Virginia Teachers are defying their own state government by declaring they will continue to enforce mask mandates on students, and to make sure the point is clear to the kids, they’ve taken to bully the students that refuse to wear the mask after the Governor of Virginia ended the mask mandates for schools.

Even after newly-elected Governor Glenn Youngkin walked into his office on the first day and tossed out all public school mask mandates, it seems there is a good portion of teachers who would rather keep the students muzzled indefinitely. A report in the Washington Free Beacon details that several teachers in various Virginia public school districts have taken to social media, vowing to ostracize and bully students into wearing masks.

Wyoming Republican Harriet Hageman, endorsed by former President Donald Trump, showed a commanding lead against the Democrat-allied Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) in a Saturday straw poll full of House candidates held by the Wyoming Republican State Central Committee.

A secret ballot straw poll of Republican party activists gave Hageman 59 votes, a 53 vote lead against Cheney, according to the Casper Star-Tribune. Cheney garnered only six votes, along with state Sen. Anthony Bouchard (R-Cheyenne), who received two votes, and Denton Knapp, who received one vote.

According to the AP article, the proposal before the California Legislature comes from San Francisco’s Scott Wiener, a San Francisco Democrat. The openly gay Wiener, a Harvard Law graduate, has dedicated himself to several issues revolving around sexuality and children.

While he was a San Francisco supervisor, Wiener got the Board of Supervisors to agree to bar the city from doing business with companies based in states that haven’t passed civil rights laws that, instead of just applying to all citizens equally, make special mention of people on the LGBTQ+++ spectrum.
