The Federal Reserve Board on Monday announced its approval of the application by United Bankshares, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary, UBC Holding Company, Inc., both of Charleston, West Virginia, to acquire Centra Financial Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiary bank, Centra Bank, Inc., both of Morgantown, West Virginia.
