NORTH CAROLINA SCOTUS GIVES DEMS LAST WIN ON WAY OUT – The North Carolina Supreme Court will shift from a Democrat majority to a Republican majority after the 2022 midterm elections. Despite that, the partisan Democrats on the court gave the Democrats a 4-3 win on voter redistricting based purely on their preference that Democrats stay in office (at least, legally, that’s the only plausible reading of their ruling).
One outlet is calling it a coup. We’re inclined to agree:
