grimy, tough folks whose hustle drives the economy, the 40% or so who have zero dependency on government and whose life’s work is a net inflow to the economy as opposed to being a net drain, are the bad people, while all the effete little cretins are the true heroes of society. King Charles III and Jeff Bezos in all the creepiness are the face of the ruling class, who look and act like primadonas, and who really think they know best.
The agenda of these effete cretin rulers is to subjugate the producers and builders to themselves, to keep the workers down and under control, and to steal their children whom the government schools turn into mentally-ill, but submissive, slaves.
It is all too much, too fast, and, increasingly, too painful.
Some legitimately don’t like Trump, but they understand that whatever happens to him unjustly, and whatever we tolerate being done to him out of revenge or something, could set a precedent and won’t stop with him. Here is a typical satement from a Trump supporter, “If they take Trump down, they will never stop until all their opponents are dead or in jail, and they WILL start the boxcars rolling for the rest of us, guaranteed.”
Well, to be clear, that MAY be the intention of these ruling class fools who sit atop a mountain of air whose very substance they are spending out in their bid to get Trump. Nonetheless, the left will not round up all their opponents because the institutional authority they would need those same people to respect in order to pull that off will be gone.
One doesn’t need to like Trump and one may feel he is over the top, bad, or whatever, but if this prevents you from seeing the injustice and criminality being directed at him by those who are at least no better, than you are essentially fiddling while Rome burns, despite the fact this whole story of Nero fiddling while Rome burned was a myth.
If you think Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, and all the other cast of clowns on the left aren’t at least as bad as you think Trump is, then you are a naive fool, although your opinion and feelings about this mean absolutely nothing to anyone outside the cocktail party circuits you may haunt, a bunch of ruling class fools pulling down their own house upon their own heads, in flames.
It is beyond the scope of this article to opine about all the things Trump did to contribute to this situation, but suffice it to say his followers can’t and won’t see that as long as the illegal lawfare is being used against him by people who are at least as corrupt as they say he is. An unequal measure is an abomination to God, and by extension, to the people who might feel slighted thereby. Trump supporters cannot even consider that he may bear any blame while they are in the throes of what they feel is an existential crisis which they fear will strip them of their very livelihoods and every freedom.
The possibilities Trump has colored outside the lines, created more enemies than he needed, showed a gross lack of decorum, and overall not been effective in building a functional and effective team, are all beyond the concern of his supporters because they fear that if the system can do this to Trump, it will do it to them. There may be many things Trump did wrong or things he didn’t do that he should have, including curbing his ego, that, if things were different, if he didn’t do the bad and if he did the good, that could have short-circuited this political witch hunt, but now is not the time to even have such a discussion with his supporters as they won’t listen while feeling so under fire.
When considering worse-case scenarios, it seems this illegal lawfare is pushing the limits for 40% or more of the population, even if it was for only 30% it would still be bad, and that throughout history precisely this kind of thing has repeatedly caused violent upheavals. It’s not that every time the effete ruling class go too far against an opponent or a group of people massive violent upheavals occur, but almost every massive violent upheaval has a similar genesis.
Thus it is both reasonable to assess things Trump did to provoke his opponents to an irrational and self-destructive rage while stating that the chief fault lies with those who currently have and are abusing the institutional authority they possess but did not create in such an irresponsible manner as to jeopardize the continued public perception that this institutional authority deserves respect or obedience. For this reason the police officer arresting an actual criminal is not legally supposed to be able to engage in abuse or mistreatment, this crime of police brutality being in many instances worse than what the criminal or alleged criminal has done.
Forget the mere political calculus and election results, i.e. if these over steps will cause one Party to lose at the polls. The deeper and more urgent issue is that illegal lawfare, perceived as such by 30% to 40% or more of the overall population, but most of the producing/working classes, will severely undermine that portion of the population’s belief in institutional authority as their trust and integrity brand comes apart.
