Quickly becoming a cult figure of sorts, a (thus far) anonymous ‘good guy’ hacker, using the eponym Neo (after the famous “MATRIX’ hacker), is tweeting out the secrets of Latvian Bankers who have betrayed the promises they made to Latvia after receiving a bailout at the expense of the Latvian people. One of the most egregious violations of the people’s trust is a promise to reduce their salaries until the bailout dollars are paid back. According the financial records of the banks in question, this is NOT the case. Will this event send a chilling signal to the rest of the world’s fat cat bankers who’ve made similar promises to their home constituents? One can only hope. Go NEO!
