Big News from our first digital newspaper, the Tioga Freedomist, that broke in the beginning of this month has recently been updated. A man facing child pornography charges is confirmed to be a local Pastor from Mansfield PA, Jonathan Gilbert West. Here’s more from the Tioga Freedomist:
Mansfield Pastor Faces Child Porn Charges, Formal Arraignment- UPDATE
Pastor Jonathan West of Mansfield was formally charged and arraigned on child pornography charges September 1st. Here are the latest updates of that case as it heads to a formal arraignment at the end of this month.
Paul Gordon Collier- The Pastor of the Mansfield First United Methodist Church, Jonathan Gilbert West, was arrested on September 1st of this year. West was brought before Magisterial District Court Judge James E. Carlson, on September 1st, where he was charged with six counts of possession of child pornography, six counts of dissemination of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility. Judge Carlson assigned a $30,000 unsecured bond for West at the time of the arraignment.