It remains fashionable, almost to the point of a fetish, to whine and fear monger about “January 6th” as if this is worse than 911 or the years of violent unrest funded by the left, but the powder keg these foolish and irresponsible actions is building in our society now, which may mercifully not go off before eventually things simmer down, is negligence in the extreme.
Even if things eventually cool down and they powerder keg doesn’t go off, and nobody is saying it 100% will, those who took such crazed actions and engaged in this illegal lawfare still deserve prison themselves. Every prosecutor and their staff and every judge and most all of the Federal permanent administrative state who are engaged in this all deserve to be dealt with on the basis of being subversive rebels from within waging war against these United States of America.
That being said, in the name of peace, even if cool heads eventually prevail, it may be impracticable to go so far as pure justice would demand in each case. Prosecuting the prosecutors who broke the law could only further erode the civil cohesiveness of this country.
After this is sorted, if it doesn’t result in the worse-case scenario, it will be time to assess all that both sides have done to barrel down this dangerous path, and fault will likely be found aplenty in all the major camps whose actions for the past 50 years led to this. But for now, the lawfare insurrection against Trump in particular and Republicans in general (the Georgia indictments essentially aimed at the entire GOP) by the Democrats is by far one of the gravest sins against this country since the Democrats fought to keep their slaves and started what he had hoped would have been America’s ONLY civil war.
A Wisconsin Elementary School whose racist program targeting whites for discrimination was exposed is now claiming the principle was the one who implemented the anti-American, racist program all on his own. An attorney for the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, Dan Lennington, is disputing the claim, saying he has evidence the program came from the top. GO DEEPER
Lennington said in response to the dubious claim, in an interview with National Review, “When they say publicly, as they have now, ‘Oh, that one thing was just a misunderstanding, we do not prioritize students based on race,’ we think that’s a lie.” He also tweeted, “Prioritize Your African American Students”

It would appear that as of now, Lennington is not prepared to settle on this claim. He stated, “We are definitely looking at our options right now and considering what are the next steps to deal with this sort of rogue district that wants to continue discriminating based on race, despite some of their public statements.”

Ann Atkinson, the executive director of the T.W. Lewis Center for Personal Development at ASU’s Barrett Honors College, was fired shortly after the event was held. The sponsor of the T.W. Lewis Center, millionaire Tom Lewis, responded by withdrawing his annual $400,000 donation, saying, “After seeing this level of left-wing hostility and activism, I no longer had any confidence in Barrett to adhere to the terms of our gift, and made the decision to terminate our agreement, effective June 30, 2023.”
Republicans in the Arizona Senate created a committee to take a look at the free speech record of the tax-funded university, which appears to be just one of many fallen universities in this countries, universities infested with anti-American revolutionaries that share the values of the pedophilic father of current leftist thought, Michel Foucault, not the values of Thomas Jefferson, and certainly not the values of a free American Republic.

It looks like the DNC-DOJ is desperate to end the threat to the keeping of their seditious secrets, Donald J. Trump, who, if re-elected President, is sure this time to freeze out the RNC-DNC plants that infiltrated and destroyed his administration the first time. The President has let his followers know he received a letter from the DOJ informing him he is to appear before a grand jury over the January 6 protests/orchestrated “insurrections.” He claims such “requests” almost always mean the subject will be arrested and charged.
Trump stated, “He sent a letter (again, it was Sunday night!) stating that I am a TARGET of the January 6th Grand Jury investigation, and giving me a very short 4 days to report to the Grand Jury, which almost always means an Arrest and Indictment.”
If true, this writer believes such actions will only serve to shake off more support for the DNC-CCP. Their actions overtly demonstrate to common-sense Americans (even ones who don’t pay any real attention to politics, or even news for that matter) that the Democratic Party IS what the “conspiracy theorists” have said it is the whole time. The DNC-CCP has become a marxo-fascist cult hellbent on destroying Christianity and the American republic as the values of both are impediments to creating a new top-down expert oligarchy that will design humans in their image and purge the non-compliant.
