De-Shielding Europe, Surrendering To Russian Aggression

The Russians want the US to NOT put missile defense assets into Poland and the Czech Republic because this would render their ability to intimidate Eastern  Europe which they occupied for nearly 50 years in a tyranny that costs tens of millions of innocent lives, slaughtering more people than the Nazis. A UK Newspaper, the UK Telegraph, calls this a shameful surrender and an act of betrayal to those allies, who stood for this missile defense even in the face of threats of military attack by Russia.  Reid’s Double-Speak,  Questions Baucus Health Care Bill, Threatens To Cram It Through

Senate Majority Leader: Wants Health Care That “Benefits” Nevada,  But Threatens to Us ILLEGAL Maneuver to Pass Health Care

In an article in the Las Vegas Sun (Here –à http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2009/sep/16/harry-reid-health-care-bill-wont-work-nevada/) Harry Reid is supposed to be saying that he will not bring a health care bill to the senate floor that is not “good for Nevada.” While the article focuses on this as a sign that the Baucus Bill is in trouble, Reid says in the article that Baucus has promised him that “the bill will be improved for Nevada.” Reid’s primary “objection”, for the cameras, was that the bill would increase the amount of money the state would have to spend on  Medicaid.  Meanwhile, Reid is threatening to cancel the October break, breaks are often used by members of Congress to meet with constituents, over deadlock on funding the federal government, and has been in the news saying that he would use “reconciliation”, a procedure  only allowed for budgetary items, that circumvents the normal 60 vote threshold needed to vote on a bill. It is ILLEGAL to use this procedure for anything other than funding even as it is is ILLEGAL for the Senate to “initiate” ANY spending Bill of ANY kind.

 Cass Sunstein’s  ENEMY LIST BOTS: Using methods from his book, Nudge, Cass Sunstein, the controversial and anti-Constitutionalist zealot for state control over the media, is evidently behind a White House program that collects comments from private citizen’s web sites, social networking sites (Twitter, FaceBook, Myspace, etc.) which includes content, identities, web addresses, and etc.  According to this article in the Washington Times (Here –à http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/sep/16/obama-wh-collects-web-users-data/)  the White House has hired a private contractor to go out and COLLECT data by using a “bot” to “crawl” the web for comments and remarks  and then archives the information, which would include not merely the content but identification of IP addresses, web addresses, author names, and contact information. In short,  these Sunstein Enemy List Bots are going OUTSIDE the White House’s website and using taxpayer dollars to pay a PRIVATE company to collect information for an enemies list that identities opposing content and the people who produce such content.

 Obama Is Responsible for Marine Deaths

Repeating the mistakes of the Vietnam War, President Obama, who continues to delay action on a request for more troops, is micromanaging the war against the Taliban in Afghanistan with rules of engagement that delay reaction time and are now leading to American and allied deaths. The four marines fell to the enemy and died because of President Obama’s insistence on “rules of engagement” that caused a request for artillery support to be denied. Despite the desparate situation, the artillery support was withheld for fear of “civilian casualties.” IN the end, the Marines withdraw, after losses, and the Taliban gained ground.  The Taliban are notorious for random killings of civilians, using children as human shields, placing weapons in private homes and small villages, even forcing people to allow them, and killing any known opponent of their version of radical Islam.

The OBAMEDIA Becomes The Ministry of Propaganda and Enlightenment

President Obama’s media team inside the White House includes men like Cass Sunstein  (Here à http://www.newsmax.com/politics/obama_sunstein_websites/2009/08/05/244336.html) and Mark Lloyd (Here -à http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/53195). These men, and their allies in ABC, NBC, CBS, the AP, the New York Times, and most if the “News Media”, have a view of speech and information that is in tune with the view held by Hugo Chavez.  Indeed, Obama continues to support Mark Lloyd who PRAISES the way Hugo Chavez “managed” the media. Chavez’s “management” equated to shutting down all opposition and nationalizing all major media outlets, a policy both Lloyd and Sunstein, approve of.

 In the past, the propagandists for the left were able to say anything they liked without challenge, something Dan Rather discovered they could no longer do when he tried to smear President Bush with faked documents in a knowing attempt to affect a national election,. Another trick they enjoyed using with great success was to IGNORE or bury a story. Back in the early 1980’s Christian singer Steve Taylor once opined in a song titled “Meat the Press” that “A Christian can’t get equal time unless he’s a loony committing a crime.”

 In a NewsMax piece (here-à http://www.newsmax.com/headlines/acorn_media_beck_fox/2009/09/16/261056.html) David Patten gives a factual report, with proof, of how the Obamedia is playing by the OLD rules whereby they could underplay or not report on something and thereby bury it. From the ACORN scandal to the almost 2 million protestors in Washington DC who oppose Big Government IN PRINCIPLE as an inherently BAD idea, the Obamedia has tried to “bury” anything that shows anything potentially negative about Obama and his allies while keeping their readers and viewers from learning about the full extent of the opposition, whom the Obamedia, at the behest of operatives who have a presence in government, business, and the Obamedia,  either ignores or slanders.
