Mccain, Bayh lead Senate call to impose stiff sanctions on Iran for human rights violations

10 US Senators from both sides of the aisle, led by John Mccain (R-AZ and Evan Bayh (D-IN) are leading a call on the Senate to pass legislation in response to the Iran regime’s recent open mureder and assault on its own people on 22 Bahman.  So far, neither the Senate Dem leadership or Senate GOP leadership has aggressively backed this push to sanction Iran for blatant human rights violations.  This past week, the Obama administration did freeze assets of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, as well as the businesses that support the regime’s thug arm.
