Just as I don’t blame the illegal aliens pouring in over our southern border for taking advantage of Joe Biden’s blatantly violating American immigration law, I don’t blame the people at the “Center for Healing Racial Trauma” for using Critical Race Theory to get $5,000 from the ostentatiously guilt-ridden White fools at the University of Kentucky (U.K.).  After all, as the Bible teaches, a fool and his money are soon parted.  Still, it’s important to understand the toxic message these and other race-hustlers (both Black and White) are inculcating in academia, for it’s a message that will eventually be drilled into our children and grandchildren.

Why the press wants Cuomo, their onetime shining knight, to resign

The media establishment, which once adored Andrew Cuomo, is telling him it’s time to go.

From major news organizations to liberal commentators, there is a remarkable unanimity of opinion that the governor must resign — a solidarity that mirrored last year’s consensus that Cuomo was a hero of the pandemic.

In covering his decade running New York, journalists often described him as more-feared-than revered. He was a brawler, a tough guy from Queens, who knocked heads to get things done….

Don’t Let the Unvaccinated Fly, Former DHS Official Declares

PGC – And so it has begun, a former Obama official is now throwing a thought up a flag pole to see not only who salutes, but who doesn’t cry out, “is you crazy?”

Well, consider this we the people saying to you, ‘is you crazy?!”

Juliette Kayyem, a former low-level official in Obama’s Department of Homeland Security, is suggesting in an op end in the Atlantic that maybe we should consider putting the unvaccinated on a no-fly list, or, to put it in another term, maybe we should nudge the vaccinated public to subhumanize the non-vaccinated even more.

Perhaps the DNC is betting that the vast majority of the unvaccinated in Bidenmerica are Republicans, or, at the very least, DNC resisters, maybe even DNC deniers.  So, by pushing for vaccinations in the first place, they create the self-filtering conditions that let them identify their ‘people’ from all others, faith in government and corporations, the kind of people the DNC wants to be around for decades to come.

Those other kinds, the ones less prone to accept a world where we own nothing and rent everything, well, of course they’d be less likely to vaccinate under these conditions, a vaccine that was rushed, efforts to brutally silence any data that counters the narrative of the state and the corporation, all of which seem willing to work hand in hand on some major public debates in America today.

But maybe they’re just worried about our safety and realize we are far too uninformed, or even informable, for that matter, to make decisions on our own regarding our understanding of safety versus liberty, risk versus reward.

Extreme weather events seem to be getting more common. In the last month in particular, we’ve seen dramatic flash floods in various parts of the world, including Germany, China, and the US. But while some regions get an excess of rainfall, others are seeing a dearth of it. They’re not all waiting for Mother Nature to show them some love, though. Scientists in the United Arab Emirates are taking matters into their own hands. In the face of searing temperatures and ongoing…

U.S. Army’s Future Robotic Off-Road ATV Can Conquer Unknown, Dangerous Terrain

GE Research was one of the 8 partners that were selected for SARA, most of them from the academic sector. Less than 1 year later, it’s proud to announce that its robotic “ATVer” has successfully passed what could be called a road test.

Led by Senior Scientist Shiraj Sen, the General Electric Research Robotics Team has developed and demonstrated an autonomous ground vehicle that can operate effectively in a complex off-road environment.

What makes this robotic ATVer unique is that it’s risk-aware, meaning that it can recognize and assess risks when operating in uncertain, unfamiliar conditions. This is possible thanks to the integration of GE’s Humble AI technology. With the help of this algorithmic mechanism, the vehicle can process the information it gets from its “eyes” – LIDAR and other visual technologies – and assess what the next step should be, for example in the case of obstacles.

How Cells Use Memories of Past Inflammation To Respond to New Threats

From scitechdaily.com

Rockefeller University
Excerpt:

When a tissue experiences inflammation, its cells remember. Pinning proteins to its genetic material at the height of inflammation, the cells bookmark where they left off in their last tussle. Next exposure, inflammatory memory kicks in. The cells draw from prior experience to respond more efficiently, even to threats that they have not encountered before. Skin heals a wound faster if it was previously exposed to an irritant, such as a toxin or pathogen; immune cells can attack new viruses after a vaccine has taught them to recognize just one virus.

Now, a new study in Cell Stem Cell describes the mechanism behind inflammatory memory, also commonly referred to as trained immunity, and suggests that the phenomenon may be universal across diverse cell types.

“This is happening in natural killer cells, T cells, dendritic cells from human skin, and epidermal stem cells in mice,” says Samantha B. Larsen, a former graduate student in the laboratory of Elaine Fuchs at The Rockefeller University. “The similarities in mechanism are striking, and may explain the remitting and relapsing nature of chronic inflammatory disorders in humans.”
