Former FBI Director James Comey has officially been indicted by a grand jury. The charges are relatively minor, but both contain potential prison terms. The first is making false statements within jurisdiction of the legislative branch and the second is obstruction of congressional proceedings. Comey is scheduled to turn himself in Friday, September 26, 2025.
The charges are not the haymaker charges many were hoping, such as treason. As such, these charges could be viewed as yet another warning to the Democrats to stand down their assault on American Rule of Law lest they face criminal prosecution of haymaker charges likes treason.
The insurrectionist state of California passed legislation intended to blunt efforts by the Trump administration to remove illegal aliens from their lands. One bill, signed into law by Gavin Newsome (D-CA), would make it illegal for Federal ICE Agents to wear masks during their operations. The move is intended to help terrorists find the agents at their homes and hurt them and their families.
The Trump administration responded defiantly through Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLauglin, who told the press, “Governor Gavin Newsom is fanning the flames of division, hatred, and dehumanization of our law enforcement. At a time that ICE law enforcement faces a 1,000% increase in assaults and their family members are being doxxed and targeted, the sitting Governor of California signs unconstitutional legislation that strips law enforcement of protections in a disgusting, diabolical fundraising and PR stunt. To be crystal clear: we will not abide by Newsom’s unconstitutional ban.”

President Donald Trump’s administration is refusing to comply with California’s new law banning federal immigration agents from wearing face coverings during enforcement operations.
The move is setting up another direct clash between Washington and Sacramento over immigration.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed the so-called “No Secret Police Act” on Saturday.
The bill prohibits local and federal officers from wearing ski masks, gaiters, or other face coverings while conducting operations in the state.
The law goes into effect in January 2026.
It includes exceptions for SWAT teams and medical masks, but is aimed directly at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) quickly pushed back.
Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told the Daily Caller:

Mahmoud Abbas is now demanding $2 Trillion in reparations from Britain. This comes after most of Western Europe, including the UK, suddenly declared a recognition of the “Palestinian State” while under siege by Islamist revolutionaries their own governments paid to import.
Former top-ranking members of the UK’s military signed a letter denouncing the recognition of a Palestinian state by the UK. They called the decision “reckless in the extreme” and accused PM Kier Starmer’s action as being a danger to Britain’s own security.

The DNC has accused Tom Homan of accepting a bribe of $50,000 in cash to guarantee the payees get government contracts. They say the encounter was caught on video, but the Trump administration stopped the investigation. Now, the Trump administration has fired back.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested Anibal Hernandez Santana, 63, of Sacramento, over the weekend, and a three-count amended criminal complaint was filed against him on Monday morning, charging him with possessing a firearm within a school zone, discharging a firearm within a school zone, and interfering with a radio communication station, U.S. Attorney Eric Grant announced.
According to court documents, on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, Hernandez Santana fired one shot towards, and three shots into, the KXTV/ABC 10 station on Broadway in Sacramento. While standing on the sidewalk around the block from the station, in front of 2555 3rd Street, Hernandez Santana fired the first shot into the air in the direction of the station. He then drove to the front of the station and fired three shots directly into the building’s lobby. A KXTV/ABC 10 employee was inside the lobby at the time, although no one was injured. The location from where Hernandez Santana discharged the first shot was within a school zone.
Law enforcement executed a search of Hernandez Santana’s person, home, and vehicle. There was a weekly planner attached to the refrigerator in his home. Under “Friday,” there was a handwritten note that stated, “Do the Next Scary Thing.” Law enforcement also found in his car a handwritten note that read, “For hiding Epstein & ignoring red flags. Do not support Patel, Bongino, & AG Pam Bondi. They’re next. – C.K. from above.”
The Sacramento Police Department initially arrested Hernandez Santana on Friday evening, but Hernandez Santana was released on bail the next day. The FBI arrested him hours later. Hernandez Santana is scheduled to make his initial appearance on the amended criminal complaint on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
Charlie Kirk, the American activist murdered for speaking freely, was remembered Sunday, September 22, 2025, 12 days after his death. Attending were the luminaries of the American activist world, from conservatives to libertarians to classical liberals. That list included President Donald Trump, who at one point was joined by another high-profile attendee, Elon Musk.

The former Chief of Staff of former President Joe Biden, Jeff Zients, went before a congressional panel September 18, 2025 and testified that Biden became increasingly difficult to work with. More meetings were required to make final decisions and Biden increasingly found it difficult to remember names and dates and events.
