JERUSALEM, Israel — Apple Inc. got rid of a free application that Israel said incites violence against the Jewish state.

“We removed this app from the App Store because it violates the developer guidelines by being offensive to large groups of people,” an Apple spokesman announced on Wednesday evening.

Developed by a Dubai-based company, the Arabic-language “Third Palestinian Intifada” helps users organize anti-Israel protests and share a variety of pro-Palestinian material such as songs, articles and photos of so-called martyrs, the Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported.