Even if only 10 percent of “Democrats” are actually more than aware and willing to be the party that destroys Christianity and the American republic, the party is controlled by those adherents. What remains to be seen is how soon will people who support the Democratic party because of a favored issue (like abortion or universal healthcare) will come to understand that for the sake of their pet issue, they are choosing to empower a revolutionary anti-Christian, anti-American party.
People who vote for the DNC-CCP just to preserve the unholy “right” of murdering unborn children even if it means destroying the American republic and criminalizing God might be the heart of DNC power in reality. But for them, even them, perhaps more obvious Stalinesque acts such as the ongoing witch hunt against Donald Trump for obviously political reasons will drive home the awful choice they are actually making. What good is the freedom to murder your unborn child in a police state controlled by the few? That future is what the DNC-CCP has in mind, all for the price of your human agency and with a promise that can never be met, to end evil once and for all.
Some Michigan residents have had enough of the anti-constitutional bills that Democrat “lawmakers” have been passing since winning control of the state legislature and holding on to the governor’s office in 2020. They have initiated recall efforts against four Democrats who voted for overt violations of the 1st and 2nd Amendments through “hate crime” bills and “red flag laws.” One Republican is facing recall for voting for a vote to proceed that would elect a Democrat to State House Speaker.
Democratic Reps. Jamie Churches of Wyandotte, Jennifer Conlin of Ann Arbor and Reggie Miller of Van Buren Township have been targeted for voting for a “hate crime” bill that allegedly won’t punish people for not using their preferred pronouns, but other legal critics rightly say the bill is too vaguely worded to actually prevent such a prosecution from happening.
Democratic Reps. Betsy Coffia of Traverse City and Sharon MacDonell of Troy are being targeted for voting for Michigan’s overt violation of the 2nd Amendment, the Red Flag Laws, which allow guns to be confiscated from Americans without due process based on the reports of anyone who might be frightened by someone who owns a gun.
Republican Rep. Cam Cavitt of Cheboygan is being targeted for helping the Democrats get one of their own elected Speaker of the State House.
Michigan Democratic Party Chair Lavora Barnes equates defying the U.S. Constitution as “representing the needs of their constituents” in her defense of the four Democrats who voted against the American republic when they cast votes for such vulgar defiance of constitutional law as these bills represent.
Mlive chose to do the DNC-CCP’s dirty work and use its platform to give the DNC-CCP free advertising, characterizing the unconstitutional laws as “liberal policies,” implying the seditious Democrats are reflected of American values. Liberalism is tolerance of diversity, not forced acceptance, and a recognition of the rights of individuals to define and pursue their own happiness, something violently denied in these collection of Marxist-enabling bills.
Their coverage leads with this agit prop paragraph, “A recall effort is targeting five Democratic state representatives for votes this year on bills advancing liberal priorities on firearm safety and hate crimes.”
They call the seizure of guns from law abiding Americans without due process “firearm safety” and they accept the DNC-CCP-Marxist concept of “hate crime” as something that is part of a liberal mindset. They lied to their readers to characterize the recall as being the opposite of what it is, which is fighting back against the unconstitutional actions of a political party that has abandoned the American republic in word and deed, over and over and over again.

Americans are beginning to understand they are radically different than their anti-American counterparts. These anti-Americanists are also beginning to understand how radically different they are from Americans, though they demonize Americans and Americanism, referring to American beliefs and values as being “extreme,” “right wing” and “white supremacist.”
More and more non-activist, non-political Americans are discovering the political values of the Democratic party are in direct violation of and opposition to the Constitution of the United States. “Trans rights” activists are busy telling Americans that it’s an American value to presume that the identity you prefer the world to see you as is the identity they should be compelled to acknowledge and approve (so long as they’re leftist-approved identities, of course).
They might actually belief this, but it is anathema to America’s principle of “mind your own business.” We have a code that gives us opportunity to exchange value with one another without needing to be liked or approved by anyone. The moment you compel belief, you destroy the American republic, whether the rank and file trans activists realize this or not.
