Mariciopa County: 1st Amendment Fight Heats Up
So, what’s all the FUSS about in Arizona with David Smith, the Maricopa County Manager?

The internet is ABUZZ with LOTS of talk about about an emerging 1st amendment battle in Maricopa County involving David Smith, the Maricopa County Manager, who is, apparently, awakening the ENTIRE “rightosphere” with his ham handed attempt to intimidate new media sources that are not friendly to him. This GOP stalwart, as some have described him, though we are not sure he IS a GOP member, may not like his County Attorney, but for enraged bloggers, the real issue is a LETTER he sent, demanding private information about media contacts by employees, even on their off time.
