House Republicans Investigate Berkeley’s CCP Ties

GOP House members stand alone in signaling the alarm that the Chinese Communist Party has infiltrated our universities and colleges. No Democrat joined them in efforts to investigate the deep ties discovered between the bastion of leftist brainwashing, the University of California Berkeley. House Republicans sent a letter to the dean of Berkeley Michael Drake, pointing out the unholy alliance between his university and the CCP’s Tsinghua University in Shenzhen.

The letter points to the work the two schools do together developing technologies that share American secrets with Chinese Communists, creating national security threats to the country. The letter was signed by committee chairman Mike Gallagher (R-Wisc.) and Congresswoman Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.).

They wrote, “Berkeley’s P.R.C.-backed collaboration with Tsinghua University raises many red flags.”

This is the second time Congress called the Marxist-training University into question for its CCP ties. In May, the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee exposed $200 million in funding it accepted from groups directly connected to the CCP.

Again, no Democrat joined in the effort to expose these CCP ties and attempt to bring people to justice who participated in this act of treason.

“Zombie Cell Killer” Could Be Key to Ending Cancer, Extending Human Life

A new molecule called CUDC-907 has the capacity to selectively target what are called “zombie cells” in the body for assassination without harming other cells in the body that are not zombie cells. The molecule could become an anti-aging drug that might extend human life AND combat cancer.

These zombie cells contribute to tissues aging and adversely affect the healthy cells around them. Researchers from the University of Leicester in the UK and UOC (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya) in Spain developed the molecule. Professor Salvador Macip, dean of the UOC’s Faculty of Health Sciences and Professor of Molecular Medicine at the University of Leicester, said of the discovery, “The drug we identified is a powerful destroyer of old cells and its effect against some cancers is also now being investigated, so it could have a double effect: anti-cancer and at the same time, it could act against old cells that make the cancer reappear.”

The researchers tested the molecule of different types of human cells, finding that “dual inhibitor CUDC-907 eliminates a specific type of senescent cell with limited side effects.”

Macip added, “Perhaps an intensive dose of the drug would clean the brain and prevent the disease from progressing. It could also be useful in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, to slow its progress, rather than the aging itself.”

Ultra-Left Portland Has Had Enough of Ultra-left Portland

One of the bastions for leftist insanity that gave us some of the worst leftist policies in the country that continues to enable leftist violence and thuggery is finding itself at odds with the tyrannical mob it enabled. Apparently, the officials of Portland, Maine who helped cultivate this unholy beast are now seeking to reign it in by modifying ballot initiate rules so that the city is not completely at the mercy of the leftist mob.

Mayor Kate Snyder is hoping to add nine amendments to the city code, including one that would enable the city council to override any passed referendum. A group called “Enough is Enough” is leading the charge to reign in the mobocracy that unfettered ballot initiative create, but it is being attacked by the leftist mob with signs that say “Enough is Enough. How Dare You Ask for More!”

The sign implies the mob is always right and should always be listened to, which is not a surprise coming from a cult that assumes America is a “Democracy,” the worst form of government in the world, and not a Constitutional Republic with Democratic features designed to prevent the mob from ruling over the minority.

Watching these leftists come face to face with their own leftist “officials” who themselves have grown sick of the unhinged demands from this mob is highly entertaining on one hand, but from an American constitutional perspective, it drives home the fact that significant sections of our country are no longer under American constitutional jurisprudence. To be sure, the Mayor of Portland and her elite colleagues aren’t trying to restore American Rule of Law to their fallen city, they just don’t want to lose too much power to the Frankenstein beast their actions (in collusion with the MSM) created this hate-filled, anti-American, anti-human mob in the first place.

NYC Taxpayers Paying Black, Hispanic Teachers to Fail Text

After a leftist Manhattan judge ruled in 20212 that NYC’s teachers’ entrance exam was racist, NYC eventually decided to no longer appeal the ruling but rather began settling with black and Hispanic teachers who failed the exam. 95 percent of whites passed the test while only 53 percent of black and 50 percent of Hispanics passed the text. So far, since former Mayor Bill de Blasio stopped the appeal in 2018, the city of New York has given out $750 billion to failed teachers, with at least one collecting over $2 million after failing multiple times.

It is expected the city of New York will give out more than $1.8 billion in total settling a case that still has plenty of appeals available for it. There is an irony in the fact that people who failed to successfully demonstrate minimal competence to serve in the NY Public School system as teachers are now costing that same school system nearly $2 billion to assuage their hurt at failing. Talk about failing up……

Printing Human Organs With a Handheld Device?

Researchers from the University of Victoria in Canada have developed a handheld on-site bioprinter that is capable of printing complex “biocompatible structures.” The device is the first of its kind that can not only print complex structures but can do it on-site. Potential applications could include printing structures used for breast implants for breast reduction surgery breast cancer patients need.

One researcher from the team, Associate Professor Mohsen Akbari said in a press release, “Two decades ago, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, which eventually led to the removal of her breast. This affected her well-being considerably. It made me realize that a technology like handheld bioprinting could not only help develop personalized implants for breast reconstruction that match the shape and size of the patient’s tissue, but also be used to create tumor models for the study of breast cancer biology. Such applications could significantly improve treatment outcomes for affected patients.”

Biden Energy Secretary Hires Ford’s Top Lobbyist to Oversee DOE Grants

Senator John Barrasso (R-WY) is accusing Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm of trading influence for cash with Chris Smith, Ford’s Top Lobbyist. Barasso said of his investigation. “The totality of these circumstances amounts to, at the very least, the appearance of an undue influence by Ford on the Department of Energy. The Department must be guided by a spirit of impartiality and competition as it allocates hundreds of billions of dollars of taxpayer funds.”

