After expelling Christians from a Moroccon orphanage, accusing them of proselytizing, the authorities left dozens of orphans, abandoned. The children cried out hysterically for their “parents.”
Morocco, which is predominately Muslim restricts non’Islamic religious material and proselytizing and watching over non-Muslim religious groups. Also, it is only legal for Muslims to adopt children. “Volunteers at Village of Hope were thus acting as foster parents, though the children considered them to be their parents,”Chris Broadbent, of Village of Hope, noted. Broadbent, meanwhile, has appealed to the public for prayers.