By their reckoning, if trans people cannot be recognized by people as who they say they are then they’ll kill themselves. That’s right, if you don’t surrender your beliefs to their need to be approved by you, they’ll kill themselves.
If that is true, trans people are holding American hostage with terrorist threats, demanding we undo our underlying principle that enables a diverse society to exchange value with one another.
That’s just one area where the Democrats and Americans part ways. And yes, I mean Americans, for not all Americans are conservatives, or even republicans. This writer, for instance, is not party-affiliated and has no desire to do so in the near future, nor do I consider myself a conservative (though to the left, anyone who supports bill of rights standards are conservative, and all conservatives are right wingers, and all right wingers are white supremacists).
I am an American, by choice, accepting the flaws, the past sins, the continuing shortcomings of our nation. I reject the Democratic Party and identify it as an existential threat to the American republic, the only government I recognize. My feelings are not unique.
With one side viewing the other as being the white devil and its brainwashed minions and the other side viewing that accuser as a pedophilic death cult hellbent on leading humanity to self-genocide in service of their self-god avatar, ‘the social,’ it is no wonder that people are beginning to separate from one another, which is seen in the current trend in citizen migration in America today.
An Ap report shows that Americans are moving to American-friendly states and anti-Americans are moving to anti-American states. Never have so many states been so divided across party lines in American history, and that only continues to get “worst,” or “better,” depending on how you view this separation.

One party controls the entire legislature in all but two states. In 28 states, the party in control has a supermajority in at least one legislative chamber — which means the majority party has so many lawmakers that they can override a governor’s veto. Not that that would be necessary in most cases, as only 10 states have governors of different parties than the one that controls the legislature.
The split has sent states careening to the political left or right, adopting diametrically opposed laws on some of the hottest issues of the day. In Idaho, abortion is illegal once a heartbeat can be detected in a fetus — as early as five or six weeks — and a new law passed this year makes it a crime to help a minor travel out of state to obtain one. In Colorado, state law prevents any restrictions on abortion. In Idaho, a new law prevents minors from accessing gender-affirming care, while Colorado allows youths to come from other states to access the procedures.
You can tell from the phrase “gender affirming care” that you are dealing with a DNC-CCP media organ, so you know this article is intended to be a warning to the DNC-CCP to make moves, most likely at the Federal level, to cut off the attempts by Americans to escape the infested DNC-CCP Federal government through state government protections.
States such as this writer’s own state, PA, are some of the few still divided states, but even within these states Americans are finding American-friendly counties to escape anti-American controlled ones. This is what happens when two people groups occupy the same land. Like will gather to like until neither side can deny the real power, or lack of power, the other side has. I am betting the anti-American Democratic Party is soon to discover they were always an Astro-turfed movement, and that when people have the power to choose with their feet, they’ll flee the DNC-CCP Iron curtains and head to the lands of the free.
THE TRANS IDEOLOGY IS PURE EVIL, most serious observant Christians will agree. So then, what is our response?
People who identify as trans are no more evil than any of us without Jesus, and these human beings are not our enemy. The enemy is Satan, but even at that, we can recognize a coherent ideology, fruiting out as trans-genderism and trans-humanism, that is pure evil and that will destroy our entire civilization.
But what is the proper response to this hideous, Satanic assault aimed at making us all mindless slaves of a reprobate ruling class and erasing humanity itself? The response is to unilaterally adopt and build the genesis structures of a NEW Christian civilizational paradigm! The ideals of such a new civilization will empower and enable people to break free, maintain their Christian way of life in peace and abundance, and flourish even as society around them turns totalitarian, becomes poor, and experiences deadly upheavals almost constantly.
The trans ideology is really the justification and facilitation of the suicidal erasure of the human race. It is nothing less than that. To be clear, the trans ideology, whether it is radical and authoritarian trans-genderism or trans-humanism, represents a suicidal and totalitarian departure from the laws of nature that are rooted in the laws of God. It is the ultimate nadir of human culture and reveals how depraved, lost, and frankly unhinged our ruling class have become who push this evil.
