Believe it or not, the possible GOP-nominee in the election that will determine the power of the Obama-Pelosi-Reid machine to cram Leftist fascism through the Lame Duck congress, the Special Delaware Senate Election, voted against the Iraq Troop Surge.  This is further proof of his far left reality masked behind the GOP label he only symbolically wears.

Mike Castle is the presumed-to-be GOP nominee in the Delaware Senate Primary for this November’s Special Senate Election to fill the Joe Biden Seat.  This is a series on Mike Castle that details his unconstitutional, extreme left Liberal voting history.  If Mike Castle wins the GOP nomination in the Delaware Senate Primary race, Freedomists, Constitutionalists, will have no hope of stopping the Obama-Reid-Pelosi Lame Duck Congress from cramming Cap and Trade, Card Check, and many more extreme left programs through.

In true form, liberal Rep. Mike Castle (R?-DE) voted against the Iraq troop surge.   Once again he sided with the Democrats and against his OWN party and President Bush.  Here is the text of the bill:

This measure expresses the House’s disagreement with President Bush’s planned troop buildup in Iraq. The nonbinding resolution pledges support for U.S. personnel serving “bravely and honorably in Iraq” but says Congress “disapproves” of the president’s plan to add more than 20,000 combat troops. The resolution was approved 246 to 182. Seventeen Republicans joined 229 Democrats in support of the resolution. Two Democrats opposed the measure. While the 95-word resolution has no legal weight to force the president to change his course in Iraq, it marks a first key showdown between the White House and the new Congress controlled by Democrats.
