The Federal Judge overseeing the proceedings against President Donald Trump by the FBI after the Mar-a-Lago raid has awarded the Trump team with the special master they wanted to review the evidence the FBI gathered .
“The Court hereby authorizes the appointment of a special master to review the seized property for personal items and documents and potentially privileged material subject to claims of attorneyclient and/or executive privilege…. [and] also temporarily enjoins the Government from reviewing and using the seized materials for investigative purposes pending completion of the special master’s review or further Court order.” Federal Judge Aileen M. Cannon
The Judge gave Team Trump almost everything they asked for, including providing a check list for the items they allege the FBI took, including personal medial records.
This judge is one appointed by Trump, which means we have reason to hope this man might yet receive due process in keeping with our American constitutional tradition.
The raid itself reeked of lawfare, a tactic the DNC has been utilizing for years, but one that has been ramped up by a thousand since Trump’s ascent.