The invasion of people who are males BY NATURE AND BY GOD’S LAWS into women’s spaces, violating their modesty, safety, and privacy, is abhorrent. This is unsettling to actual women who are being erased (e.g., “What is a woman?” has no answer from these idiots). But it is a far deeper problem even than that, which is severe enough. When trans-genderism is pared with its even more evil twin, trans-humanism, it represents the fatal decline of every civilization infected by it.
All things “trans” (in terms of this alt-gendered and anti-human anticulture ideology, while not calling people evil) are reprehensible and dangerous to a healthy life and society. We must destroy this trans ideology, or it will cause hundreds of thousands to millions of DEATHS and destroy our entire civilization. Everything you love and have worked for will be consumed and burned up by this wicked authoritarian movement.
Trans ideology = slavery and death to America. Whether it is the ideology that says a “trans woman” (natural man as Created by God) is in fact a real woman or the trans-humanism movement that ultimately adores AI and seeks the end of biological humans, the concept of “trans” from what God made you to anything other than that is wickedness. This is especially true of its authoritarian elements which begin with a demand for tolerance, then a demand for acceptance which leads to a demand for celebration at all times, and which then leads to a demand to force this evil ideology on to your kids, and, ultimately, which leads to a social credit system that pressures you to prove your acceptance by participating.
Just wait until you are forced by trans-humanists to “download” a map of your mind and let them install your memories into a machine which then replaces you, because it is cheaper to run a machine than to feed you! Once you accept trans-genderism and let them have your children to corrupt and indoctrinate, the table is set for the other shoe to drop: trans-humanism. You will be forced to accept the erasure of humans just as you accept the erasure of women. This is the true trans agenda, as envisioned by the evil ruling class: the erasure of humans.
All of this trans-gender and trans-human ideology in its authoritarian bent is dangerous to freedom and safety within a society that has already mostly lost its social fabric and modesty and made itself morally and spiritually unstable and weak! Essentially, every major world civilization, starting with Western Civilization, that has adopted this trans ideology, beginning with trans-genderism as the gateway ideology, is commiting suicide.
Unless you are not dependent upon the ruling class and their corrupted institutions and structures for sustenance, you are doomed to experience that destruction in your life. Breaking free from the people who run every major institution in this country according to ideologies we can only describe as doctrines of devils is one of the key radical imperatives of the hour.
It should be noted that a small isolated intentional community or collaborative association of fellow Christians lacks the scale and depth to withstand the onslaught that will be directed at them to force them to comply. Our problem is civilizational in scale, and our response must be civilizational in scale.
Trans ideology will ultimately run and then ruin the entirety of Western Civilization, especially America, and any other civilization, culture, society, country, or national people group who adopt its wicked ideas in any form. You have to decide for yourself and your family: ruin or liberation.
You will either be stuck in the flow of and dependency toward a dying civilization or you will decide to run with and adopt a new civilizational paradigm that will make you bulletproof against the many machinations of our corrupt ruling class. Anything less than the latter choice equals making the former choice, even if you do so by passive default without knowing it.
An individual who wishes to transition and assume the miene of a female is perfectly within their human agency, though in the eyes of God, unless this person is a born hermaphrodite, they have no “right” to demand God’s or anyone’s approval of their rebellion against the Creator’s laws! The issue is not trans people, which is people who identify as such and use their human agency to portray themselves as another gender, the issue is the ideology which also seeks forced “celebration” thereof on pain of some form of “consequences.”
While it is not at all our intent or aim to proscribe human agency, even to choose to adopt being trans this or that, it is not our intent to elevate that to some sort of right which everyone else must show deference to through forced acceptance. In short, human agency isn’t a right to disobey God, it just means that God judges and punishes in totality whereas we in our magisterial powers as ordained by God are limited as to what aspects of our human agency the state itself can proscribe. Hence, we aren’t seeking laws against people being trans.
