Justice Clarence Thomas has been hospitalized with an infection, the Supreme Court announced in a statement.

Thomas was admitted to Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., on Friday evening after experiencing flu-like symptoms, Supreme Court spokesperson Patricia McCabe said in a statement.

He was diagnosed with an infection after undergoing tests and is being treated with intravenous antibiotics, McCabe said. She did not provide more details on the nature of the infection.

“His symptoms are abating, he is resting comfortably, and he expects to be released from the hospital in a day or two,” McCabe said. “Justice Thomas will participate in the consideration and discussion of any cases for which he is not present on the basis of the briefs, transcripts and audio of the oral arguments.”

January 6th Committee Suggests Trump Maybe Crimed

It appears the January 6th DNC Committee to make not being DNC illegal has come up with a vainglorious claim that is sure to be picked up by all the usual DNC access media such as politicsusa and whatnots (see Yahoo News shrill headline below).

The committee is using words like criminal activity, but fail to cite specific laws, only hints at the possibility there were crimes.  The evidence suggests if we had more evidence he’d be guilty.

Once again, unfortunately for the DNC, we got ourselves another giant squawking nothingburger bird.

  • The Jan. 6 committee said in a new court filing that it believes Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election violated several laws.
  • The House panel said the evidence so far indicates Trump tried to obstruct an official proceeding.
  • It also said the evidence suggests Trump conspired to defraud the United States and engaged in common law fraud.

The House select committee investigating the Capitol riot said in a new court filing Thursday that it believes former President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election results violated several laws.

The panel said the evidence it’s gathered so far suggests that Trump tried to obstruct an official proceeding; conspired to defraud the United States; and engaged in common law fraud.

Thursday’s filing is not an indictment and does not charge Trump with a crime. It comes as part of the January 6 committee’s ongoing legal battle with the former law professor and Trump legal advisor John Eastman,…

A 12 year old boy was arrested, handcuffed, and informed he was going to be charged with battery and robbery for allegedly stealing a bike.  The problem was the officer was dead wrong, and the child’s Mother wants to know what led to the suspicion and the arrest in the first place.

The boy is black.  The police were led to approach the boy by unidentified kids who identified him as the assailant.  The cops surrounded the boy and pulled him off the bike, leading him away from the crowd that had already gathered, wondering why this boy was being held for riding his own bike in the first place.

The answers the cops gave were not sufficient.

In the video, there are multiple police cars present.  Multiple officers of multiple races and genders are arresting the boy, handcuffing him, and allegedly informing him he will be charged with battery and assault based on eyewitness testimony alone.

The questions are many, starting with why so many officers were involved in the arrest of a child for stealing a bike and punching a kid.  The next question is why did these police not do a basic investigation before jumping to arresting a boy based on eyewitness testimony alone.  The last question is whether this boy would have been arrested if everyone involved in this situation was white.

Gitmo Detainee Loses SCOTUS Case

The Supreme Court ruled this Thursday that the US government does not have to divulge secret information to Abu Zubaydah, who was captured in 2002 in Pakistan and has been residing in Guantanamo Bay since 2006.

The ruling is difficult to cite as it amounts to 1 justice that writes the majority decision with 5 justices joining aspects of the decision and two justices joining in strong dissent.  Gorsuch and Sotomayor were the dissenting Justice, with Steven Breyer writing the majority fractured opinion.

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled for the U.S. government in a case involving a Guantanamo Bay detainee seeking what the government said is secret information.

Abu Zubaydah, who was captured in Pakistan in 2002, was once thought to be a high-ranking member of the terrorist group al-Qaida. He was tortured while being held at so-called CIA black sites abroad before being transferred to Guantanamo Bay in 2006. Zubaydah was seeking to get the testimony of two former CIA contractors as part of an Polish investigation into his treatment.

Justice Stephen Breyer wrote for the majority that the government had argued “Zubaydah’s discovery request could force former CIA contractors to confirm the location of the detention site and that confirmation would itself significantly harm national security interests.”

