“American” Students Want Professor Fired for Talking About Blackface
A College Professor from Lewis & Clark College dared to show students a film that had a blackface moment in it, that is, a moment when a white actor wore blackface. The professor, William Pritchard, showed the clip as a means to have a conversation about blackface and how society might come to terms with wrestling with freedom of expression versus the harm it might cause others.
The students now demand the professor be fired for even having the conversation in the first place. They certainly have become diehard members of the party, and that party is not American, for these students are not American students, but, rather, are more in keeping with the ideology of the Chinese Communist Party than a Bill of Rights people. This is how our University is continuing to assault our own nation-state, grooming seditionists against the very principles of American Liberty.

Students at Lewis & Clark College are calling for the dismissal of an English professor for alleged “inappropriate behaviors” and “harmful messages,” according to some of his students.
Earlier in the fall semester, William Pritchard, an associate professor of English, penned a two-page apology letter and read it out loud in class after showing a movie clip with blackface and facilitating a discussion on the subject that students perceived as defending blackface.
But the apology did not ease students’ concerns, as they have described it as performative and lacking sincerity, and they have since lodged more allegations against the scholar, who has worked at the Oregon-based college since 2003.
Students from three of his English courses have signed on to a 14-page letter arguing he should be terminated for “inadequate performance and repeated violation of duly adopted policies of the college.”
