RESEARCHERS CLAIM THEY HAVE PERFECTED PERFETLY SECURED COMMUNICATIONS – Researchers from the University of Oxford and Carnegie Melon University claim to have created a completely secure method of digital transmission. The technique hides the intended content within other content in a way, they claim, cannot be detected. They use a technique called steganography, which involves sharing sensitive content within innocuous content. Up to now, the insertion of the sensitive data into the innocuous data creates enough of a change in the innocuous data that the cloaking can be detected. read more
FED SINKS STOCKS WITH PROMISE TO RAISE RATES – U.S. Federal Reserve Board Chair Jerome Powell recently declared that the road back to economic health is to be filled with higher interest rates than most might be expecting. “We raised rates very quickly last year, and we know that monetary tightening policy has delayed effects; it takes a while for the full effects to be seen,” he said. read more
UK PONDERS BILL MAKING IT ILLEGAL TO EVEN BELIEVE IN ABORTION OUTSIDE MURDER CENTERS – The UK is now proposing a bill that would criminalize protesting outside the murder centers, with an amendment added that would even prevent “silent prayer” outside the murder centers. Some MPs are fighting back, rightly arguing that the amendment creates thought crimes which would be extended far beyond merely preventing humans from silently praying outside murder centers. read more
CHINA SEVERS INTERNET IN TAIWAN TERRITORY – Outlying islands owned by Taiwan have been experiencing their internet go out over and ovaer again these past five years. One island, Matsu, recently had their internet cut again. The culprit is almost always the same, Chinese boats that invade their waters and send divers down to cut cables connecting the islands to the main island. So far, the Chinese have done this to Matsu alone 27 times in the past five years. read more
RESERVIST PROTESTS COULD EXPAND, THREATENING ISRAELI MILITARY READINESS – A growing number of Israelis are choosing to not show up for their reserve duty obligations, and more are threatening to join them. The movement is a response to the plans by Netanyahu’s government to dramatically “reform” the judicial system in what seems like a transparent attempt to protect the Prime Minister, who faces corruption charges in an ongoing trial. read more

CNN MIGHT SOON BE LABELED FAKE NEWS BY TWITTER, ACCORDING TO MUSK – Elon Musk tweeted out a suggestion that he might soon be compelled to label CNN a fake news source in light of news that the organization buried the Covid-19 Wuhan Lab Leak story to protect the DNC from potentially losing the 2020 election to Donald Trump.
US LOOKS TO END CUBA EMBARGO – A bipartisan Senate bill has been going forward that would end the U.S. embargo against the communist nation of Cuba. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) said of the bill “Our bipartisan legislation will turn the page on the failed policy of isolation while creating a new export market and generating economic opportunities for American businesses.”
NSA DIRECTOR SIGNALS SECURITY RISK CONCERNS OVER TIKTOK DATA COLLECTION – The Director of the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA), Paul Nakasone, fired off warning salvos about Chinese-Communist-Party-Owned TikTok data collections. He said in a briefing that the platform has considerable power to harvest secure data and mass-manipulate America. He said “TikTok concerns me for a number of different reasons,” hinting that there is even more to be concerned about than he proffered.
CHINA USING MILITIA TO SEIZE PHILIPPINE-HELD ISLAND – The Philippines is accusing China of sending armed fishing boats to intimidate residents of a disputed island in the South China sea in an effort to take the island and expand China’s empire using its border-extending strategy of seizing lightly occupied and unoccupied territory.
RUSSIAN OFFICERS MUTINY OVER HANDLING OF ASSAULT ON VUGLEDAR – The Russian military is alleged to have experienced in one of its assaults, an assault on the Ukrainian town of Vugledar, a mutiny, according to Ukrainian military officers, who claim, “The leaders of the brigade and senior officers are refusing to proceed with a new senseless attack as demanded by their unskilled commanders – to storm well-defended Ukrainian positions with little protection or preparation.”
ANOTHER YOUNG ATHLETE SUDDENLY DIES, A 21-YEAR-OLD IVORY COAST FOOTBALLER – Another young athlete has suddenly died, this time in the middle of a game. Moustapha Sylla, a 21-year-old man from the Ivory Coast, died shortly after suddenly collapsing in a match He was playing for Racing club d’Abidjan at the time of his death. No cause of death was given.