When that womanface clown dude Dylan Mulvany threatens to sue anyone who doesn’t use his assumed gender, e.g. taking on the miene of a little girl who acts in the worst stereotypes of being a female, you can see how this is not merely a personal choice but an authoritarian ideology that is actually coming for YOU! Unless you are willing to engage in sex acts with a “trans” this or that, you will find that in time, especially in public schools, you and your children will become socially shunned pariahs constantly harassed and abused for your unwillingness to bow to their altrainbow pantheon.
This is us or them. This is freedom or slavery. This is either we become trans enthusiasts and betray God and His laws or we become a prey to angry woke cancel culture mobs bent on our destruction while we are physically powerless to resist their assaults on our rights, our property, and our persons. Unless you are sustained in your necessities by means not controlled by or connected to the structures that are run by our wicked ruling class, your protesting against all this will avail you no good: you can’t letter write or vote your way out of this, you must REMOVE your life’s sustenance in all aspects, as much and as soon as possible, from all dependency on this present system.
Mutual self-reliance and self-determination among fellow travelers is essential. You must unify with people who reject any notion society ought to ignore and not be governed by God’s laws. You must resort to the painful and difficult work of intentionlly restoring the social fabric in your life, relationships, and associations.
You must PREFER those of the same ilk as you. You must be deliberate about building and preserving community, extended family, the nuclear family, and marriage between one man and one woman as a mystical bond of oneness not available any other way between any two humans, solely on the basis of God’s laws.
In short, we must create a new form of shared identity at scale, called “nationhood”, that reflects God’s laws and righteous standards for the nations, by which we might reconstitute the social fabric and essentially give rise to the emergence of a new Christian civilization. Ultimately we must create a new nationhood, a spiritual nation based on God’s laws and ways.
The personal impact is felt as this nationhood allows us to facilitate connections and collaboration at the local level. As people gather and work together using this nationhood as a sociocultural and socioeconomic foundation, the social fabric is made unassailable. By this means we can build strong marriages in union with Christ, strong nuclear and extended families, and strong self-contained and self-sufficient intentional communities that may be distributed or clustered together in one habitation.
What we are saying is that the solution is not to reform the existing civilization and its political sociocultural, socioeconomic, civil, civic, or even religious institutions and structures ruled by a few evil scoundrels who view the entirety of the population outside themselves as cattle to be used and consumed. The solution is internal, peaceful, but very real economic, social, civil, civic, and cultural separation and independency to wit we build the rudiments of a new Christian civilization in our own lives, relationships, associations, and communities on our own terms, per our own beliefs, and for our own well-being and mutual benefit.
The baby steps we take today become the seedlings from whence future generations will find a strong, towering tree that offers sustenance and safety from the raging storms created by the forced adoption of this trans ideology by most people. Society and civilization itself will endure massive, deadly upheavals and ruination while those who today chose the path of a new Christian civilizational paradigm will remain mostly unaffected and free.
Trans ideology is the death of culture, of civilization, of society, and every country under its thrall. We cannot stop this civilization from falling for the lie, because essentially our civilization has run its course, become old and decadent, as well as senile, and cannot be saved. It must be avoided, separated from, and replaced in your own life and relationships with a new civilizational paradigm in keeping with our Christian ideals and faith.
Unless a person has paid essentially no attention to any news for the last twenty years, strident complaints and warnings about the abysmal state of basic infrastructure in the United States is nearly impossible to avoid.
Highways, local roads, bridges, railroads – the arteries that carry both commerce and the work force, both inter- and intrastate – are in terrible condition. The situation has become critical enough, that it has noticeably slowed the velocity of the supply chain, compounding the impacts of both the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the grounding of the MV Ever Given container ship in 2021.
Critically, failures in the railroad network caused by favoring profiteering over operational efficiency – one of the few examples of actual failure in deregulation policies – are leading to staff cuts of up to twenty-nine percent, while the mileage of operating rail track has steadily decreased, even though per-mile profits rise.
