The Last Words of David Wilkerson

The Freedomist has located the last blog post of David Wilkerson and found something that testifies to the power and glory of God. The last two paragraphs of this post seem to be God speaking through David Wilkerson words of comfort for those of us who would mourn the death of this servant of God. He did not seem to know his own death was immanent, yet, the words offer comfort to those who would wonder why, why would God take such a faithful servant so suddenly? Here are those two paragraphs: To those going through the valley and...

Establishing Freedom In YOUR Community NOW!

Creating A Freedom Community Raise your right hand and repeat after me, “I swear (or affirm) that I will support the liberty of my fellow citizens to pursue godliness, self-reliance, and self-determination and that I will stand up for the rights, persons, and property of my fellow citizens against all threats of every kind by all legitimate and reasonable means- SO HELP ME GOD.” Could you make such a commitment? Do you know people you work with or who live right near you who would make such a commitment and actually keep it? Imagine if most of the voters in your town or county took such a pledge and also agreed to ONLY support politicians who also take such a pledge and abide by it. Imagine if most of your local officials, judges, and police or sheriff’s deputies ALSO took this pledge and abided by it. You see, if you want your community to be a freedom community, this type of pledge, getting people to make the pledge and keep it, will help you to transform your community from a community that is not a sanctuary or safe-haven for freedom into a freedom community. How can you make this happen? The key ingredients for a freedom community include: a local freedom press that acts as a Watchdog, Advocate, and Resource; small groups of people who agree to mutually support...

Freedom Faces A Progressive Assault

America Must Choose: EITHER Freedom For All OR Progressive Slavery For All The Progressive war on Freedom takes many forms, from taxes and debt-spending to “legalizing” so-called “gay marriage” against the People’s wishes, from massive new regulations to constantly demonizing Freedom advocates, like the Tea Party. Freedom is in jeopardy: either Progressivism is trounced and denounced by American society or American society will become a society of slaves on the Progressive plantation! What is Freedom? Well, Freedom is one of those self-evident things you either get or don’t get. Because Freedom is self-evident, people who are good at rhetoric often parse it and cut it up until they have turned it on its head. Freedom literally means “the dominion of the free.” Dominion means laws and self-government, and what laws can be better than laws rooted in a godly approach to the way we treat each other and God’s Creation? If laws must exist and if it is inevitable that every law is based on some kind of belief, ideal, idea, or principles, then it is reasonable to say that Biblical ideas and etc as related to how we treat each other and nature are the best ideas. Freedom requires “free” people pursuing godliness, self-reliance, and self-determination and having “dom” (dominion) over their lives, their rights, and their property without being threatened. The two primary elements of freedom are...

Escaping America’s Future- Freedomist Editorial

By Bill Collier Escape FROM America’s Future Make no mistake, I am firmly convinced that society and politics needs a total re-write. I firmly believe in the age-old dictum “revolutionaries must be state builders.” I do not see reformation of the existing state structure and of American politics as being a long-term option if the goal is to restore and extend Freedom based on Liberty (Godliness, Self-Reliance, and Self-Determination) and Security (Security in our Rights, Persons, and Property from all threats). In he 21st century, we are not left with either pacifism or armed resistance, we can resist aggressively and without using violence! It would seem that, with all that technology offers us and with how fed up many others are, a bloodless but extensive “revolution” would be possible. The truth is, however, that few Americans are mentally engaged enough to even comprehend the radical imperative that lays before us, this includes even those who truly ARE for freedom against Big Government and its minions. Americans neither comprehend the nature of the problem nor do they comprehend the possible solution. What we need IS in fact a bone fide revolution that remakes government and American society in the image of a free confederal UNION of sovereign citizens, sovereign states, and 21st century forms of alternative sovereignties. We see that Americans lack the historical as well as the philosophical education...

Will Unemployment Trend Help Obama?

April 01, 2011 9:06 AM <!– –> By MICHAEL FALCONE and AMY WALTER UPDATED Despite all the chaos in Libya and on Capitol Hill this week, the issue that remains the dominate determinate of Obama’s re-election chances is the economy. Today’s unemployment reports shows that employers added 216,000 jobs during the month of March, slightly better than economists’ expectations, and the nation’s unemployment rate inched downward from 8.9 percent to 8.8 percent. (Excluding government layoffs, the private sector added 230,000 workers to payrolls, according to the ABC News Business Unit.) What does it mean? While 8.8 percent is still high, political strategists we talk to argue that the downward trend is more important than the baseline number. The unemployment rate is at its lowest level since March 2009. But Republican leaders on Capitol Hill did not miss a beat, using the latest numbers to try to pressure Democrats into an agreement on spending as negotiations to avert a government shutdown continue. While House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, said an “improvement in the jobs picture is welcome news for the country” he added that “excessive government spending continues to create economic uncertainty, erode confidence in our economy and crowd out the investment that fuels private-sector job creation.” “Senate Democrats have done nothing — except root for a government shutdown — and the White House has called for a job-destroying...
