The British have fired back at China through Twitter, with a UK Official, Liz Truss, saying the Falkland Islands are “part of the British family.”

“The Argentine side reiterated its adherence to the one-China principle and the Chinese side reiterated its support for the Argentine side’s request to fully exercise its sovereignty over the Malvinas Islands issue,” the statement said.

UK Culture Secretary Nadine Dorries has warned Mark Zuckerberg and other Social Media magnates that their days might be numbered if they don’t comply with the Online Safety Bill she is working to get passed. Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer on Sunday revealed how the Biden family have profited from business with individuals “linked to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence.”
Schweizer, the author of Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win, said Biden’s son Hunter, while the elder Biden was serving as both vice president and president, was engaged in deals with individuals tied to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence. He called the Biden family’s business dealings “unprecedented.”
“One of the most startling things we uncovered is the simple fact that the Biden family, while he was vice president of the United States and continuing when he became president, received some $31 million from Chinese individuals who are linked to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence,” Schweizer outlined on Fox News Channel’s Life, Liberty & Levin.
….“His business partner was the vice minister at the ministry for state security,” Schweizer added. “He was in charge of, among other things, recruiting foreign nationals to spy for China. He was the head of something called the Number Eight Bureau. It doesn’t get any higher than that. These are the sorts of individuals that were striking deals with Hunter Biden. In this particular case, Che Feng happened to help a $20 million deal be secured. Another individual that helped arrange that deal is a guy named Mr. Zhao. Mr. Zhao helped with that $20 million deal. He also sent $5 million to Hunter Biden, and he sent that money from a very interesting business called Harvest Global.”

Thousands of Canadian truckers, along with other supporters, arrived in Ottawa last month to protest against COVID-19 mandates enforced by the country’s liberal leader, Justin Trudeau, and the Communist Party of Canada.
Known as the “Freedom Convoy,” truckers are drawing attention to public health measures, such as vaccine mandates, and how they are an overreach by the government and abuse of power.
The number of people advocating for the truckers has grown substantially over the past few weeks, which was evident by the nearly 10 million dollars that was raised on GoFundMe.
Even though the crowdfunding website no longer intends to distribute funds to the truckers, those supporting the movement say they will continue to stand by the convoy.

More than 80 guns have been stolen from cargo trains in the Lincoln Heights rail yards since August, according to the Los Angeles Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
Five people have been arrested on various charges relating to the theft of 82 guns, but officials have been able to recover only a handful.
”I’ve got 24 years in LAPD, ex-military, secret clearance and I have to wait 10 days to get a new firearm and these guys are going into these containers with no locks and getting guns,” Capt. German Hurtado told the Los Angeles Times. “These guns were unguarded, unprotected. God knows how many guns have been stolen that way.”

Now a massive astroturfing effort is happening in the field of copyright law, and anyone who produces creative content should be paying close attention. As I wrote last week, there are major problems with the American Law Institute’s Restatement project, starting with how the project was initiated (at the request of a Google-funded, anti-copyright law activist professor) and the Lead Reporter’s unacknowledged conflicts of interest. Major flaws in the draft Restatement have been pointed out by other prominent copyright law scholars, a bipartisan group from Congress, the Register of Copyrights (the director of the Copyright Office), and even Advisors to the project. All of these groups essentially claim that the Restatement incorrectly interprets the Copyright Act and the policy preferences of the Reporters are improperly included. A letter to ALI from 10 of the project’s advisors states:

New report and poll offers data and strategies for protecting free expression against ‘overwhelming evidence’ of threats
Students’ tendency to overvalue perspectives based on experience over knowledge, facts and logic can harm classroom discourse and university culture, according to a new report penned by a group of bipartisan scholars and administrators.
To resolve this, professors should teach students to rely on discipline-based norms of evidence, “so that students are neither unfairly burdened with expectations to speak nor excluded because of their experience and identity.”
The advice was among several suggestions in the report, titled “Campus Free Expression: A New Roadmap,” a guide for college leaders to foster academic freedom and open debate.
