Iraq Elections- voter turnout high despite violence- days before results counted
Despite violence and intimidation, the people of Iraq came out in droves to vote in this week’s iraq Elections, with the Sunnis, missing from the last election, coming out strong in support of their candidates. Just what type of government will be formed is unknown, as it may well be that no one or two factions secured enough votes to dominiate the parliamentary-styled government.