On June 22, nearly three months after Smith was joined the SEAB, the DOE’s Loan Programs Office, which oversees hundreds of billions of dollars in energy program funding, announced a $9.2 billion loan for BlueOval SK, a joint venture between Ford and South Korean battery manufacturer SK On founded to supply Ford with batteries for its electric vehicle business.

DOE said in its June announcement that the loan would help fund the construction of three manufacturing plants in Tennessee and Kentucky. The facilities will produce batteries for future Ford and Lincoln electric vehicles.

Hunter Hired By Burisma to Secure U.S. Protection of Corrupt Burisma Founder

A newly exposed email chain from 2015 shows the officials of the energy company Burisma Holdings were interested in hiring Hunter Biden, the son of then-Vice-President Biden for one main purpose, to secure the protection of Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky. Shortly after that Hunter was hired and Joe confessed he threatened to withhold billions in U.S. aid to Ukraine unless they fired prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Zlochevsky (also referred to as Nikolay).

“On Nov. 2, 2015, Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi emailed Hunter Biden, who was serving as a Burisma board member, his associates Devon Archer, a fellow board member, and Rosemont Seneca Partners president Eric Schwerin about a “revised proposal, contract and initial invoice for Burisma Holdings,” from lobbying firm Blue Star Strategies, according to emails from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop, which have been verified by Fox News Digital.”

“Pozharskyi emphasized in his email that the “ultimate purpose” of the agreement with Blue Star Strategies was to shut down “any cases/pursuits against Nikolay in Ukraine,” referring to Zlochevsky, who also went by Nikolay.”

From the email exchanges, specifically from Pozharskyi to the Bidens:

“My only concern is for us to be on the same page re our final goals. With this in mind, I would like us to formulate a list of deliverables, including, but not limited to: a concrete course of actions, incl. meetings/communications resulting in high-ranking US officials in Ukraine (US Ambassador) and in US publicly or in private communication/comment expressing their ‘positive opinion’ and support of Nikolay/Burisma to the highest level of decision makers here in Ukraine :President of Ukraine, president Chief of staff, Prosecutor General, etc.”

“The scope of work should also include organization of a visit of a number of widely recognized and influential current and/or former US policy-makers to Ukraine in November aiming to conduct meetings with and bring positive signal/message and support on Nikolay’s issue to the Ukrainian top officials above with the ultimate purpose to close down for any cases/pursuits against Nikolay in Ukraine.”

U.S. House Report Exposes Ukraine, DNC Collusion to Censor Americans

DNC-Controlled social media worked with Biden officials and Ukraine officials to censor Americans not carrying the acceptable pro-Ukraine, pro-U.S.-support of Ukraine narrative coming out of the White House. Some of those targeted were American journalists. One target was the U.S. State Department itself.

The 27-page document shows FBI efforts to censor and remove Americans’ posts and accounts in cooperation with Meta, Google, and other Pro-DNC (or DNC-controlled) social media outlets. They worked with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) to identify the “problematic” posts and accounts. One such account turned out to be @usaporusski, a Russian-language version of the U.S. State Department.

The FBI facilitated censorship requests to American social media companies on behalf of a Ukrainian intelligence agency infiltrated by Russian-aligned actors In so doing, the FBI violated the First Amendment rights of Americans and potentially undermined our national security,”

Ray Epps to be Charged?

The man identified by many as being an FBI plant on the January 6, 2021 protests of the mass mailer election has been notified by the DOJ it seeks to bring charges against him. That man is the now infamous Ray Epps, who was caught on multiple videos seeming to incite people to turn a protest into a riot, or worst, an actual insurrection (which, if he was trying to do, he failed to accomplish). So far, despite being notified in May of 2023, no charges have actually ben filed.

It was in a lawsuit filed by Ray Epps against Fox News over its position on January 6 as represented by Tucker Carlson (that it was not an insurrection). It should be noted that lawsuit came after Fox news bent the knee to Dominion Voting Systems, hoping appeasing leftist insurrectionists would get the heat off of them.

They even sacrificed their cash cow, that same Tucker Carlson, to do so. So far, it has only increased the leftist assault on Fox News who failed to learn the lesson that you never apologize to or negotiate with terrorists, which the left in America, to Americans who hold to American bill of rights values, certainly has become.

The lawsuit filing included this statement that reveals the Epps charges, “Finally, in May 2023, the Department of Justice notified Epps that it would seek to charge him criminally for events on January 6, 2021- two-and-a-half years later. The relentless attacks by Fox and Mr. Carlson and the resulting political pressure likely resulted in the criminal charges.”

Scientists Lied About Covid-19 Origins Over Fear of China

U.S. House Republicans are uncovering a paper trail from scientists around the world in the early months of Covid-19 who all seemed ready to investigate whether the plandemic virus came from a Wuhan lab in China until they thought about the fear of upsetting their masters, the Chinese Communist Party. One such exchange was exposed in the Daily Mail which shows University of Edinburgh biologist Dr. Andrew Rambaut expressing fears of even suggesting the virus was accidently released from a Chinese lab, saying it would cause a “political s#$t show.”

Knowing the origins of a virus is crucial to understanding how to potentially treat patients fighting the virus, but the world medical establishment, including the U.S., all felt allowing the world to fly blind in fighting a virus that killed tens of millions worldwide rather than upset their de facto Chinese masters. As the saying goes, if you want to know who the real power is, find out who you cannot question or doubt. In America and much of the West, it seems China is at the top of that list, with anyone not white, “cis”-gendered, heterosexual, or binary being a close second.
