Twitter has decided to suspend companies on Twitter that post quotes from American politicians if Twitter decides that particular opinion falls under the Orwellian category of “misinformation.” The company was a media company named Grabien, whose Twitter account quoted a US congressmember who stated, “Big Pharma Won’t Consider Therapeutics Like HCQ or Ivermectin Because of Economic Interests.”

Media company Grabien was reportedly suspended on Twitter after it posted a quote from a congressman.
Grabien shared comments from Rep. Biggs about COVID-19 treatments.
“Rep. Biggs: Big Pharma Won’t Consider Therapeutics Like HCQ or Ivermectin Because of Economic Interests,” the tweet that led to the ban read, with a link to a video of Bigg’s comments.
Twitter allegedly told Grabien that its account had been suspended for “violating the policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19.”
Grabien founder Tom Elliott said the ban was “next-level Twitter absurdity.”
“Obviously, in this case, quoting an elected leader on an issue that matters to everyone is important and newsworthy, regardless of whether you agree,” he added. “(And I can’t help but add that his basic point was once mainstream among progressives.)”
Elliot said he appealed the decision but does not expect much.
