RightOnline See Overwhelming Demand From Grassroots for Sneak Peek of Palin Movie, ‘The Undefeated’
In response to overwhelming demand from its free-market grassroots activists for a sneak peek of the controversial new film, The Undefeated, Americans for Prosperity Foundation’s RightOnline Conference will move the showing of the movie to the 1,000-seat main ballroom during RightOnline on Friday, June 17th at 9 p.m. CDT. The Undefeated is an independently produced feature film about Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah Palin. RightOnline is a conservative technology activism conference that runs opposite the left-wing Netroots Nation Convention.

Victory Film Group today announced The Undefeated, which chronicles Sarah Palin’s rise from obscurity to national prominence, will screen for select audiences at several upcoming events including; for bloggers at The RightOnline Conference in Minneapolis on June 17th; for conservative women activists at the Smart Girl Summit in St. Louis on July 30th , and the RedState Gathering in Charleston, SC on August 12th.
Written and directed by award-winning filmmaker Stephen K. Bannon and produced by Victory Film Group co-founder Glenn Bracken Evans and Dan Fleuette, The Undefeated was independently produced and financed by Victory Film Group and its partners.
The film includes leading prominent political commentators Mark Levin, Tammy Bruce and Andrew Breitbart as well as conservative activists Kate Obenshein, Sonnie Johnson and Jamie Radtke. Additionally, the film features interviews with Alaskan civil servants, elected officials and advisors who were involved in Alaskan politics during Governor Palin’s tenure.

New Palin Movie, the Undefeated, Will Air at Three Major Conservative Conferences This Summer

Andrew Breitbart will introduce the movie at next week’s Rightonline conference in Minnesota. It will also be aired in July at the Smart Girl Summit and at the Redstate conference in August in South Carolina. Politico reports:
The Sarah Palin film “The Undefeated” is set for screenings at three of the major conservative activist conferences this summer.
Next week’s RightOnline conference will be the first to show the film, with an introduction from BigGovernment.com founder Andrew Breitbart.
The film will then go to the Smart Girl Summit in July and the conservative blog RedState’s conference in August in Charleston, S.C., a source confirmed to POLITICO.
“Sarah Palin connects with grassroots conservatives in a way few others do,” said RedState founder Erick Erickson. “Showing ‘The Undefeated’ to this audience is a natural fit, particularly as RedState’s readers continue to support and love Governor Palin.”
Palin’s team pitched the movie to writer and director Steve Bannon, but has been hands-off in the film’s production — paid for by Bannon’s company, Victory Films. The film focuses mostly on Palin’s two-and-a-half years as Alaska’s governor, providing a glowing image of her skills as an executive, while leaving out low points and mistakes.
At a screening for reporters last week in Washington, Bannon said that he hopes the film will provide a “balance” to some of the negative press coverage the former governor has gotten.
“There is a battle for the soul of the conservative movement and the Republican Party, and it is most important to bring this film to these influential activist audiences,” Bannon said.
Remember that the movie formally debuts in AMC theaters nationwide on July 15th. It will debut at special screenings in Iowa, South Carolina, Nevada, and New Hampshire later this month.
