In the span of one week, two Republican lawmakers from New Jersey were shot dead. Milford Councilman Russell Heller was shot dead outside his business office seven days after Sayreville Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour was shot dead outside her home. Heller was killed by a former employee while Dwumfour’s killer has yet to be identified.
Republicans are rightly concerned that the heated rhetoric of Democrats, starting with Biden at the top, is triggering violence against republicans. The Democratic Governor of New Jersey, Phil Heller, used the murder of republicans to capitalize once again on the death of others in a bid once again to further stigmatize gun ownership and get voters to support gun confiscation.