“In our view, the Government has provided sufficient support for its claim of harm to warrant application” of the so-called state secrets privilege, he said.

DNC Media Spead Fake News About DeSantis Kids Mask “Confrontation”

In a video that showed current Florida Governor Ron DeSantis we can see the governor telling the kids behind him that they no longer need to wear a mask, that masks don’t really offer much protections, but if you feel better wearing the mask you should feel free to do so.  A couple of kids took their masks off and smiled with relief, and a few more didn’t.  From that exchange, the DNC media is claiming DeSantis was bullying kids to try to force them to take their masks off.

CBS, NBC Lie About Ron DeSantis ‘Admonishing’ Kids to Take Off Masks

On Wednesday, CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News both took issue with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis letting a group of High School students know that it is ok for them to take their masks off while they were standing behind him during a public event at the University of Florida.

CBS Evening News was the first to whine about DeSantis’s comments, with correspondent Mola Lenghi claiming the Governor “admonished” the students. Despite that claim, CBS then played Governor DeSantis’s comments which only proved it wasn’t “admonishing”:

You do not have to wear those masks. I mean, please take them off. Honestly, it’s not doing anything, and we got to stop with this COVID theater. So if you want to wear it, fine, but this is ridiculous.

Meanwhile, NBC expressed much of the same tone with correspondent Miguel Almaguer announced that the road back to the “new normal” after the COVID pandemic “may be bumpy with the country still divided.”

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear arguments in four cases challenging the constitutionality of a decades-old federal law aimed at protecting Native American children.

The Court granted certiorari Monday in Brackeen v. Haaland, consolidating it with three other cases: Haaland v. Brackeen, Cherokee Nation v. Brackeen, and Texas v. Haaland.

“The petitions for writs of certiorari are granted,” the Court said in its order Monday, adding that the cases will be consolidated going forward. The Court limited oral argument to a total of one hour and set a briefing schedule for the parties.

All four cases stem from efforts by Chad Brackeen and Jennifer Brackeen, a Texas couple, to adopt a Navajo child. The Brackeens, who are white evangelical Christians and not Native…

Black Families Turning to Homeschooling Because Racism?

Are black families choosing homeschooling because schools are racist?  That’s what a NY Times article suggests.  The article pulls an anecdotal story of one family whose son learned at a white-dominated school that slaves were just receiving “on-the-job-training.”

I must say, if your school has any literature that words slavery in that manner, ALL parents should be at the next school board meeting demanding that racist agit prop be removed from school. If this story is indeed true (and I am operating under the assumption that it is), it doesn’t match what I learned about slavery in school, and I went to school back in the 1970s and 80s.

I grew up when the tv mini-series was on everyone’s mind.  I watched the whole series with my family.  I learned early on of the racist, genocidal history of America.  I didn’t learn that I was responsible for it or that I should be treated like a sinner because of the actions others who had the same melatonin levels as me did evil things.

I may have learned about George Washington’s apple tree in elementary school.  By high school, I learned he had slaves.  I learned there was no apple tree.  I didn’t learn that I was the creator of evil and that everyone that looked like me, looks like me, are the creators of evil too.  I didn’t need to learn that lie to see the mixed results of the American experiment.

Hopefully, the article is merely anecdotal.  I’d love to believe it was outright false.  If it is not, let us hope people suffered consequences for allowing such evil to get into the minds of our children using taxpayer dollars to do so.  It would be like telling children that their parents literally invented slavery and racism and now the new society is going to fix what these evil parents did to make everything so hateful and racist and bigoted.  What kind of emotional trauma would that create in a forming mind?

I suspect there are many black families that are taking their kids out of school for far more reasons than the school is racist.  I suspect a lot of kids in nearly-all-black schools are getting taken out of the system as well, as more and more Americans, of many races, come to see how damaged our current education truly is.