This is a toxic situation, as the imbalance between railroads and over-the-road (OTR) trucking continues to grow. Even given the inefficiencies inherent in OTR vs Rail (as freight trains commonly haul between 200 and 300 intermodal containers, or dedicated freight cars, allowing a crew of three or four to do the work of 200 or more people), slowdowns caused by poor infrastructure increasingly impact the economy…
All of this has been known for decades, although it is little remarked about in the mainstream press, unless there is some major newsworthy nugget to titillate the audience…That said – what does this have to do with a critical strategic threat to the United States? What does this have to do with security and defense, aside from the obvious logistics advantages?
A recent YouTube video by the channel “Real Life Lore” (YouTube link) pointed out that the Continental United States, i.e., the “Lower 48”, is uniquely blessed with a unique terrain that practically guarantees global economic dominance to anyone who can control this territory. This has, in fact, been the reason for the meteoric rise of the United States over the course of the last one hundred and thirty-odd years.
The driving engine behind this geological and geographical system lays in the facts that, first, no major agricultural or manufacturing center in the Lower 48 is further than 150 miles (240km) from a navigable waterway. East of the Rocky Mountains, the majority of navigable waterways feed into the Mississippi River system (which is itself navigable all the way to Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota), which then flows south, to the port of New Orleans.
From there, the Intracoastal Waterway chain of barrier islands provides a near contiguous navigable seaway, for almost the entire length of the US coast, from Brownsville, Texas, to Virginia, and from there, to the Hudson River, which connects to the Great Lakes, all with little exposure to open sea conditions. No other continent has this precise mix of features. And, as water transport is anywhere from ten to thirty times more efficient than any other type of transport, the titanic economic advantages are obvious.
However – there is a catch: Vidalia, Louisiana.
Most readers will have never heard of Vidalia. This is not surprising, as it is a tiny town of barely 4,300 people, even though it is the seat of Concordia Parish. Vidalia, however, is home to perhaps the single-most critical point of physical security in the world:
The Old River Control Structure.
Completed by the US Army Corps of Engineers in 1963, the Old River Control Structure was built to prevent the Mississippi River from diverting its course into the Atchafalaya River. The Mississippi River’s tends to wander over time. For the entire existence of the United States as a nation, the Mississippi followed (more or less) its current course. As a result, the city of New Orleans – and its seaport – was built and expanded into the critical complex that it is today. Indeed, it was a pivotal point in the War of 1812, in a battle that launched the career of a future President, and later formed a cornerstone of Federal strategy in the Civil War.
In 1953, however, the Corps of Engineers concluded that the Mississippi was beginning to shift its course again, and that if left unchecked, it would divert into the Atchafalaya Basin by 1990. Thus, they launched the Old River Control Structure project at their predicted point of divergence at Vidalia, as the result of such a diversion would be catastrophic, as the Mississippi river would quickly and violently carve a new channel and river delta complex, emptying into the Gulf of Mexico some sixty miles to the west of New Orleans, an even that would leave both New Orleans and the Louisiana state capital of Baton Rouge not simply ‘high and dry’, but would leave both major cities without a source of fresh water.
Aside from the catastrophic environmental impact on the United States and major cities along the river’s route –as well as the significant impact on the strategic military system of the US in the Lower 48 – the impact on the economy of the United States would almost certainly lead to another “Great Depression”, virtually overnight, an economic contagion that would almost certainly crash the world’s economy, as the United States’ economic system is not designed to flow “upriver”.
The Corps of Engineers did a fantastic job on the control project; the only significant natural threat to the structure was the Mississippi flood of 1973, with damaged the structure to a degree.
But now, we live in the world of the early 21st Century, and “lateral thinking” about security has to be taken into account…Specifically, the “Poor Man’s Nuclear Weapon”.
