A STUNNING redhead at the centre of the biggest spy scandal since the Cold War.
Curvy Anna Chapman, 28, posed as a New York estate agent, posted racy photos of herself on her Facebook page, and lived a life of luxury in a plush Manhattan flat.
But the FBI say she is one of 11 spies sent by the Kremlin to live for years under “deep cover” in communities across the US.
The suspects allegedly posed as ordinary Americans, many of them sett ing up homes in the suburbs and befriending their neighbours. Those arrested include four middle-aged couples.
But their mission, according to the Feds, was to worm their way into the trust of America’s great and good and find targets willing to pass them secrets.
One of the accused is said to have used a false British passport.
In a dramatic court hearing in Manhattan on Monday, prosecutor Michael Farbiarz pointed at Chapman and said: “This is a Russian agent.”
He added: “This is just the tip of the iceberg and our case is getting stronger.
“These people trained together. The evidence here is overwhelming. It is simple, it is strong.”