More than teaching children to hate each other, as our schools are currently doing, they are also teaching kids to pass standardized tests.  They are cramming them with memory lists to pass tests that will create little lasting habits of action which these kids will find anywhere remotely useful in life.

They prepare them for a world by telling them everything that came before it is evil, so we will start with a clean slate, judging people based on their race, sexual preference, and gender alone (where race and gender become synonymous with ideology, so that ‘black’ is a politics plus black biology, while ‘white’ is a politics that overrides biology).

Perhaps many black families find such un-American actions as stigmatizing people based on their beliefs, gender, sexual preference, and race something they wish to protect their children from.  Perhaps many families, of many races, are beginning to understand how important it is for all of us to be one American race, defined not by our DNA but by our commitment to live out the standards set out in the Bill of Rights with our neighbors.

We seek to live in a land where we don’t want, don’t need your approval, but demand your respect when we exchange value with one another.  This is the land of the free, where tolerance still means never forcing anyone to approve of anyone or anything but treating everyone like their favorite cousin when they exchange value with them in shared American space, space not defined by free association fellowships but by public ones.  I suspect that hope is shared by many, across many other divides.

It is a world that the authors of such stories wish to prevent us from having, a world where America keeps progressing towards her Bill of Rights potential, a potential that has already undone slavery and brought the women the vote, enabled gay and lesbian couples to have the same marriage rights as heterosexual couples and is still challenging our assumptions of what it means to live in a land whose ultimate authority is rested in the state’s record on respecting each individual’s bills of rights, to treat everyone with respect as if they matter as much as you, even if you ‘know’ they clearly don’t.

Let us hope the families that do encounter such actual racism in our schools finds a truth out there that leads them to a shared hope in an America with Bill of Rights protections for all, in all our public spaces.  Continuing down this path of factional division will only help America’s enemies, who hate the black American as much as they hate the Asian American as much as they hate the White American, etc, etc, etc.

The Chinese State loves the subterfuge, the self-hate, the doubt, the devastation on American morale that the DNC Left is pressing on us through its schools, its media, its control of the means of social and cultural production.  Don’t become a useful political football in the DNC charade, black America.  Stay with the Bill of Rights people.  Divided we fall.  Together we stand.

Minnesota Senate Bill Would Make School Curriculums Transparent

The Minnesota Senate Republicans are hoping to pass a bill that would make public school curricula more transparent to parents, and also equip parents to be able to challenge the schools when they find issue with what the schools are teaching. In many school districts, especially over the last ten years, what was once openly available, even online, is now behind firewalls. Parents must file a FOIA request to see their own school’s curriculum. What do the schools have to hide from us?

The push for more transparency and accountability is only going to increase across this country as more and more parents are coming to realize just how militant our own government schools have been in attempting to create revolutionaries and activists cut in the party’s image (the DNC) rather than equip people to build lives of their own choosing within an American republican reality, a Constitutional republic that affords its citizens the primary source of government power, even guaranteeing their right to bear arms should the state fail to recognize who the real government is (not the experts, not the elected officials, not the bureaucrats, the people, who have rights, even when they are in the minority).

Senate GOP bills would change how Minnesota teachers disclose curriculum to parents

Minnesota Senate Republicans on Monday unveiled a series of bills they say would empower parents to review and object to school curriculum.

Four GOP lawmakers, including two running for governor, said they want to enshrine in state law the principle that a parent has a right to direct their child’s education.

Parents know what’s best for their kids in their education,” state Sen. Paul Gazelka, R-East Gull Lake, said during a news conference. The former majority leader is seeking his party’s endorsement for governor.

“Let’s make a syllabus available in every classroom in Minnesota,” said state Sen. Michelle Benson, R-Ham Lake, who is also running for governor.

Details about the proposals were scarce. Under current state law, school districts have to provide instructional materials for parents’ review upon request, as well as “alternative instruction” if parents object to the content.

“You’re getting down in the…