On April 16, 1947, an explosion in the port of Texas City, Texas mostly vaporized the SS Grandcamp, formerly, the SS Benjamin R. Curtis, a Liberty Ship built during World War 2 and later gifted to France to help rebuild that country’s merchant marine. The ship had been loaded with approximately 2,300 tons of ammonium nitrate – used in fertilizer or explosives – as well as small mounts of other cargo. The explosion leveled nearly 1,000 buildings within 2,000 feet of the explosion, killing at least 560 people (including all but one of the town’s 28-man volunteer fire department) and injuring more than 5,000 people, almost 1,800 of whom were admitted to area hospitals. Some 63 people were unidentifiable, and were buried in a memorial cemetery; an additional 113 people were declared “missing”, because no identifiable parts could be found. The Grandcamp’s 2-ton anchor was hurled over 1.5 miles, digging itself into a 10-ft deep crater, while one of her propellers was thrown 2 miles inland. More than 1,100 vehicles, 360 rail freight cars and 500 homes were damaged; 10 miles away, in the city of Galveston, half the windows in town were shattered. All told, damages totaled between $1,000,000,000 and $4,500,000,000, in 2019 dollars.
Then, on August 4, 2020, an estimated 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate fertilizer – confiscated from an impounded ship nearly a decade before – detonated in a gargantuan explosion. The blast – estimated as equal to 1.1 kilotons of TNT – killed at least 218 people, injured over 7,000, and left nearly 300,000 people homeless.
Such a blast would critically damage the Old River Control Structure; two or three, should they happen simultaneously, would certainly destroy it outright. Neither ships, nor ammonium nitrate, are hard to come by. And they are not, comparatively, all that expensive. Both are within easy reach of many “extra-national hostile groups”. And the MV Rhosus, the ship at the center of the Beirut blast story, would have been capable of transiting for most of the Mississippi’s length…
…And yet, there are no real security measures in Vidalia that would prevent an American version of the St. Nazaire Raid.
Someone should really look into this.

A country that recognizes its highest originating authority and moral/ethical standards are set according to the true meaning of our Declaration of Independence, reading all this in favor of every American without exception, is a country whose arc of moral and spiritual destiny leans heavily toward liberty and justice for all. The fundamental ideas and ethical standards as applied to all governance and corporate behavior which animate our land and its diverse peoples MUST come from both a literal application of the Bill of Rights, understood in their original language and spirit and intent.
The basic idea is that the original spirit and intent of the US Bill of Rights is to empower citizens and restrain government while providing for the sanctity and protection of the rights, persons, and private property of all Americans, without favor or prejudice. While some choose to quibble and argue, often using modern definitions of older language, where the original meaning was different, to read the Bill of Rights in an intolerant and authoritarian manner that reduces the People and enlarges government and corporate cartels at the expense of everyone else.
We read the Bill of Rights as an absolute statement on the inherent and God-given agency, sovereignty, and liberty of all human beings, especially the right to be well-armed against ALL hazards to their rights, persons, or private property, regardless of whether it is foreign or domestic, official or criminal, by all proportional means according to the unwritten but sacred laws of justice.
In these United States of America, there is no line between the apparatus calling itself a state government or the federal government and the People, who are the highest authority and who are the government. The concepts of government being over the people, even of government having a monopoly on force, are alien to free people and we must work both to enlighten the People as to their inherent supreme sovereignty over the state apparatus as well as corporate cartels and their innate ability, compared to these entities, to reign supreme over them.
Unless people understand, embrace, and then develop the skills and local to countrywide networks to exercise this supreme sovereignty by which the state apparatus and corporations can be made their servants, then this country will slide into deeper authoritarian decadence until we are the slaves and a tiny, corrupt and depraved, ruling class lords over us.
It is our task and mission, IF enough people BACK US through paid subscriptions, to enlighten people as to their true sovereignty as free citizens who OWN this country, to impart skills they can use in civic and political action, to keep them informed and up to date, to facilitate the creation of clubs and networks devoted to this mission, and to organize and mobilize a parallel “virtual” structure at every level to directly affect public and corporate policy.
For each of these aspects of our mission, all subordinated to our vision, we will be creating blueprints, ideally through voluntary Round Table Groups tasked with advising in each area, drawn from paid subscribers, and who will ultimately become the pool from whence we mostly seek to find part-time and full-time staff, joint-venture partners, and local club and/or news operations franchises.
